I bought the 12 pod indoor hydroponic garden in December for Christmas. I have been happily growing tomatoes, jalapenos, and peppers for several months now. Due to my own laziness I ended up not measuring my water and filled it up too high and it leaked into the circuit board, damaging the hydroponic bubbler. My plants are still growing fine but it's only a matter of time before they dislike the stagnant water. I went to GoLumUp website and wrote an email to them asking if I could purchase a new bubbler or circuit board as it was my own fault. I did not expect them to compensate me in any way. To my surprise, they emailed me back the very next day telling me that it was too difficult to install a new circuit board myself and they would be more than happy to send me a brand new system! I was floored. They said they have updated the new model so it is less likely to have leaking on the circuit board. And advised me to try to keep it under 3 l in the future. I cannot believe they would be so kind. They shipped me a brand new system within 48 hours! Totally impressed with the customer service, the speedy response, I will absolutely continue to buy from this company again in the future and recommend it to all of my friends. It was a great price to start off with and the fact that I was able to get the help I needed, and they went above and beyond was amazing. Thank you GoLumUp!!!

Great for Beginners!
Sprouted within days and everything looks super healthy and happy! The timer was a little finicky to get working (the sprout/blooming/ripening etc setting has automatically come on and off, but manually choosing 8/10/12 hours will not come back on after turning off) aside that the only other thing I have to comment on is the packaged in plant food. It’s not ideal, and you should probably get a different fert. I think the one they give you is a 1-1-1 where I used the 4-5-5 I had on hand–but I’m no expert, this is literally my first dive into gardening.
End of the day I LOVE having this and it’s been so exciting dipping into hydroponics and growing my own food. It works as intended and was a great investme

Après seulement 4 jours mes plants commençaient déjà à sortir.
J’ai actuellement de la laitue et des tomates. Le seul inconvnient c’est que les kits de semences pour aro gardens ne sont pas du mme format que les trous de cette appareil, j’ai d prendre les mousses et les mettre dans les petit paniers de ma nouvelle machine.

Great product for sure
This product has been great. First of all I was a bit concerned about it being a fire hazard – but that worry was completely gone after I started using this – the design is great and my plants are growing! It comes with all the things you need (except seeds) and is just overall a great product – lettuce and basil started to germinate in just a few days and the machine is fully automated – all you have to worry about is topping up the water and adding nutrients! Voila! Good product and perfect!

El producto ha resultado ser defectuoso. De primera hora no se apagaba ni encendia segn la hora programada. Despus de menos de 6 meses, pierde agua y he tenido que desconectarlo por completo.

Tras el primer producto que lleg defectuoso me enviaron uno nuevo sin coste adicional, varios meses despus, y que parece estar funcionando bie

Ein etwas gesalzener Preis, 70 Euro , fr das Teil, aber es funktioniert prima, endlich kann ich krftige Jungpflanzen selbst vorziehen, bevor sie in die Indoorminihochbeete , mit Erde kommen, leider sine die Ersatzschwmme etwas teuer,jedesmal 15,– fr Ersatzeinstze und Torfschwmme ist fr mich akzeptabel, da probier ich anderes Material aus. Trotzdessen sehr zum weiterempfehlen um endlich mit dem idoorgardening etwas voranzukommen, um auch mal ernten zu knne

UPDATE: I was in contact with customer service and provided some suggestions. I am happy to say that their solution was satisfactory. It is still up to you if you think this is a good product to purchase for yourself. I hope they listen and provide better instructions and I suggested a Youtube video that can be watched so we can see what/how to use this product better, especially for those with no experience growing things this way. I have a garden outside but this is a completely different way of gardening.
This is a terrible product. I would NEVER recommend this due to the fact there is nothing telling you what you need to do to use it, no instructions for use or care. I haven’t been able to grow anything in it. I believe the pump provided for it is not nearly strong enough to move the water, let alone oxygenate it. There is nothing telling me how to use the fertilizers, how to clean it etc. STAY AWAY FROM THIS IF IT DOES NOT IMPROVE!

