una impresora ya montada, de la cual puedes olvidarte de tener que montar absolutamente nada, ni tener que estar calibrando la base en cada momento , como ocurre con las que si se tienen que montar , el ruido producido es realmente bajo en comparacion a muchas otras ,y su uso es bastante facil

Pas de plateau chauffant, filament PLA majoritairement, zone imprimable de 14×14, ce n’est pas une machine de pointe, mais elle fait de belles impressions et est assez prcise. Et surtout, c’est extrmement simple faire.
Nous imprimons tous les jours des fichiers rcuprs sur le net (th….iverse) et c’est devenu addictif !
La Finder fonctionne toujours merveilles et permet d’explorer les premiers rglages de tempratures, paisseurs de couches, vitesses, supports…

Instructions don’t tell you how to connect to the Internet or how to wirelessly interact with the printer through a laptop or desktop, but it’s relatively easy for anyone who’s compitent with computing to figure out.
Overall excellent printer for the money! My first 3D printer (although I have used them at uni/college before) I found this was so easy to get going, and done my first print within an hour of unboxing

This is a perfect enty level 3D printer for someone who wishes to get into 3D printing.
I’ve owned a Finder for over 3 years and been very happy with it.
If you are new to 3D printing or wish to get into it then you must be aware that you will need to learn about bed leveling and bed adhishion all of which you can find plenty of videos on youtube, on how to set up your finder.
I recomend purchasing some BuildTak stickers for the platform the blue plate sticker is good but does not last as long. The BuildTak sticker along with pva glue is spot on, you can find videos on it.
One thing you will need to do unfortanly is either print a filliament spool hold or place the printer in a potion you can attach a roller system on a platform above. reason being is the finder can only hold a small thin spool most spools are a 1kg and are to wide for the finder. So recomend going on thingiverse and printing of a spool arm.
Printed very well. Easy to use but needs time to work out how to print. Auto leveling is good. Reads only the Flashprint software, thus, after design (I used Autodesk inventor and saved in STL format), you need to understand how to export, and convert to gx format in Flashprint, then load and move image on the platform for printing. Nozzle warms up in 3 minutes and prints as required.
I can’t fault the quality of printing. The only issue is, the autoloading works well only with filament spool supplied by Flashforge, other brands of filament spool are too big to fit in the autoloading bay so you will have to improvise. That is not much of a problem if you are creative. I simply spooled the filament from the package box running through a hole in the side and a pencil running through the middle of the spool and 2 holes at the center of both sides of the box.
This is not an enclosed device. Altogether a good experience and introduction into 3D printing – 3 weeks post delivery.
I have a 4/5 year old printer that I got fed up of fixing. I don’t print very much, just little models that I like to paint (see picture), so I really just wanted something that works and I don’t need to mess about with every few times I print something. Many people will recommend kit printers that you can build yourself, upgrade, customise, etc, but that really isn’t for me. I just want to print a few models a month to paint (using templates I download of a website) and put on a shelf or give to friends.
If you’re in a similar situation to me then this is a really great printer. The software is really simple, the hardware seems to ‘just work’ and the print quality is good. It’s not ‘incredible’ or anything, but for the price of the printer and the amount of effort you put into it it’s good enough for basic needs. I’d also say that it is very beginner friendly and I’m told that they are used in schools and libraries across the UK/US and I can certainly see why. It would serve as a very good introduction.
A couple of things to note:
The plastic you print with sits internally. This means you have to buy smaller than average reels of plastic. This can workout over time to be a bit more expensive – i.e. a 1kg spool is cheaper per gram than a 250g spool, as you can imagine. They are also less widely available. The advantage of this is that it looks nice and has a smaller footprint. The alternative is that you can print or buy an external holder for your spool. There are loads available for this model to print or generic ones you can buy on Amazon, etc.
It does not have a heated bed, meaning that you need to take extra steps to ensure the print does not move using printing, such as putting glue on the bed. I was quite concerned about this originally, but I’ve actually found the glue to be more reliable than the heated bed I had on my previous model. So far I’ve not had a single model come unstuck during printing. The only thing to keep in mind is you will need to clean the bed after every few uses.
Aesthetically it looks A LOT better than your standard 3D printer. Rather than a big ugly metal structure, it is colourful and just like a square box. It’s quite bulky, but it sits in our spare bedroom and doesn’t look anywhere near as out of place as the old one did. It also is much quieter.

