Make sure you only order this item for delivery do not have other items delivered on same day. I had 2 small items on one delivrry on the monday and this saw on anothdr delivefy on this monday. And on amazon app was down as 2 deliveries.. so the man delivered the 2 small items.rangdoor bell and i open door as he put them on my door step. I said thanks but did not ssk whrre is the saw as it atated on sep delivery. Took 2 parcels in home then my phone ponged and the amazon app informs me all 3 delivery parcels now delivered. Sorry no only 2. Ran out door and he had gone. Right rig marole gdtting another one sorted for delivery and had to wait two more days. As amaxon not able to gdt depot to ring driver to come back with parcel. So got the saw today. Will take some time to set up and afjust things to how you want ghem. But one design is so bad. The rip gaurd or crown gaurd. Is so flimsy and unable to tighten up enough to stop it moving from side to side and chance of it hitting the bladem so i fitted a big washer on the fixing bolt. Made it a bit better. U will need to reset blade as slight out of square. The hose connection the are 3. One on crown and 2 at back of saw. Just use one on the back ss crown one no effect at all but one on back does remove about 70 percent of dust but still get some dust on floor. And the guide u ajust and run hour timber along next to blade a slight bit of movement there. So add a longer metal strip or wood and clamp on bogh ends will work ok. I have not used ghe fedt ss far go flimsy for me so i will make a solid wood stand for it and screw it to that stand instead. So apart ffom those minor issues the saw is quite good and not as loud as my circular saw. Ah o e last thing u have to screw to screws in in plastic plate under the saw blade. Right job if u do not have a small screwdriver. Yes you will need a small spaner as well. So yes saw ok but a bit over priced with some monor design issues. But ok for wat i need it for.

Having faffed about with a rotary saw, straight edges, clamps etc. etc. I finally decided to upgrade to a table saw.
The deciding factor was having 80 sheets of hardboard to cut and I’m so glad I did.
Yes, it’s a little bit fiddly to assemble and does take an hour or so but it’s worth the effort.
Some reviews I have seen refer to plastic fasteners, but there were none on my example; there were all steel nuts and bolts. Tip – after assembly go round the machine again and check all the nuts and bolts are tight, it’s easy to miss one or two and it makes a big difference to the rigidity.
Getting the fence set perfectly parallel to the blade is essential to getting straight and accurate cuts; this is clearly explained in the instructions but I found YouTube tutorials easier to follow.
Other reviews complain about the fence being ‘wobbly’, again mine isn’t so makes you wonder if they had tightened it properly.
Once set up as per the instructions this saw makes cutting timber a genuine pleasure, you find yourself looking round for things to cut on it. Considering the price I would recommend it without reservation.
And just to be clear, I have no connection to Evolution Power Tools and I paid the full retail price.

For the price I have to say it’s better than I had expected and than previous reviews I’d read.
Something that seems to be a common feature, people reporting damage when their brand new table saw arrives, this was also the case for me, some deep scratches on the extensions and body parts.
Very simple to construct and out of the box it’s pretty damn accurate.
People had reported that the multi mat cutting blade doesn’t/ didn’t cut totally clean, well I’ve been cutting near 2″ thick hardwood ply sheets, 4″ hardwood planks, they are straight, true and clean, this may change as the blade dulls just like any blade.
The fence has been a complaint area, it is short and really should lock both sides of the table, but after I used a level and straight edge, I tightened the screws holding the fence to the guide run and it’s been perfect, no movement and I haven’t had to clamp a plank behind it yet either.
Dust extraction is pretty decent, I dare say would be even better if I had my dust extractor hoover attached not a standard hoover.
Blade guard can be a pain in the ass, I marked a straight line from the side of the blade to edge of table to help with lineup and works great.
It’s stable and sturdy with work on it and thus far done everything I’ve wanted from it, so I’m happy

Good value for money and is perfectly adequate for DIY and light commercial use. Not sure if it falls into the catagory of ‘double insulated’, ie, not requiring an earth, so I have added one to the tabletop. The blade inset plate is/was plastic; I have replaced it with a purpose made steel plate, because it had too much play. I use the saw for small section intricate work – which is also the reason I have cut down the riving knife, so I can cut rebates and grooves. Overall: quite pleased with it, definately worth the money.

