I used it on table and fire place to protect my grand daughter and it helped
Easy to install and very soft. The toddler didn’t manage to unglue these from the furniture
I wasted time and money on a cheaper product which turned out to be so soft it was useless. This is more expensive but you get a quality product that will properly protect little heads from hurting themselves
It does what it says and does protect but you get very less product. I could not even cover half of my centre table. 6 corners is good but the roll is way too less for the price. The thickness is really good for protection. Also got an extra tape but it already comes with a tape on it for quick installatio

I’ve bought three packs of these bumpers to pad the house and protect from dangerous corners. So far, they’ve done a great job, especially on the edges of tables and drawers. They’re easy to fit and stick well to a variety of surfaces. I did have to use the stronger tape to get them to adhere to a glass television stand but that was no problem at all.

Im very impressed with this product. I have been twitchy since my crawling grandson came for a visit! Am now much more relaxed as this offers some protection. I’ve gone through boxes of these things (my kids like tearing them off and eating them!), but so far this one has lasted the longest. It has excellent adhesion, as there are already strips attached to the foam so I’m assuming this is why they’re better than the normal stuff I get. Thoroughly recommend if you’re got a little one/s and want to help them survive using the tv stand as a crash mat.

Not so thick that looks junkie but big enough to soften the blow to your little one. Easy to install and still holding this is my second batch as I used to cover side tables, coffee table and corner of shelves etc.

Bigger than I anticipated (not a bad thing), easy to stick on and can even cut then fit awkward corners with cupboard doors. I put 4/5 for adhesive as my toddler ripped one off and I had to use the back up sticky strips to stick it back in place – this is not a negative or a problem and the spares are there for a reason. I would order again and recommend

These were bought for my little 10 month old who is crawling and cruising everywhere. We have a tv unit that has sharp corners, so decided to buy these to stick on and I can say they are perfect. Exactly what we needed, good cushioning.
We covered the most of the sharp corners as Little one is on the go. It looks good on forniture and easy to fit.
My 1 yr old grandson managed to pull some of it off,but apart from that,it is soft,but very sturdy and does a great job of protecting him and my daughter can now relax a little around him !

Best safety product for babies and toddlers I have bought so far. It’s very thick and spongy and the adhesive is very strong and easy to use as it is already applied so you just peel the backing off. Comes with a roll of extra adhesive but don’t think it will be needed. We used it on our newly-tiled fireplace and the black strip matches the tiles and doesn’t look out of place. Has been in place about a month now.
Do what they’re meant to. The only thing I would say it that they could be a little more sticky but all in all in happy with them.

However its been around 6 weeks since i installed it and it now seems to be losing its stick and peeling off.
Easy to apply. Looks nice on tv stand. Not coming off yet (had on for few weeks) and gives peace of mind that baby can play safely in the room, top purchase!
I’ve used this on our concrete fireplace and it sticks very well. I cleaned the area well before attaching it and I’m impressed at how well it’s sticking so far. Hopefully it’ll survive my daughter grabbing at it when she starts walking.
Great product, 3m tape stuck really well. Has been on for a few months and is still solid. As the hearth is black no one has noticed it, even when Iv pointed it out to guests. Baby still hasn’t tested it, but I’m sure it’ll cushion any falls, as it’s about 3cm thick and very spongy.

Great quality, easy to fit and stable once fitted. Used for the cooker’s extractor fan, on which I banged my head on the sharp, metal corners – problem solved. Also, we use them when our grandchildren come and stay.

I would suggest that any parent or grandparent get these when there are toddlers around, they won’t protect from a heavy fall but they do protect from knocks that would overwise cause nasty bruises or split skin, so whilst this excellent product does provide some protection, there is still the need to keep a wary eye out for little ones stumbling around and falling head-first into the table edge! But Well done to 3M for making such an excellent safety edge!

Very pleased with this product, does the job perfectly. Not as bulky as other products we’ve used previously so blends in nicely to our hearth. Provides a safe environment for our toddler. The product comes with a roll of back up tape which is very handy.
I’ll admit it is a bit of an eyesore, especially as I ordered black, and against light coloured walls it certainly stands out.
But, if it saves a trip to A&E like the other week when my toddler fell and hit there head on the corner of an internal wall, I’m happy.
In fact I’m going to order another set, as the more you look round the house, the more hard corners you find!
The foam seems nice and soft, and its stuck well to everywhere I’ve fitted it to.