An excellent starter 3d printer with the the benifits of a mid range printer, very easy to set up and print quality is amazing, only downfall is the filament cartridge is small for average filament spools, a 3d print can resolve this issue though, would highly recommend this printe
Good starter printer only main issue is no heated bed means alot ofvgkue sticks and hairspray, however great printer for its price easy to use and set up
Got this for Christmas 2019 for my son. It’s been a good introduction into 3d printing and it’s worked fine ever since and we’ve learned a few tricks along the route as well. Probably will go for a heated bed printer, when this has to be replaced.
Easy to use and set up. This is the first 3D printer I have owned and it exceeded my expectations.
There is a small learning curve but after a couple of test prints you’ll find it is quite an easy printer to use. Don’t expect super amazing results but you can achieve good quality prints for a printer in this price range.
I have tried a couple of filaments. The official FlashForge which are quite good and the BASICFIL PLA, which despite have some poor reviews elsewhere, I found to be good.
The printer has some good features;
Easy leveling
Store prints sent to the printer
Light on printhead
Easy to use software.
I would recommend this printer to any one who wants good results at a reasonable price.
Eccellente entry level che soffre unicamente del fatto di non possedere le features offerte da modelli di gamma superiore (piatto riscaldato, doppio estrusore, area di stampa maggiore, stampa ABS,Nylon…) ma che fa egregiamente quello per cui stata progettata, ovvero principalmente la stampa di PLA, specialit dove non teme sconfitte schiaccianti confrontata a sorelle maggiori.
Ottimo rapporto prezzo qualit in tutti gli aspetti: robustezza meccanica, efficienza, facilit d’utilizzo, software, connettivita’.

Acepta pla de 1’75 pero de la marca hasta 0’5 kg.Tened en cuenta si ponis otro hay que ponerlo fuera de su compartimento.
I am a complete beginner in 3D printing, so these are the observations of a novice. The machine was bought to print items for my garden model Railway. I had researched the topic for a while and this machine kept being recommended for beginners. It is indeed easy to set up. You need to download the Flashpint utility which allows you to take files from the internet and configure them for the printer. It seems to be a well built machine, can be operated in the house ( no nasty smells etc) and from my perspective is an idea entry level device. Print resolution is surprisingly good. Providing you print onto a raft, (a setting in print command) adhesion is good. One warning, it uses 0.5kg filament spools, so check before buying new spools, 1kg spools will not fit.
Devo dire che sono soddisfattissimo del prodotto. Prima avevo una geetech prusa i3 ma niente di comparabile rispetto alla flashforge. La cosa che mi ha impressionato pi di tutte l’adesione. Qualsiasi pezzo ho stampato fino ad ora non ha avuto nessun problema di adesione anzi il problema staccare il pezzo. Molto precisa.
Una caratteristica che vale tutto il sistema di livellamento del piatto automatico. che rende il tutto pi facile rispetto alle altre stampanti.
Il software molto facile da usare, sicuramente per i principianti perfetto perch praticamente gia tutto preimpostato. l’unica cosa da scegliere la qualit e il tipo di supporto per il resto molto facile. C’ anche la possibilit di opzioni avanzate ma secondo me non servono, il prodotto funziona bene cos. L’unica cosa che ho dovuto cambiare stata la temperatura che di default di 220C, a parere mio troppo elevata. l’ho impostata sui 205C e poi ha stampato perfettamente.
Solo due punti a sfavore:
-la dimensione del piatto che per non un grosso problema dato che quasi la totalit dei pezzi che stampo rinentrano nei 14 cm;
-il fatto che non si possono usare bobine da 1kg, cio per usarle bisogna per forza tenerle fuori dalla stampante e non nello scomparto apposito.
Vali la pena! Dud en un principio puesto que escapaba de lo que me quera gastar, pero fue sacar de la caja e imprimir. Conecta por wifi perfectamente y tiene equilibrado automtico, dos pluses importantes. Es un poco tostn cuando se te atasca filamento (pasa en todas) pero hay vdeos en YouTube y grupos en redes que te ayudan ante cualquier problema. Como punto flaco: cama no caliente y algo estrecha. Por lo dems, genial.
Use through the flash forge program. Can sometimes be a little temperamental and lose connection. Does very good detail for the price. Do sometimes have problems with warping when creating flatter objects but performs better on more vertical or solid pieces. Can be improved by printing with a raft attached on the options on flash forge. Bought larger reels of pla and printed a holder for them. They do last quite a while.
L’ho scelta perch era economica, preassemblata e facile da utilizzare, con un ottimo software. Senza preoccuparsi di montarla e rischiare di sbagliare qualche passaggio, una volta inserito il materiale correttamente e rimosse le protezioni (delicatamente) come scritto sulle istruzioni, gi pronta al servizio!
Il fatto che sia preassemblata consente di aumentare la velocit di stampa con la massima stabilit, infatti sembra quasi una ultimaker quando la imposto a 80mm/s o pi, in poche ore finisce oggetti grandi quanto il piatto!
Purtroppo questo vassoio non molto grande ma si pu stampare il modello a pezzi e montarlo dopo.
Ho stampato in PLA e TPU con ottimi risultati a 205C fissi.
Non proverei l’ABS per la mancanza del letto riscaldato ma le temperature raggiunte dall’estrusore potrebbero riuscire a fonderlo (circa 250 il massimo impostabile).
Trs bonne imprimante. Trs facile d’emploi, la solution logicielle est trs adapte.
Mon souci a t celui d’un blocage de bloc extrudeur.
Utilisable au bout de quelques minutes.
Ses dfauts sont le manque de paramtres modifiables mmes s’ils semblent suffisants pour un novice, un plateau chauffant apporteRait un bnfice net.
Le prix est plus que raisonnable vu la qualit du matriel.
Un plateau plus grand serait apprciable aussi.
Couldn’t want more from my second foray in to the world of 3D printing,easy to set up the levelling process couldn’t have been easier, took a few try’s to figure out the perfect settings for the things I was printing but the basic test prints were successful without me touching the settings

