A must buy for all home recording musicians
What an amazing little beauty this is. Records perfectly. Works really well with my DAW. It is without a doubt the best home recording interface you can get for less than 300. It’s easy to set up and easy to use. Simply plug it into your laptop or PC and follow the instructions. The only thing I would recommend though is that in order to prevent things like latency or drop outs, you’ll need to have 8gb of ram in your computer. This ensures crystal clear click free recordings.

I’m happy with this purchase. Whether to use to record sets of your musical talents but if you’re a DJ and utilizing an app showcasing your DJ skills, this will weed out feedback and background noises. In addition, my comments of this bundle package:

I think this is a fantastic kit and really recommend it to anyone who is thinking of upgrading to an audio interface and xlr microphone. Before I’d bought this, I had been using a Shure MV88+ which comes with its own app and for a microphone designed to be used with a mobile phone it is very good. I’d lost some of the cables I needed and needed a good quality microphone urgently for some work I’m doing with an ensemble that has moved online. So I decided to upgrade to the Scarlett after being advised to by multiple people.
Cost – this kit (or bundle) was 209, including a Scarlett solo interface (3rd gen), xlr cable, xlr microphone and some Scarlett headphones. The Shure 88+ I mentioned is currently selling for about 179. So for all you’re getting, I think this Scarlett kit offers fantastic value for all you are getting. The only extra thing you’ll need to buy is a microphone stand, but these are pretty cheap too and you can pick one up for about 20-25. The kit came with an attachment to screw into a microphone stand, so I literally only needed a stand and not a clip.
Ease of use – the interface itself isn’t too difficult to use and the other bits are pretty simple to set up. I did have some assistance from my brother with setting it up on my laptop and installing/using a DAW. But now it all seems pretty simple by myself. You need to download drivers for the Scarlett and there is no info/instructions inside it to tell you this. Perhaps this is obvious to someone who’s been doing it for a while, but for a beginner like myself I had no idea. So make sure you google Focusrite drivers and select the correct one, check which model you’ve bought.
Quality – now as mentioned I’m a beginner, but I’m a professional player and can hear what’s good and what’s not! I think the microphone is probably a fairly budget one, which makes sense as it’s part of a kit designed to get you going. Don’t let that put you off though, it’s certainly not a bad microphone at all. I’m happy with it and there’s a big difference between this and a usb microphone. I was really impressed with the sound quality and am very happy with it. In time I probably will upgrade to a better microphone, but I don’t feel like I need to. The interface itself is great and everyone I spoke to told me focusrite was the way to go. The headphones are excellent, great sound and they feel like high quality. The cable is good, I can’t hear anything bad on the recordings I’ve been making.
Overall – I think this is a fantastic deal. It’s excellent value for money, easy to use and great option if you’re wanting to step up to a more professional recording set up. I highly recommend.

Just a tip – If you have an older mic stand (like about 5 years old ones or more), the holder provided might not fit your existing stand. You may have to take a new age mic stand (the ones with slimmer rods) for the perfect fit.

Worked fine for about 2 months….then I started to have sound issues. I keep getting static to my headset or to the zoom speakers when chatting with friends. I have to constantly unplug and plug the mic cord back in the alleviate this problem. It is frustrating.
I bought a new cord to see if that fixed the problem. It did not. It is either the mic or the interface that is the issue.
I called the extended warranty from Asurion and it doesn’t kick in until after the first year. They gave me a number fo Focusrite (turns out to be American and long distance, not toll free) and told me there was a live chat option on their website, I haven’t been able to find it.
Paid over $300 for a bunch of frustration…..I use the setup at least weekly and it is becoming more of a hassle than anything.

