This is better than a lot of the more expensive ones on the market. Came also with two batteries. Very happy with this product.

Good rangefinder that lasts in batteries a long time and works very well on Golf Course

All rangefinders stand or fall by their use. However those that have the furthest range turn out to be the most effective at short ranges as well.

This one is aimed at the golfing market and has some silver ‘bling’ in line with that. The case is also red! However, it is just as good as a range finder for hunting at a fraction of the price. I took it on several rifle ranges what have known distances and tested. It was typically out by 10 yards or so, but if you take several readings of the same point the average always comes out far closer to the exact range you need. This is partly because some surfaces reflect the laser better than others. (Some manufactures claim that their golf one is designed for flags – and some hunting ones claim their product is designed for animal skin. The fact is that any reflective surface will do. Man-made objects always read better than natural ones. A car door is better than a grass bank (unless it is well illuminated etc.

This particular model performs definitely as well as units at 3 times the price, but cannot touch the top end hunting ones.

One of the best rangefinders I’ve used and at such a great price. Here is a rangefinder that’ll improve your golf game. You’ll be able to judge how far you have to go to the flag or any other course feature – bunkers, trees, water – but you’ll also be able to use it to calculate how far you’re hitting those irons. You’ll be able to do this because the rangefinder is incredibly accurate. In the box you will get a cleaning cloth, instruction manual, that’s easy to follow, a battery, a lanyard, although it’s small enough to carry in your pocket, and a carry case. It’s great for beginners and experts. You’ll love it.

I’ve been trying out various bits of kit to get my handicap down. Arccos in the clubs (to measure how far I hit each one) and this rangefinder. So I know which clubs to hit.

The RF is great – small, compact, fast to focus. The red scope is useful, as is the option to turn slope readings on or off. There is a feedback vibration when you lock on, which is also handy. I think it looks good too.

Has it improved my golf? No. My swing is still dodgy and I 3 putt every green. But I cannot blame that on the RangeFinder!

General: The view through the lens is extremely clear; the magnification is impressive and the functions are simple and easy to use. It is possible to calculate ranges in metres and yards. The jolt feature confirms lock on to target! The slope feature is easily switched on and off (when not allowed to use it in competition).

What’s in the box: Everything you need — including 2 x batteries; which means one spare! There is a carabiner for securing the rangefinder to the bag, as well as a belt loop and a cloth. A very thoughtful contents package in my opinion.

Ease of use: I have previously had Canon and Bushnell rangefinders which I had thought were simple to use, but this one is vastly more intuitive. The clarity is exceptional, as is the magnification and the red scope stands out very well. I have also used this feature when the light is not good and found it excellent. The buttons are easily found, the grip is good and the eyepiece is comfortable and adjustable. Other rangefinders can mist up in the wet; I have not had the chance to compare that yet.

Case: The case is very sturdy and zipped all around. It also has an elastic loop and locking post. This loop is an excellent feature because it secures the device while unzipped on the course and allows quick, secure access to the device. No need to fiddle with the zip every time you want to zoom in on a target!

Overall: I had not heard of this make before and I am hugely impressed with it. Don’t be put off by the ‘budget’ price, this device has all the features, sturdiness, quality and reliability of a much more expensive option. The clarity of the view and ease of use is hugely impressive and I think these two features set it apart from the others. It is certainly great value and will deservedly give the market leaders and leading brands some fierce competition.

I’ve only ever tried the more expensive offerings when it comes to range finders so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but I was pleasantly surprised! The range Finder is surprisingly accurate (better than the golf app I’ve been using). The distance it magnifies is perfect for my local course and even the par 5’s are within its capabilities. The magnification is crisp and clear with visual HUD giving readout of the distance measured and the compensation for the ground level. Build quality is solid, the additional storage pouch is also a welcomed addition. Everything is perfect with this device, very pleased with it and would recommend.

I have seen a vast improvement in my game very quickly since using this range finder. It’s much better than playing shots just by eye as I never know how far I hit each club. This rangefinder allows me to measure the distance to the green. It’s very easy to use and doesn’t require technical knowledge. I now have a more strategic approach to my game and enjoying it a lot more.

Pretty impressed with this range finger, which seems slightly better in terms of accuracy than others I have tried (but also slightly more expensive).
It is very lightweight and user-friendly, and after one round of golf you will have got the hang of it no problem.
You can switch between metres and yards and turn slope reading settings on an off.
Unlike Sat Nav watches does not need a download of the course before use. It also beats Sat Nav devices in giving a more accurate read of the target, whereas the Sat Nav will only give reads to the front, middle and back of greens.
    One charge lasted seven rounds.

