We needed a couple of chairs for our balcony and to use inside occasionally when entertaining beyond our normal seating capacity. We ended up spending a little more than planned to get these chairs but they are well worth it. Quite comfortable, very sturdy and easy to fold to move inside or out as needed. Well worth the price.

Comfy but quite bulky
I got this to use in the garden and on the beach but it is quite bulky to carry around. It is light enough, but the padding on the chair means it is about twice the size (when folded) of other chairs I have used. I think I will return it and look for something more suitable. Unlike some of the other reviews, the bag I received is easily big enough for the chain – in fact it is quite baggy in some places.
It is fairly comfortable – with the exception being the head support. The back does come up high enough, but the middle of the head piece sinks backwards, meaning your head is then mis-aligned if you leav on it. It could do with less padding on the main part of the seat and more on the headrest.
The thickness of the material and comfort padding makes it hard to close tight enough without a very strong pair of hands and the use of Bungees. Even then it is bulky at the top…. It will never go in a bag again.
Comfortable large picnic chai
Most folding picnic chairs are small and not very comfortable. This is a bit larger, higher backed and with convenient cup holders and phone/ipad holder.

Nice chair!
This chair is way better than the cheap, supermarket equivalents. The lumbar support is somewhat questionable (I’m 6ft2″), but otherwise it’s a very sturdy chair and doesn’t feel like it’s straining with my weight whatsoever (16 stone). Great chair overall.

Great chai
Bought for my dad who has disabilities. It was ideal for him and with the high back it kept his head up too. I used it another time and is really comfortable. Only issue is where to keep it, as it’s big.
Perfect for the larger ge
I spent years with cheap foldable picnic chairs I bought in local supermarkets. Most would rip, buckle or fold underneath my weight. Took a chance on this chair and Look, if like me you’re heavy, just get this chair. It’s perfect for camping or just chilling in the back garden.

Its built really well, can seem a bit flimsy if you push quite hard. But iv never been worried about it breaking

Excellent chair , compact and easily assembled. Probably would have helped if the carrying handle had some padding around the part that goes over the shoulder, when carrying a distance to the beach ..but I’m sure I can sort tha

Great wider fit sturdy chair for us more ample sized people – I took it to download and it was easy to transport and use. I have medical conditions which mean I can’t walk/stand for long and it was perfect. Used for full five days heavily and is still like brand new. Would fully recommend.
It's tall!
Great chair, but taller than other fold up camping chairs I have had in the past and heavier, hence the 4 stars.
Having said that, it is very comfortable and much better for your posture as not a low down, so much easier to get up and out of. My partner has a back problem and found it very comfortable.
Sturdy and comfy
Really pleased with the quality and stability of the chair. Have searched for a while to find a substantial one that you can sit in and get out of easily with confidence. Easy to put up. It folds well back into its carry case. Yes it weighs 1.5kg more than cheaper more flimsy ones, but that’s fine given the quality. I’ll carry it knowing I can have the most comfortable portable seat on the beach.
Perfect for the larger perso
Had a few camping chairs in the past that were always cheap supermarket ones. So they were never made to hold heavier people & you can tell, even after a few uses, they start to get flimsy.
This new chair is so worth the money. It’s very comfy, the cup holder is thick and cushioned with a small drainage hole at the bottom.
There’s a side pocket big enough for your phone, wallet, keys &/or rubbish. The seat and back are slightly thicker than your average chair giving more comfort. The arms are nice and large.
I can’t find any faults with this chair. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

I need a Nero
Fantastic F1 chair, very robust, easy to fold and unfold in a timely fashion. It is very comfortable, wide and sturdy enough to hold a lovely Nero or 6.90 F1 Heinekan Pint of ale. It went and got tested in all weather’s ranging from wet to sandstorm weather. Very impressive chair. Thank you .
Three times as much as the cheapest, though worth paying more for the comfort and relaxation.. Even the arm rests are flat and designed for laying arms on and getting the sun. Nice head rest too, which folds back when not needed ( not sure if that’s part of the design ) Overall was a good buy…
I’m 6″5 and in the late 20 stones so I was nervous to buy a chair for my fishing as I thought I’d go straight through it.
But wow, I sit in this and I feel like I’m sat on a fully solid steel bench no weakness what so ever not shakiness just perfect. Nice and high too, as mentioned with me being pretty tall low chairs actually hurt my knees to get off from as the angle is just all wrong for me.
I’ve not used this extensively yet just tried it out at home but I have no worries at all on how good it will be.
Yes it’s a bit expensive for a chair but I know at my size if I buy cheap I’ll buy twice but with this chair I don’t see it failing me!

The chairs are great – however, like a previous customer, only 1 of my 2 chairs were delivered. This was rectified by the supplier but it took time to sort and the second chair wasn’t sent next day PRIME like the first.

Very sturdy and promises to last longer than the usual much cheaper chair. Comfortable to sit in. Quite a bulky bag to carry but then it is a proper chair.

I didn’t purchase because I needed a heavy duty chair. Someone I know bought as she is larger and needed a big chair. I got injured and she offered me her chair during a hockey match and it was the most comfortable chair I’d ever sat inin terms of camping chairs.
It has a high back, and it’s just really comfortable. Is certainly recommend

Pair of chairs ordered, one arrived. I contacted sellers who were brilliant. They investigated and found Amazon had split the order and only delivered one. They kept me informed and immediately sent me a replacement. The chairs themselves are sturdy and comfortable, the high backs allow you to snuggle into the chair and rest your head. The cup holder and side pocket are very handy. Five stars for the Timber team, one star for Amazon.

I needed a chair I could be comfortable in with head and neck support so tried this. It is great. Spent a whole evening at a family bbq celebration and no issues afterwards. I have neck & shoulder issues amongst other things and this chair really helped support me. Easy to get in and out of as well. Putting it back in its bag was fun but sure I will get the knack eventually.

I liked this chair, comfy, light to carry , easy to collaspe etc .. but I found the seat low , so can be difficult to get out of if you are larger and have a bad knee. this was a disapointment to me as my friend has a different brand that is higher in the seat area much easier to get out of. But other than that I can not complain so far! I need to use it more to test the quality and how long it will last , as it only gets used on my short breaks away.

This chair is really good I used it once on Sunday 2nd May and when folding it up the next day noticed that handle cover now had a hole where the screw/nut has come through it!! I want the chair but can you do something about this problem please?
This is probably most expensive camping chair on amazon, almost double the price of other higher rated chairs, however trying most of them it’s worth every penny, and from comfort side nothing comes even close. it’s a bit bulky I must admid and it’s not a chair you carry around on your hikes, however if you travelling in car or camper this is the best you can have. i think it’s really worth the price
