For the money, you'll struggle to better but it does have limitations.
My first 3d printer, i cannot design stuff so am reliant on using other peoples designs, which is fine by me.
The printer is a doddle to set up, it is quiet, looks good and performs well.
Some items i have printed have lifted at the extremities, some haven’t. Designs with thick bases tend to lift more than thin designs but it is minor and you can always print on a raft or give it a rim to HELP alleviate the issue. the printer bed is not heated which may help cure the issue but for the money, it’s still not a massive issue.
Ive had different PLA through it and it hasn’t jammed or fouled up once.
For someone who has no idea if they want a 3d printer, i was willing to spend 300, hell i could sell it for 250 tomorrow but as it is i am more than happy with its performance.
You will struggle to find better for the price.
Ho cominciato a stampare dopo 10 minuti e non ho pi smesso..! Lavora Circa 10 ore al giorno e, con zero esperienza, gli unici problemi sono stati i settaggio e/o posizionamenti di stampa : quindi errori miei per inesperienza. Poco supporto in italiano (pochi utenti) ed un peccato : per risparmiare pochi euro molti si orientano su “cinesi” da assemblare. E poi leggi fiumi di problemi. Unico consiglio : STAMPARE SUBITO UN SUPPORTO ESTERNO per BOBINE STANDARD da 1kg, sono pi economiche e reperibili. I file per supporti esterni si trovano dovunque.

No serious problems. Adhesion to base was an issue after a few prints thaat seems to slick the tray but glue stick seems to work. I would advise to quickly print an external spool holder before the internal small supplied spool runs out to hold larger more economic spools on the outside back.

Purchased for my 9 year old son for Christmas. We had it printing in no time and I would highly recommend this 3D printer. After a few walk through of the process required to find 3D print file online, download and convert file for FlashForge, load onto USB and open in 3D printer he is ok doing it himself.

Premesso che l’ho restituita, ma tengo a precisare che la stampante va davvero bene, con il suo software proprietario anche se si principianti si riesce subito a stampante, inoltre la stampante ha l’autolivellamento del piatto che non poca roba per le stampanti della sua fascia di prezzo, il problema che mi ha indotto a riconsegnarla che manca il piatto riscaldato, pensavo di riuscire a farne a meno, purtroppo ho avuto problemi con del warming sulla stampa del PLA nonostante aver messo la colla o usato la lacca forte. per il resto se si ovvia a questo va veramente bene.

Great little device
Having purchased this at Christmas for my two boys of 8 and 9 I set it up early and can say it was straight forward out of the box. Easy to set up with the built in software and was printing within an hour. I found out that the latest version Flashprint would find the machine through wireless on Windows 10 but a little searching on the internet found that early versions on Flashprint was the way forward. You have to manually put in the IP address but that was the only issue. Do not tighten the level knobs too tight for leveling the base on first setup. this can cause issues for this process.
Printing is very good with items found on TinkerCad for testing but I found on the first times of printing I was getting lifting of the edges. There were many topics of this from others on the internet but I found that cleaning and drying the surface then applying the included Invisible purple glue all over and waiting for that to dry/disappear, then applying another layer where it was to print has solved that problem completely. I check the base level each time and can not print large items without any issues whatsoever.
Highly recommend this product for a beginner like myself and my boys. It has not stopped since purchase.
Esta impresora 3D me a gustado mucho, funciona e imprime perfectamente, la calibracin de la cama es muy buena y fcil de realizar.
Por ponerla una pega decir que el lugar donde va colocado el rollo de filamento es pequeo para rollos normales, solo entran los propios de ellos, aunque con un soporte exterior puede poner y imprimir perfectamente.

Indicata per principianti
Stampante adatta per i principianti, molto comodo il piatto estraibile, visto che stampo quasi esclusivamente con pla non sento necessit del piano riscaldato. La precisione pi che accettabile e anche stampando con layer abbastanza grossolano le stampe risultano belle. Unico neo che non mi fa dare 5 stelle il fatto che il sensore che fa il livello semi automatico mi mantiene il piatto di stampa un po’ troppo distante dall’ugello e con stampe molto grandi i pezzi ai lati si staccano. Bella da vedere, posizionata in sala sulla scrivania a fianco del computer. Molto semplice da utilizzare anche il programma, un po’ limitato, ma ideale per iniziare. Contento dell’acquisto
Amazing product!!!! I ordered an anet a6 earlier this year and after hours of messing around with the bed plate or other issues I gave up with it fairly soon.
This printer is a total contrast to the anet a6.
Leveling is painless. The print is very good quality!
Extremely satisfied is an understatement. If you’re going to get into 3d printing then this is perfect. I had a print which was 100 times better than anything my anet managed to make in under 15 mins from opening the box.

