I have had this for a bit under a year now, all in all it does a great job printing minis and that sort of thing. The quality is far superior than anything I was getting from fdm printers that far out cost it. If you’re looking to get into 3d printing miniatures, then I would say this is a good start.

    Simple and Brillia
My first foray into resin printing was with an Epax X1, for something built like a tank it lasted just over a year. One day it made a grinding noise and promptly died and the only way to get it running again according to Epax was to spend a few hundred to upgrade it as Epax didn’t make the components for the X1 anymore.

Enter Elegoo. I was a bit pensive at first of buying the Elegoo, BUT wow, it is half the price of the Epax, miles better print quality and faster too (z axis is still 0.005mm.)

The photo’s I’ve put up where my first print a 1/12 cyberpunk biker, using a mix of Elegoo ABS like clear and grey resin. I’m astonished with this printer. Prints that used to take 6/8 hours get done in 2.5/3 hours and as I said at a better quality.

It’s worked great for this larger sized figure and it works fantastic for 32mm minis too.

If you want a decent relatively cheap MSLA printer, you can’t gowrong with the mars pro 2

Fab machine, brill value for money.
This little printer is amazing, for sub 200 for a beginner to be able to turn out quality work straight out of the box, this thing is spot on. I’ve printed things that will fit on a 20p and things that fill the entire print plate, both have been super quality and super detailed.

Read the setup guide, level your plate properly, make sure you’re adding files in ctb. Format and off you go.
Chitubox can be a pain in the rear but persevere if you’re new.
The machine isn’t too noisey, it’s well built and solid. I’ve been using elegoo resins without any issues at all, haven’t had to adjust any settings either.
I only have one slight blip and that is that I cant get elegoo fep sheets for the pro anywhere so had to go aftermarket. These are a consumable so Elegoo really need to get on and remedy this.

Customer service from elegoo has been brilliant also as they have helped with a couple of queries without issue.

This is an outstanding printer for the price. It has a mono screen and is the same printer as the Pro with a couple of small exceptions.
I recommend getting this over the Pro 2 every day of the week.
Elegoo also has a fantastic customer service department.

Started my resin 3d printing with the elegoo Mars, amazing printer and very happy with it over all.

I continued buying the elegoo printers (mars 2 and saturns). I still have it printing my smaller parts, its really stood the test of time. Was also convenient as I can interchange the reisn trays with the mars 2 that I have so if you upgrade from mars to mars 2 you can still make use of the trays you would already have.

    Great machine
This is a great little machine. Really easy to set up and use as long as you are reasonably savvy. Very well built and solid. Easy to clean. Print quality is lovely for a 2k machine. Chitubox is a very easy, user friendly programme to slice and print from. Had it about a week now and very very impressed so far.

    Superb budget printe
An amazing printer, especially considering the sub-300 price tag. Minimal setup, great quality outputs (even for a beginner like myself) and backed with superb customer service from Elegoo if problems do arise. Would definitely recommend, although if I was to purchase now I’d probably opt for the Mars 2 Pro’s new bigger brother, the Saturn.

Great ‘small’ printer for SLA printing. I advise looking into all the support groups/forums/blog posts/youtube videos and you’re not likely to get 100% success straight off but once you crack it, it’s amazing!

Easy to use and great quality.
Very impressed with the quality and ease of use. Ideal for printing off Warhammer etc. scale miniatures and terrain. Smaller build volume, as is the case with resin printers vs other types but ideal for my use.

Make sure to download the latest version of the slicing software as the software included on the USB stick is a couple of versions older. Comes with plenty of accessories.

    Outstanding 3d Printe
I had been looking at 3d printers for several years and after some friends picked up Elegoo printers I thought it was time to take the plunge and purchase one for myself. Everyone I spoke to recommended Elegoo to me for their ease of use and quality of prints.
The printer was packed in completely secure packaging and came with a tool kit containing pretty much everything you needed to print models. The printer came with a quick start guide which explained simply how to level the printer and how to get started printing.
The printer is easy to use and easy to clean and the support from Elegoo with advice is excellent. Overall the printer is quiet and simple to use.

Just like the Mars but better. Faster, bigger build plate, silly rubber cover seal that keeps coming off, otherwise highly recommended.

This is my first resin printer and I have achieved excellent results printing miniature figures with this. As with all 3d printers, there is a bit of a learning curve around the print/process and how to arrange/orientate objects on the plate to get the best results but the Chitubox software presets for the printer work fantastically and the auto-support function seems to work very well.

