The case arrived in great condition, wrapped signicantly in plastics to prevent damage.
The inside is nicely lined for a guitar to keep it snug and protected from damage.
Unfortuanlty, cross refrencing this case to the defualt offered by epiphone , i was under the assumption the case would fit both left and right handed respectively, which since i was cursed being left handed ( not really), my guitar wont fit as the shape inside for the guitar exact to the les puals body ( right handed).
I understand this issue be minor since we are in the minorty but since no cases specify left or right, i would like to see this mention in the description, if it does specifically fits one.

Well Firstly I actually ordered Gator GC-LPS Deluxe moulded case to place LTD EC series guitar into, only when it arrived today, great delivery by the way. what turned up was in fact the Gator GC- Dread hard case which fits my Tanglewood round back very nicely..hence the 4 stars……… not what I ordered at all, but after pondering about whether to send this back or not, ive decided to keep it and find me another case for my electric from somewhere else as they clearly don’t know the difference !!! so for the dread case it gets a 4* but for the incorrect order its a 1* for quick delivery and that’s it…….. muppets!!!

This is a very nice case both inside and ou
Bit of a delivery glitch but eventually I received it. This is a very nice case both inside and out, but my Gretsch Streamliner is 45mm deep and the inside cavity is 80mm, with the result that the base sits low in the case, raising the head of the guitar. This can be seen in the photographs of the black guitar in the listing on here. It isn’t a huge issue but it does mean when closing the lid that the head is being ‘squeezed’ a little. A pad under the guitar body will sort the problem out, about 30mm thick.
Good value
Good solid outer plastic with a fur lined interior. I suspect it’s expanded polystyrene underneath it all. There’s enough room for my fender xii strat, which has a fairly standard neck but a headstock too long for a standard strat case. The body fits, just but that’s ok. Lock seems a bit simple but good enough to keep naughty fingers off in the pub. This review refers to the extra long case
A good sturdy case. Everything fits together well. Internally well fitted, and this should be good for my new mandolin when it is finally delivered. A steal at 27 (I don’t know why the price fell for one day).
My one gripe is the pathetic excuse for a lock. I tested it – I had to force the key round to lock. It then would not unlock. The flimsy metal of both keys twisted. I was then able to force the lock open, without much effort, which shows what a waste of space the lock is. I have thrown away the keys so that no one is tempted to turn the lock again. This is why I give 4 stars not 5.
Good medium strength case
Good medium strength case, but don’t pile much weight on top of it, so it’s not a “flight-case”.
Does the job well.
Fits my 12 string concert sized guitar very well. Seems solidly made but not too heavy. I have confidence that it will last well and do the job for years to come. Good value for money.

I purchased this case I recently bought a Mexican telecaster and diddn’t trust my gig bag to protect it. I have owned gator cases before so When I saw this was on sale for 59 instead of 75 I jumped to the opportunity.
There were some cheaper cases I found but most of them were a curved shape specific to each guitar model and I wanted something more universal to throw any of my guitars in. The cheaper cases all seemed to be made of wood, Whether wood is better or not for protection I am unsure as I know most high end cases are wooden but this heavy duty ABS seems like a no brainer to me.
The case is really robust and seems really durable. I don’t know if its on the level that id want to throw it on a plane but it wouldn’t surprise me if after doing so it remained intact. The case is really light too despite its rigidity which is a big plus since most of the weight when you are carrying it comes from the guitar itself.
The case has a tag on top to write any contact details if it was lost (although a good idea I do wish it was removable as it is glued on) and on the side a simple gator logo. Around the case you’ll find a strong carrying handle and 3 clips to hold the case closed, one of which is lockable with the included 2 keys. Inside the case everything is perfectly lined with a soft, black, fur-like material. While the moulding inside is firm and holds its shape very well there is still some flexibility if things don’t fit perfectly as I could when trying my Schecter Omen Extreme FR in this case. The headstock of this guitar is slightly longer than most but with a bit of pressure everything squeezed in firmly. My Telecaster however was slightly different, the body is slightly shorter than the common Strat shape so the body had some free space to move (only an inch or so) up and down, not horizontally though as the neck is held firmly in place. This isn’t a massive issue since the inside is so well padded but if you plan to use this with just one guitar check the inner dimensions listed on the product page. Also inside there are some pockets for some cables, strings, straps, capos or whatever it is that you carry with you which is a nice touch.
Overall a great buy and I strongly recommend this case especially if you just want a one fits all type deal. Even if this case was not on sale I still would have picked it up and been just as happy with it as I am now. Yes there are cheaper cases but I guarantee you won’t be getting the robust strength and quality.

Fit my classic guitar (admira flamenco) perfectly (I did measure it first) enough room to put a T-shirt on top it and tuck it in to the edges.
Survived 2 short Europeon flights with the case receiving some very minor scuffs, although I honestly wouldn’t like to keep testing it.
Case is not super heavy and feels pretty sturdy. Small compartment on the inside which could out a few things in but not a lot. Its a little bigger all round than a ps4 controller.
My only complaint is the key and lock is a bit weak and fiddly. You do need it as the latches can be knocked whilst being transported.
Overall, great for the money and considering classic guitars are already super light this really isnt a hassle to carry is worth protecting your guitar.