This is a very smart range finder. Styling is quite understated and it is palm sized with grippy rubber sides, useful on a cold damp day. The chunky buttons are easy to locate on the top so ideal for left or right handed people. Nice and easy to use, in metres or yards with an excellent zoom and lock on facility and slope mode. Comes with a smart case and wrist strap so a decent package all in all.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been fortunate enough to review a number of golf rangefinders lately and was keen to try this one out. I have previously reviewed the Bozily brand and found them to be accurate.

This Range finder arrived in a nice presentation box, with a decent black case (with belt loop & carabiner loop), carabiner clip, lanyard, lens cloth and instruction booklet. 2 sealed CR123a 3v 1300 mAh batteries, (so one spare which is handy).

The body is quite “blingy” with chrome effect accents on the sides but grippy dimpled black silicon top and bottom. The eyepiece is a knurled for grip.

It’s fairly light, weighing 176g the scope on its own according to my digital kitchen scale. With the case it weighs 284g with scope and carabiner so very light to carry around on the waist belt loop or using the carabiner on a belt loop.

The case is a good quality and should offer a lot of protection if dropped and has clearly been copied from other my manufacturers but as they say imitation is the best form of flattery, it works really well.

The manufacturer offers a two year guarantee with registering with them, if not 12 months and 24/7 support (it is claimed) also offering a 30 day returns policy. So no complaints there.

What I really liked about this one over all the rest I’ve reviewed is I can change the Lcd display to bright red instead of black. On a duller day this will be a great feature for me. To be fair it worked well on the bright day when we tested it. This is achieved by pressing little button on the right side of the body near the front.

It also has slope feature with external button on the left side that lights up red when it’s on So a nice additional feature for notifying other golfers if used in competition.

It states that the finder is waterproof/water resistant which is good although to be on the safe side I wouldn’t want to risk it in a downpour.

So it was again the same procedure I took this out for a round while I was reviewing another golf rangefinder so I could compare both of them against my golfing buddies Bushnell range finder. Fortunately it was nice clear day.

This particular one does have a built-on belt clip which I could have used but I decided to use it with the bag & carabiner on the golf bag rather than having two of them swinging from my waist.

The case zip can be left open as there is an elastic quick release loop so it was easy to get it in and out which worked well.

It uses the standard On/Off button towards the front eyepiece to turn on and scan and the mode button further in to switch modes. The eyepiece can be adjusted by turning the focus ring.

The image is really clear and bright as other scopes I have tested. It has a decent scan range six times multi magnification and a range of up to 1500 yards (1375 metres)

I did my normal test where I use scan mode with trees in the horizon and hedges etc it seemed to react correctly giving the similar readings to other ones we were using.

Flag lock (up to 300 yards) worked fine like most it “buzzed’ on the right of the finder and locked the distance fine. It was very quick hardly any delay at all.

Comparing it to the other one I was reviewing and my golfing buddies rangefinder it seemed very accurate it was only about 1 -1.5 yards off his finder and in some cases almost identical.

A steady hand also helps and obviously the further away from the flag there’s movement as they don’t have built-in fast focus system like the Bushnell or other premium brands.

I have found over time of using them that there’s a knack to getting the same reading as the Bushnell, which is to focus, move to the side slightly then refocus. By doing that rather than using the initial reading I seemed to get the most accurate readings over the distance

According to the manual there is an indicator in the display when the battery level is low but obviously the battery was freshly installed so I can’t comment on that.

All in all a very nice slightly “blingy” rangefinder that’s works really well.

In summary I really can’t fault it, works well and is accurate, full marks for me for the option to alter the Lcd to bright red, and glowing Slope On button I really like those features.

At the price (99 at the time of the review) this is a really impressive budget rangefinder . Compared to other premium brands it represents really good value for money in my opinion.

Excellent All Round -Red Lcd Display & Slope Light Are Great Features

Have used this range finder for a few rounds now… easy to use. Locks the pin well and even can adjust for the slope, although you can turn this off for competition play. Very clear view of the green. We compared this range finder against others that my playing partners had, including Bushnell, and this range finder have very accurate measurements. Would recommend for those players looking to improve their approach shots, as knowing the exact yardage is much more beneficial than the just the front, middle and back.

Great rangefinder. Bought to replace another this is so simple to use. have used it 3 times since purchase and find the accuracy excellent. Robust build, includes a clip so have option to fit onto trousers belt rather than return to case. Looks great too in green.

A great gadget for the avid golfer, nicely packaged so it would make a lovely gift.
You can easily switch between metres and yards, if you’re old school.
Lightweight with great magnification, night vision is really good and it seems to be accurate.
Won’t improve your game much but it’s nice to get this out when playing with friends, makes you look like you know what you’re doing!
Hope you found my review helpful

This is the first time I have used a laser range finder and it definitely does help you get a real sense of how far you hit each club. It absolutely makes club selection an easier task. If you end up playing a course without markers or aren’t the best at spotting them, you’ll still be able to know the distance you need to hit.