Great prints, even better customer service
Prints in incredible detail, very quickly. If you’re looking to print miniatures (as opposed to prototype pieces that would be better suited to FDM), this is the perfect purchase. I had some issues with resin curing to the screen but this was sorted by customer service rapidly, and they even sent a replacement screen!

    Couple of notes:
    – Make sure you have good ventilation in the room the printer is in
    – Doesn’t come with resin so make sure to order your own, along with isopropyl for cleaning
    – Research what print settings to use before printing with a new resin, this will save you some failed prints
    – If you’re paranoid about resin leaking onto the screen, use a tablet screen protector to protect the LCD screen (just make sure it’s adhesive and has no blue light filter, etc…). I’ve not noticed a quality drop since installing, though it may cause a minor one.
    – A plastic razor will help with getting bits of cured resin of either LCD or tablet protecto

Incredible quality at an affordable price.
Despite this being my first foray into MSLA printing, I was able to get started printing almost immediately, and was blown away by the quality of prints, as well as the print speed, thanks to the mono LCD. The machine feels solid, with great build quality, and setting up the test print was straightforward.

If this is your first printer of any kind, there will be a learning curve (especially in the slicing software, and model optimisation), but there are plenty of helpful videos and discussion threads that will very likely answer most if not all of your questions. I highly recommend doing some light research (perhaps while you wait for delivery!), as it will certainly help in the long run. Another personal recommendation would be thorough resin tank cleaning after printing, which may sound tedious, but its a great habit to form, and will prevent print failures and damage.

Overall, a great printer, for a great price. Useful for printing mechanical prototypes, miniatures, jewelry, you name it.

Truly amazing piece of equipment. Seeing an object slowly emerge from a bath of grey goo is quite fantastic. Easy to set up, and print off the chessman test piece. It’s worth watching a few 3D printer demo videos on YouTube to learn about some of the tricks of the 3D printing trade, such as rafts and supports which make printing much easier and more reliable. They’ll also give you tips on the upkeep and maintenance of your printer. You can also pick up thousands of free (and paid for) printer files ready made. Sheer genius.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA workhorse SLA that won't break the bank.
After around 7 months of using this machine as part of my prop making business, I now feel comfortable writing a review that accurately represents the pros and cons of this printer.

This device is best described as ‘easy to learn, difficult to master’. Within 30 minutes of opening up the box, you will be able to start producing items with unparalleled detail and surprising complexity. I use this particular printer in conjunction with a standard FDM printer, allowing me to use the Elegoo Mars Pro to focus on designing and printing components accurately with exceptional detail.

Another massive benefit of this printer is the fantastic tech support that exists, both from Elegoo themselves, but also from the multitude of Facebook groups that exist specifically around this printer series. Any rare issue with hardware will happily be handled by Elegoo’s fantastic customer service department, and with such a huge online community, any software concern will easily be remedied.

The only con that exists around this machine is common to all SLA printers; that of health and safety. Resin is potentially dangerous to work with if you are not making efforts to protect yourself. Nitrile gloves and a respirator is necessary at the very minimum, educate yourself appropriately in how to handle resin safely at home, and this will never become an issue. In fact, due to the Mars Pro’s carbon filtration system, this particular device is much safer to handle than most competitors.

I cannot recommend this printer to you enough if you wish to print miniatures, hobby items, mechanical parts, or household tools.

    Happy printing!

Having never used a 3D Printer before, but being aware of the potential challenges, especially when you are needing to be careful with chemicals that are in liquid resin, I was somewhat scared. However I took my time, read the instructions carefully, looked at a few guides on YouTube, and successfully printed the test models. I have done loads in my first month of owning it.
One minor grumble, is there is no guide to how you use the software (Chitubox) – I got there in end with some help from other users.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am very impressed with the service team in how well they respond, own and deal with any problems.
This is my first foray into the world of 3D resin printing. There are an overwhelming number of 3d resin printers on the market, all of them making various claims on their ability to produce 3D resin prints. After a significant amount of research, I decided to go with the ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro.

This is one of the cheaper 3D resin printers on the market. While we often associate cheap with poor quality, this printer is an exception to this way of thinking. The build quality is superb, and the setup is straight forward. Other than fitting the gasket to the cover, there is no additional assembly required. Even the firmware was up to date. The instructions are easy to read and understand. Calibrating the build plate was simple and straight forward. As a complete novice, I had this printer working on a test print in 30 minutes.

