The golden rule of espresso
A cup of 30 ml of coffee was extracted in 35 seconds at a temperature of 92 degrees. At this time, the taste of coffee is the best. Therefore, we recommend that you choose to mix coffee beans and grind them into fine coffee powder. If you use the double cup function, add 16 grams of coffee powder to the filter and 9 grams to the single cup function.
Three key points:
- 1. Use a hot towel to wipe the steam pipe in time to avoid milk agglomeration affecting the use of the milk frother.
- 2. Preheat the machine before using it! after the light turns green, you need to let the hot water flow continuously for 20 seconds, so that the funnel and the whole pipe can reach 95 degrees. Let the hot water run for 20 seconds and the preheating is complete. After preheating the machine , remove the funnel and put ground coffee to start making coffee. Without this step, the first cup of coffee would not have reached 95 degrees! Because the funnel and the entire pipe are cold before preheating.
- 3. Pour out the water in the tray in time to avoid water spills that wet the tabletop.

Very slow to heat up each time i used it.
Our old coffee machine gave up just before Xmas so needed new one and this time wanted proper coffee machine but for affordable price. After looking for some time we bought this coffee machine and been using it daily to make 4+ cups of coffee, mainly cappuccino. As u can see it makes very nice fluffy milk, just how we like it. Good size so doesn’t take much space on the counter. In general it’s easy to use, but my advice -read manual first if you never had one of these. Cleaning doesn’t take much time, we clean properly after each use. Coffee comes nice. Only one thing that it could be hotter (personally I prefer boiling hot). Husband drinks espresso coffee now and then and he said its taste good too. We using lavazza coffee by the way and there is no aftertaste. Pressure is good too for home use coffee machine.
Bought as an upgrade for the Missus whose a coffee snob. Replaced her older and cheaper one also bought from Amazon. Anne is very happy with it.
This machine is great, actually steams really well and gets hot enough for long enough to do what you need to, unlike other machines I tried
I checked other expensive brands before stopping at this one and I must confess price was one of the reasons I decided to try it initially.
I didn’t give it much credit when it arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised once I started using it.
The machine is easy to use and clean if you use the instructions provided and the coffee tastes amazing. I love the milk frother as I am a latte lover and this is the best feature this machine has, if you ask me.
Definitely worth the money
This machine makes fabulous Espresso Coffee. We have our coffee black so I’ve only used the steamer/frother to test it – seems to work ok. Very happy with my purchase.

Got this expresso coffee machine for mum for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. It has a 20 bar pump which makes the coffee so flavoured. It has multifunction so she can make expresso, lattes and macchiato coffees either single or double cup. It’s easy to clean and use, price is not too bad as it seems to be good quality. Mum is really happy with it.
Good value for money bit of a learning curve involved but once you gain experience coffee is great!
I’m still getting to know my way around about making descent hot coffee
It’s a standing joke in our household that I make bad coffee on purpose, just to avoid making it for anyone else. (For the record, I don’t).
However, like most people, I do enjoy a nice cup of coffee. It’s just that too others, I don’t seem to be able to make it how they like it.
So it was with some trepidation and anticipation that I took delivery of the Fimei Pressure Coffee Maker.
I know NOTHING about these types of things, so it’s taken me a wee while to be comfortable enough with the machine to write this review.
I read the instructions as I do with most things before unboxing, and to be honest, once I actually looked at the picture and learned what the different parts were called, the rest was super easy!
This Coffee Machine is easy to use, for anyone like me who is buying for the first time. I suppose for others who have used such a machine, they are all easy enough to use.
I don’t like espresso, far too strong for my liking, but my friend who is a bit of a Coffee Expert in my eyes, assures me this machine made him a lovely espresso. I simply put the coffee in, filled the water tank and followed the instructions.
Voila! No problem.
For my Good Lady and myself, we needed to add milk, so a Latte was the order of the day.
I would follow some of the recommendations made in the instructions and add a few tips of my own (actually my friends advice too) –
Warm the machine through before adding coffee
Warm your cup prior to making the drink of your choice

I’ve been enjoying posh coffees all week now that I’ve gotten used to this machine.
Pros –
It’s easy to use
Versatile
Compact
Easy to clean
Easy to store
Cons – none that I could find, to be honest.
If I had to find a negative point, it would only be that some of the (English Language) instructions could be improved slightly, as they were slightly open to interpretation.
Beyond that, this is a great little machine for enjoying great tasting espressos, Lattes, Macchiatos, and Cappuccinos.
It’s also versatile enough with the steam attachment to make great Hot Chocolate and Tea beverages.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this product based on it’s versatility and price.

The machine however does have a handle that is a little tricky to move in and out of position, So i worked around this by oiling the metal on the handle and carefully moving it back and forth until it had been loosened enough to use. It’s still a little stiff, But i can overlook this as the price is much more affordable compared to other overpriced espresso machines.
So far, Every cup has been delicious and gives me the same quality of espresso that i would normally pay for by the cup.
Firstly I like that it has a removable water tank to fill. You can only fit a cup underneath not a mug. You have to hold the machine when locking in the filter as it’s very stiff and you have to press the button to stop the water as there is no cut off but the coffee came out with a lovely creamy top.
Milk frother takes a bit of time to get milk warmed up but it’s like using a proper coffee machine. We do have a milk frother machine which we will probably keep using but it’s a good little coffee machine but I wouldn’t pay nearly 100 for it considering the points made above.
I confess to finding the machine a little daunting as it seemed to have an awful lot going on under the bonnet what with, a milk frother, two independent thermostats, 1.2 litre detachable water tank and a professional 20 bar pressure pump for Cappuccino Latte. However, after following the included manual which gently marched me through the priming procedure; within 15 minutes I was ready to attempt my first coffee.
9 inches in width, 10 in depth and at a height of 12 inches, the Fimei fits into a relatively small footprint and certainly doesn’t encroach on my kitchen worktop; in fact it looks very much at home there. There’s also a height maximum for your espresso cup or whatever vessel you intend to use when dispensing your favourite brew, which cannot exceed around 3 inches tall although, on saying that, two cups can be filled side by side.
Full instructions are given in the included 10 page manual and even if you’ve never made an espresso or cappuccino or frothed milk for the latter in your life, this simple guide will walk you through the whole process, from priming the equipment to brewing temperature to making your favourite coffee. This is also a very easy to clean product with a removable drip tray allowing access to the base of the unit to soak up any drip.
In summary, I’m absolutely delighted with, not only the looks of this coffee maker, but in the simplicity of its operation. If you get the grinding of the coffee beans just right (I’m no expert, so for me it was experimentation and you tube) the Fimei Espresso maker will deliver you an extremely tasty coffee.
I would definitely recommend this product.