Ottimo il rapporto per la qualit e il prezzo, arriva gi quasi tutta montata, quindi stato facile anche per me che non avevo mai avuto una stampante 3D.
Funziona perfettamente solo qualche volta l’adesione al piatto non era perfetta e quindi ho dovuto stoppare tutto, comunque aggiungendo la colla al piatto e ricalibrandolo attentamente sono riuscito a risolvere.
Great 3D printer for beginners. I recommend using different PLA than the material supplied. Very easy to use. 3D models load from a USB stick. I couldn’t get the wireless to connect to my computer, but firmware updates did load across Wi-Fi. My top tip is to use masking tape and purple glue to print on to. I managed to destroy the first print plate getting off a 3D model. So be warned.
This is my first 3d printer – possibly it’s your first foray into 3d printing as well.
Firstly, I’d like to say – don’t expect miracles. Getting the best out of this printer requires understanding its strengths and its weaknesses, knowing when it is likely to produce good results and when it is likely to fail.
Having said that, it can produce some great objects, often in quite fine detail.
Unfortunately, after 18 months the printer started to behave erratically – switching off part way through a print. I contacted tech support in China via email, and they were VERY responsive, suggesting that the problem was the power supply. I bought a new power supply and the problem was fixed. I’d rather not be buying new components for an 18 month old printer, but at least my printer now worked. Thumbs up to their tech support.
In summary – I do recommend this to anyone new to 3d printing. You can produce both interesting (decorative) and functionally useful objects.
4 stars for the 18 month failure.
Received this printer today and just done my first print on it. I literally plugged the machine in, turned it on, calibrated it and then hit print on a cube model that is already on the machine and WOW. Talk about easy. The cube itself is clean and no issues with it what so ever. Off to make some more models now!
I had this printer in my amazon basket for SO long thinking is it work it?.. IT REALLY IS. Just buy it 🙂 You won’t regret it! I would say that calibration took about half an hour but once that was set up, you’re up and running!