A copy of the Chitubox slicing software came packaged on the included USB stick. Installing this on your computer opens up a whole world of 3D files that you can print and enjoy. The possibilities are endless and only limited by your own imagination.

I believe that the best way to judge a product is how well the manufacture respond when things go wrong. I managed to damage a part of the printer by accident. I contacted the support team at ELEGOO who responded to my email extremely quickly. With no fuss whatsoever they dispatched a new part immediately. It is on its way as we speak. I am very impressed with the service team in how well they respond, own and deal with any problems.

I like how this printer and the customer is well supported by ELEGOO. I also like the fact that it is repairable. Spare parts are available and ELEGOO has a range of instructional videos showing the user how to make repairs. I can see that I am going to enjoy my adventure into 3D printing with the ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro. I therefore highly recommend this printer.

Great printer from a great company
he vast majority of my prints are for miniatures, specifically the 40k universe. The level of detail this machine can produce is astounding easily matching and on occasion exceeding that produced by large companies. Pic of some included, my painting skill doesn’t do them full justice.

The machine is easy to setup and clean, I use Elegoo Water Washable resin which has been great although slight learning curve from colour to colour as properties change a little.

Every electrical item has a risk of problems and for me and the reason I leave this review is because its how a company handles your issue. Elegoo are top class.

My screen went within the first 100 hours of printing. Now I was disappointed and expected to be told that screens are a consumable part and will need replaced and jog on. At the time writing Mars 2 Pro screens are out of stock everywhere. Elegoo apologised for the shorter than expected life, and arranged to have a screen sent from China, tracked to the UK, and as a gesture also a fresh bottle of resin.

Thanks Macey at Elegoo for your help. Had you handled it differently this would be a very different review.

Marvellous print quality and easy to use
I came to this with experience of filament printing.
This printer is easy to set up and use, especially with the water-washable resin (which I use).
The product itself appears to be well constructed and well presented in secure protective packaging.
Setup is straightforward, as is preparing to print, and the instructions are well thought out and easy to follow.
The test pieces are small chess pieces and take around 2 and a half hours to print, and the print quality is very impressive indeed.
The print area is not large, and I would have preferred the Saturn model which has a slightly larger footprint, but those are not readily available (and are much more expensive), but I plan to use this Mars Pro 2 to print many of the smaller items currently printed on the filament printer, as the quality is much better. I used the water-washable resin which doesn’t smell too strongly. Clean up is easy.
    I thoroughly recommend this product.

This is my first ever resin printer had it just over 3 weeks and it’s amazing I’m able to get really good quality prints straight away just got to follow the instructions and videos on YouTube on levelling and it’s best to use the same brand of resin as the printer I’m definitely getting another 1or2 can’t print things quick enough lol

Dream machine, and dream customer service.
This machine is just brilliant. Straight out the box, very easy to set up and start printing. The Elegoo facebook page is full of help, hints and tips should you get stuck or need help with anything. But you will be an accomplished resin 3D printer in a short space of time. Just make sure you have your cleaning products to hand and routine down as clean up can be a little messy until you find your flow, but that is down to resin printing in general. This machine just makes the who process so much easier. For the price it is mind blowing and i am already saving for the Elegoo Saturn.
As for the customer service…… If only all companies had Elegoo’s customer service the world would be a happier place. After over 19 months of use i had worn the screw heads on teh resin tank when replacing the FEP sheet. I contacted Elegoo just to ask what screws i need to look for to buy replacements. Not only did i get a response within 24hrs and my question answered, but they then asked for my postal address and told me they would send me replacements screws free of charge…. WOW! Not something i expected for having owned the machine for nearly 2 years. But other than the the screw heads wearing out (which isn’t that suprising) this machine is still working and pumping out prints as reliable and as good as the day it first printed. Thank you Elegoo for making resin printing fun and affordable. Can’t wait to get the Saturn.

