Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSuch a great produc
I found the assembly process to be very easy, and the trim of the grass turned out great in terms of performance. Additionally, I was impressed by the fact that I could adjust the height of the trim, which I found fantastic.

I wanted to share my experience with this product. The assembly process was a breeze, and I was really pleased with how well the trimmer performed. I was especially impressed by the adjustable height feature, which I found to be fantastic.

On the downside, I did notice that the product’s durability seemed a bit flimsy, especially the bucket.

Tough, effective, easy to use and clea
I have used this mower for a year, and its a good one for clearing rough lawns of dry grass. It’s easy to use, but you do need to clean if properly, dry the underside out before storing, and fold up the cable to stop it twisting. The main defect is that I cannot unbolt the rotor blade in order to sharpen it. Reasonable value for money.

    Good but slight flaws
easonably priced lawnmower which does a great job of reasonable length grass. It is very light, which is great and it moves very well.

The wheels also make it highly manoeuvrable and it is very easy when you need to turn it.

The collection box is large (much larger than our previous mower) but is a little flimsy and we have trouble keeping it clipped together. Sometimes. if the back clips give way, you get showered in cut grass but that has only happened a couple of times.

The cable (which is not a plug-in, it is integrated) is not particularly long and for medium to large gardens you may need an extension cable.

Overall, no real problems and it is a big step up on our old mower – definitely a budget mower to consider.

    A great purchase
Having owned this mower for a while now I can say I am well impressed with how well it cuts the grass. It is light, easy to use and gives the grass a great cut. The only thing I would say negative about it is the waste box is a little flimsy but it does the job of catching the grass well. All in all I am well happy with my purchase.

    Grea
I’m so happy with this lawn mower, after trying in vain to get through the longer grass and thicker grass in my garden with my old mower which would just mow it flat or get tangled, I gave in and read through reviews and purchased this, this cut straight through the grass my old mower wouldn’t entertain, collected the grass nicely in the container, was easier too use and push along, easy to change the blade height, I have massive garden and has done the job lovely, emptied the container about 10 times so that gives you a idea of how big the garden is, did both the gardens in a day and just gone over a few bits to beaten up today

Awn just fills the grass box. Perfect.

    Does it’s job well
Had a cheaper mower previously and you really can tell the difference. Light, easy to use and with a handy adjustable handle for cutting height, it’s perfect for small/medium sized lawns.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWORKS WELL.
I ordered this because of its fairly powerful motor. When I unpacked it, I thought that the grass cutter box was rather flimsy as it’s in three parts which click together but, after assembly it seems perfectly satisfactory. I’ve put some heavy duty sticky tape along the joins which should reinforce it very well. I bought this because my previous Bosch mower died. Assembling the parts was a little fiddly but only took me 15 minutes even though I didn’t bother to read the instructions! The control handle is adjustable for two heights and has the on off switch on both left and right sides so it is easy to use with both hands and to change hands while mowing without stopping. Mowing height is easily adjustable. I used it immediately to cut tall grass which had not been cut for six weeks and was 2 to 3 feet high. It cut this grass extremely well. Easy to manoeuvre and quite a long mains cable. Seems to work well!

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersVery impressed with this mower - Flymo all the way for me now!
I bought this mower to replace an aging cordless model as the battery was no longer up to the job – it lasts ok, but the motor was not as powerful as it was and the battery kept over heating which meant I spent more time charging/cooling down than I did actually mowing.

This was a breeze to put together, took no more than 10 mins and that included a quick look at the manual to see how the grass box fit together.

First off this mower is light – much lighter than my old battery operated one (to be expected as no heavy battery), however this is really manoeuvrable.

Second it has a very large cutting deck, which means less time to mow – as it mows more in a single line than my old one.

The best thing by far though was how tall grass it cuts. I used it for the first cut of the season and the garden was a bit like Jurassic park (without the dinosaurs) in other words the grass was long. I put it on the highest cut settings and it made light work of the tall grass which was around 6 inches in places.

The viewing window in the grass box lets you see how full it is, but I just kept going until I had finished the lawn (which was damp in the very tall grass). This mower took it all in it’s stride. I was able to complete 3 fair size lawns in super quick time.