Perfect for the first 3D printer. I have worked with makerbots and ultimately for a while
At work but wanted a smaller easy to use machine at home. This fit that bill perfectly. Print quality is OK – nothing amazing, but great for making little useful things or medium toys / characters.
Set up is simple, levelling the bed works well, with maybe only 2 attempts to get it right. Bed is a good size for small items.
The filament that comes with it is OK – not great. I personally went onto thingiverse and printed a spool holder for better spools. This printer takes a weird sized spool so you have to buy the flash forge ones if you want to slot it in the back. This makes it near but limits choice – so do what I did and print a holder for normal spools!
Overall it’s compact. A bit slow. Not the best quality print – but for just getting into it, and making some little bits and bobs that don’t need to look perfect – it’s great!
For the money a really good entry printer to learn on.
la mia prima stampante 3d, non avendo esperienza, non posso che dare il massimo dei voti. L’installazione veramente veloce e come da descrizione, dopo 30 minuti stava gi lavorando con il modello che fornisce FlashForge di default, tra l’altro ci si potrebbe dormire accanto senza svegliarsi. Non sono ancora in grado di giudicare precisamente come lavori, ma per il prezzo che ha veramente top.
Sono alla prima esperienza con la stampa 3d. E posso solo confermare quanto gi ribadito nelle varie recensioni…sia sulla semplicit di utilizzo che sulla qualit incredibile di questa stampante!
This is my first ever 3d printer. I have owned it for 3 months now, so I think it’s about time to review it.
I, like many others have no 3d printing experience, so complete novice. However, after looking at lots of YouTube reviews I decided to buy this and boy I am glad I did.
The print quality is actually very good, but remember it depends on the filament quality, and above all what print settings were used. I use standard quality, with a 0.18mm 1st layer height and speed of 35mm. I know this can make it slow but trust me it’s the best setting.
I have printed lots and lots, almost continuously. Now that I have experience, I plan to upgrade and buy a newer more advanced model but it definitely will be a Flashforge.
My first 3d printer, i cannot design stuff so am reliant on using other peoples designs, which is fine by me.
The printer is a doddle to set up, it is quiet, looks good and performs well.
Some items i have printed have lifted at the extremities, some haven’t. Designs with thick bases tend to lift more than thin designs but it is minor and you can always print on a raft or give it a rim to HELP alleviate the issue. the printer bed is not heated which may help cure the issue but for the money, it’s still not a massive issue.
Ive had different PLA through it and it hasn’t jammed or fouled up once.
For someone who has no idea if they want a 3d printer, i was willing to spend 300, hell i could sell it for 250 tomorrow but as it is i am more than happy with its performance.
You will struggle to find better for the price.

Seems to do what its supposed to and pretty well. Easy to use and get started.
No serious problems. Adhesion to base was an issue after a few prints thaat seems to slick the tray but glue stick seems to work. I would advise to quickly print an external spool holder before the internal small supplied spool runs out to hold larger more economic spools on the outside back.
Software is easy to use and obvious to learn.
“How to unpack and put it together” leaflet is small and feint to read – photocopied it bigger and darker to make easier but thats really my only issue
Print quality on basic is ok but higher settings its amazing, just a lot slower.
Its my first 3D printer and I’m loving it but I can see its printing size becoming an issue in the future but for now as I experiment and play its not a problem.
Purchased for my 9 year old son for Christmas. We had it printing in no time and I would highly recommend this 3D printer. After a few walk through of the process required to find 3D print file online, download and convert file for FlashForge, load onto USB and open in 3D printer he is ok doing it himself.

Having purchased this at Christmas for my two boys of 8 and 9 I set it up early and can say it was straight forward out of the box. Easy to set up with the built in software and was printing within an hour. I found out that the latest version Flashprint would find the machine through wireless on Windows 10 but a little searching on the internet found that early versions on Flashprint was the way forward. You have to manually put in the IP address but that was the only issue. Do not tighten the level knobs too tight for leveling the base on first setup. this can cause issues for this process.
Printing is very good with items found on TinkerCad for testing but I found on the first times of printing I was getting lifting of the edges. There were many topics of this from others on the internet but I found that cleaning and drying the surface then applying the included Invisible purple glue all over and waiting for that to dry/disappear, then applying another layer where it was to print has solved that problem completely. I check the base level each time and can not print large items without any issues whatsoever.
Highly recommend this product for a beginner like myself and my boys. It has not stopped since purchase.
Por ponerla una pega decir que el lugar donde va colocado el rollo de filamento es pequeo para rollos normales, solo entran los propios de ellos, aunque con un soporte exterior puede poner y imprimir perfectamente.