Had the Flashforge setup in about 25mins from unpacking to test print. Am a model rocketeer and wanted to print rocket parts. Look at the pics. Only the cone needed a little light sanding and a red sharpie. I do recommend that you print with supports and a raft. A lovely printer.

Es muy facil de poner en marcha y necesita hacer pocas cosas para realizar la primera impresion. Resulta un poco problematico despegar las impresiones realizadas
Ich bin begeistert, dafr das ich nur mal ausprobieren wollte. Der Drucker ist so einfach einzurichten was mir schon mal sehr entgegen kam. Ich habe jetzt schon einige 3D Teile aus dem WWW nachgedruckt und bin sowas von erstaunt wie einfach das ist. E ist natrlich kein Vergleich fr selbsterstellte Drucke,da bin ich noch sehr weit weg von.
Es gibt diverse Seiten wo man fertige Modelle nachdrucken kann und das macht echt spa.
Das Gert ist Relativ leise und sehr gut verarbeitet.Der Preis ist sehr gut fr das Gert.
Meine vollste Empfehlung.

Et bien c’est effectivement une machine trs simple prendre en mains (j’utilise SketchUp avec plugin Sketchup STL pour modliser et FlashPrint pour grer l’impression, tous 2 sont gratuits et facile matriser)
Une fois l’imprimante connect au rseau et la mise jour qu’elle propose, le menu est en franais et les rglages sont super simple faire.
En fait il faut juste apprendre charger ou dcharger le fil et caler le plateau, il suffi de suivre les indications de l’cran sur l’imprimante.
J’ai trouv des tutos trs facilement pour la mise en route et pour comprendre les bases sur le site flashforge (slectionner le modle “chercheur” car c’est comme a que finder et traduit sur leur site).
Donc me voici dans le monde de la 3D avec un dbut d’exprience trs prometteur et sans prise de tte !
Un dernier conseil, ne chercher pas faire tous de suite faire de la trs haute dfinition car la standard et dj trs bien et j’ai eu des loups sur la haute dfinition car je ne sais pas encore tous paramtrer. Les rglages du logiciel FlashPrint par dfaut fonctionne trs bien.

This is a great little printer. The print area is surprisingly large and although is not heated it has a nice texture that helps your prints stick. I find using a raft the best for this printer as it removes any concerns about bed adhesion.
The supplied filament is utter useless, I would bin it and not even bother. Get a decent quality PLA and it will make a huge difference to the quality of your prints. It’s easy to convert this to use 1kg filament spools be printing a hanger that hooks at the back of the printer.
Build quality is excellent and it prints straight out of the box with no setup apart from leveling. The leveling process is very straightforward with guided instructions on the screen.
Print quality is the same as other printers I’ve used that cost 5x the price.

La consiglio a tutti perch semplice da usare e ha un mini schermo tuch per poter gestire la stampante.
Due parole: semplice e intuitiva
Arriva preassemblata e pronta all’uso, le istruzioni non ci sono in Italiano, ma in inglese, e comunque con le figure si capisce bene ugualmente. Il software anch’esso di facile installazione e utilizzo. Una volta montata e collegata al pc o a una pen drive, va fatta la calibrazione, semplicissima.
Sul collegamento voglio dire che abbiamo avuto un problema a collegarla con la usb, perche diceva ci mancavano i drivers che abbiamo avuto difficolt a trovare, abbiamo ovviato collegandola WiFi con l’IP che ci ha suggerito sul display. Semplicissimo.

