Keep your guitar safe
Not too heavy not too light, but guitar is definitely safe from harm, which is what I want. Very good protection from the outside shell and very well made interior that fits a full size classical guitar snugly.
Not convinced by the locks and hinges for air travel although they work fine in domestic setting. This case is perfect for long-distance travel by road or rail, but too cumbersome and bulky for regular public transport.
Nice case, solid and well made
Great case, we’ll built only drawback is that the neck of the guitar does not sit on the neck brace in the case. Apart from that it fits snugly every where else.

Apart from that shock – its a mighty fine case well made stylesd ad designed – but a left hander just wont fit!
TBF I took a scalpel and cut out the space ( the lining /substrate is expanded polystyrene covered with black plush fabric and then restuck the plush with some copydex – it fits perfect . but not as expected hence 4 not 5 stars.

Good Budget Gator ...
Got this Gator case for a Les Paul Special shape guitar. It fits but very snug and not perfectly angled for the classic LP shape and needed a bit of extra padding under the body . The case is fine for home storage and short trips. However, this IS NOT a flight case and would not be sturdy enough for the rough handling that comes with gigging. But for the price and my needs it’s perfect.
Ibanez RG565 fits perfectly

Nice Guitar Case But Could Be Improved
It’s such a lovely case and fit my guitar perfectly but I’ve received a faulty one and as you can see from the pictures and video, it doesn’t close properly
Great Product but Imperfect Match!
Bought this for my new SG style Vintage VS6 in the full knowledge that only the specified interior “body” length was shorter than that of my guitar, half an inch in fact.
But, already having two other Gator GCs, albeit differing models, I was keen to stick with a known and trusted brand. Also, exhaustive searching failed to find a viable, hard body alternative from any other brand.
Surely enough, on arrival, the measurement in question proved both accurate and problematic, but, with a little tweaking using a rubber mallet, short length of 2″ x 1/2″ wood and a cloth (tea towel) to protect the interior lining, I was able to compress the relevant area of the underlying foam moulding (molding) without causing any visible, exterior damage.
A bit of a pain, but worth the effort to achieve what is pretty much a perfect fit.
A suggestion to Gator: It wouldn’t hurt to modify the design specifications so as to incorporate that little extra space in order to accommodate more brands of SG style guitars.
There are, for instance, a lot of Vintage VS6 users out there who would love to have a viable hard body case, but are forced to compromise and use only soft cases and bags.
Such a “notified” modification would surely mean more Gator sales.

Very sturdy and well made and lovely lining fit a full size bass guitar perfect.
Perfect for Les Pauls
Bought for a new Les Paul – more to keep the dust off while it’s at home rather than for lugging around outside. Perfect, snug fit for the guitar with plenty of storage for tuners, leads etc. Really impressed, especially at this price.
Gator GC-LPS Deluxe Molded Case
Fits an Epiphone LP-style guitar perfectly.
Not a flight-case, but perfectly good enough for transport by car.
If I had another LP-style guitar that needed a non-flight case I would buy another one of these.
Very sturdy but not suitable for all body sizes
Excellent case. Used for several years now to protect my main bass guitar (Marcus Miller M7 5 string).
Two handy compartments for cables and other bits and pieces. It only gets 3 stars for Storage Capacity as I have two other basses (Ibanez SGR) and a cheap one where the bodies do not fit.
So be warned that this case may not suit all bass guitar bodies (neck and headstock length is less of an issue) and some alterations to the interior may be required.
Good case for JS22 7 string
I found this for 50 used ‘amazon-like new’, it arrived with the tags on, no signs that a guitar has ever been placed in the case, bargain.
The guitar xl case has enough room for a Jackson js22 7 string.
Fits ESP LTD EC-1000VB
My ESP LTD EC-1000VB fits inside perfectly. No movement once inside at all. Lightweight with decent quality materials. Nice bit of storage space under the neck section for a tuner and picks etc.
Best Airline Optio
I had to fly my son overseas with his guitar and this was exactly what we needed. It will survive the baggage handlers. My son uses a 3/4 sized guitar and this fits perfectly. It just has a bit of extra space below the bottom of the guitar. Once he moves on to a regular sized guitar, he will still be able to use this case.

OK the cheaper end of the market, however my Les Paul fits like a dream, worth the money for sure, why spend a ton of money unless you have a very high priced guitar. Would take a good knock I am sure. I liked it and am fussy about what I use and spend on my guitar… Rock on.. sorry had to finish with that.