The range finder comes in a solid feeling stylish looking case with a belt loop so that it can be carried around the golf course with ease. It’s smaller that I thought it would be but fits nicely in your hands and also has it’s own belt clip. It’s a bit lighter than I would have liked which does give a slight feeling that the manufacture is on the cheaper side however the digital features it has are exactly what you would look for and they appear to work well. The modes allow continuous scanning, flag-locking and slope measurement and without actually measuring it to confirm accuracy it does appear to be pretty much spot on. It also comes with a spare battery just to make sure it lasts all the way around the course.

Another great range finder from Bozily. I’ve had this now for over a week and had a few rounds of golf with it and it’s easy to operate, and the red scope makes it easier to acquire the target and it vibrates when you lock onto flag. Slope function is easy to switch off and on just by using the slide button. Very accurate scope and again, on par with other more expensive brands of range finder.

Super nice handle and feel to it. Quite accurate in its readings. Comes with a spare battery and a great carrying case. The ‘nightvision’ is pretty impressive. The slope reader is another great feature that i have to learn how to master. You can easily clip it onto your waist, I just keep it in the case. I detest having that feeling of something weighing me down. The vibration seeking tech is nice at first i was like whats going on but, you get use to it. It’s like lock and load.Good product.

This little gadget is packed with features and it’s amazing. It was set up in no time and I couldn’t believe the clarity of focus over distance. I don’t play golf, but I asked a friend who’s a keen golfer for their opinion and they said it’s better than one they use which cost over double. It’s lightweight, well designed to make holding it comfortable and there’s good grip. I used it to check out nesting activity in a hedge on the far side of a field behind my home. It was incredible; clear sharp images and amazing focus.

Looks good and performs as expected. Excellent.

I received this range finder and tested it .it was top class and compared to my m8s expensive one was as good if not better as I could turn the slope on and off with pin jolt and it was quicker.i left a review which wasn’t good and retracted it because of a mix up in emails that was sorted out by customer service as it was my fault.the customer service team are top class at getting things sorted out and I cant rate this company high enough. I gave my m8s a turn and they will be ordering one as well.

Although the description and all the info states this is a “Golf Rangefinder” it can also detect many objects and give the range, which is impressive.

The one thing that has both amazed and puzzled me is the magnification. It is claimed to be 6x magnification and yet it is stronger and much clearer than both a set of bins and a monocular that both claim to be 10x??? So, wither the two other gadgets, the bins and monocular have way overexagerated their capability or this range finder is way underestimated. To be fair, I don’t care as if this is 6x magnification it is amazingly clear and magnifies very well.

As a range finder it can certainly aid golfers in determining the direction and distance of the next hole thus enabling them to adjust their swing in order to be a little more accurate but I can also see many other uses in sports and outdoor activities. Archery is one such sport that comes to mind. One can use this range finder for placing the targets.

there is one negative point to make about this product, sadly. As it is handheld it does tend to shake a little. If used in cold and windy conditions it might be a little difficult to keep this steady. However, even with a shaky hand it can still give a very good estimate of the distance, which is all that is needed, a better than good estimate.

The quality and build of this range finder is very good, the vision clarity is excellentand as it is therefore good value it ticks all the boxes for me so I do recommend it.

The unit of this rangefinder is well set up, with free switching of meters and yards, which can meet the needs of people all over the world, and it is very user-friendly.
The product allows you to switch the between units of meters and yards easily with the holding of the mode button, this makes it usable for all on the course.

Another very useful tool that comes with this device is the switch for turning the slope reading settings on and off. This is a visual sliding toggle on the side of the device making it a safe choice for competitions where slope reading is not allowed.

I have tried this device against my old one and it is very accurate and brings up instant measurements to make your experience quick and cheerful. There is also a useful option of changing the colour of the background light between black or red. This helps the numbers stand out and allows you to focus on the exact location you wish to zap. (difficult to take a photo of but you can see the difference)

The product comes with a clip for attaching to the golf bag and carry case for protection, and 2 batteries (1 spare which is great). Product fits well in the hand and is super easy to use, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a range finder.

Great Budget rangefinder, plenty of features and easy to use

I didn’t know what to expect from this device, as it was cheap. Cheap usually means no good. This is not the case. Its brilliant. Like really bloody good. I’d suggest that if you’re looking for a range finder, look no further. But this. Its class. Its so easy to use and very very accurate.

    Excellent device at budget price