Stampante adatta per i principianti, molto comodo il piatto estraibile, visto che stampo quasi esclusivamente con pla non sento necessit del piano riscaldato. La precisione pi che accettabile e anche stampando con layer abbastanza grossolano le stampe risultano belle. Unico neo che non mi fa dare 5 stelle il fatto che il sensore che fa il livello semi automatico mi mantiene il piatto di stampa un po’ troppo distante dall’ugello e con stampe molto grandi i pezzi ai lati si staccano. Bella da vedere, posizionata in sala sulla scrivania a fianco del computer. Molto semplice da utilizzare anche il programma, un po’ limitato, ma ideale per iniziare. Contento dell’acquisto

Leveling is painless. The print is very good quality!
Extremely satisfied is an understatement. If you’re going to get into 3d printing then this is perfect. I had a print which was 100 times better than anything my anet managed to make in under 15 mins from opening the box.

Es gibt diverse Seiten wo man fertige Modelle nachdrucken kann und das macht echt spa.
Das Gert ist Relativ leise und sehr gut verarbeitet.Der Preis ist sehr gut fr das Gert.
Meine vollste Empfehlung.
Et bien c’est effectivement une machine trs simple prendre en mains (j’utilise SketchUp avec plugin Sketchup STL pour modliser et FlashPrint pour grer l’impression, tous 2 sont gratuits et facile matriser)
Une fois l’imprimante connect au rseau et la mise jour qu’elle propose, le menu est en franais et les rglages sont super simple faire.
En fait il faut juste apprendre charger ou dcharger le fil et caler le plateau, il suffi de suivre les indications de l’cran sur l’imprimante.
J’ai trouv des tutos trs facilement pour la mise en route et pour comprendre les bases sur le site flashforge (slectionner le modle “chercheur” car c’est comme a que finder et traduit sur leur site).
Donc me voici dans le monde de la 3D avec un dbut d’exprience trs prometteur et sans prise de tte !
Un dernier conseil, ne chercher pas faire tous de suite faire de la trs haute dfinition car la standard et dj trs bien et j’ai eu des loups sur la haute dfinition car je ne sais pas encore tous paramtrer. Les rglages du logiciel FlashPrint par dfaut fonctionne trs bien.

The supplied filament is utter useless, I would bin it and not even bother. Get a decent quality PLA and it will make a huge difference to the quality of your prints. It’s easy to convert this to use 1kg filament spools be printing a hanger that hooks at the back of the printer.
Build quality is excellent and it prints straight out of the box with no setup apart from leveling. The leveling process is very straightforward with guided instructions on the screen.
Print quality is the same as other printers I’ve used that cost 5x the price.

La consiglio a tutti perch semplice da usare e ha un mini schermo tuch per poter gestire la stampante.
Arriva preassemblata e pronta all’uso, le istruzioni non ci sono in Italiano, ma in inglese, e comunque con le figure si capisce bene ugualmente. Il software anch’esso di facile installazione e utilizzo. Una volta montata e collegata al pc o a una pen drive, va fatta la calibrazione, semplicissima.
Sul collegamento voglio dire che abbiamo avuto un problema a collegarla con la usb, perche diceva ci mancavano i drivers che abbiamo avuto difficolt a trovare, abbiamo ovviato collegandola WiFi con l’IP che ci ha suggerito sul display. Semplicissimo.
Comprata ad un prezzo veramente eccezionale, prima stampante 3d e devo dire solo 3 cose SEMPLICE da settare semplice da usare e stampa veramente ottima anche n modalit standard. PLA in dotazione veramente buono, ho provato a stampare un po’ di tutto cose semplici e cose complicate e ma avuto il minimo problema, unico difetto se cosi s pu chiamare un tantino rumorosa.

I am very impressed!! I recently ordered a GEEETECH printer which did not work at all. So instead I ordered the flashforge finder and I am not disappointed! Very easy to set up and remarkable prints! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is new to 3D printing. Thank you Flashforge!
I am very impressed!! I recently ordered a GEEETECH printer which did not work at all. So instead I ordered the flashforge finder and I am not disappointed! Very easy to set up and remarkable prints! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is new to 3D printing. Thank you Flashforge!

Tornassi indietro spenderei qualche soldo in pi e prenderei un prodotto superiore come dimensioni di stampa e con letto riscaldato, ma comunque sono contento di questa mia prima stampante 3D.