This thing is straight up fantastic. I’ve never used an audio interface before; I’ve been playing guitar and drums for 25 years, but only as a hobby. I’m not a recording artist, I’m not in a band, I’m not a touring musician, etc; I’m a busy married guy with three kids who wanted an easy way to play bass – without investing in an amp that would blow the roof apart and piss off the neighbors. The Scarlett 2i2 Studio is just the ticket for that.
Everything about it is simple. Plug the interface into your computer, and within seconds you have a pop up that takes you to Focusrite’s website with excellent quality, well produced video tutorials that walk you step by step through the setup process. You’ll be playing/recording almost immediately. The recording software downloads are pretty big so they may take a while to download depending on your internet connection speed, but the process itself is extremely easy.
For a total novice, this was a piece of cake to use – and I can play my bass right through the headphones with no amp. Jump on YouTube and queue up your favorite tunes and jam right along with them, all through the headphones. The condenser mic in the kit is surprisingly well built with great sound quality, and combined with an inexpensive Pyle boom mic, it’s a nice little rig (other’s may disagree, I’m certainly no mic expert and have very little experience with recording gear…I’m just going off of the testing I’ve personally done). Plus, the combination quarter inch/SLR inputs are about the slickest little things I’ve ever seen. This setup is great for practice and lessons as well as recording your own music, if that’s your thing.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Audio-Interface fr Podcast-Aufnahmen mit einem Gast (physisch) und guter Qualitt auch bei Aufsagern/Remote-Podcasts fr mich alleine als Sprecher. Hauptkriterum waren Preis/Leistung und einfache Bedienbarkeit, da ich im Audiobereich Autodidakt bin und Plug&Play-Lsungen bevorzuge.
Das Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 erfllt diese Zwecke in ersten Praxistests zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit. Zwischen Auspacken, anschlieen an ein Macbook und ersten Aufnahmen vergingen zehn Minuten und die Qualitt empfand ich als herausragend.
Eine womglich wichtige Information, die mir vorher fehlte: Da ich nicht vollends sicher war, wie die Qualitt des mitgelieferten Mikrofons (ein CM25 Kondensatormikro) des Bundles war und ich ohnehin ein zweites Mikro brauchte, habe ich mir nach einiger Recherche fr Podcasts das Rode Procaster dazu gekauft.
Diese Kombination aus dem Scarlett 2i2 und dem Rode Procaster hat (fr mich) berhaupt nicht funktioniert. Halbwegs ertrglich sind die Aufnahmen in Punkte Lautstrke nur mit voll aufgedrehtem Gain und wenn man wirklich absolut verlsslich und ohne Vernderung 3-5 Zentimeter dicht in den Procaster reinspricht. Das ist vielleicht praktikabel fr Leute, die Texte lesen, aber fr einstndige Gesprchssituationen doch serh herausfordernd. Ich habe nun im Nachhinein gelesen, dass die Kombi vielen Probleme bereitet und das Scarlett wohl fr den Procaster zu schwachbrstig ist und man da technisch noch mal nachrsten muss, damit die Kombi luft.
Ich habe mit dem mitgelieferten Scarlett-Mikro absolut ausreichende Ergebnisse erzielt und bin auch mit dem Kopfhrer (Qualitt, Tragbarkeit) sehr zufrieden. Als Zweitmikro habe ich ein simples Marantz MPM 1000 dazugekauft, und diese Kombi mit dem Scarlett funktioniert auch sehr gut.
Noch ein kleiner Tipp fr Leute, die das Scarlett 2i2 mobil einsetzen oder wegpacken wollen: Das Bundle kommt in einer sehr wuchtigen Verpackung, die aber kaum zur dauerhaften Aufbewahrung/Transport geeignet ist. Am besten gleich einige simple Utensilien (gibt spezielle Boxen) fr Kabel, Mikro, ggf. Kopfhrer und das Interface selbst dazukaufen. Ich habe mir bei Amazon alle entsprechenden Behltnisse, noch eine Spinne samt Transportrucksack fr 70 zusammenkaufen knnen.
Takes a while to set up if you're an absolute beginner, but it's worth it!
I’m a complete noob. So setting things up took a while since I use a basic PC and I had issues because not all the softwares that come with this set are compatible with my system. So setting up took a while. And then it was noisy I realised. A friend of mine checked everything and told me the issue was the mic’s. So I got a replacement.
And since the softwares were already set up when I bought it the first time, all I needed to do the second time around was hook everything up to the PC and I was good to go. There is no defect in this one, and it records such clean sound.
Again, I’m a noob, and I’m unaware of all the cooler stuff out there. But I do know that this is a great studio set for this deal, and I’d 100% recommend.

Como tarjeta de sonido (ms auriculares y micro de condensador) para principiantes, est muy bien. Pero me da rabia que te “vendan” el paquete de software como un regalo valorado en ms de 1000 cuando casi todos los regalos son gratis en no solo para los compradores de la scarlett.
Por otro lado, poda traer (como otras tarjetas de esta gama) un cable de USB-C a USB-C (trae solo el de USB-C a USB normal). Y ya que se trata de de un “todo en uno”, le falta algo muy importante: Un pie para el micro. Es imposible usarlo sin pie, ya que se trata de un micro de condensador, o sea, que toca comprar uno.
Pero en general, es muy buena compra.