  23. ElsaRector says:

Good little table saw easy to put together. The rip fence is a little on the small side and can have a wobble, care is needed. The riving knife was not square at the top of the blade so only the lower half is safe but covers most of the stock i cut just unable to use it for any dados.

My first table saw, and I’m reasonably pleased with it. After a bit of setting up, it gives acceptable cuts, way better than I could do my hand, and easier than my track. I’m not that impressed with the stand, took a bit of building and the supplied bolts aren’t great. But for me, the worst part is removing the stand when it is not needed, not a simple or quick job. I am impressed with the Evolution blade ( I have their circular saw too) , it gives nice cuts and cuts everything I’ve thrown at it.

Good versatile saw. Not difficult to assemble but takes time. Have used it for a month now and no problems. It does not fold away and it takes a lot of storage space. The fence on my supplied unit would not fit and I discovered it had been incorrectly assembled by the factory. Easy to fix but a bit annoying. The pack of hardware supplied was 4 screws and 4 nuts short which was REALLY annoying. Was in a rush to do a job so made it work. Having said that, its a good table saw and I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this table saw back in March 2018, I was really pleased with it. I recently noticed that I had a problem with the power switch . I phoned the helpdesk number supplied and the technical advisor was most helpful and knew what the problem was from my description. They offered to send a new switch if I was happy to fit it myself or they would pick it up and fix it and send it back.. I chose the 2nd option, they picked up the table saw (minus legs and extensions etc.) the next day and returned it 2 days later all working properly for free. You only know how good a company is when things go wrong and this company’s customer service is great .

After debating for a long while I decided to give in and buy one, great decision. Works really well and I’m very pleased. The only issues I have are that the mitre gauge is a bit wobbly, so just needs practice. I’d prefer the riving knife if it was smaller (have to remove it for certain cuts). As I don’t use a vac, the case fills up with sawdust so I have to keep opening it up to empty. Other than that, I’d say it’s well worth the purchase as I have more tools by evolutio

I dont do alot of wood work realy so this being my first saw i purchased this due to the price point over the bigger rage variant and in honesty as a home tinkerer just making little boxes and the like i find its very good. Plenty of power a good amount of adjustability in height etc. My only comments as to dislikes would be that the fence is poor in as it only locks one end its easy to move a few mill and mess a cut up. And also the mitre guide supplied is all abit here an there aswell. Other than that it appears well made and the assembly can be acheived in around 20/30 min fairly easily. Not a bad buy for the home user.

For the price, this saw is excellent value, cuts through 2 inch worktop no problems, blade rated to cut steel, so not so many worries hitting a screw or nail. My only 2 criticisms are that it took me about an hour to construct (great if you like Meccano), and in one piece it’s quite bulky to move. (folding legs like a workmate would be a massive bonus).
Apart from that, it is a really useful bit of kit.

Liked most of the saw except the blade guard which is rubbish. It will not lift up when feeding your timber to the cutter. Had to lift the guard manually to let the timber to the blade which is not very safe or practical. Ended up swapping it for my old saw guard.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAs a keen DIY-er I find this saw works well, the adjustable blade height and angled cuts are both useful features. The fence is not bad, it clamps down ok making accurate cuts possible.

My main issue though is the saw was clearly second-hand, (see images on unboxing). Amazon direct you to Evolution who said it was “transit damage” and tell you to contact Amazon. Being treated like a chump is annoying, but the saw works well and I had a pressing job to do so I’ll have to live with it.

Item arrived as stated, didn’t take long to assemble, although found it a bit frustrating having to unscrew nuts that I had previously done up to fit another part to that spot as well. All in all great looking saw, bit bigger than I expected but see that as a bonus, can’t wait to try it out.
As a side note for anyone getting one of these, when you open the box to check parts, don’t do as I did and think that the nuts and bolts were missing, just flip the saw over and you will find a brown box secured under table by the saw itself

I am an enthusiastic amateur wood worker, and use a lot of recycled timber. The ability to shave long lengths of timber to a fair degree of accuracy has saved me a lot of planer blades and sand paper for the belt sander, and oh so much time.
A really strong motor, accurate cutting (any inaccuracies are more my fault than the saw’s), and the extraction of dust and bits on it is outstanding. The blade is an Evolution ‘pretty much cuts anything’ blade, so nails and screws left in the timber are no issue.
Assembly was a bit long winded, but once done – brilliant.
I must stress though that I am an amateur – I can imagine that constant daily use might require something a little more ‘expensive’, but for me – perfec

There are lots of reviews on here. Some good some terrible.