    Fantastic for beginners
1)Turned up VERY fast and very well packaged
2)once you figure out the set up which isn’t hard and if need be there is all ways trusty YouTube your ready to print in less than 30 mins
3)fantastic for beginners and a good price

The only thing I would like to see is a tweek to the design and have a door on the front rather than the bucket style lid as it would take up less space then
It would also be nice to have a sample bottle of resin say maybe 100gram bottle just enough to be able to print the test model

I did have a major problem as my fep film burst while printing I contacted elegoo and I was STUNNED the response was fantastic and very fast I can not fault elegoo when I upgrade my printer I will be getting another elegoo product for sure

This is my first 3D printer and it’s great! Very easy to set up and get going, and really good print quality. I’m mostly printing miniatures for dioramas and the level of detail it can produce is amazing.
Elegoo’s customer service is also fantastic. There was a minor fault when it arrived (nothing major, little electrical thing, didn’t stop me using the printer) and within 24 hours of the printer arriving Elegoo had helped me identify the issue and posted replacement parts. 10/10!!!

Shallow learning curve, unpack it and start printing.
I love this printer. From the outset it has been easy to use, intuitive and straightforward. The slicer software is easy to use and the setup instructions are clear, giving reliable results from the outset. The only surprise was that the resin is susceptible to low temperatures, and putting the printer out in the garage in December was a Bad Idea as it gave less reliable results. Bringing it into the warm of the office cured that, and it turned out that I didn’t need to clean the printer after every print so the smell of the IPA cleaning fluid didn’t get too bad (or too frequent).
I can’t recommend this printer enough. It’s quick, quiet, easy to use – thanks Elegoo for a great product. I’m now thinking about buying the larger Saturn model.

The instructions are very clear and easy to use. The machine isn’t overly loud, and the smell isn’t too strong compared to other printers I’ve encountered.

    Great printer, great service.
I’ve been spending a small fortune using a printing service and chose resin and a Mars 2 Pro to print at home.

After a couple of days trying different settings on small prints I was getting great results (its all about balancing height, cross sectional area, supports and angle so that unwanted resin doesn’t ‘hang around’ and become part of your model).

I did have an issue with the printer on a firmware upgrade, but Elegoo support was superb and sorted my problem, so I’m not deducting any stars for that, in fact, it’s what made it 5 star for me.

The printer is better than I expected, but was working fine until an upgrade. Sure, I would have preferred it to work, but I’m happier knowing that support is excellent than wondering what it would be like if I hit a problem in a year’s time. Thanks Elegoo!

Great printer, once shoddy QC issue sorted (tl;dr - dodgy USB socket required fix)
Out of the box, my printer fired up fine. Went through the motions of levelling bed and checking the lcd etc. Installed the tank, filled it with resin and plugged in the USB stick ready to print the rook test piece. This is where it started to go wrong.

The stick was fine – read perfectly well on my laptop. But clicking on the file icon on the printer failed to open any file structure from the stick. Wiggling the stick around and applying upward pressure would – occasionally) give me some access and the sticks led would flash. Obviously there was something amiss with the printers USB socket. No bent pins inside… Loose internal connector? I took the front part of the printer off, and saw that there is a small daughter card attached to the front of the printer. It is attached to the main main board by a standard usb lead, with a bit of hot glue on it to stop it from creeping out.

This was fine, no issue there. Looking more closely at the socket the memory sticks plug into revealed the issue. Half of the surface mount pads on the socket hadn’t been soldered… how did this pass quality control?! Rather than go through the pain of getting a return sorted out, I fixed it myself as I had the tools to do so. But I wonder how many more printers have had this issue and have been returned as dead on arrival?

Once fixed, printer reads memory sticks fine, and the test print worked fine. More than fine – it came out incredibly well. So what would have been a 5 star review is marked down due to a niggly issue that shouldn’t have seen the outside of the factory.

    Perfect for beginners
As a beginner to 3D printing I did a lot of background research into the best printer for learning with. I have a friend who runs a business and he suggested the Mars 2 as a great starter and he wasn’t wrong.

There is a wealth of support and tutorials online aswell as a great community on discord and Facebook.

The Elegoo Facebook group is also extremely helpful and often run competitions to win great prizes.

I would also recommend looking at Patreon for a wealth of companies that supply high quality high resolution stl files. This printer is more than capable of printing high quality.

The only downside is the size, but that’s what makes it perfect to learn with, once you’ve become more competent I would suggest moving up in size which is what I plan to do.

Excellent Value Resin Printer (please read if you are unsure about buying one)
This is a brilliant entry level priced Resin Printer with excellent print quality. I dont recommend this for anyone expecting something that works just using auto settings and a press of a button. This pretty much goes for all resin printers I think but something that needs to be considered before making a purchase.

If you dont know much about them, do your research (as I did) and make sure your happy with the workflow required to make a successful print. You need more than just resin. Nitrile gloves, a resin wash of some description (IPA, Meths or water depending on availability and resin used) and a Curing solution. I have a IPA wash bath, water bath and a curing station. This works for me as a cheaper option.