This is a great package by Focusrite which comes only in the iconic focusrite red colour.
-Large diagrphram mic – gives a good natural sound on vocals and instruments. Includes a goo quality (red) XLR cable
-Headphones suppied with a screw on 3.5mm to 1/4″ stereo jack adapter. These have a great sound but can distort easily. Annoying when you spend ages on your mix thinking it is that only to find out it’s the headphones!
-Dual input audio interface. Well built aduio interface with two combo jacks, phantom power, monitor and line outputs. Includes USB cable to connect to computer and comes with a variety of great software packages including Protools (if you and your computer can handle it) and Ableton Live.

Adatto sia per professionisti che per principianti che vogliono pulizia e qualit dalle loro registrazioni. Io lo uso per cantare e per doppiare, ma anche per chi suona fa la sua porca figura (c’ l’ingresso apposito per gli strumenti elettrificati).
Il marchio palesemente serio e professionale: l’intero procedimento di installazione avviene tramite dei video davvero ben fatti che, con le credenziali fornite, si possono consultare online in qualunque momento. La confezione in cui arriva tutto top.
Solo due pecche.
1: l’assenza di un sostegno (treppiede da tavolo o gomito fissabile) per il microfono, per lo si trova senza problemi anche su Amazon a pochi euro.
2: come gi riscontrato da altri commenti su questo prodotto e questo venditore (e prima dell’acquisto ero, infatti, un po’ titubante), c’ la possibilit di ricevere un prodotto leggermente difettato in qualcosa. Nel mio caso, purtroppo, il cavo faceva cortocircuito. C’ chi metterebbe 4 stelle, ma il venditore, come per tutti gli altri casi che si sono verificati, ha risposto prontamente alla mia segnalazione e mi ha mandato un cavo nuovo di zecca che ha risolto il problema.
Per cui, di nuovo, se il prezzo attuale conveniente per voi e cercate un set di qualit – non esitate!

I purchased this as I was in need of a set of studio headphones and the ability to connect my electric guitar to my PC for working on music in Ableton. Some observations:
– HEADPHONES: Audio quality is very good. I was using some Sony WH-1003X Ms to produce previously, with the main issue being that audio quality was only useful when it was powered. The Scarlett headphones were able to easily meet that quality. I personally find the 1003X-Ms far more comfortable – for my head shape/ ear size the Scarlett headphones feel a little tight, and get quite uncomfortable when used constantly over a few hours. I purchased replacement ear padding for the HyperX Cloud 2 headsets and used them on the Focusrite headphones, and that solves the discomfort issue.
– INTERFACE: So much utility in the 2i2 interface itself. Being able to set the volume/gain on each channel, and being able to hear your inputs in near-real-time is amazing. The latency in monitoring your own voice very low, which is great for checking your own voice volume/ quality. Being able to power/ depower the Scarlett Mic direct from the interface is very useful.
– MICROPHONE: The microphone is crystal clear and very crisp. It’s got quite a bit of heft to it, and is compatible with most threaded microphone mounts. I don’t see a need for using anything like a pop filter with this mic. I’m very happy with the microphone in particular – I’m no audiophile so more experienced audio hobbyists probably have more detailed opinions on the mic and whether it’s worth the price.
Overall I am quite content with this purchase. Hopefully the headphones will break in a bit more, but even in that case I think that the 2i2 interface and microphone are very good.

I am no musician, producer, or sound engineer, but the included mic and headset seem to be pretty decent. The only gripe would be about the included XLR cable. It comes to you folded instead of rolled in a coil and therefore is reluctant to let go of the kinks. I replaced the cable with an AmazonBasics one, which rolls up nicely. (I know... OCD... but I still give it a 5-star rating because it does what it is supposed to do).

