Okay it’s looking good but I’m still thinking it is enough to collect all dust from my room or not so it is necessary or not ? I saw on the mesh filter some cat furr so i guess it is necessary… Anyway i guess not enough for neutralising odours but for dust yeah does the job…

I really wanted to wait sometime to really test the product out before writing this review. I order this in March 2022 so I have been using the items for a few months now.

Firstly the packaging the Air Purifier comes in was really good, it was packaged in a way that everything was padded and safe for transport. When it arrived the box was a little damaged but because everything inside was secure nicely nothing was broken or even scratched.

The unit itself looks quite nice, the white design helps it to fit into any room in the house. It is a little bigger that I though but that was not a big problem for me. We bought the Air Purifier to try and help with my partners asthma just to get some of the dust out of the air.

The Air Purifier has a total of 4 settings, 3 different speeds and a night mode setting. The dial on the top is touch screen and very easy to use. With just one touch you can switch from a standard mode to night mode. The 3 standard modes vary in sound as they become more powerful the noise levels go up. It actually sounds like a desk fan. I often use these settings through out the day as I do not mind the noise. There is also a timer that can be used with the standard settings to the device will switch off after a number of hours.

The night mode feature is very easy to activate and is also very quiet. We have absolutely no problem sleeping through the noise level from this setting and I am quite a light sleeper. It is much quieter that even setting 1. I was so happy this Air Purifier came with a night mode so we could keep the device on when needed.

In our home we have a dog that molts a lot and loses hair all year around. I have attached pictures showing the inside of the Air Purifier and you can see that it had managed to collect some dust and dog hair. My only problem with the machine is that it seems to make the dust in the air much heavier to it sits on the floor. This is fine for us as we have laminate flooring and I am able to brush us, but I don’t know how this would be for someone with carpet in the room.

Overall I am very happy with this device and how it works. We have even been thinking about buying another for downstairs in the house.

    Great household Air Purifier.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis review is based on one test run. I have not put this machine into regular use yet. I do not need an in-home air purifier. I purchased it for use in hotel rooms where you can’t open the window to air out the room.

The Greenote unit is just as advertised. Good workmanship. No visible defects. Very quiet. The touch screen is responsive, unlike most small electronics’ touch screens. I did a test run on level 2 (1 to 2 hours) in my garage because I wanted to see if there was any odor from manufacturing residue on the parts. There was no odor. The air in my garage smelled surprisingly fresh after the test run.

Be careful when handling the power cord. This looks like the most fragile part of the unit.

Nothing to dislike. I have asthma and now lung disease and laying down panicked me as couldn’t breath but due to one in my lounge and one I my bedroom it keeps my home clear from particles in the air also I can take one with me to a hotel room or friends to keep my breathing relaged ..

We ordered this to have in our bedroom to try and assist with my wife allergies.

At first we were a little skeptical as she’d tried many things to help, but this just works! – Its bedtime mode is great, very quiet, almost sounds like a white noise machine, I’ve actually found it difficult sleeping when this isn’t on!

it has four speed settings and three timers also which is handy if you just want to use this intermittently.

the purifier comes with 2 years warranty for if something were to go wrong which I think it great as usually you only get 1 year with most brands.

It has a three stage filtration system, a nylon pre-filter which captures large airborne pollutants such as lint, the second is an H13 true Hepa Filter which removes 99.97% of small airborne contaminants such as pollan and dust mites and lastly, it has an active carbon filter which helps eliminate odors from the air, this is really hand if you’re having the item close to the kitchen.

At the time of writing this review, the price for this air purifier is 79.99 and with 60% discount code!

The air purifier is easy to set up, just plug and play. The noise level is very low when the purifier is in operation, less than 30bd (similar to quiet laptop noise). There are four level of speed adjustment that is sufficient for most environment.

The unit looks nice and not out of place in living room.
It does take a bit of space though.
The night mode is very quiet, but not too powerful understandbly. The other modes are audible but they move more air. It will work well with a medium sized bedroom at night, if one has it run a full power 20 minutes or so before going to bed.
The effect is noticeable and it does help reducing smell in the kitchen too, but I would not use in the kitchen on a permanent basis because that kind of materials in the air are likely to clog it fast.
It seems a better option for bedrooms and living rooms.
As noted in nother review, the fan is vertical, so potentialy exposed to dust when not in use, as there is no air flow. While this design is convenient for other reasons, it would be a good idea to cover it when off to prevent dust ingress.

Filters cost around 26 on amazon.
It’s very quiet on the low setting.

    Easy to use as well.

I’m general it’s a shame these devices are becoming normal in the household. Instead of our governments fixing the root cause.

Very good air-purifier that is surprisingly effective given its relatively small size. One of the best things about it is that it is very quiet, which is great when using it at night. Four stars.