Solid and inexpensive
Very nice semi-rigid case that fits classical or parlour guitars. Not much room in the ‘accessories’ compartment, so not easy to store a lead if your instrument is electrified. Good value for money.

Quality, strong case
Really very nice – fits both my Squier Tele and my ’80 Stratocaster very snugly. Sturdy, well-made, plush interior with plenty of space for strings, picks, tuner etc. Liked it so much I bought another one straight away.

I nearly chose a genuine Gibson case for over twice the price, and I’m so glad I didn’t. This case fits my Les Paul like a glove, the attention to detail is stunning, with cut-outs for the switch etc. It is really sturdy and the locks feel strong and secure. Gibson only supply padded gig bags these days, and I didn’t feel comfortable with that in case the guitar took a knock. I would recommend this case to even the most travelled musician – And I have seen the abuse that can happen by roadies etc. 🙂

Case is very very sturdy, and heavy; not impossible though. The lock is its weakest point and I bent one of the two included keys trying it out for the first time.
The inside is very snug and lush and as long as its quality lasts I will be happy with it.

Great case for my Tanglewood 12 string guita
An excellent guitar case. Fitted my Tanglewood 12 string dreadnought guitar perfectly. Exactly what I wanted, a strong well made case to protect my guitar. Good clips and handle.
My guitar is an acoustic Tanglewood TW28/12 CLN 12-String, tuned down 2 semi-tones to reduce bellying behind the bridge area. The case lid is a nice snug fit over the top surface of the guitar and should help stabilise the bellying for me.

This appear to be a well-made and robust case. It fits my Seagull S6 and Maritime SWS dreadnoughts very well.(These are both basically the same body and neck with different woods)
Brilliant case
This case is absolutely fantastic quality. Don’t think you will get a better quality case for the price. It fits my daughters C40 yahama classical guitar perfectly. Really well made with a plush velvet interior and very hard wearing plastic exterior. The hinges also appear solid. Overall I don’t think you will get a better case for the price on amazon. Even her music teacher was impressed.BUY BUY BUY!!!!

This is one serious piece of kit…. up until now I have only used padded gig bags when travelling but my wife bought this for me and I was totally surprised how well balanced to carry the case was with the guitar inside it… I would totally recommend on a purchase…. BUT please measure your guitar first to make sure that it will fit as rather large to return….

Bought this to transport my new Martin electro-acoustic, having already been in possession of a Gator GC-Electric-A which has been serving me well for 4 years. It is everything you expect from Gator, strong, well padded, and efficiently designed. Comes with 2 keys for the locking latches. Has travelled very well!
Solid case let down by Amazon wrapping
Fits a Yamaha Pacifica 012 perfectly with hardly a millimetre to spare top, bottom & sides. Open topped pockets either side of the neck, which I use for cables on one side and tuner / picks / string cleaner on the other. Space at the sides of the headstock for other stuff like pedals etc. No movement of guitar inside when carrying. An A1 product, well worth the price.
On the downside though, it came from Amazon wrapped in a single sheet of plastic which caused the case to become scratched by the time it got to me after sliding around in the back of the delivery van. Still, it will probably end up quite scratched after I’ve lugged it around for a bit so I’m not too worried, though if it had been a gift I would not have been pleased.
Quite fancy one of their leather bound vintage effect cases for my Modified ’72 Telecaster, unless Amazon wrap it the same way.

Great case. Protects my telecaster (Squier) really well. Well built and sturdy enough for me not to worry to much about my guitar when I’m lugging it around.
Item is great, but there can be some caveats
Product arrived quickly and well packaged, but mine at least was missing something quite important, namely the key to the lock. I did talk to Amazon about it and they offered a partial refund or the option for me to return the whole case for a replacement, both of which are unsatisfying.
The case is great, my Fender Stratocaster fits perfectly inside along with accesories (extra strings, lubricant, Floyd Rose bar, strap, etc). It’s balanced perfectly with the offset handle and although it’s missing a shoulder strap, one could be adapted quite easily.
Overall great stuff.

Can’t believe how soft and furry the inner feels. It swallows my Hamer XT no problem and has loads of room for extras such as strings and picks and leads. Feels very sturdy and secure although the lock looks really naff. Worth every penny though.

Great affordable case, undoubtedly not the toughest. I wouldn’t recommend allowing airport baggage handlers anywhere near it unless it contained something I wasn’t too concerned about. But for everyday storage and gigging I’d recommend it over those cheap nasty gig bags everyday of the week.

These cases are excellent for Telecaster/Stratocaster sized guitar. They are strong but light. I have now bought four of these cases for guitars I have built. I will not go past them. I cannot recommend then highly enough.