‘Focusrite’ … A solid well made and presented piece of equipment. Looking forward to using this for ‘live’ instrument and vocals music recording. I do like the headphones and also use these with my audio music system. Worth a mention …. I found the software download and activation for ‘Pro-tools’ which is linked to this package, from ‘Avid’ to be a bit difficult to access and set up using ‘iLok’ . A rather confusing procedure and not too well explained … try ‘YouTube’ ! Also note that you appear to have to ‘log into’ the ‘Avid’ website in order to use this software once you get it set up. Not so good if you are recording with no ‘wi-fi’ around ! I haven’t yet tried alternatives such as ‘Ableton’ or maybe ‘Audacity’ ? Nevertheless first impressions for hardware suggest ‘looking good !’

Suoer Easy, Super Quality even for a noob like me
Very easy to use on Windows 10, connect up, power on, find the install file once connected, job done! Don’t forget though if using daw like audacity, one microphone = one mono channel – it confused me, thought it wasn’t working but I’m stupid so, thats that.

Per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualit prezzo questo un ottimo prodotto. Principalmente utilizzo questa scheda audio per produrre musica amatorialmente a casa, ed molto adatta al mio utilizzo. Ho acquistato il pack in cui sono inclusi cuffie e microfono e anche loro sono davvero ottimi prodotti. Per il momento non ho avuto alcun problema.

I have had my older scarlets for years and I accidently dodged up the xlr input so needed a new one. I loved that this one came with a decent mic and headphones. I use it all the time for work – works well with zoom and protools if you work with either of these programs. Brilliant product.
Great for recording guitar and vocals at home
I bought this so my wife and I could have some fun recording guitar (me) and vocals (her) at home. It is great for that purpose. It comes with access to Ableton Live Lite which I find very easy to use, and that is a major bonus as I have tried Cubase in the past and found that difficult to use.
The sound quality of the guitar recording and the vocals using the mic provided is great. (I added a pop shield to the mic).
The headphones are pretty good quality too, so overall the package is very good value for money.
I have never used a USB audio interface before so have nothing to compare it to, but for my usage this is brilliant, and is much easier to use than I had expected it to be!

This is a fantastic piece of kit. A friend told me about it. I looked it up online. There are so many youtube videos showing you how to set it up and use it. It is so easy to use. I use it with Garageband. I use it at the moment to zoom music to other people and the quality of the performance outstrips most of the other zoomers.

Premetto che sono un appassionato di musica e home recording ed aver integrato questo Bundle SCARLETT stato veramente il massimo che potessi avere. Il rapporto qualit-prezzo credo che sia il pi economico che si possa trovare in rete. Ho applicato la scheda direttamente sul mio PC WINDOWS core i3 con grande successo. La registrazione risulta completamente pulita e priva di rumori, mentre la qualit del microfono equivalente a quelli dal costo di alta gamma regalando tracce audio come in un vero Studio di registrazione. Le cuffie a corredo danno quel tocco di eleganza che fanno di questo pacchetto un vero gioiello.
L’imballaggio risulta essere curato e protetto.

I’ve been noticing that if my Mac is asleep, when “wake it” my speakers (attached to the Focusrite” pop every time. This never has happened before with any other audio interface I’ve had attached to my system.

Perfect for beginners
Almost a perfect deal for beginners and I cannot recommend it enough.
The interface itself is aesthetically very pleasing with a very premium feel and build quality. The output is very good quality and I was especially pleased with the clipping LEDs. The only real negative I have with the interface is the usage of a glossy finish on the front and back, whilst it looks nice, glossy finishes should be nowhere near where you expect hands and fingers to be.
The included condensir really shocked me. On initial unpacking, I was a little worried as it seemed to lack any sort of weight, but as soon as the plastic came off, those worries went away. The feel in the hand is superb and once again very stylish to the eyes. Upon playing back the test I recorded, I was shocked at how clear the audio was, even without any processing. Are there better microphones on the market? Of course, but this is aimed at the beginner and at its price, easily takes on the competition. My only issues are very minor, but personally I’d like a little bit of weight to be added. Additionally, as this is aimed at the starter, a small table stand solution would be nice, but if this isn’t done right, it could actually cheapen the feel of the product. I genuinely don’t understand why Focusrite don’t sell this microphone as a standalone.
Unfortunately, the headphones were a huge disappointment after experiencing the interface and microphone. The headphones were not very accommodating for my slightly larger-than-average head resulting in them feeling like they were squeezing my head. Moreover, they use an on-ear cup design, which I personally don’t like. So far, my issues have been subjective, so if you have a smaller head and like on-ear cups, then neither of these will be issues. However, what will be an issue is the lackluster audio. I really was not able to use these for a full session as the audio was just really tinny. Focus rite clearly focused on the interface and microphone for this bundle and the pros of those vastly outweigh the cons of the headphones. I’d highly recommend using a separate pair of headphones with this bundle.
The included XLR cable is fantastic. It is high quality and of good length, if anything, its probably too long considering its target audience, but its definitely one I’m keeping in my kit bag. In contrast, the included Type-C cable is much too short and just feels cheap. Easily replaced though and rather have it than not.
Overall, grab yourself this and another pair of headphones and you are sorted for the early days. For a beginner, I cannot recommend this enough and potentially the only other product I’d suggest is the 2i2 from the same Scarlett range.