Herbs can’t get any fresher than this! We grew our favourites this winter as well as some pick lettuce. So nice to just pick some basil and lettuce in the amount we need, when we need it.
This unit is a bit of a cross between a hobby and a food source. Nice. We bought our own seeds which was fine cause we got exactly what we wanted to grow.
Lo utilizzo da pi di tre mesi. Ne ho presi due che non hanno mostrato alcun difetto costruttivo. Non utilizzo il concime solido dato da loro ma un concime liquido per colture idroponiche che d ottimi risulati e costa poco (Hidro A e Hidro B). Ha come kit spugnette, contenitori in plastica, coppette in plastica per la germinazione, e molto utili sono i 12 bastoncini in plastica per mantenere diritte le piante durante la crescita. Ha un pompa d’acqua che va pulita almeno una volta al mese e che fa pochissimo rumore. Per le sue dimensioni si pu mettere ovunque in cucina. Attualmente stanno crescendo, basilico, prezzemolo e menta con piantine grandi che utilizzo quotidianamente per insalate e cucina. Il pi grande pregio la lunghezza del braccio estensibile che porta l’illuminazione, rispetto ad altri sistemi tipo IDOO. Il pi grande difetto la superficie totale piccola di crescita delle piantine, rispetto ad esempio al sistema IDOO modello IG301 che molto pi grande. Conclusione io ho opato per due sistemi. All’inizio per la semina utilizzo il sistema IDOO 301 che ha i 12 pozzetti di germinazione su una superficie pi grande. Una volta cresciute le piantine le inserisco nel sistema GOLUMP che ha un braccio di illuminazione pi lungo adatto per la crescita continua in altezza delle piantine. Essendo i fori dei due sistemi di grandezza uguale posso fare agevolmente tale operazione. Per volendo si pu usare il solo sistema GOLUMP con il limite di poter coltivare non pi di 6 piantine contemporaneamente sui 12 pozzetti previsti.
Las plantas crecen muy rápido
Me ha gustado mucho, llevaba tiempo sin poder cultivar bien el perejil y ahora tengo de ms. Crecen las plantas muy rpido y bien. Lo tengo en una terraza cerrada y el ruido de la bomba es soportable, lo nico que la luz es tan intensa que tengo que poner cortinas opacas para que los vecinos no se asusten con tanta luz que se ve por la ventana. Es muy incmodo vaciar el agua para limpiar el depsito y volver a conectar el enchufe que est por debajo.

Y a t’il une eau meilleur que l’eau du robinet mettre dedans ? Distille ou eau de pluie etc.
Peut-on retrouver facilementes pices comme mousses godets ou capuchons et granuls ?????

Customer service was exceptional. They reached out and resent a new one. I am testing it out now

Bon service à la clientèle
Je change mon avis aujourd’hui. J’ai eu quelques problmes avec l’engrais. Suite mon commentaire, une dame du service la clientle a pris les devants et m’a crit. C’est la premire fois qu’une compagnie qui je n’ai rien demand communique avec moi pour me donner des conseils pour optimiser le produit. Je tiens dire que je continue d’utiliser une autre marque d’engrais, alors je ne sais pas si c’est moi qui utilisait mal l’engrais envoy avec le produit ou non. Chose certaine, j’ai de trs bon rsultats avec ce jardin depuis que j’utilise cet engrais d’une autre compagnie (voir 3e photo). L’appareil comme tel est vraiment joli. Je donne 5 toiles pour l’excellent service la clientle, mais je me pose des questions sur l’engrais qui vient avec le kit.

Review update: The product was working great for about 5 weeks. Then It started to leak. But customer service reached out to me for a replacement or refund even though the return period had passed. Such a great customer service, so I think it is worth giving the unit a try.

This system is very easy to use and set up. All my seed sprouted. If you buy this system and the seed package says 4 to 5 seeds, only sew one or two. Unless there's something wrong with your seeds they will sprout.

Not amazing but great customer service
I like the idea of this and received as a gift, but the pump keeps water pretty stagnant and it leaks from the power plug-in area. Sketch. Make sure to put on a tray so you’re not surprised by mold a few weeks in!
Edit: they have great customer service and sent a new one really quickly. If this one works better i will be really pleased!
