Excellent Gator!
I purchased this for a 22″ HP monitor that is in a weekly “mobile” state. Was really looking for something that would protect my monitor, as well as, carry all of the ancillary cables, wireless keyboard and mouse. Have to say- it is a great build and is performing beautifully! I did add some sheet foam to the inside of the case just to take up some of the extra room between the monitor and cover. It is quite spacious on the inside!
On a extra note- i do remove my monitor stand every time it goes back into the case, as it tends to “stick up” a bit and not allow the cover to close properly. It would be great if the huge foam pads on the inside (that the monitor lays down on) were adjustable– probably would help get that stand in!

I used this case to carry my 24-inch iMac from the United States to Denmark and back. My iMac was perfectly protected through all the bumps and tosses that I expect baggage handlers cause. The padding is thick around the edges, there is thick foam inside to support the screen and a thin piece of foam to lay over the screen so it doesn't get smudged when in place. The zippers were strong and didn't move apart at all, even though I didn't lock them. Great investment that I expect to last for years.

I fit my Apple iMac ME088LL/A 27-Inch Desktop (OLDEST VERSION) in this case (diagonally) and FedExed it from Florida to Texas. It worked like a charm. I made sure to cover my iMac with Kuzy – Brown Leather Full Cover for Apple iMac 27″ Dust Cover, Display Protector (A1312 & A1419) and 27-inch Thunderbolt Display (A1316 & A1407) – Espresso Brown , just in case.
Love this case and every gator case I have ever purchased. It fits my 20 inch all in one Lenovo with accessories very easy. It is heavy but it works. I wouldn't check this on an airplane but it is a safe way to transport your monitor to and from one location. I wish it came with wheels but the good thing is that on the back it does have one of those straps allowing you to slide it onto a dolly so you can still roll it.

It's a nice large case, the perfect size for my Eizo CG240W (a widescreen 24inch monitor). The top and sides are well protected and the handles are comfortable and durable for carrying. My main gripe would be, as others have already mentioned, the lack of solidity in the base of the case. I simply put some extra plastic at the bottom to support the monitor base. The case also comes with some foam cushions so which are velcro mounted and the user can change these about to provide stability to the monitor and stop it moving about inside the case. The case feels a little less hardwearing than the Tenba cases we use on photography jobs but for domestic travel in a car, it fits the requirements.

If anyone is wondering, yes it fits a 21″ iMac perfectly! I use my iMac for music editing and DJing, so my desktop must be portable. The case is designed perfectly for the iMac. The computer, cables, keyboard, and trackpad all fit inside the case flawlessly when arranging the provided foam padding appropriately. This is a fantastic product with the quality you expect from Gator.

If you travel to conventions by road as we do, this is a great case for large flat panel monitors. It holds the monitor securely with enough padding to protect the screen. However, if you are looking for something to check through as luggage you might want to look elsewhere as it is too soft to survive the airline baggage handlers.
Pros
– protects our Lenovo Flex 20 with room for peripherals. You could easily fit two of the newer, thinner LED displays in this.
– comes with a couple of free floating pads for extra protection

– Almost too much space – could be thinner and not as tall.
– Too big to carry on a plane. Could be 2 – 4 inches thinner and 4 inches shorter.
Great case. .perfect for my 32" monitor. Padded handle and deep padded strap is perfect for carrying it around all day. also sleek looking, so going into a meeting, you dont look like your carrying in some grip case.

Really roomy inside. They’re quite large, and can easily hold two 24″ monitors. Definitely buy these if you’re looking for a great case to transport your not super expensive equipment (the kind of equipment that requires custom laser-cut inserts).

It needs wheel or a more comfy strap. Really uncomfortable to carry. But sure does do the job to keep the screen safe!

Bigger than I expected. Turned out I used the extra space. Well paded and lightweight. Could have used a paded tray. Made my own and it works great.

The Amazon picture does not do justice to describing HOW BIG this box is. I got it to transport my "24" tv monitor in. When the case came in I thought they had used an extra large box to pack it in. WRONG! Yes the interior is 20" tall, but on the the outside it's closer to 30 inches tall. It's big, it's bulky and it's cumbersome. This is NOT going into a small car's trunk you will need an SUV or trailer to move this around OR OR OR the entire back seat. That being said, it DOES PROTECT. It turns out my tv was 26" but I was able to angle it and still be able to close the zippered lid. Great box, just way to bigger than I thought it would be.

I just purchased one Gator G-Monitor2-GO22 case and am ready to order one more. I am a professional disc jockey and use a dual monitor system. I just purchased a pair of 22″ monitors. I though I would order one case and see how my monitor fit. It was perfect. I would expect nothing less from Gator. I have many of their cases.
My experience with the order was excellent. I couldn’t have made it better.

About 2 inches of high quality foam all the way around plus foam pads for customizing the interior. everything is covered in fabric so no worries about scratching up your screens. plenty of extra space for cables and remotes. I could probably fit a small BluRay player in there with a 24" screen. I purchased two of these and I see another two in my future. Well done Gator, well done.

This thing is a monster. Looking for massive protection for your expensive LCD or Plasma monitor but don’t want to spend a weeks pay? This is the one you want. Believe me, I looked for weeks until I found this. A great product for a reasonable price.

It is quite large but it needs to be for the cushion it takes to protect its contents. Highly recommend this, if you have a need to carry a monitor with you.

I can fit two twenty two inch led monitors with mounting arms in one case and it is still light. This case will keep them looking new for a long time. I could throw it down a flight of stairs and my monitors will probably remain unharmed.(but I won't)