I have tried a number of other brands since owning the first Flymo’s many years ago, but having used this one I think I will stick with them in the future.

The only negative is the cable is short at 12m. One lawn is double that, while the other is 1.5 times that, with the 3rd being smaller but much further away from an electrical outlet so I needed to use a long extension cable, but the disadvantage of the cable is smaller than the disadvantage of using a battery operated mower!

I got this mower in the spring deal, but to be honest, I would have been happy with it had I paid full price! Great mower and I can highly recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat lawnmowe
Really great lawnmower that delivers a consistent quality cut every time. Easy to empty out and to set up and go. My only area it could improve is if it was cordless as it does become a bit of a pain rearranging the cable out of the way as you glide across the garden but a small price to pay for a solid lawnmower that gets the job done.

I normally don’t have much luck assembling Flymo products, but this time together with the instruction video on Utube it went much better, must say the instruction video is for a slightly different version, but get the gist.

Actually most people struggled to assemble the grass collection box, taking more than an hour to assemble, but the 360VC has improved on the previous version and this part took me less than a minute, it is now much easier.

For me I found fitting the upper handles was the difficult part, unlike the upper handle is not two separate pieces it is one combine, so it is tricky I found to hold one in place while setting the other and then gradually screwing both in.

You either need two people or you need to prop the handle up on something when screwing it in, I found my bed was most effective.

The blade adjustment is a little hidden, it is under the left side, not easily visible, but simple to use.

My first use, and it was awesome, cut like a dream and did my front lawn first with the lawnmower and then went around with the Flymo trimmer (the trimmer was hell for me to assemble 🙂

    Perfect for the job
Mower arrived on time and was easy to put together and the first cut of the grass with it is very good. Using the mower is also easy and being lightweight helps.

Golden Review Award: 67 From Our UsersHeavy and yet a bit flimsy too??!
So we bought this to replace two older mowers, both of which had given good service over 30 years.
First impression while unboxing this was it’s a bit plasticy. The handle went together easily, but there is some flex at the point where it screws onto the plastic mower frame so I’m not sure how long it will last…time will tell I guess. The grass collection box came in three pieces, and lets just say that it required some severe talking to, largely in the form of colourful words, while trying to put it together. A knife was also used to coax bits together…that or scare it into submission.
Finally, having got the thing together, I took it out for a test mow. Now we have a very long, very uneven sloping garden that would provide a test for any mower. There are unexpected holes (thank you Mr Badger), a slalom course of odd trees and shrubs and a carpet of acorns near the end that tend to fly in all directions when mowed over. Ouch.
How did it behave? Well, it’s slightly bigger than the old mowers but it was noticeably heavier as well, which made me a little concerned as mowing is already a work out, however it seemed easy to push about, I just couldn’t do my usual fling it about sideways that I could do with the lighter ones while hoping over stones etc. Maybe that’s not a bad thing as it does stop me putting my back out. It did mow very cleanly, and changing the height is simple with a single ratcheted lever.
It coped remarkably well with the unevenness and general bumpiness of the lawn, skimming over old half hidden trunks and paving stones with no problem. The large blade coped well with the occasional stick or fragment of lost clothes peg and didn’t stop or slow down regardless of what ended up underneath it. It was loud enough to give the frogs near the hedge a warning as well, so that’s good!!
The cord is long enough to not have to shift the extension too many times so I’ll count that a bonus.
The grass box wasn’t impressive… The top kept lifting off, and I never seemed to be able to get it fixed on correctly, so I just gave up on the box and things went much more smoothly once I’d taken it off and consigned it to the cellar, where possibly the mice will play in it.
So. Did it cut well? Yes. Was it fast at mowing a large bumpy annoying garden? Yes. Is it heavy? Yes, but I didn’t find that as difficult as I thought it might be. Is it well made? Jury is still out on that, maybe it’s the sign of the times that plastic is the main thing used in all cheaper things these days. Is the grass box any use? Hmmm only if you want to constantly fiddle with it. Is it loud? Not more than any other and it does warn the local wildlife, so bonus.
All in all, it’s not bad for the price in a sale, and if it coped with our lawn, it will cope with just about anything!!