Unico piccolo difetto? Non ha il piatto riscaldabile e quindi pu stampare solo PLA, anche se devo dire che con questo materiale ho stampato di tutto…Dalle statuette ai gadget, dai plastici architettonici ai portachiavi.
Consiglio vivamente, per avere una base perfetta e liscia, di togliere l’adesivo blu incollato al piatto e di stampare direttamente sul vetro applicando un velo di lacca prima della stampa.
Ormai la utilizzo da quasi 2 anni, direi che la consiglio vivamente! 🙂
I’m a keen hobbyist and have been printing with this machine now for over 2 years and in that time have clocked over 600 hours combined print time. I absolutely love this printer as I genuinely think it’s the best thing out there and they could most likely get away with charging much more for it. If you have any concerns regarding it’s quaility then I can assure you that you will not be dissapoited by this machine!

Le impostazioni dello sliser (programma che si interfaccia alla stampante) sono semplicissime. Per fare le prime prove basta scegliere tra risoluzione bassa, media e alta. Dopo a ver preso la mano si possono abilitare le impostazioni avanzate che danno la possibilit di scegliere qualsiasi cosa del processo di stampa.
Il collegamento wifi veramente comodo, meno fili in giro.
La qualit di stampa secondo me veramente ottima con pochissimo sforzo.
Dopo un mese di utilizzo l’unico problema che ho avuto la poca adesione dei pezzi sul piatto dovuto all’usura del materiale posto su di esso. Questo avvenuto dopo almeno 5-6 stampe (comportamento normale). Ho risolto applicando la colla che danno compresa nella confezione. Basta spalmarne un po’ e il gioco fatto.

The print speed is really fast, and it does not give up on quality with the speed.
I am amazed at how quiet it is (if i put on cheap ear-bud headphones with no sound playing i have to concentrate to hear it, as it is so quite when running)
From un-boxing to having it up and running was approximately 10 minuets, which included loading the free filament and performing a full bed level.
The first print i did was Benchy(which is included in the pen-drive so no PC was needed to print it) this was a brilliant print, all the circles where perfect, and the arches where clean with no stringing, i was however surprised how well it stuck to the build plate(even without the included glue-stick).
The second print was a small figure, which i put through the included slicing software. I was amazed at how it came out as i forgot to add supports to a 180 degree overhang, so there was a part which was pretty much floating mid air. however it still handled it as it appears to have attempted to just extrude one line of filament to bridge(i stopped that one mid way though to start again this time with supports).
On this new print with the supports i found when running the default print temp of 220c was a little high as there was a lot of stringing (the supports are really easy to add and configure, with the auto add support option in the included software making adding supports a breeze) .
once i lowered the temp i found that the prints where perfect. And updating was also easy. I have to admit i have not put it onto my wifi as i prefer the print from usb drive option.
If you are interested in a 3d printer you won’t go wrong here, though as i mentioned the prints can stick quite well so i may recommend getting a PLASTIC spatula or even some guitar picks to help remove from the bed(which slides out, and appears to be glass with a print-bed sticker on top).
Also the UI on the touch panel is highly intuitive, which honestly is a pleasant surprise. Just a note in the quick-start guide the English starts halfway though so skip to there, and all the tutorial videos on the included flash drive are in Chinese, however some of them do have English subtitles. However honestly it is that easy to set up it is unlikely the videos would be needed.
Although I’ve used 3D printers for a while, this is the first time I’ve actually bought one for myself – having recently started a business that could benefit from 3D-printed objects, this is a way of testing the water before I move on to something bigger/better/more expensive.
I wasn’t familiar with Flashforge so I was a bit cagey despite all of the good reviews I’ve seen, however these fears were unfounded – the unit arrived _extremely_ well packaged and was pretty much ready to go out of the box. The machine comes with a 600g spool of filament (but see below), a bunch of tools and a USB stick containing test files, some manuals written in amusingly fractured Engrish and installation packages for their FlashPrint software – Linux users can rejoice because amongst the installation packages are 32-bit and 64-bit .deb files which are Ubuntu/Debian friendly.
Size-wise, consider it to be a cube approximately 18 inches on a side – this means it’ll stow away in a corner quite nicely and the enclosure makes it look rather more presentable than the cheaper DIY jobs. The printer will talk to the outside world via USB or WiFi, the latter being a snap to set up. In operation, it’s quiet … apart from the fan on the extruder unit which seems to run non-stop whilst printing is in progress; I’m hoping it might quieten down a bit in use, but even so it’s bearable – it’s quiet, but not silent.
Now for the gotchas:
– Levelling the print bed can be a real faff, but stick with it. Flashforge seem to be aware of this and have a couple of useful guides on their website.
– Whilst the filament caddy is very handy, it is _not_ big enough to take 1kg spools; 600g is the max – fortunately, some bright sparks on Thingiverse have made an external spool holder for the Finder so if you plan to use larger spools it’s well worth your while printing it out (will take about 6hrs altogether but the result is worth it)
– Since the print bed isn’t heated, you _will_ need tape/glue/whatever to hold large prints down. Fortunately, a purple Pritt stick was supplied(!) although I had to provide my own tape for the print bed.
TL;DR – for a ‘first’ 3D printer this is unbeatable for the price – easy to use, relatively quiet in operation and it won’t blow a hole in your bank balance. Like everything else, it’ll take a few goes to get all the settings dialled in but once you have the results are worth it.