I am a hobbyist who just wants to make small things like chess boards or boxes and shelves. Maybe a side table.

So…. Putting together is a little fidly, but if you find that hard what are you doing buying a table saw.

It is a bit plasticy in places, the fence is a bit wobbly and the dust extraction is ok at best

But it’s kinda ok. I just clamp a straight bit of wood to my fence to sure it up, works fine. I’ve measured and re measured and adjusted bolts so it’s all nice and level and square. The mitre sledge is passable if you hold it right but most will build a better one anyway.

So the only option for something better is more than double so I think it’s kinda good.

Saw exactly what you expect from evolution, a blade with decent depth cut and capable of cutting through all sorts of materials, including metal. Important when cutting second hand timber for fire wood and up-cycling. This machine was described in detail, but was missing its blade guard, suction hose and some bolts, slightly annoying and not previously mentioned (hence 4 stars), but machine does work!

This is a very solid table saw with good features and quality of build. The only thing I would say is there is way too much flexibility on both cross cut and ripping guide rails. I have had to clamp a straight wood piece on for any accurate cuts.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThe table moved along the floor when feeding a plank of wood in to the blade so I weighted the table down with some heavy chunks of wood. I am considering fitting rubber feet to the outriggers on the legs as well. I also bought the Evolution Mitre saw and stand. What a pity that they are not at the same height. One table would have been a useful support for the other when cutting long lengths of wood. When cutting a long plank I found I couldn’t hold the plank against the fence for the whole length of the plank. This was because the aluminium part of the guide had rotated a little from the black plastic slide. The fence is bolted to the black plastic slide by two small diameter (M5) bolts placed close together. I took the plastic slide and the aluminium extrusion apart, removed a film of oil, roughened both parts and reassembled them with Araldite, in the hope that the fence would then be held firmly enough. This helped a bit but the fence often moved a little creating a curved cut. The fact that the fence is much shorter than ideal meant that when the wood passed the end of the fence the wood moved further making the curved cut worse. I decided to buy a new fence from Evolution and fix it to the end of the existing fence so I could clamp the the end of the new fence to the table preventing sideways fence movement. Evolution emailed me an exploded parts diagram for me to identify the part I wanted. They don’t sell the aluminium fence on its own but only the fence assembly at 35. I then had a better idea. I bought a length of 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 1/8″ aluminium angle, cut it to the length of the table (28″), sanded the black plastic clamp flat and bolted the aluminium angle to it. I was then able to use a small G clamp to clamp the free end of my new fence to the table, see photo. My new fence is as solid as a rock. The metal sheet used in the table itself is rather too thin, but considering the whole saw table is made up of around 300 separate parts I think 150 is good value for money. Overall I am now very happy with it.

It is good value but has a few problems that are easily fixed.

Its straight forward to assemble but there’s 28 nuts bolts and washers so you need to be agile with your hands if you want to assemble it quick it took me 90 mins
The box containing all the bits was lodged inside the table and unfortunately I took the top off when I think it could been dislodged by turning the saw angle to 45
Someone had preassembled the measuring guide the wrong way which didn’t help but once I figured that out it was fine