Comprata ad un prezzo veramente eccezionale, prima stampante 3d e devo dire solo 3 cose SEMPLICE da settare semplice da usare e stampa veramente ottima anche n modalit standard. PLA in dotazione veramente buono, ho provato a stampare un po’ di tutto cose semplici e cose complicate e ma avuto il minimo problema, unico difetto se cosi s pu chiamare un tantino rumorosa.
incroyable mais vrai … aprs avoir investi dans deux imprimantes en kit … aprs avoir t du 2 fois !!! voici mon opinion sur la FLASHFORGE … premirement elle accepte toutes sortes de fils PLA quelle que soit la marque !!! deuximement le rglage du plateau il est conseill d’utiliser une feuille A4 pour rgler la buse et le plateau ??? ce ne fut pas mon cas !!! j’ai suivi tout simplement les instructions de ma machine h HOP !!! plateau rgler en un quart d’heure !!! je lance la premire impression du cube avec le fil fourni … je reste sur mon popotin … Le Cube est parfait !!! j’en suis dj ma 15e impressions … figurines… photos relief … la cl USB fonctionne parfaitement avec l’imprimante le logiciel flashprint tlchargement gratuit sur internet et trs facile comprendre… alors ? qu’attendez-vous ?

Questa e la terza stampante 3D che acquisto le prime due erano in kit di montaggio (Anet e Colido) .La stampante arriva con tutto il necessario per iniziare a utilizzarla da subito (presente anche una bobina di PLA).Dopo aver tolto gli imballaggi , la calibrazione e molto semplice e guidata dopo circa un ora sono riuscito a stampare. Non e presente un piatto riscaldato ma devo dire che le prime prove con la colla (in dotazione con la stampante ) sono veramente buone.
Ottima stampante per principianti e non solo , molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto.Spedizione rapida e giunta nei tempi prestabiliti.Le foto e video allegati sono sempre effettuate da me in condizioni di utilizzo reale.
Una buona stampante, ottima per un primo acquisto.

Tornassi indietro spenderei qualche soldo in pi e prenderei un prodotto superiore come dimensioni di stampa e con letto riscaldato, ma comunque sono contento di questa mia prima stampante 3D.
Consigliata solo come primo acquisto.
La ho utilizzata per introdurre bambini e ragazzi al mondo della stampa 3d e penso che sia un ottimo prodotto. Semplice da utilizzare, affidabile, ben progettata e ben costruita. Il SW e’ minimale ma funziona. Il vano che ospita la bobina di PLa e’ piccolo ma e’ possibile utilizzare bobine da 1kg se installate esternamente (in questo caso bisogna disattivare il sensore del filo: se si utilizzano bobine piccole consiglio invece di attivarlo)
La meilleure fiabilit en toute simplicit. De superbes rsultats sans devoir jouer avec les paramtres, en restant en 0,2 les rsultats sont excellents. Flashprint est simple et bien mieux que Cura. Un excellent choix en 1re imprimante avec en plus un prix en baisse. Seul bmol : ce n’est pas la plus simple en maintenance (changement de buse et autre) et trs peu de tutos sont disponibles, heureusement la fiabilit de l’imprimante minimise ce bmol qui apparat seulement aprs l’usure normale des pices.

The only real downside is that most 1kg spools don’t fit in the internal spool holder but it’s easy to print and adaptor to attach to the machine.

I absolutely love this printer as I genuinely think it’s the best thing out there and they could most likely get away with charging much more for it. If you have any concerns regarding it’s quaility then I can assure you that you will not be dissapoited by this machine!

Fue sacarla de la caja y empezar a imprimir, desde entonces no he tenido ningun problema. Lleva bastante horas en funcionamiento y sigo sorprendido de lo bien que va.
Ho acquistato questa stampante un mese fa. Non avevo nessuna esperienza nella stampa 3D, ma con questa stampante tutto molto molto semplice. L’allineamento del piatto assistito (e non automatico) molto funzionale.
Le impostazioni dello sliser (programma che si interfaccia alla stampante) sono semplicissime. Per fare le prime prove basta scegliere tra risoluzione bassa, media e alta. Dopo a ver preso la mano si possono abilitare le impostazioni avanzate che danno la possibilit di scegliere qualsiasi cosa del processo di stampa.
Il collegamento wifi veramente comodo, meno fili in giro.