Focusrite make high end audio for recording professionals. This is an entry level kit. The setup is fairly simple.
I literally plugged it in, used Reaper to record on a MacBook Pro. Didn’t even have to install any software to get started. Not sure what some previous reviewer was complaining about.
I have recorded vocals, guitars. It is pretty decent. The headphone are good. There is some spill onto the microphones, but at this price range it can be forgiven .
In the past I have had to buy each separately, but having all there in a neat affordable package is awesome. Perfect for Youtubers, singer songwriters, Podcasts, Voice over artists – Highly recommended.

I was debating between getting this bundle or the HyperX Quadcast mic and I’m glad I went with this.
The whole thing was nice and easy to set up, the Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen has a nice solid feel to it with easy to understand knobs with light rings to show audio clipping, the mic has some nice weight to it and sound from it is nice and clear.
The only downside with this bundle for me is the headphones, the ear cups are to small my ears and end up with earache after an hour or two of wearing them but the sound from them are pretty good.
If your looking to move away from USB to XLR mic this is a good bundle to start with.

La instalacin una vez pillas de que se trata no es un problema. Como una camara web por USB con la tarjeta de sonido. Estoy trabando con Lunix Mint sin problemas.
Ahora viene la parte dificil. La gestin de los archivos y la edicin. Poer eso solo se arregla viendo los tutoriales de you tube del pragrama que cada uno use.

Cracking piece of kit, solid build (anodized aluminium casing) easy to set up, and plenty of tutorials out there to help you do what you need to do to get the best out of it.
Still finding my way round what I can actually do with it, but I created a short, random mix (rock style bass and drums) within the first hour (this includes the set up time too by the way!!)
I am using the Bundled Ableton software which I am still finding my way through the plethora of effects/instruments/loops etc. I have tried the pro tools software too but i doesn’t seem as intuitive (to me anyway).
I will update as my learning curve allows

Davvero un ottimo acquisto! Ho pr so questo “kit” per iniziare a registrare delle canzoni… che bomba ragazzi! Per il prezzo non posso chiedere di meglio! Scheda audio ottima, installazione pressoch istantanea nel momento in cui collegi il cavo USB-C al Computer. Latenza del segnale pressoch pari a 0 (anche registrando dal mio piano elettrico.). Qualit delle cuffie davvero ottima, suoni ben bilanciati (bassi, medi e alti sono tutti ben equalizzati. Ho apprezzato molto il fatto che i bassi si sentono molto bene e molto profondi, ma nonostante ci risultano perfettamente regolati – non sono troppo pompati.) Il microfono risulta anch’esso di ottima fattura. Tutor in metallo e bello solido. Qualit di registrazione molto elevata (con il filtro Anti-pop il massimo).
Vale davvero l’acquisto! (Ovviamente non dovete paragonare ogni singolo componente ad altre marche magari da 1000. Ricordate che sono 250 per microfono, scheda audio e cuffie. Ottimo!!
This is a fantastic set, the Audio interface is known for its cost to quality ratio and is probably the best you can get for 1 to 2 inputs, the Mic seems very good, especially for podcasting – clean and good pickups (you will definitely need a pop filter though) the headphones sounds crisp and linear, although they are more on than over the Ear so they have taken a little longer to soften and do have some sound leakage. The interface itself does what it should good range of knobs and buttons to get you running quickly. While it doesn’t have a dedicated input bar for levelling the dial halos do a good enough job to get your kit all levelled correctly. The biggest gripe which ironically is also a plus is the audio software suite, it’s a solid selection but because of so many different sources, you bounce around setting accounts on multiple websites and downloading from many places. Would have been nicer if they could have packaged them into one. But it is a small gripe and just means an extra 30min setup time if you want all the extras.

