This was to replace a Bosch that had a tin dropped on it.
Negatives; To me the touch sensitive controls are a bit illogical, for example they’re side by side with the top ring controls at the ends of the line. It’s easy to hit the wrong burner. There are no half-power intervals, it’s 1 to 9, and if you increase power past 9 you get to1 not zero as with the Bosch. It’s also a little bit slower than the Bosch and the rings only come in two sizes, not 3 as with the Bosch.
Postives: It has a timer. Now I have a timer on the hob as well as the oven, no more overboiled veg.
You have to switch it on using one of the touch sensitive controls, so it doesn’t have the annoying ‘child safety’ feature of it’s predecessor, whereby it would seem to start, then cut-out and you’d have to re-set it.
The quality of the materials seem not really any different from it’s predecessor, it works perfectly well and cost two thirds less.

Installation of this hob was very straightforward but I would have liked a longer cable which had to be extended. The hob is easy to use, well made and is better than the hob it replaces.
I did a lot of research and this one kept on popping up in the reviews and for the cost, it was worth a try
its easy to install, simple instructions – two issues that i noticed – the connecting cable is short, too short IMO, we had to change it for a longer one to get to the cooker socket, its easy to change and your electrician can do it but it will cost you. The other issue / observation is that the whole hob gets hot when using several of the rings, maybe is normal and looking on line, it seems to be with most hobs, I just hadnt experienced it on my old hob (which was part of freestanding range)

Easy to install & use, but started to show marks/discolouration on the UNDERSIDE of the glass top almost immediately. Got it for an absolute bargain price though (less than 80!), so really can’t complain too much!

They provide a solid tool for removing adhesive around your old hob which is really handy. Looked very easy to install, but I got an electrician on the job as I have always been taught to not mess with electrics!
It is a great replacement for our old hob. Gets very hot and cooks quickly – 1800 watts obviously is enough for our needs ( hungry family of 5). For the price paid 119.99, I am very pleased.
Did not like the metal clips to secure the unit into the worktop, so removed them, relying on a good fit in the size of the cutout in the worktop which worked fine

Fitted in 10mins. Looks great as a direct replacement for an old Zanussi that broke. I’ve been cooking with this for a few months now and I can honestly say that you don’t need to purchase more expense hobs, this cooks very well and I am so pleased with it.
The hob is very straightforward to install. It reacts to the touch controls quickly and precisely and the overall control of cooking is simple and accurate.

It’s a lovely hob looks pretty & cooks well easily cleaned. Has a great safety feature. The only problem is..I struggle to get it to turn on which is a bit annoying at times. It could just be faulty button hence only 4stars overall this is a nice hob & i would recommend.

Arrived today as predicted, installed in 30 mins and that included taking the old one out. Looks good and so far so good, this was a replacement for a hotpoint one, so will see how it compares. 1st impression is positive.
Personally, I dislike the essential safety feature of the hob sounding an alarm if you place anything on it, anything. I am used to lifting the grill pan when in use, to turn over what i am cooking this then sounds the alarm, and switches all the lights off, even those which you may wish to continue to use!

Very handy having the electric cable attached had it fitted and working in under 2 hours my wife is over the moon with its ease of use plus the safety Lock On control to stop the Hob from working while you clean the suface.

Great hob Never had touch control before, but love it now. Rings react very fast. One ring simply stopped working after 3 weeks. Contacted GIONIEN and they sent out a replacement hob within 3 days. (Great service). We’ve been using the replacement for months now and it is perfect.
After old hotplate hob this is super. Easily cleaned and easy to use. Looks good too.

Bought this to replace a smeg one which had been broken in a “baked bean tin falling from a height” incident…. Delighted with it. Easy to fit, easy to use and looks great. A real bargain. Couldn’t be more happy with it.

At the beginning I only gave one star as I didn’t know how to remove the stains. And I thought was just a bad quality product. After a while I realised that I love it. If you are struggling with stains… You should look online how to remove them. It is actually easy. Also it looks still amazing and works very well. I wanted to apologise with the seller for my initial complaint.
Like this all good think it’s better for have safety lock for children but take a long time to cool down

Turned up on time was easy to fit, looks good good quality for price would highly recommend. The hob stopped working after four months, contacted seller, who was quick to reply and very helpful, the issue was resolved quickly.

It’s a great hob but the only thing for me is the rings on the right are to close together and it’s difficult if you have a large pan or wok on front to even use the back hob

The hob does as described, it looks very fancy albeit not being expensive. One minor complaint is that the button labels on the hob are damaged quite easily and could begin wearing away over time.
Very easy to use . I got a very expensive one but I manage to brake it and also with my old one I always confused how to use even after months as was very easy to switch on .
This hobs are not that easy to switch on when you don’t want to . Is easy to use but have a security mechanism.

For the price it’s perfect, only thing is it’s very sensitive, I have a small kitchen so I use my hob as a work space to but you can’t put anything on it without it beeping, but it is not a negative

This hob keeps up with the well known brands and is a fraction of the price. Nice looking low profile and the touch sensitive buttons work well, they also allow for more pan space as opposed to conventional knobs which is a further convenience.
Temperature is controlled well and the elements are powerful. In relation to installation, very easy comes with a reasonable length of flex and can be installed by anyone with reasonable working knowledge providing the existing wiring is up to scratch. Highly recommended.
I’ve only installed the hob a few days ago. It was easy to fit with the added bonus of it already being wired up. It looks good and easy to use. Time will tell if it is easy to clean and whether it gets scratched. All in all though pleased with the purchase.
Ordered on the 24th of October was delivered on the 27th , brilliant service. Easy to fit and looks fab in my kitchen, heats up quickly and unlike the hob I had before (electric hot plate type) responds quickly to being turned down making cooking easier and more controlled.