If a print fails to adhere to the build plate chances are it will be stuck to the FEP and that really is a PITA. Best solution is to soak VAT in IPA for atleast 1hr but longer if you can to release the print from FEP. This would get frustrating after a short while so I cant stress enough the importance of researching the right settings for your print. Its not like a FDM where you see a print fail immediately with a resin, you normally have to wait a good 30mins before you either see a print on the build plate or not.

Things to help maintain print success – longer bottom exposure times for larger prints (70-75s), dry ptfe lube film on fep film and a film of resin spread over the build plate.

Aside from that and after my first couple of failed prints. (due to improper slicer settings for size of print) Its working very reliably.

Overall, this resin printer is excellent value with no real faults for its price. I am very happy with this printer, great no nonsense touch screen works great, solid build with inclusion of Z Axis linear rail.. It could do with the internal fan being a bit quieter and in hindsight a cabinet style enclosure instead of the over top hood would have been better for me personally. Then the only other thing which I felt was worthwhile doing as a mod (20-30 on top) was to install a Flexi plate. If you do this you will also need the spacer to modify the z height to make this work. Thingiverse part #4609740

If you dont mind the potential challenges/workflow of using a resin printer you cant go far wrong with the Mars 2 mono.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBlown away by the quality!
I have plenty of 3D printing experience under my belt when it come to filament printers, but I held off going near Resin printers until now.

This is so easy to level and use compared to a filament printer. The quality is amazing!

If you have never used a 3d printer before then there will be a learning curve. You will need to learn how to slice and hollow your models. It’s not that hard and you can download the software before you buy to get some practice in.

The Resin smells! No avoiding it even with the filter. It is not as strong smelling as epoxy Resin, but it’s not great. I have moved it to the loft. Problem solved.

Format the USB stick. I have had one failed print so far due to that messing up, but since formatting it I have had no issues.

If you need small highly detailed prints buy this printer.

I bought this with some of the water washable resin and a mylee UV nail cureing station. I’ve never used a 3d printer in my life but set up as per instructions did’nt even bother with the test print and grabbed a file from thingiverse. It just worked, seen reviews with people having multiple failed prints wich I can only assume meant they did’nt set it up properly. The first print was great at 0.04 and scaled to 30mm, the only problem was I used supports that were to thick for the models I printed so I lost a few fingertips, but lesson learnt. For less than 300 for the whole setup its excellent value and can’t wait to bang some more creations out and hopefully be able to get into designing my own.

Great product, does what you want it to do. Pretty easy to use and set up. I recommend disconnecting the extraction fan though (not the heat lamp fan though ) and covering the chamber vent holes with tape. Otherwise you will end up with a horrible resin smell the entire time it’s running.

Great little printer for detail work
Its taken a little bit of time to get it configured to print high quality and the learning curve is quite steep.
There are plenty of great tutorials on youtube, and some very active facebook groups full of helpful advice.
Expect your first 3/4 prints to fail as you dial in the machine.
The print settings depend on all kinds of things, temperature, resin etc so be prepared for trial and error.
I have consistently had good prints after the first few failures.

This is the first 3D printer I have ever owned (SLA or FDM) and I can honestly say it has been a breeze to use. Very simple UI, very simple setup, very fast prints.

The mono screen apparently makes lasts much longer than the other type and also lowers the exposure time required for each layer. The only thing I would like to see is a 4K screen as opposed to a 2K screen, but the 2K screen here is absolutely amazing. The only issues with prints I’ve had are due to my own learning process.

    Blew away all my doubts
After the first test print I was like “what, can 3D printer actually do that?”
Print quality is really good, speed is fair.

I’d also like to share my doubts, that were not all about this specific printer, but in general about resin 3D print.

I was afraid of the smell.
This printer has filters and you can barely feel any smell while it prints. When you remove the cover, the resin does smell, but it’s absolutely acceptable.

    Dimensions.
This printer only occupies a small surface. It’s about 40cm tall, and 20×20 width/height. I live in a small apartment and I found a spot very easily.

    Curing process.
    It’s easy.
I bought a washable resin so I could use tap water: results are great and I found very little residue in the water.
I am also using a small uv torch, and so far I am happy with speed and quality of results.