I am very pleased with the great performance and the good quality of this air purifier, and the air quality was noticeably better when I used it. The air purifier cleared out any smell, and it was clearly doing its job well during the day and night. The noise level on high is quite noticeable, but the night mode is whisper quiet. It was very easy to put the filter in and out for cleaning, it was easy to operate, instructions were easy to understand and follow, and the build quality is very good. Reccomended, great for air care.

    Good quality, works grea

Well packaged and conveniently presented with a high quality machine and setup is a breeze with guided instructions. Luckily its not an over bulky purifier and is genuinely quite storage friendly unit. In terms of operating its relatively straight forward and the performance is fantastic, definitely seen a difference in the first day with silent operation for convenience. I like how easy it is to maintain & i wish i had come across one sooner as its practical all year round and happy to recommend this one overall for anywhere round the house.

An excellent air purifier! It feels very well-made, robust, and is compact and lightweight enough to move around easily from one room to another. It hardly occupies space on the floor or any other flat surface.

It’s really quiet on sleep mode, with only a subtle vague “hum” sound in the background. It’s barely noticeable unless you’re paying attention to it.

I suffer from seasonal allergies and this is a great help in containing those. The design looks simplistic but sleek. It blends in well with other furniture because of how small it is. The display is clear to read, even at night. The filter has also lasted almost a month now of regular use without needing to be replaced.

High quality and great value for money! Highly recommended.

I was expecting something a little bit more bigger according to the online pictures but this is a compact air purifier quite good actually considering is not too big, it does the job really well especially when not on a sleep mood is not to noisy either ,comes very well protected in a cardboard box with a plugger also not too long though so need an extension plugger or pace it near the socket .it does clear the air in the room and u can tell the difference, the display though is not very bright so I was struggle a bit to see it clear , but otherwise I’m pleased with this .

    Great filter.

Keep in mind that it will clear air in small rooms in large areas it will take long time and extended use to perform in 100%.

Value for money 10 out of 10

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAn air purifier can greatly improve the air quality in your home by filtering microscopic particles of dust, pollen and other potential allergens in the air. This air purifier comes in a nicely branded cardboard box with a nice clean design. The whole unit is overall quite large and bulky, but it has an aesthetically pleasing minimalistic design that should be able to fit in most environments, though it’s recommended to have it at least 60cm away from a wall. It also weighs around weighs 1.7kg in total.

The air purifier is powered by an AC Adaptor that uses an old (but removable) ‘barrel’ connector which can output 18W (the unit is rated for 10W), which is fine, but I would have preferred to see USB instead. There is a plastic bag on the installed in air filter itself that must be removed first before usage – there is an instruction card on the top of the fan which does tell you this.

The air filter is large and has three stages of filtration, a nylon pre-filter that can catch any larger debris, a HEPA filter and finally carbon filter. The filters are non-washable but is recyclable. The company claims that the filter will last around 3-6 months, and will then need to be replaced which costs around 25. Depending on usage, you can judge for yourself when you need to change the air filter. As its removable you can always check to see what condition its in – personally, I don’t see a need to have to change it as frequently as the manufacturer recommends.

The controls are easy and simple to use. It has a touch sensitive control surface that is with a white LED indicator (it has a dim brightness level so it won’t be too bright in dark environments). It has a built in timer which can keep the purifier running for 2, 4 or 8 hours and then automatically shuts off. The unit has four settings for fan speed, low, medium, high and sleep mode. Night mode is basically the exact same speed as low, so I’m not sure why its a feature. Also, the timer function cannot be used in sleep mode, so it seems a bit redundant to have it there. High fan speed seems to pull through a lot of airflow, lower fan speeds do not but are much quieter. It does emit a fair bit of vibration, so it needs to be placed on a solid stable surface that can absorb the vibration. It has a slow fan curve where the fan ramps up and slows down smoothly.

Overall, for this price point it would have been nice to see a built in de-humidifier as well, but as purely just an air filter its a solid well built product that performs well. Thank you for reading my review, if you found it helpful let me know below!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is the first air purifier in our home and we mainly wanted it for our living room where we have a connected open plan kitchen. So mainly wanted the air purifier to clean the smell/air coming out of our kitchen. We have been using it for the past few weeks and notice at high speed it does reduce the food smell although not completely but there is a noticeable reduction. Also, I like the auto-close button which has three options 2 hours, 4 hours and 8 hours. This is very practical and avoid the purifier from being kept switched on forever. Especially at the slow mode, it does not produce any noise, therefore, has a high possibility we leave it open and completely forget about it.

Very important to remove the plastic cover from the filter already installed in the purifier. By mistake, I forgot to remove it and after using it for a few hours realise it’s doing nothing :0

On the cost side, the air purifier is reasonably priced however my main concern will be how often the filter needs changing. As per the guide, it’s advised to change every 3 to 6 months. This will also depend on the environment it’s used in. The filter being sold in the range of 25 per piece may make it more expensive if I end up changing every 3 months though.

Overall good product but slight high filter cost make me give it 4 *

I do hope this review helped you.