Highly Recommend
The product is of very high quality.
The print speed is really fast, and it does not give up on quality with the speed.
I am amazed at how quiet it is (if i put on cheap ear-bud headphones with no sound playing i have to concentrate to hear it, as it is so quite when running)
From un-boxing to having it up and running was approximately 10 minuets, which included loading the free filament and performing a full bed level.
The first print i did was Benchy(which is included in the pen-drive so no PC was needed to print it) this was a brilliant print, all the circles where perfect, and the arches where clean with no stringing, i was however surprised how well it stuck to the build plate(even without the included glue-stick).
The second print was a small figure, which i put through the included slicing software. I was amazed at how it came out as i forgot to add supports to a 180 degree overhang, so there was a part which was pretty much floating mid air. however it still handled it as it appears to have attempted to just extrude one line of filament to bridge(i stopped that one mid way though to start again this time with supports).
On this new print with the supports i found when running the default print temp of 220c was a little high as there was a lot of stringing (the supports are really easy to add and configure, with the auto add support option in the included software making adding supports a breeze) .
once i lowered the temp i found that the prints where perfect. And updating was also easy. I have to admit i have not put it onto my wifi as i prefer the print from usb drive option.
If you are interested in a 3d printer you won’t go wrong here, though as i mentioned the prints can stick quite well so i may recommend getting a PLASTIC spatula or even some guitar picks to help remove from the bed(which slides out, and appears to be glass with a print-bed sticker on top).
Also the UI on the touch panel is highly intuitive, which honestly is a pleasant surprise. Just a note in the quick-start guide the English starts halfway though so skip to there, and all the tutorial videos on the included flash drive are in Chinese, however some of them do have English subtitles. However honestly it is that easy to set up it is unlikely the videos would be needed.
Brilliant piece of kit for the money, with a couple of gotchas
Although I’ve used 3D printers for a while, this is the first time I’ve actually bought one for myself – having recently started a business that could benefit from 3D-printed objects, this is a way of testing the water before I move on to something bigger/better/more expensive.
I wasn’t familiar with Flashforge so I was a bit cagey despite all of the good reviews I’ve seen, however these fears were unfounded – the unit arrived _extremely_ well packaged and was pretty much ready to go out of the box. The machine comes with a 600g spool of filament (but see below), a bunch of tools and a USB stick containing test files, some manuals written in amusingly fractured Engrish and installation packages for their FlashPrint software – Linux users can rejoice because amongst the installation packages are 32-bit and 64-bit .deb files which are Ubuntu/Debian friendly.
Size-wise, consider it to be a cube approximately 18 inches on a side – this means it’ll stow away in a corner quite nicely and the enclosure makes it look rather more presentable than the cheaper DIY jobs. The printer will talk to the outside world via USB or WiFi, the latter being a snap to set up. In operation, it’s quiet … apart from the fan on the extruder unit which seems to run non-stop whilst printing is in progress; I’m hoping it might quieten down a bit in use, but even so it’s bearable – it’s quiet, but not silent.
Now for the gotchas:
– Levelling the print bed can be a real faff, but stick with it. Flashforge seem to be aware of this and have a couple of useful guides on their website.
– Whilst the filament caddy is very handy, it is _not_ big enough to take 1kg spools; 600g is the max – fortunately, some bright sparks on Thingiverse have made an external spool holder for the Finder so if you plan to use larger spools it’s well worth your while printing it out (will take about 6hrs altogether but the result is worth it)
– Since the print bed isn’t heated, you _will_ need tape/glue/whatever to hold large prints down. Fortunately, a purple Pritt stick was supplied(!) although I had to provide my own tape for the print bed.
TL;DR – for a ‘first’ 3D printer this is unbeatable for the price – easy to use, relatively quiet in operation and it won’t blow a hole in your bank balance. Like everything else, it’ll take a few goes to get all the settings dialled in but once you have the results are worth it.

Great little printe
Great printer, works straight out of the box. I had a little problem updating the firmware but the help email included in the box did a great job and helped me sort everything.
I have only printed a couple of robots and a vase so far but they look good and it’s easy to smooth out with a bit of sand paper.