This is a grate case i got this for my Ibanez PC12MH-OPN Acoustic Guitar – Open Pore Natural .My guitar is a grand concert so its a bit small for this case but put some speaker sponge in the gap job dune.It got to me very quick and it was very will pack all in all a very good case highly recommended.
Fit well for my Squier Stratocaster, i recommend it. Price is also good and the quality is not top class but good enough.
I could not have wished for a more steadfast and sturdy Guitar case. My previous Guitar became damaged beyond repair following an accident. This case is by far better than insurance and cheaper too. It feels good, Looks good inside and out. I’m on Gator’s case the next instrument I buy. (“Sorry for the pun”).
I do highly recommend this case and alike…It also fits in my wardrobe behind my Shirts and Jackets. That’s another plus point.

Faultless
There is nothing anyone could do to improve on this case.
It locks securely, it fits a Mexican Strat perfectly, it holds my guitar lead, strap and other accessories without issue. It is solid and utterly faultless.

This was a perfect fit for my Les Paul copy guitar, The case looks to be ideal to protect this guitar and for the money I would say it was well finished and perfectly up to the job of being carted around bashed against things in my car and still keep my guitar safe.

This is a perfect fitting (especially under the important ‘body to neck’ area) and sturdy made hard case for Les Paul style guitars and it is better than other cases I’ve bought before for a higher price.

Solid guitar case. Bulky but protective.
I use this case to transport my Les Paul to and from the rehearsal studio. It’s very well made and it’s shaped inside, to hold a Les Paul snugly. The only problem I have found is that the moulding inside is rigid and I’m finding it slightly harder to fit my guitar in, now that I have fitted strap lock buttons to it. They are a little bigger than normal strap buttons. They might have made a small indent to allow for that, as they have made an indent to accommodate the pickup switch. That’s why I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. Still, a very well made case and it does the job.
A good case. Long but not overly long
A decent long case. Fits both my longer guitars, a Dean Cadillac and a Yamaha SG 1000.
Fine protection all round.
This case is big enough for my LTD-D6 bass guitar, which is a bit of a monster.
The case feels a little flimsy compared to my others, but is probably strong enough to protect against bumps.
It has 4 catches, which is probably as well as one of them is already on the way out.
Update, Nov 2014:
The case has protected my bass since I bought it, even from being kicked over the other day. The catches haven’t really changed, and all four are still working. Upgrading my review to 4 stars from 3.
The case is very well made and is well worth the price.
The outer casing is very strong, the metal joining the two sides together including the hinges is of a high quality and isn’t cheap and tacky.
The inside protects the guitar very well, it has a soft fabric that the guitar can sit on and it will protect the guitar well.
The shape of the inside is shaped to fit an electric guitar so it’s secured into position as you travel.
There is also two slot on the left and right of the guitar neck where you can store additional items, i’ve got my main guitar lead in one, an MXR pedal in the other can i have another guitar lead in the same slot as the MXR. Perfect fit.
You can store you picks or anything in there and it’s secured in.
I leave a bag of picks in the guitar section.
The only point of criticism which is only very slight, depending on how your using your case is the lock.
The lock isn’t the best lock in the world.
There are latches which hold the sides together which are very well built and the center latch is the only one with a locking mechanism.
The lock could easily be forced open but no one is really going to do that if your in the same room as your guitar so the lock will do it’s job. Hence 5 out of 5 stars.

The guitar case was delivered a day earlier than expected which was good for me but may not have been good for other people arranging someone to be in to take it. It was well packaged and the case is excellent! It is so soft inside with a storage compartment for picks, music etc. A key for a more secure locking and handle. It is everything I wanted and more. I also liked the fact I thought it was brown (looks like the angle the picture has been taken) and was a bit disappointed but bought it anyway because I really needed one for Saturday 15th and it isn’t it’s black 🙂 can’t rave enough about this and cannot believe I am the first to review!
great case for my old Gibso
Was looking for a more robust case for my old Gibson. It fit very well. Minor problem the only way to carry the case is with the top handle. Would have liked a shoulder strap add on.

This will protect your guitar from a nuclear strike. Does make it feel a bit large though. Storage is good but if you carry lots of books it may not be for you.
If you have quick release straplocks then you need to remove the strap before putting it in. no real issue though. I can now take the guitar out without having to retune it all the time.

Well Made Case
This seems a great case, it fits very snugly to my Les Paul so much so that it is a bit of a squeese with the strap lock buttions on the guitar. It still fits but not sure if this is putting some stress on these points. I suspect most are like this though.
As most of the other reviewers state, case is excellent.Les Paul sits perfectly in case.Not sure why one buyer thought it could hold a left handed Les Paul as the inside would need to completely reversed.

fits my RIGHT handed Zakk wylde les paul perfectly. next day delivery, well packaged. the case is well built …i discovered this after surfing down the stairs on it. one of its best features has to be is that it doubles up as a safe too, keeping precious money, sweets, pirate gold and recreational gear locked away. However give the spare key to friend or foe at your own peril. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