I wanted to start recording some music at home – basic vocal and acoustic guitar, and this product was the perfect buy for me. This is great bang for the buck, and especially for beginners like me, I didn’t have to think about what gear to get. This is an all in one package – mic, mic cable, interface, software (comes with Ableton Live lite and Pro Tools first). If you have a guitar and a laptop you are good to go. You might want to buy a mic stand, a pop filter and a guitar lead cable in addition too.
If you want to record acoustic guitar through a different mic, the Scarlett 2i2 bundle is the product you should go for, and you’ll also need to buy an additional mic.
Overall, very adequate sound quality at the cheapest price for beginners. Got me to play, song and record regularly – 10/10

Really happy with the Solo Studio. Easy to use and sounds great.
I had problems with the Pro Tools software and on research, so did quite a few others, but that’s nothing to do with the hardware, just some issues with Pro tools itself. I’d therefore recommend going for the other option in the software package that comes with it or using existing software you already have. That’s just my personal experience.
Overall, extremely happy with this product.

For the price you simply cannot beat this configuration. My daughter and I both take music lessons and record and have had nothing but an amazing time working with this configuration. I originally purchased a configuration for my daughter and it was impressive not just to us, but also to her music teachers. I shared the experience with members of a city orchestra and they wound up buying some as well for home work and even for working remotely in a professional fashion. The price is unbeatable for the quality.
The other thing I like about this, as well as my orchestra friends, is that if you don’t mind having your laptop around (which most of them do already) you can easily port this unit and its accessories around without fear. The durability for travel is wonderful.
The first impression after unpacking and trying to use the product was horrible. I infact thought that I wasted my 19000rs. Reason, the softwares bundled with product was not at all user friendly for a user who wanted to record songs. If I have to use that software and record my songs like I do in smule I should atleast spend an year to learn the software. That’s when a small cable came for my rescue. Since the cable provided with product was one side normal USB and other side mobile C port USB I was unable to connect with my mobile. So I bought another cable from Amazon which has both side USB C port. After receiving cable I connected device to my mobile. Nothing happened. I was little sad. Then I remembered about OTG option in phone and enabled it by going to settings. Vola, the device got powered on. I opened smule and it was recording in crystal clear clarity. So if you are singer who wanted to connect this to your mobile and record using smule or any similar app, get a USB C to USB C port cable so that you can use this. In would recommend Focusrite itself to provide the cable so that that will help buyers..

To be honest – I was doubtful about purchasing this kit but I have been pleasantly surprised. The kit is easy to use and is an excellent sound quality and build. The software in the package is easy to use if you follow the full support you get included on the Focusrite website. Great little mic, good quality headphones and nice interface unit. The recording quality is in excess of what I had expected. The only small problem is that the DAW (AVID Pro Tools) is a ‘lite’ version which, although easy to use, only allows you to have 3 projects at one. For anyone starting out on using a digital studio – this is an excellent entry level starter pack. Recommended.

Scarlett nunca falla. Ya haba odo hablar de este pack, pero lo vea algo excesivo por el precio. Pero ahora por 200 es un precio muy muy bueno. Los cascos son hasta ahora los mejores que he tenido, super cmodos y tienen un soido espectacular. El micro muy bueno, responde muy bien a las frecuencias altas para las voces, y ya ni hablar de la interfaz, tiene muchas funciones, entre otras la de intensificar la frecuencia media alta, para que responda mejor a la hora de grabar voces. Muy recomendable para home studio.
Pour un budget raisonnable pour de la Hi-Fi, ce pack convient trs bien pour mettre en place un Home-Studio.