Only real issue (and it is not about the product) is that it was delivered to the wrong address and re-oedering, cancelling the re-order and “Fun and games” trying to get things sorted took up a lot of my time. But in fairness Amazon were quick to react.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersFirst off – I really like Evolution brand saws – I have the Rage hand circular saw, Rage Jigsaw and Rage Mitre saw and stand. So in looking for a table saw Evolution was my first point of call. With the multi use blade and their reliability I really recommend the brand a good choice. Having never owned a table saw before I was still a bit cautious but eventually opted for this Fury table over the Rage model as it seems better for my workshop needs. When it arrived I was a bit concerned as it wasn’t packed particularly well in the box – the frame is just in put around the main unit so needless to say it was all rattling and loose. I recommend getting everything out to ensure it’s complete before you even start to build it. If you have a missing part and you are half way through assembly it will be a real pain to strip back down to send back. I quickly tested the saw too before assembly- check everything is away from the blade and just fire it up as-is just to ensure it’s not dead out the box. There are a lot of nuts and bolts but assembly is straight forward, you build it upside down then flip it over and add the guard and front guide/fence rail. It is a powerful beast – a lot more power than the Fury mitre saw of similar size. It’s so easy to use too with the quick and easy height and angle wheel. The fence will be way out when you first assemble it and this will take time to adjust and get true. I had to tweak mine a few times to get it true and in line with the measuring scale on the front guide. My only niggle and hence loss of a star is you can’t fully lower the blade with the top guard in place so if, like me, you want to use the blade to score wood rather than cut it, you have to remove the top guard – luckily it’s on a wingnut so it is quick and easy to do. Overall I really like this saw – it should be fine for any diy / hobby workshop.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersThis would be a 5 star if Evolution fixed ONE thing.
This table is excellent, make no mistake, for this price you wont find anything (in my opinion) to match it.
Assembly is a piece of cake, with a very well marked out assembly drawing and all components are clearly labelled.
The dust extract link ups work perfectly, the windings for blade height and angle tilt as smooth and simple to use. You get a a great angle slider and push stick as well, which are both extremely useful and make this even better value
The E stop and reset button set up is very simple and safe to use.

However, the one blinding issue with this is the guide. I had to modify mine to make it properly usable, the provided kit should be manufactured as one solid piece, instead of assembled components as in its current form it doesn’t stay straight with any kind of pressure against it, it flaps out and leaves you open to a slanted cut.

Seriously if Evolution could get this fixed I would recommend this to anyone, professional or hobbyist.

Really good all in all. Not too hard to assemble (30 mins max, which is mostly putting bolts into holes) although instructions could be clearer. Cuts really well and the double mitre ability works great. Only drawback is that the plastic plate that goes round the blade is only held down with a single screw and so mine slightly curls up and is proud of the surface, which wood can catch on, though it’s a very minor issue. Have used mine loads since I bought it and it’s the most useful thing in the workshop.

Easy to assemble, easy to use and makes great cuts both guided and freehand. Only improvement I would suggest is that the side-guard be extended to clip on both sides of the table, as with large pieces of wood it will not hold the cut straight. Really good piece of kit and cuts through anything (including pesky old nails in wood etc!)

Just used this saw. Cut through 2 inch hard wood like butter. Just make sure the blade runs true and the rear knife is inline with the blade.

Cuts really well through just about anything. A bit of a fiddle to put together but not hard. The only negative really is that the fence is a little flexible and could really use a clamp at both ends. Providing you don’t apply too much pressure against the fence it works just fine. Perfect for the hobby woodworker or diy’er. Very good value for money.

For an entry level table saw, this thing is great. Yes, there are small problems with the fence moving a little and the best way to make sure that the blade is at the angle you want is to check it with an angle gauge rather than trust its own gauge, but it’s near enough! I’ve had a load of fun with it and no problems with the small projects I’ve tried and would recommend this as a starter for anyone.

I am impressed ! The stuff I have cut on this table with this blade is incomprehensible, you would not believe it. I even managed to cut through a small concrete block, very slowly of course.Damn good machine Evolution !!!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersA very good product, setting up is easy to follow, and to build from the box, although there were 8 washes missing. Quite steady on its feet, its a shame that the fence isn’t longer to reach the end of the table top, tends to wobble a little which would possibly result in inaccurate cut. Speed of motor is very good and the cut from the blade is great. The table top is smooth and quite large although I will be making a out feed table at some time. Overall I am very happy with the table saw.

This is an exceptionally well made saw at a very reasonable price. Performance is excellent and the general purpose blade makes it very versatile. I am pleased to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased this saw for the express purpose of cutting up salvaged wood likely to contain nails and similar. It comes in need of an hour or so’s diy assembly, which will need some care if you plan to make precision cuts. It initially appears a bit on the flimsy side but stiffens up when legs etc are added. I am currently reserving judgment on the plastic insert which surrounds the blade. This may be an enconomy too far. It has a greater depth of cut than other table saws I have used including the Evolution saw it replaced. Although I have not done so with this example I have previously used Evolution saws to cut 3mm steel plate although this does reduce the life of the blade considerably. It is my first choice for an inexpensive general purpose table saw.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI am very much a junior when it comes to wood working and i am not the greatest when it comes to using circular saws so i decided to buy a table saw.

I only do woodwork as a hobby and so didn’t want to spend a fortune on it.