This product has been designed very nicely in a useable manner. It perfectly fits and sticks on corners and edges and the thickness is also perfect (no too thin or not too thick). The packaging of the product amazed me as it looked very premium. They also provide an additional roll of tape with this.

This edge protection strip is a fantastic bumper for protecting those little heads from sharp edged furniture. I definitely have VERY clumsy kids – so any help to limit injuries is good for me!

We tried this along our fireplace as it only has a little gas stove in it now. There is a stone ledge, which this is perfect for! I really really loved how cushiony, and soft the edging was however the colour is incredibly dull. Also, it did not stick at all with the adhesive provided to the stone ledge 🙁 I am certain though it would stick well to more smooth surfaces. The corners were a perfect touch. I really really wish this had worked for us where we needed it to. The only bad thing was the adhesive and colour was not great, but the product itself is a total game changer!
This has already saved us some bruises. We had another one covering the very sharp corners of our bed previously, but it kept falling off even when taped on, so this one has been a life – or at least a leg – saver. It sticks very well and provides good cushioning.

Great idea to have a pack of this safety edge and corners. There are endless places that you could use them. I suppose a corner of a table would be the most popular but when I looked around my home there are loads more – fire hearth, puppy pen, coffee table and even the edge of the toy box lid.
They are made well and are a very thick foam type material.
You just peel off the inner sticker and place where you need them.
Highly recommended for anyone who has young children in their house on a regular basis.

Nice soft rubbery edge to it and 3M adhesive interior – so you cant get better. I cannot say how long it would last against “picking fingers” as our grandson is slightly not there yet where this would become an entertainment. There is obviously a limit to the amount of pulling and tugging it will withstand and yet still be soft to bang against – a careful balance. I suspect once you are done with it you can de-adhesive it by rolling it back or application of Isopropyl alcohol or acetone. Impressive product that does what it needs to do and does it well. Buy with confidence.

A good quick easy solution to help prevent injuries of the corners and edges of furniture. Designed for use on things like tables with hard / sharp edges. Comes with a total of 6 corner protectors as well as just over 2 metres of edging in a roll for making edges of the table less of a hazard for children or vulnerable people. Easy to fit no real DIY skills needed as the backs are self adhesive for easy fixing, can be reasonably easily removed however if you have a paper type veneer on your table surface then you may risk peeling this off if not careful. Only available in chocolatey brown colour at time of review, would be nice to have a choice of colours. Overall does a good job of a safety bumper, easy to fit, well priced, only one colour available.
his is great if you wish to babyproof some items in your home which you worry may be an issue for a newly walking toddler etc. these are easy to cut to size and very very easy to apply. stays put well and are very soft to the touch.

These are brilliant! My toddler is always whacking his head off… Well everything. We have a wooden bed, and at the foot of our bed is the board bit that sticks up, which obviously is very attractive to our toddler who has faceplates it plenty of times. These are so cushioned, he can now faceplant it as much as he wants without smashing his head in, I’m so happy.
These are genius, never thought of them, noone told me about them, but now I’m going to tell like every mum I know. They are a must have!
We have a coffee table that we love, but it is metal and glass and the corners and edges are super sharp. These bumpers are just perfect. They stick on well, are thick but discreet, and there is enough to go the full way around a reasonably big coffee table. They’re good value too.
My main concern is how easy they will be to remove, because I think we’ll keep them on the table for a few years!
This baby proofing kit is very easy to install and the self-adhesive backing is very strong. Even when I tugged on the protectors they stuck firm, so a baby/child won’t be able to easily pull them off,
I also used part of this set to line the side of my desk as I always bang my shin into it & so far I have hit the soft protective cover so many times!!!
Overall very happy, but definitely need to be a bigger pack as not enough protectors inside

