It’s a great product to video chat and much more enjoyable than on regular phone. But I have got complaints from family members that they cannot hear me loud enough. Not sure if that’s because of portal or its a fault with their own network.
Using this portal feels as if the person is in the same room. The picture is so clear.
Brilliant, my daughter moved away and this a great way to stay in touch and see the Grandchildren.
The family can spread out over a room and the camera picks you up unlike a laptop camera. This is a great product to keep in touch with family and friends
Bought this item as a Christmas present for the wife so had it long enough now to write a fair review, it was easy to install and simple to use, does exactly as it says on the box. She likes the “follow me anywhere” camera, it’s located in the kitchen so she can carry on cooking ect while video calling the family, Alexa is running in the background so handy for recipes and weather ect, overall a good buy
Great product, excellent for reaching family, friends and colleagues all over the world. Superb system a little pricey but is worth it.
This piece of kit is amazing, it tracks people in the room, focusing on people’s faces, adjusting zoom to keep ever one in the frame of the TV. I have purchased 4 of these and distributed to family members. I used the Amazon deals when offerd to purchase much cheaper.
I bought this for my parents to be able to see me when I am away it is brill so easy to use
I loved the ‘normal’ Portal, but until you try this portable version you don’t know what you’re missing. It works great for chrildren so you can move it to wherever they are playing (floor, table, etc), and even for an ‘adult’ conversation it’s surprisingly useful to be able to just grab it and take it along to another room or a different corner.
Does what it says on the box. Good quality viewing on full size monitor, far better than small hand held phone. But it does so much more for kids entertainme
On paper this should be a simple way to keep in touch. But it exposes the most likely users, the elderly, to the quagmire of social media. Signing them up isn’t as straightforward as it should be. A VPN platform would be better.