I looked around as the many varieties of budget table saws and decided to go with the evolution. I have read a mixed bag of reviews but chose this as i have a lb evolution mitre saw and it was a godsend when i build my sons play house.

Upon receiving i opened it up to find apart from the main body (saw table and saw) you had to build it. You get presented with a bunch of screws and some poor instructions. But i managed to figure it out.

    Good points:
    – Its sturdy
    – Gives you clean cuts
    – Easy to use
    – safety switch

    Bad points:
    – The fence is pretty terrible. It will move even with a small amount of force
    – Dust extraction is useless.
    – Instructions for assembly are useless.

Overall though i am happy. Maybe some day when i am better at woodwork or simply have the time to expand my skills ill replace with a more expensive one but for general use its fine for me

I have also added an extractor , which saves me a lot of time cleaning up all the dus

I found this while giving my saw a clean the plastic was almost broken through across the screw retain position .

There are a few things wrong but these can be put right, with a little though but apart from the little nigals I’ve been very pleased with the performance .

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI previously had the evolution sliding mitre saw which I found impressive so I took the plunge. I’ve now had this saw for just over two months. Overall I love it! The blade gives a nice clean cut and if set up correctly the saw gives a accurate cut. It’s worth taking the extra time on this part of the set up. I’ll be honest, I almost skimped when I got to this part in the instructions as by then I’d lost the will to live! Putting it together did take a while, 3 hours I think, but at the end of it you’re left with a good stable table saw. The hardest part is perhaps retrieving the fittings from the inside of the saw, you will need to tip the blade. Whoever came up with that idea needs shooting.
As with most things in life there are downsides. As others have said the fence is not good. It does move as it’s not secured both ends. This can be rectified by making your own, there are plenty of videos on YouTube or articles on Pinterest. In time this is something I intend to do. Personally I am going to fit the saw into a workbench long term so for now I clamp a bit of timber down both ends rather than using the supplied fence.
I would have liked it to have wheels on two of the legs to make it easier to move away from the side of the shed when cutting larger materials.
The side tables are fixed. It makes sense really in that once you’ve got it set up and level why would you want to alter it but personally I would liked to have been able to put them done and save space when not in use.
Some have asked questions about the dust. I’ve fitted it to a dust extractor using adapters and it works perfectly, it would work just as well attached to a vacuum cleaner.
The stop switch is ideally placed for me but cover does lock itself shut which is annoying but I suppose when it comes to safety it’s a small inconvenience.
I would say it is a loud machine but most electric saws are so I always where ear defenders.
If you can either ignore or fix the niggerly bits this is a fantastic saw and I would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis table saw is perfect for the price, but of curse you need to make adjustments like improving the fence and making some jigs.
In addition, if you don’t need the evolution multiple blade to cut metal, I recommend to change it to more quality blade.

Golden Review Award: 127 From Our UsersReading the other reviews I was at first a little suspicious as to this being a sturdy machine and suspect the alignments suggested by some reviewers, also the complication of assembly. My opinion, if you had these difficulties then you should not be buying let alone using this type of equipment.
I find it’s very sturdy, the switches are ideally placed, to turn off just press the cover shut, and the cover is there for safety purposes. The side extensions are very firm and stable. The front mounted rule could have been in one piece, would have been better, suppose it’s in two should you not wish to use the side extensions. Not a noisy machine as some suggest, then this was not my first table saw. The side fence has to be aligned with the blade before accurate cuts can be made, (this is explained in the instructions). The fence is not easily used on the left of the blade, not sure if this can be done, would be one improvement I would suggest, but not a problem. I found the unit was not a heavy as I originally thought, I assembled it in our conservatory then carried it into the garage with the help of my wife, only problem we had was the getting it through the door opening.
First cuts were in Conti Boards, three lengths 6″ wide by 24″ long, no problems, great clean cuts, very little chipping. Trimming a clean edge on a piece of exterior ply was next.
All in all a great machine, can’t wait to use it again. Would suggest buyers get a vacuum attached to remove the saw dust.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGood value for money! Blade cuts wood like butter. Other reviews said the end tables are not sturdy – nothing of the sort. Good study table and body. Would suggest making a cross-cut sled to minimise the clearance between the blade and the table. Otherwise a great product – does what it says on the box.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersNot had it too long, and my first table saw. Nothing too desperate about putting it all together – which mostly concerns the stand and side extensions. Locating and aligning the front measurement section was easier than I thought it would be (just because it comes in two parts I thought it might be a problem). Everything seemed to be accurate and precise when checking it all after putting it together, and my first cuts were spot on in terms of width and being cut square. Bear in mind this is only after a few cuts after just a few days, but don’t envisage any problems. Cuts smooth and accurately, with a nice and stable table and extensions. I’ve only got a very small space to operate in, so the fixed side extensions make it a bit of a problem to tuck out of the way when not in use, but that’s a small oversight on my part. It is noisy (as has been mentioned), and the only thing that looks like it might be a bit suspect is the blade guard which is a tad floppy in the horizontal plane so thinking it might end up fouling the blade at some point (though could be wrong I guess). Other than that, I can’t compare it to other table saws so can only say it seems well built, blade cuts smooth as anything (which seems to be most peoples major buying point for this saw) and the instructions were easy to follow for assembly and use. Overall can’t really fault it to date.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAlways wanted to get a table saw so I saw the reviews and watched the YouTube videos for this machine and thought it looks the part and pretty cheap. Its brilliant! One blade cuts all. I’ve already used it for long pieces of wood, metal tubing and plastic tubing. Takes a while to assemble and you need to take care and follow instructions to achieve decent precision. I love it so much I’m now looking for jobs to do so I can use it!
Very noisy though so use ear protection.