    Washing the machine.
No big deal. First, you can put back basically all the residual resin in the bottle (which is a good thing as it’s quite expensive). Second, I could clean tank, head and accessories very easily with soapy water.

    Overall
Very happy with this printer. Great value for money!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy first 3D printer. Resin or not resin, that is the question....
OK, so this is my first 3D printer.
This means I have no comparison but also it means if I say this has been a good experience then as a first printer is is likely to be a good one.
I read may reviews and went down many directions of research before I took the plunge into this printer.
My decision making was based on cost, as I didn’t know if I would be able to get into this and if it was a fail I was afraid of spending a fortune and losing too much. Another factor was either make it easy, FDM or more complex, resin. I don’t know what filament printing is like but the attraction to resin, due to it’s very detailed and smooth finish lured me this way.
The Mars 2 had no reviews at the time of purchase, so I was taking a big risk but the Mars and Mars 2 pro were well received so I hoped Elegoo made the Mars 2 somewhere in between. I have no comparison but I can say I am not disappointed.
My test print was perfect, the rook. I then tried another print which I downloaded the .stl file for and that went well. I did have to realise (learn) that .stl files needed to be put through the slicer in the Chitubox software to convert them to .ctb files before they could print 🙂 but all went well once I head read the support forums and realised my lack of understanding.
In terms of resin printing., I was concerned about all the talk of cleaning, disposal, filtering of IPS cleaner and the consumables which would be required to use resin rather than filament. I have to say it has not been anything like I had imagined after watching many YouTube videos on resin printing. Yes there is more to think about but it is as simple as print, clean it and then cure it.
Don’t throw the IPS (Alcohol cleaner) down the drain, filter it and re-use it. It’s not that hard to be honest.
You do need a lot of paper towels and gloves though, that’s for sure.

All in all the printer has been a great introduction to resin printing. I am very happy with the results and not anywhere near as worried about handling the prints, cleaner and resins as I was from watching YouTube. Common sense a lot of it.

In summary, as I said I have no comparison but my experience with this and considering the price range it is in has been a great one and I am now well into 3D printing.

I also bought the Mercury clean and cure unit. This is perfect although I have mostly used it just to cure as I have printed quite small prints up to now, so brush and metal tray was enough.

I highly recommend buying additional resin trays as you can then keep the different coloured resin in these trays and simply swap them around according to the colour you want. Of course this costs but worth it when you can. I can have clear resin in one tray and grey in another and simply swap out the trays. This lessens the resin cleaning and mess which comes with it :).
If you can’t do this then the paint filters to pour the resin back in the bottle works fine.

Pro’s; Quiet, easy, USB at the front, good forum support with Q&A’s and not a bad start point price.
Con’s; Not having anything to compare too this is hard. Power switch at the back.

Recommendations; Get lot’s of paper towels, nitrile gloves, Alcohol (IPA) cleaner, a cleaning tray, paint brushes to brush down the prints when cleaning, a UV curing light or cleaning station, additional resin trays with lids.

Well I think that is about it. I’m happy and I hope this helps others make the leap.

I couldn’t make my mind up whether I wanted to go for a cheap FDM or SLA. For some reason I went with SLA but I regretted it pretty quickly. I have a small house and the smell from the UV curing ink is bad and I kept tasting it now and again, even though I was wearing gloves when handling the prints. Generally SLA is just messier than FDM. Since then I’ve bought the Creality and it’s performed much better than this. I will say that I think it’s phenomenal that you can buy an SLA printed for less than 200. After messing around with the supports using the software and then taking the plunge and roughing up the build plate with a bit of sandpaper, the prints stuck without issue. It took me a good few tries. After taking a 4 week break I returned to the printer, removed the resin tray and the lcd screen came with it, breaking the ribbon. I thought I’d just lost 200 but you can actually replace the parts so that’s another positive. I’ve given 4 stars because I know how difficult it must have been to get this product out so cheaply. Well done guys and I’m still happy I bought it, SLA offers more detail than FDM so now I have both!

    Elegoo Mars Pro 2 mono
I had a Mars Pro before but the Mono is definitely faster than the regular one. Still you’ll need a good ventilation to remove the odour but results of the prints are impressive. I do recommend this printe

    Awesome machine
Amazing machine – first foray into 3D printers for me and it couldn’t have gone better.
Incredibly simple to set up and get going, had my first print out same-day.
Little bit of learning to do regarding the physics of printing, but there’s loads of videos online that can help although there are masses of ‘ready to print’ files available too – Love it!!