Our little Harry has just turned 8 months and has discovered the art of rolling over and over, his unique way of moving around. However little Harry does not consider what he is about to roll onto – for example our fireplace hearth which is made of hard granite and has very sharp edges! We therefore desperately needed to baby proof our living room.
This pack comes in a neat presentation box, and includes one 2 meter strip, 6 corner guards and backup tape. They were extremely easy to install, just remove the plastic covering the self adhesive strip, and stick them to fit. The 3M self adhesive glue sticks very well and the bumpers feel secure. The bumper material is soft to touch but feels dense.
We can now relax a little more and not suddenly jump up every time Harry starts rolling towards our fireplace.
We have hard a few accidents involving Table corners and one was quite serious. I have personally felt the pain of having my skin come in contact with sharp edges and corners. These have made our two glass tables safer. The Protectors are thick and soft so the edges are corners are adequately cushioned.
The corner protections are ready to use. The edge protector requires to be measured and cut. The adhesive is strong so they hold in place.
I found these edge/corner protectors to be really good quality. They’re quite thick and very soft, covered in a faux leathery type material. Simple to use/install and seem to be sticky enough to stay where they’re put (well, until some little ones decide to pull them off, of course!). I can’t say anything bad about them, the value also seems good since you get quite a lot in the pack, although that depends on what you’re wanting to cover, for me it’s only corners and smaller pieces rather than complete edges of counters/benches/etc that would take a lot more.
The box contains six corner pieces and a longer strip with strong adhesive. The thick foam padding is really good and will definitely help to avoid bumps and bruises. The long strip is ideal for the fireplace edge and I’ve used the little corner pieces on the edges of tables and low furniture that’s just at the ‘right’ height for a one-year-old who’s toddling about. Very useful.

At first I thought the foam might be to soft but as it compresses it does give sufficient protection against heavy impacts. The 3M glue allows you to readjust the protectors as you are fitting them, so it is very simple to do. These guards are great for shield any 90 degree edge. However, this is not adequate for hazards that jut out, which have two close together edges that need covering.
Useful to protect both children and adults.
We have a one-year-old grandson who will soon be walking; and he’s already climbing – and bumping himself – easily. These are a good option to protect him from sharp edges. The adhesive is made by 3M Scotch and is strong, yet peels off easily and cleanly (with help from a hair dryer, it makes it even easier). The pack contains extra adhesive strip if needed. All-in-all this is an effective product that is good value at the Amazon price.
Really useful stuff. It’s sold as guard for kids, but there’s a load more uses—anywhere that you might want protection round the edge of something. I’ve used it to prevent a desk from bumping a plastered wall, and to protect another wall from the edges of a really heavy framed mirror. Would also be good to stop a bed headboard knocking off a wall—anything like that. The foam is soft but tough. It’s easy to cut so you can get quite creative with it.
I didn’t get this to protect any kids but rather adults from banging there head into the ridiculously placed fuse box next to our front door and the low ledge coming down the stairs.
The straight edge was the easiest. I found it best to peel a little then stick, peel some more and stick.
The fuse box was a different story. I had to cut the corners and straight down slightly. I used a new 10a scalpel, very sharp, and it was amazing how quickly this material blunted it. Its tricky to get a straight cut as the material just doesn’t want to be cut. Something to consider if you need to cut it.
Other than that I did actually hit my head against it slightly when I’d finished and its perfect.
Inside the box are six corner section and a side of a table section. These guards have a self adhesive strip which makes fitting to table or what ever needs protection really easy and fast. The adhesion is good and strong. Been in place for a week no sign of falling off. Soft but stop dumps etc. Used with pre school children makes room safer. Some of the corner guards used on a over handing cupboard which can often be dumped into. Fitted perfectly and so much safer now.
Overall very pleased. Good value.
As grandparents to a little boy, who has just become a tottering biped, we really love this product.
As a young lad, I can recall my little sister falling and cracking her head on the corner of the fireplace (she still has the scar today some 30 years later).
So, to avoid a similar injury, we replaced the cushions we usually drape over the fireplace with this (see photo)
It’s very simple to cut to size and the adhesive strips work perfectly.
There’s just enough bumper to cover one item, but the 6 corner pieces can be used elsewhere.
Would have liked another metre or two of the bumper strip at this RRP but, to give you a bit of peace of mind when you have a toddler in the house, this is an excellent product.
