- You need to take apart your controller for installation, high hands-on skills required.
- Soldering optional. If you don’t need the L3, R3 and touchpad button can be remapped, soldering is not necessary. Get an installation video guide on YouTube by searching “eXtremeRate RISE4 Remap Kit for ps5”
On-the-fly Buttons Remapping
- Just press and hold the Set button on the back for 3 seconds to enter the button programming mode.
- You can activate the remap program during the game and assign maximum 15 buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3 and Touchpad Button ) to the back buttons.

Very good quality. Watching the video was pretty made if pretty easy. I messed up and cut the wrong tag off and I emailed them like it said to in instructions, they sent me new ones with no questions asked.

Bischen aufwendiger Umbau aber dank YT keine Probleme. Das Umbaukit ist qualitativ top und die Arbeit lohnt sich,vorallem kann man die Tasten frei belegen. Ich kann das Kit allen Zocker mit PS5 empfehlen vor allem bei Spielen wie cod,destiny2 usw. !!

I didnt want to pay the ridiculous price to buy a pro controller, this was a nice alternative and was easy to install (ive done small mods like this, but its easy to follow if you have steady/dexterous hands.)
If you want to connect the touch pad you will need soldering equipment (but I never really use the pad for gameplay so I skipped it.)

en un principio creia que seria dificil instalarlo ya que nunca habia hecho cosas asi pero simplemente siguiendo los pasos de los muchos videos que hay en youtube lo puedes hacer (sin necesidad de soldar (no instale R3, L3, pad)

I was afraid of the installation, but it wasn’t rocket science. The quality is good, I hope it will last. I really love the the clicky paddles.
I had previous eXtremeRate paddles for PS5 and didn’t like them because my middle fingers would rub up against the box on the back. This one has solved that issue and works flawlessly. Easy to install, easy to map, great instructions, great support. No reason to give this a bad review in my book. A+ product.
It was very easy to install with the online video. The clicky action feels great with shooters and I do not think that I would ever go back to a regular controller. Definitely better than paying $300 for those custom controllers. Trust me I have one and it always gave me issues and now it just collects dust.
Tipp: die Ltstellen wurden von Sony lackiert. Es geht einfacher wenn man diesen Lack vorher etwas abkratz.
Auerdem sollte man die Steckverbindung der Flachkabel sehr sorgsam einstecken und den richtigen Sitz kontrollieren. Erspart erneutes demontieren.

It’s so worth it. It takes a bit of patience to put it on your control but it’s worth it and it’s way cheeper than buying a scuff controller that at the cheapest it’s going to be $180 or $200 and this is less than $50

Les palettes sont trs pratique en revanche les 2 petits boutons sont compliqus prendre en main.
Montage en 1h30 environ, il faut tre minutieux mais la vido est trs bien explique.
Dernier point, bien vrifier le type de manette avant de couper, j’ai fait l’erreur mais le service client eXtremeRate m’a renvoy un deuxime schma gratuitement sans problme.
La calidad de la carcasa es excelente, la funcin es adecuada pero el acomodo de botones traseros deja algo que desear pues no es tan ergonmico como el kit de ps4 o un elite2.
Por un precio mas que razonable tienes algo mejor que un scuf, 4 botones traseros personalizables y adems fcil de instalar. Lo recomiendo 200% !!

Installation took me around 2 hours but it was all worth it. I don’t get why you would buy a scuf or from any brand like them when they charge you $200+ for the exact same thing. For those who are scared to break your controller, don’t be. I was at first but then I gave it a shot and saw that it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. For people with long hands like me, I would recommend mostly using K3 and K4 since that’s what I find most comfortable. Overall, great product and thanks for not making me spend $200+ on a controller that would probably break after 2 months.
Facile installer (20 min) j’ai lu la vido en mme temps trs bien expliqu.
Niveau matriel trs bien le clic est agrable. Pour le moment pas de dsynchronisation comme avec celle de la ps4.

The total installation time for me was about 15 minutes or so. I didn’t do any of the soldering for the L3/R3/Touchpad buttons, so that eliminated about 20 minutes of assembly time right there. I’m *extremely* happy with this kit so far. It’s made playing first-person shooter-looters so much more fun to play. So happy was I with this kit that I purchased a second one for my other controller!
Product is not for people that do not know what they’re doing, you will ruin your controller if so. But to those with some knowledge, this should be an easy job and the paddles work flawlessly. Soldering isn’t needed if you do not care about programming your triggers or thumb sticks, without soldering you can program the pad and X,O,Triangle,Square no problem! But as said earlier if you are not well equipped or know what you’re doing you WILL ruin your controller.