I’m glad I bought the set, it is perfect for my music making! Prior to getting this I used my wireless gaming headphones, that was not a good choice.
Setting this up was pretty straight forward, I installed the software first then plugged this in. It worked straight away and had been almost flawless since.
The headphones provided give amazing and natural sound, through them I listened to my older music and started realising flaws in my mixing. With these my music has drastically improved now that I can hear frequencies with detail and natural depth. My only concern is that they don’t feel as premium as they sound, they are not terrible in build quality, but I do worry I could break them easily.
The microphone gives amazing sound quality in my music software for vocals and stuff. It is very sensitive and picks up every little sound and detail with high clarity. My only issue is outside of my DAW the computer plays back microphone audio that stutters and I can’t work out why. But in my DAW it works perfect!
As for the unit itself I love it. It is simple, has a solid metal case with simple to use controls. I think it is also very attractive. It uses a usb type c port on the back for power and to interface with the computer. This is good and bad, good because it’s type c for great data transfer, this is needed to ensure high performance and sound quality with your software. It’s kind of bad as it feels quite vulnerable to damage. This is not av problem though if like me you keep the unit stationary and have nothing behind it.
I’m very happy with this item, it has given me a much better appreciation for sound quality and has helped me make sure the music I make is cleanly and accurately mixed. Thanks to the microphone I can also add my vocals to my music and know they are represented with great detail. It has also prompted me to buy a proper high Res music player so I can enjoy the details I put into my music.

Plug it in, download the drivers, and you’re good to go. Maybe 5 minutes of setup time. It’s important to uninstall ASIO4ALL beforehand, though.
Unlike using ASIO4ALL, this thing doesn’t keep you from using other audio devices. My DAW picked it up and you can select it like normal, but other audio devices work normally at the same time. I can switch from recording to listening to something else seamlessly.
The sound quality is good and the noise floor seems pretty low. It’s so much better that I’m seriously considering re-recording some of the stuff I did previously, where the audio went straight into my sound card, despite the fact it would mean hours more recording.
The headphones are cheap, but they get the job done. I’d recommend getting a replacement or using what you already have, since that would probably be better.

I cant speak for other’s but as a beginner I think this system is great. The sound is awesome and the equipment seems well built. Definetely go to Focusrite’s website to register your equipment and follow the getting started guide. It helps ALOT! They also have videos on some of the software and I’m sure there are more on youtube. I’m slowly learning my way around Abelton Live Lite 10 and like it so far. I’m not sure why I cant get Pro Tools to work, it keeps telling me I can only have one project at a time, but I haven’t started any projects with it.
Just a heads up, if you buy this product and buy a mic stand with a male end, you can remove the chrome insert on the mic clip so it will fit your mic stand. (See pics)

Great for recording or live streaming
This works superbly well. The sound quality is high and the condenser microphone that comes with it is great for vocals or instruments. Some handy plugins and access to software too. Was really pleased overall.
Focusrite has been known for its great build quality and feature set. The physical dials are solid and not wobbly like you might see in cheaper versions. It’s worth a little extra money if you think you will be using this piece of equipment for an extended period of time.
I like the fact that they included a 3.5mm to quarter inch adapter for the included headset and am also glad to see that the interface now uses a USB-C port. However, the USB-C cable that is included is a USB-C to USB-A. If you happen to have a USB-C to USB-C connector and have a port for it on your computer, I would highly recommend taking advantage of it. Microphone has a good hefty sturdiness to it when you get it. The included headphones are not extremely good, but will suffice for most projects.
For folks using Adobe Audition or similar software for recording, it’s worth mentioning that the device class be said to ASIO vs MME since it may not recognize the separate inputs otherwise when monitoring the audio.
The only reason I gave this product one less star was simply on the part of Amazon fulfillment. While I understand they have a lot of items to ship, I actually had to return the item TWICE. Because the first two times they sent me the item, it wasn’t the item that was described. They only sent me a Focusrite 2i2 interface, which might have been fine if it also came with the rest of the bundled items, but it was only the interface. The second time they sent me the same interface, which was not the Focusrite Solo Studio Bundle. I spent a good amount of time chatting with 3 different Amazon representatives that happened to be overseas to try to get them to understand that all I wanted was what was in the picture and had them note that it needed to be a “BUNDLE”. That was over a 2 month process, but thankfully received my item on the 3rd attempt. So this was extremely surprising for me considering that it was an item that was also sold by Amazon and not a third party vendor.

The sound card itself is awesome. The universal input allows for a plethora of cables. Microphone is pretty standard and the headphones unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. I have experienced cracking and sound dropout,
BUT… Reviewing this as the KIT itself, good value for money and great to get anyone off the ground with recording in their home studio.
I’d recommend the soundcard everyday, the kit including headphones and microphone not so much.
If you’re serious, I’d buy the sound card alone, and then purchase some much higher quality headphones and microphones.