Einfach Filament einfdeln und im Men den Ladevorgang” aktivieren.
Dann noch das (halb)automatische druckbettleveling Ausfhren (damit die Dse berall auf dem druckbett gleich weit entfernt ist)
Und schon kann es losgehen.
Positiv:
– die beiliegende Software berechnet die bentigten sttzstrukturen
– das Gert kann per wlan angesteuert werden
– eine weitere Kopie kann ohne pc direkt vom Gert gedrckt werden, da die Modelle intern gespeichert werden knnen.
– wichtig fr meine Frau: das Design —> geeigneter als ein eventuell freistehender selbstgebastelten

– meiner Meinung nach kann das wlan nicht verschlsselt werden —> drckt dann der Nachbar mit???
– durch die offenen Seiten relativ staubanfllig

I bought this printer for my 10 year old sons birthday in September, so it’s been with us a fair while now and had a decent amount of use (by myself as well). The unit itself is surprisingly compact and easy to use. If you are a novice at 3d modelling then your first destination should be the thingyverse website where you can download a vast array of models which you can load up and print off with ease. Once the initial novelty has worn off (my son generally only wants to print of video game related objects), the printer has stayed useful in the way a good tool would. I have used it to replace obscure items such as the headrest clips that shattered on my hot-tub. I have also managed to replace broken parts on vintage action figures. It’s in these situations that you realise what a revelation a 3D printer can be.
It has had one or two wobbles. We’ve had a couple of prints that left unattended jammed and resulted in a molten mess on the print bed. Fortunately this has caused no lasting damage and have so far been fairly isolated incidents which I would put down to a slight error in levelling the print bed. We’ve found that sometimes a snag in the filament spool can scupper the odd print too, but this isn’t the machines fault. I guess the message here is that not every print is faultless or error free, but by no means are they troublesomely frequent.
My only other observation is that print times can be long. I have no frame of reference from other 3D printers, but its not uncommon for larger more complex prints to take several hours. But for the money I am very happy with what we have. My son uses it regularly and is engaging him a productive way, and I’ve found more uses for it that I originally imagined. I paid 399.99 for this, and note the price has increased significantly at the time of writing. At the original price I recommend unreservedly. Currently I feel its a little steep.

Rapida, precisa ma sopratutto facile da usare, la livellazione del piano rimane manuale per sei aiutato dalla macchina che ti avverte quando hai raggiunto il punto giusto. L unica pecca e il software di disegno che un Po limitato e la versione migliore costa 150.

After the horror of the Biqu Magician this printer has really changed my view of 3d printing. Very good detail, very well specified printer and not only works flawlessly but prints from WiFi. Really really impressed and solid build quality .

Prima di questa stampante 3D ne avevo un altra compata qua su Amazon, ma purtroppo aveva grossi problemi e dopo neanche un anno mi ha mollato e si rotta, ho comprato questa e devo dire che dopo sei mesi ne sono entusiasta! Anche se il piatto un po piccolo per quello che devo fare io perfetta, il Pla al piatto aderisce alla perfezzione senza uso di lacche, colle e nastri adesivi.
Tiri fuori la stampante dalla scatola la attacchi al pc via Wifi, quindi senza cavi, installi il software e incominci a stampare quello che vuoi, e tutto quello che hai stampato rimane nella memoria interna della stampante per ripetere la stampa anche senza che il pc sia acceso, ha anche una porta usb per connettere le pennette e anche in questo caso stampare a pc spento e un belllo schermo touch a colori per accedere alle opzioni e vedere i modelli in memoria direttamente dallo schermo.
La stampa in modalit standard veramente pulita e precisa, un altro mondo in confronto alla mia vecchia stampante.
In poche parole una stampante consigliatissima che riesche a dare grandi soddisfazioni, promossa a pieni voti!!