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersI had been looking to purchase a saw table for the garage as i was often needing to cut long strips down in width so had been looking at a few options available. There were a number of option that were cheaper and a lot which were a lot more expensive.

I have an evolution sliding mitre saw which i have never had any issues and has always worked well so i decided to try them again for the saw table. Something i liked was that they are a british company and if you need any help you are talking to someone in the country.

When i purchased this, i was one of the first and it had only just been released, replacing the Fury 5 table. As there aren’t many reviews i wanted to leave some of my thoughts and impressions.

The table comes in a fairly large box. be prepared to spend an hour or two putting it all together. The legs, braces, nuts and bolts etc all come within the main body. Some were a little awkward to remove. If it is tight, turn the wheel on the front to raise the blade mechanism, this will give more space to remove the components. Just take your time, follow the instructions and shouldn’t be any problems. For aligning the side metal wings, its best to retract the blade and use a flat surface. Turn the saw upside down and start fitting the wings. So long as you assemble on a level surface you should get a pretty accurate table top.

The big advantage of the evolution products is the blade. If you think you may want to cut more than just wood then this is a great choice. It can cut right through wood even if it has nails in it. Will also cut plastic and softer metals like aluminium.

As expected at this price range the machine has a plastic body but i haven’t found this really causing any problems. Its stands stable and functions pretty well. The wheel at the front is easy to turn and allows adjusting of the blade height. You can pull the wheel out and turn it to adjust the angle of the blade so you can cut mitres. The machine comes with a plastic push stick which fits on the side of the machine body. There is also a measurement rule which is the full length of the table top. This is handy as other tables often have a rule that doesn’t extend over the wings.
There is an adjustable angle push which slides within the guide rail to help feed and but wood at right angles or various other angles. I tend to just use my sliding mitre saw instead of this. Its not too bad if you don’t need deadly accuracy but there is a fair but of play in the guide so it not the most accurate.

I had a couple issues which i will mention in case you find yourself in the same boat…. In general i think its normal to cut with the blade only half a tooth or so above the material being cut. I found though that the blade had to be much higher otherwise the material got stuck at the rear of the blade guard which wasn’t clearing it. To fix this, take off the plate round the blade (power off, of course!), raise the blade to its full height for easier access, loosen the black metal blade guard (riving knife) behind the blade (which the blade guard bolts onto) and raise it up so the hole the blade guard connects to is level or slightly above the blade. Tighten and put the guard back on. This solved it for me with proper clearance.

The only other issue i had was the riving knife seemed to be very slightly out of line, perhaps a mm to the left of the blade. Although this was only a fraction it can cause the material to catch. I think This won’t be general and i was just unlucky as its normally set at the factory. i did have to adjust mine slightly though which i shouldn’t have needed to do.

Overall its a nice machine and i have already had good use from it. Hope this is helpful to some of you that are trying to decide.

Plus i do like the yellow and black!