First class sound quality, I’m so pleased with this. Their tech support is second-to-none.
My only frustration is that the bundled software (Avid) turned out to be incomparable with the latest Apple software on my MacBook Pro, so do check that – as I should have done. Fortunately, the Ableton Live software works for me.
I was slightly hesitant due to very mixed reviews, but I decided to be optimistic and it paid off!!
Out of the box took 20 mins to set up and that was due to the hardware. I decided not to make an account for the extras just yet as I just wanted to test the mic quality and I already had a copy of Ableton Live Lite.
I was slightly torn between the Scarlett Studio and just the Scarlett Solo and a sampson SAC01 Large Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone which would combined have cost about 130. Wow, let me tell you these headphones are the best sound quality I’ve ever experienced, not a long wear headphone for comfortability . The microphone is also the best my vocals have ever sounded. I really like the design of the hardware and the red accent. I thought the red mic cable was particularly snazzy as I also have the Akai Mini black with red accents. If you’re dithering at this price point- it seems to be excellent value!! I don’t know other people have had so much trouble but you basically plug and play. (Although I think you have to unplug the audio interface to actually install the software). I’ll try the free extras later as I can imagine they cause some issues but those would be software issues- I can’t fault the Scarlett Studio and I have a very good feeling this is going to be the best thing I’ve ever bought to have a creative outlet which sounds PRO!!!

Saca un sonido limpio, el micrfono tiene una sensibilidad increble y gracias a los auriculares que trae el pack puedes sumergirte en la grabacin y edicin de una forma muy cmoda. Y si nos vamos a la esttica es preciosa, el acabado en aluminio es impecable, el color rojo le da distincin y los controles del frontal son suaves y firmes. La instalacin es sencilla con forme la conectas salta la autoinatalacin y se actualiza directamente, Windows me la reconoce a la primera y se configura fcilmente en adobe audition. Sin duda me alegro de la inversin.
I use the Focusrite Scarlett at my University for creating sound based art. I have finally had the pleasure of buying my own after renting one out. This kit is well worth the money, easily compatible with MIDI and even audio editing software. In the future I will most likely buy another Focusrite product.

Trovo che sia veramente una scheda ben fatta, di solida costruzione. La qualit del suono per me eccellente, tenuto conto del prezzo e del suo campo di applicazione. Se la cava bene anche in abbinamento a chitarra elettrica o basso.
risultata molto facile da installare, il mio Mac non ha avuto problemi nel riconoscerla. Unico neo, ma solo per me: alcuni software non riconoscono la scheda (Audacity per esempio) mentre GrageBand funziona alla grande ed esporta facilmente la traccia mono del microfono in file stereo. Il sound che produce mi ha soddisfatto molto.
Focusrite con questo bundle conferma la sua voglia di avvicinarsi ad ogni tipo di cliente, offrendo in un colpo solo 3 componenti fondamentali per chiunque voglia approcciarsi al mondo del recording musicale. Il bundle consigliabile per un utilizzo da “home recording”. Microfono ottimo in questa 3rd gen, anche se ce ne sono molti altrettanto validi a poco prezzo in commercio. Le cuffie fanno il loro. Mi ha soddisfatto tutto. Sicuramente Focusrite sinonimo di garanzia.

MUSIC RECORDING/PRODUCTION
Everything works well and easily. There are plenty of tutorials you can simply follow for setup on mac or pc all the way to working with either DAWs system you use that is included (Ableton live and ProTools first)
Heads up – The version you get of Ableton live is a specially made version handed out to companies like Focusrite to advertise the product (either the DAW or Focusrite I guess) If you want more limitless options it will cost you for better versions of Ableton. As for ProTools, some people I’ve talked to have said you need to pay a monthly subscription.
I think that the condenser mic does work well but I would like to upgrade it in the near future.
The headphones are painful to use. Sound quality is fine but after a few minutes of use, it does hurt my ears and I’m constantly adjusting them.
Overall I am very impressed by the expensive feel and look of the system but wish there was some sort of option to pick and choose what peripherals I get in the package. Although, I understand that this is a combo set sold by Focusrite and that I’m being a bit greedy for wanting the best bang for my buck. 🙂

Als Hobbymusiker bin ich von dem Scarlett hell begeistert. Sehr einfache Bedienung. In Verbindung mit dem Mikrofon kann ich selbst auf kleinstem Raum tolle Musik machen. Ich spiele laienhaft E-Gitarre und Bass als reines Hobby. Mit dem Scarlett und meinem Mac macht das richtig gute Laune.
