The Faithfull Transformer is designed for use on the worksite to provide power to industrial powertools. This transformer has a heavy-duty GPR waterproof case, making it fully weatherproof and therefore suitable for use in most types of outdoor and worksite conditions. This Faithfull 3.3 kVA transformer has great safety features including a re-settable thermal overload protection function and a heavy-duty rubber cable fitted with 13 amp rubber plug, and also a unique blue LED ‘Power-On’ indicator which provides confirmation that the unit is live.

Good transformer even in Belgium !
I measured 116 volts at the output of the transformer by connecting it to 240 volts, it will allow me to power my Japanese toaster (the Mitsubishi TO-ST1-T which requires 930 watts) by adding another transformer to its output which lowers the voltage to 100 volts.

Hard to write a review on a transformer but it works well, arrived in good time too. I have been charging up a cherry picker for three months and it is fine. Doesn’t get that hot and the LED’s are a nice touch to tell you it is on.

Unfortunately the generator is large awkward to move and buried under mounds of other equipment.
Luckily the van also has a 240v socket, that’s where the transformer comes in, with a 50m extension lead it powers a small compressor and a submerged water pump with ease, and I’ve no problem with carrying it around either.

Good solid product, as expected from the Faithful brand. Agree with other reviewers that the packaging struggles to hold up considering the weight of the product. Having said that, the transformer itself is so sold that it makes little difference. Cannot comment on reliability yet, but fingers crossed it’s as good as first impressions suggest.

Such a powerful efficient thing , I’ve placed it in the middle of our dining room table , looks strong and yellow and saves having to buy bunches of daffs. My wife looked at me funny , but nobody had ever bought her daffs before so i think she was impressed ?? Maybe ??? Not the best bit of kit in a power cut but heyho!!! Excellent buy .

Having moved here from America, I had many 110v tools and to be fair there is a great selection of them out there still that are cheaper from America than here in the UK, but that is neither here nor there. This is exactly what I needed to run my woodworking tools in my little garage work shop and doesn’t make the humming noises that are so irritating in the household versions of this (and cheaper too!). It’s powerful, well made, and shockingly heavy. Probably one of the best buys I have made and will potentially be buying a second one for the other end of the work shop so I don’t have to move this around.

I bought this to provide conversion for a Vita Mix blender from the States. The voltage rating on the blender was 110V and used about 1250W in total. This transformer was able to handle it with ease. I just need to purchase Plug (Draper 59851) and a power strip. After a little DIY, I had a running blender and a happy wife. Please note that there is slight transformer hum. But keep things switched off when not in use.

I wanted a 110V transformer to power a US made jukebox (with no earth connection) and some old US radios.
This transformer is ideal for my application. With its centre-tapped secondary winding, the jukebox is isolated from the 230V European mains and perfectly safe, even though it has no earth connection itself. The transformer can provide far more power than the jukebox needs, so a huge safety factor there.
The price is very reasonable, less than some transformers of far less power handling capacity. It is very robustly made.

well packaged so no damage could happen to the parcel and was parceled inside more protective coverage so as it would not damage the plugs section inside.
The transformer is well made and does what is says. I’m giving it five stars even though the packing (by Amazon I think) was so awfully inadequate for a heavy thing like this. I had to take three deliveries before I got an unbroken one. Hopefully this is now resolved.

Heavy Duty and robust constructio
Well made product came securely packed and does everything required. Used in conjunction with an adapter-lead which unfortunately had to come from another company – hence two carriage charges.

My husband needed one of these so he could use it out side, he can now use the tools out side and is very happy with it.
Having looked around for a 110v heavy duty transformer, this one jumped out as having a high rating, dual sockets and excellent price compared to many others. UK supplier, not a cheap import.