Within and hour of opening the box I was printing. The levelling process took me a little time, but I was to blame. (Make sure you don’t tighten the bolts under the platform too much!)
You get a full roll of PLA filament (mine was white), and that filament goes a hell of a long way! I didn’t want to use any of the prints included on the SD card, but after a quick look on Thingiverse I was sorted.
I did my homework before buying a 3D printer, and as a complete noob to the world of 3D printing, the others seemed a little too complicated. The Flashforge printers seemed to give the best plug & play experience, so I went for this one. I wasn’t disappointed!
It has been said that this printer gives just as good a finish as the printers that cost 1000 upwards, and I can’t argue with that. The finish to all of my pieces has been smooth and clean. In the beginning I had a little issue with cobwebbing on some pieces, but this was from having the printer too hot. The ideal temperature for the PLA I use is 210, the printer has a default 220 setting.
I have two complaints however. The first one was that I received a European plug with mine, so I had to buy a UK plug adapter, and the instructions were in German. I had to set the printer up using online videos, which wasn’t ideal.
The second complaint is that I can’t stop buying PLA filament, as I have a load of projects I want to try!
If you are looking for a high-performing 3D printer on a budget, buy this one. You will not be sorry you did!

Printouts are high quality, and the printing software with it is simplicity itself. Unfortunately I’ve had to only give 4 stars, as it arrived with a European plug, and instruction book in German. I spent a year in Germany, so have European to UK adaptors for electronics I bought back, but this could have prevented the ‘plug and play’ for anyone else!

To be honest I bought this not knowing what I would actually print with it. Since it arrived it literally hasn’t been turned off. Super simple to set up.. setting up the WiFi wasn’t explained great in the manual but I got there in the end. I can just print direct from FlashPrint now. Really pleased with the quality of printing. Top Tip .. Blue Painters tape for the bed is a must… it comes with glue which kind of works but the tape is much cleaner and easier and so far everything has printed perfectly.. This printer has opened up some really exciting avenues. Really looking forward to exploring this new hobby. Just get one !

When it arrived, it was working within half an hour and printed up one of the test items. It’s quiet in operation and appears well built. Control is either from the touch screen or the installed software on the PC. I’m an experienced engineer and nothing phases me much. I use CAD programs a lot but need to learn the 3D creation program which is supplied, but seems a bit basic. Windows 10 comes with a 3D program. All in all, a great 1st 3D printer.

Bought mine ‘nearly new’ from a certain online marketplace for 300. For the price of a decent laser printer you can be printing real objects very very quickly. The kids love making bits and pieces in TinkerCAD and the prints have never had a serious failure to date. There is a learning curve with 3D in general – watch a few videos to learn about adhesion, rafts, supports etc. but the default settings are spot on and you’ll be up and running. Play with some Thingiverse models to get inspiration!

The kids love making bits and pieces in TinkerCAD and the prints have never had a serious failure to date. There is a learning curve with 3D in general – watch a few videos to learn about adhesion, rafts, supports etc. but the default settings are spot on and you’ll be up and running. Play with some Thingiverse models to get inspiration!

I believe that the Flashforge Finder is as close as we will get to a 3D version of desktop paper printers that are so ubiquitous now. Plug it in, send it a print job, remove the print from the printer. For printing existing digital 3D models, it can’t get any simpler.
It really is at the stage where desktop paper printing is now; you can print something out with ease and if you wanted to get into designing your own things, there is a whole world of utilities out there for you to try.
Look around at 3D printer forums for discussions of the Flashforge Finder, you will find nothing but praise for it.

I’m new to 3D printing and wanted a printer that didn’t require too much tweaking.
I went for the flashforge finder because of the reviews and the reasonable price for a starter printer and I must say I couldn’t be more happy with it.
Sure it is only designed for PLA and the unheated print bed may be a little small for some but it’s fine for me as it’s easy to print in PLA filament (a good material and bio-degradeable under the right conditions too!) and you can print larger things in parts if needed.
I looked through YouTube prior to purchase for any user tips.
Set up was minimal though and pretty easy and I was doing a test print in no time.
To date I have had only one print slightly raise up from a corner but after that I made sure that the print bed was well cleaned after removing a print and I always level the bed before a new print and use a thin,even spread of the supplied glue stick provided with the printer and have had no other issues to date.
I’ve not used the onboard wi-if as I just connect up to my mac with the cable supplied, load the print project then I can disconnect the mac and carry on using it while I leave the printer doing it’s thing.
I’m really impressed with the print quality although obviously the higher settings will take longer.
( I can just get on with doing something else and periodically check on the print to make sure it’s doing ok.)
I’ve been using thingiverse for prints but want to learn some CAD programs and have a go at creating something myself.
In short, if you want a good easy to use 3D printer for a reasonable price you can’t really go wrong with the finder.