I love it .. & I plan to buy more Gator Cases for some of my other guitars . Arrived in perfect condition .. Five stars would have been given but I don’t know about if the case was entrusted to airline baggage or other Bands road crew .. Lol .. But for me it’s perfect .. I love the four studs on the bottom so it stands without having to be leant against a wall .. It’s really light & perfectly balanced the way the handle is placed so easy to carry .
A quality guitar case
Pleasantly surprised by how well made the case is. Slightly cheaper than some alternative brands but the case is extreamly strong and perfectly made. Interior my LP perfectly and looks the part.

Generally good case but don’t expect it to take any real knocks. I noticed that the bottom had cracked where the feet are from being put down.
Worked as it should
It got my grandsons guitar from the UK to Shanghai without any damage so I guess it does the job. An epiphone dot fitted well.

Nice, gets my vote fellas
Just about fits the guitar so I guess actually a great fit as it won’t rattle around (Yamaha Pacifica 112V). Just watch out if you’ve added strap lock buttons, makes it a very tight fit.
But other than that – sturdy, nice interior. Shame the cubby holes don’t have lids as if you open the case if it’s leaning on a wall the stuff will fall out. But hey…just don’t do that and you’re golde

Gator Mandolin case
A good, strong, lightweight case. I brought two to replace gig bags for a Moon A style and and Eastman F Style. The mandolins both fit pretty snuggly in the case and are well protected. The lock is pretty useless otherwise it would warrant 5 stars.

Tuff and protected
I needed to find myself a decent case to protect a fairly expensive guitar. So, it was paramount to find one that had some security and was strong enough to protect my guitar as much as possible. I had heard about these being tested on TV in some rigorous situations (being dropped from CRANE, AT SOME HIEGHT) AND THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I REMEMEBERED. MY GUITAR IS NOW SAFE AND SOUND AND IT IS A GOOD LOOKING CASE AS WELL. It fits my Gretsch guitar snugly and it is German made and that just speaks quality and it is!

fantastic strong light weight case which locks
much better than we thought it would be, the lining is soft and guitar is well padded, its a strong sturdy case, which locks, added bonus, we bought it for our granddaughter who was flying to Sweden to study, its lightweight as well which was perfect, , it also has pockets to put things in like extra strings and plucks, I would strongly recomend this case 100%

This case is very tough and robust, the clasps which there are 4 of, are very well made and snap closed securely. Once it’s opened you’ll find a nice soft perfectly shaped interior that your pride and joys fits snuggly into.

Perfect fit for Sire Verison 2 v7 Jazzbass
Bought this for my Sire Version 2 v7 jazzbass and it fits snug and does not move about whilst carrying the case. The case has good storage compartments for pedals, cables, picks, strings etc. Would recommend for this bass.
Perfect case for my Les Paul
This case is top quality and literally a perfect fit for my Epiphone Les Paul guitar. There’s a generously sized compartment to hold my tuner, strap, capo and leads etc.

This has to be great value for money. You can hardly buy a second hand hard case for less than 50. Solid, good hinges and lock – comparable to much higher end cases at about half the price.
I used this for a parlour 12 fret Levin guitar (1948 – 2-3 mm action, all solid model Rio, pre factory move and before the Martin buyout and subsequent ruination of the oldest and strongest European competition… which I just wanted to tell someone who knows what I’m talking about and might appreciate it. It is lost on just about everyone else I bore with that information!!) rather than a ‘classical’ and the fit was good. I would buy another when needed.

Fits Yamaha Guitars
Nice case. Spent quite a bit of time checking to see if my Yamaha guitars would fit since all case internal dimensions given look too small compared to actual measurements of my guitars
However pleased to find on delivery that it’s suits both my F310 and FG720S. Both a nice snug fit without being too tight.
I bought this as the nearest fit for a Gretsch Electromatic Jet G5220. The internal dimensions given are spot on, and the Gretsch is marginally bigger than a Les Paul in some places. However, the foam insert is of pretty solid construction and there is little or no wiggle room, which is a good thing. So, after removing the two screws from the side which help secure the lower foam insert and gently prising out the foam, it is possible to carefully peel back the fur. Then after marking the foam with the guitar outline, some surgery is done with a scalpel. Replace the fur, tuck neatly back down between the foam and the outer ABS case and voila, custom fit.
I would say this case is easily as well made as the USA Fender case I have for my Stratocaster. The ABS is a good thickness, it fits together well and the latches are positive. All in all, recommended. I presume it would be an off-the-shelf fit for a Les Paul guitar, but as you can see, with some care, can be made to fit similar shaped single-cut guitars. Can’t go wrong for the price.