Great printer, works straight out of the box. I had a little problem updating the firmware but the help email included in the box did a great job and helped me sort everything.
I have only printed a couple of robots and a vase so far but they look good and it’s easy to smooth out with a bit of sand paper.

Einfach Filament einfdeln und im Men den Ladevorgang” aktivieren.
Dann noch das (halb)automatische druckbettleveling Ausfhren (damit die Dse berall auf dem druckbett gleich weit entfernt ist)
Und schon kann es losgehen.
Positiv:
– die beiliegende Software berechnet die bentigten sttzstrukturen
– das Gert kann per wlan angesteuert werden
– eine weitere Kopie kann ohne pc direkt vom Gert gedrckt werden, da die Modelle intern gespeichert werden knnen.
– wichtig fr meine Frau: das Design —> geeigneter als ein eventuell freistehender selbstgebastelten

– meiner Meinung nach kann das wlan nicht verschlsselt werden —> drckt dann der Nachbar mit???
– durch die offenen Seiten relativ staubanfllig
I bought this printer for my 10 year old sons birthday in September, so it’s been with us a fair while now and had a decent amount of use (by myself as well). The unit itself is surprisingly compact and easy to use. If you are a novice at 3d modelling then your first destination should be the thingyverse website where you can download a vast array of models which you can load up and print off with ease. Once the initial novelty has worn off (my son generally only wants to print of video game related objects), the printer has stayed useful in the way a good tool would. I have used it to replace obscure items such as the headrest clips that shattered on my hot-tub. I have also managed to replace broken parts on vintage action figures. It’s in these situations that you realise what a revelation a 3D printer can be.
It has had one or two wobbles. We’ve had a couple of prints that left unattended jammed and resulted in a molten mess on the print bed. Fortunately this has caused no lasting damage and have so far been fairly isolated incidents which I would put down to a slight error in levelling the print bed. We’ve found that sometimes a snag in the filament spool can scupper the odd print too, but this isn’t the machines fault. I guess the message here is that not every print is faultless or error free, but by no means are they troublesomely frequent.
My only other observation is that print times can be long. I have no frame of reference from other 3D printers, but its not uncommon for larger more complex prints to take several hours. But for the money I am very happy with what we have. My son uses it regularly and is engaging him a productive way, and I’ve found more uses for it that I originally imagined. I paid 399.99 for this, and note the price has increased significantly at the time of writing. At the original price I recommend unreservedly. Currently I feel its a little steep.
Fantastic and reliable PLA printer with fantastic software (Flashprint). Would highly recommend for anyone beginning in the world of 3d printing who won’t need to print with any material that may need a heated build plate. Only downside I’ve had with this machine is the WiFi, it is unreliable and frequently drops connection. If connected via a wired connection, there are no issues.
After the horror of the Biqu Magician this printer has really changed my view of 3d printing. Very good detail, very well specified printer and not only works flawlessly but prints from WiFi. Really really impressed and solid build quality .
Update:
Two weeks on and completely reliable with no down time, very quiet for a 3d printer and has been a joy to use. I cant think of any bad points as it is what its described to be! really pleased after the previous horror of cheaper models from other manufacturers (I can leave this alone without the house getting burnt down!)