First and foremost, as an owner of a bunch of modded controllers, I can say it’s not a scuf controller. However, it’s functional, and incredibly easy to install with their YouTube instructional videos. 30-40 minutes for your first install, and it works. I will say that the buttons feel cheap, very cheap, but they work. I’ve had mine installed for a few month and still going strong. Would recommend if you’re not looking to dish out $300 on a scuf.
Es funktioniert, sieht nicht schlecht aus, dennoch wrde ich 2 Pddels mehr bevorzuhen und alle ein wenig lnger und besser angepass
This product fit perfect on my controller, just make sure to take the extra time to read the instructions and installation is a breeze. Overall comfort is awesome and the look of it is top notch. My only complaint was one of the buttons was sticky and I hand to carefully pry the placating outwards to make it click again. Highly recommend if finding a pro controller is difficul

Einbau geht mit dem Anleitungsvideo sehr gut. Hab das Lten weggelassen (brauche ich nicht).
Fr mich macht das Set einen guten Eindruck. Es sieht ganz gut am Controller aus und die Taster funktionieren einwandfrei.
It was very fast shipped (very positive note) but my order was for nothing as it has become non functional. The k3 button does not click & also the remapping didn’t work. Even after i tried several times after watching vidoes on youtube. Im very disappointed

Se que todas la personas tienen la capacidad de soldar, sin embargo para unos no es tan fcil hacer lo que dicen las instrucciones.
Si eres de las personas que no investiga y no es de tu agrado darte cuenta de que necesitas soldar, quitar y colocar piezas, no vengas a dejar un mal comentario ya que simplemente este accesorio no es para ti, busque un accesorio que ya se encuentre ensamblado o un control totalmente modificado y listo.
Am Ende doch noch geklappt. Hatte Probleme mit einer Faltung gehabt. Der Support hatte mich angeschrieben wegen meiner schlechten Rezession und im Anhang waren Fehler Schaubilder abgebildet. Genau daran lag es. Nur finde ich die Backpaddles sehr laut.
Super Sache die Nummer !
Ohne lten und relativ schnell habe ich mir meinen eigenen Scuf-Controller gebastelt.
Das einzige was mich strt ist der hohe Preis …
Zwar lohnt sich das Kit zu 100%, aber 45 dafr ist nicht ganz wenig …
Trotzdem natrlich total zu empfehlen !!!!
Installed this on my ps5 controller to meet my needs. When you recieve this you recieve numerous components and this one is not simply plug and play. You do have to replace two ribbon cables to make the unit replicate the 4 triggers and the x, square, triangle, and circle. If you also want the TouchPad or the L3-R3 then you will also need to go a little farther including light soldering. I didn’t need that functionality so I skipped that step. I recommend watching the tutorial on YouTube while installing.
Product functions as expected after a week or so of regular gaming. Easy to remap and keep on playing through various games.
This is my 6th custom build, but my 1st on the DualSense5. It was trickier than the DualShock4 builds but still fairly simple (only 2 solder points if I remember correctly). These back paddles are game changers! Super easy to map/remap once installed. It WILL NOT fit into its cradle charger now but that’s not a problem as now I have to hide my controller from my sons! All in all a great, fun build with a great product!
I am not a gamer, I felt it was pretty pricey for a few pieces of plastic, but it was exactly what my son wanted.
Einfache Installation: WICHTIG: Schaut euch genau das Video an. Hab es ohne Lten installiert, alle bentigten Tasten funktionieren einwandfrei. Springen, sliden etc. nun ohne die Daumen vom Stick zu lse

Once you get used to playing with these you will find it hard to go back. I installed these on my old PS4 controller and now my new PS5 controller. I love using these buttons. Feels really good in your hands. The PS5 buttons seem very durable and the button mapping on/off has been upgraded from the PS4 version making it much easier to use.
Install will take a little time (maybe an hour). Just watch the YouTube video and pause/rewind when needed. Check your controller model before you cut the new connector ribbon strips so you don’t off the wrong section.
After installing you will not be able to use a charging station. You will need to charge it by plugging in a cable. Not a big deal.
While it was pretty involved, it wasn’t overly hard or complicated. It’s comfortable and easy to use after using an Elite since they were released.
However I did break one of the Ribbon cable clamps on the kit but easy enough to rig with a bit of tape. Just be sure to not act like a 300Lbs gorilla and it should be fine lol.
Haven’t gotten to test it out ingame yet but definitely feels great!

I only miss one piece (the Cover for the light) but everything is working great and Easy to install whit the instruction video.
Still haven’t gotten a scuff controller since I installed this months ago.
I personally use it for Warzone and it took a few days to get my fingers to use the paddles vs the buttons. Definitely a huge game changer once you get used to it. I also took a can of white gloss spray paint splatter to match the front trim to the gripped back plate from extreme rate. I think it came out great! Overall I love it. Worth every penny.
This is my second ps5 controller I modded with extremerate parts. It’s a quick install 10-20 min if you know what your doing, and 20-40 min if you don’t. Take your time fallow the video for your controller board. To know your board look at the back of your controller. On the top line there will be a model cfi if at the end there is an “A” you have a 20 or no “A” then it is a 10. I soldered L3 and R3 buttons and skipped the touch pad. It worked flawlessly. They k3 and k4 buttons are very sensitive. This can be a pro or con depending on how well you adapt to it. I personally like how responsive they are. Great product!