Effective but remember to remove plastic on the pre fitted filter before first use :)

With its True HEPA filter, 3 power levels and a sleep quiet mode this Greenote purifier is impressive and performs as such. The touch control panel is very straightforward and there is audio to confirm each function once pressed.

Coverage is good and it is effective in all room sizes within our home.

Definite air quality improvement and I’d happily recommend as it’s a quality item.

The purifier is very quiet. I have placed it in my daughter’s room as she starts coughing if the air is polluted (dust, allergens etc.). It does the job well, cleans the air from pollution, is quiet so she can sleep with no disruptions. A bit disappointed by the controls of it, it doesn’t have an automatic detection and can’t be controlled with an app, it’s either constantly on or you can use a timer, this is a bit inconvenient but other than this, I think it’s perfect for a child’s room.

  24. KathaleRaymond says:

We do have an air purifier in a living room but it, much bigger than this, so we use it in the bedroom. Which because of its small size are really perfect for it. Don’t be misled by the size it’s still powerful and the built quality is really good too. The design is quite nice and it will fit easily most of the rooms and will not stand out. Controlling this purifier is easy, and you do it with a touch-sensitive panel. As well the same panel will show if you will need to change a filter.
So it has a timer setting which I never really used, as I don’t think it’s useful really.
I always use the night mode, which is really good as you don’t hear at all the purifier working bus its still cleaning the air of course not as fast or good as at day then using normal mode but still the air is moving through it.
And the normal mode is quite good throughout the day just to leave it on so it would clean the air continuously. It has 3 different speeds so whatever you prefer of course the stronger you go the louder it gets. It’s not so loud but still can hear the fan working.

A pricey but fully-featured air purifier for smaller rooms: : It has three basic modes plus a timer, and there is an overnight setting that reduces the noise output to a barely-there 22db. It’s discretely designed too, with a small footprint, so is ideal for a bedroom.

There are a few caveats. Apart from the price of the unit, which is currently 99.99, making it about the most expensive available within this speciification, there is the matter of the replaceable filters, which need to be changed every 3-6 months (the machine has an alert) and cost 26 pounds each, so you are looking at between 50 and 100+ a year to maintain it. That’s quite a hefty annual outlay for something that is only really powerful enough for a smaller room. It is very quiet, though…

    Enjoy the silence.

Had this in my bedroom for a week and my allergies have seemingly disappeared. Didn’t realise this would make such a big difference.

The item itself is well built and well designed, its very easy to set up and use and is near silent on night mode – while still filtering a decent amount of air. Infact it’s so quiet, I can sleep comfortably with it on its second highest setting.

So good I’m looking at getting another for my living room. Would definitely recommend.

This arrived in a Greenote branded top opening box with images of the air purifier on the outside along with a listing of the various modes and the specifications. The unit was well protected with bespoke moulded card both ends holding it securely along with being wrapped in a polythene sleeve, on the top you get the power lead and instructions.

First impressions: this has quite a sleek look to it with a plain cream colour and the Greenote logo on the, it has grey vents top and bottom. The power connection is half way up the back of the unit rather than being at the bottom as you would normally expect, I presume to avoid the need of wires down by the filter. The base removes easily to gain access to the filter which comes plastic sealed so you need to remove this before use. The display is an LED illuminated disk in the top centre and overall the unit looks quite nice.

After unpacking everything I had a read through the manual, I found this to be well laid out with good detail along with linked diagrams. After removing the plastic seal from the air filter I gave it a try out, the first thing I would say is the LED display is very dim and hard to see clearly in normal light, there is no adjustment to the light brightness other than setting to sleep mode which dims it, and then the lights turn off but you can’t turn off or dim the lights in normal modes.

The noise level when running I didn’t find too loud or obtrusive even when running at the highest level, these modes switch easily with the touch screen and it has inbuilt memory so will automatically be on the last used mode when switch on even if it has been unplugged. I tested out the all the modes and three pre-set timers of 2H — 4H — 8H which worked perfectly cutting out/switching off at the designated time. The sleep mode is very low fan speed and works well making it very easy to sleep through.

I have been using this day and night since it arrived and it seems to perform really well, I suffer from grass pollen allergy which isn’t a problem this time of year so hopefully this should help when it is. It seems to do a very good job of removing dusk particles and even kitchen odours as well. The filters have a lifespan or between 3-6 months (2800 hours) and the machine has a warning light to tell you when it needs changing, you should also be aware the cost of a replacement filter is a quarter of the price of the whole unit.

Overall in my opinion this performs really well, it’s nice and quiet and has a reasonable amount of modes it can be set to. Although the touch screen worked very well I did think it had very poor brightness making it hard to see clearly, it had no brightness adjustment along with limited ways of switching it off completely. In my opinion a very good air purifier slightly let down by the poor display.

Works really well, let down a bit by the poor display

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis air purifier from Greenote feels premium in terms of build quality with a good responsive touch control panel and performance to match. Air purifiers typically follow the same principle of sucking in air through the base holes, which then passes through the filter before the now clean air is blown out the top, and this one follows that process.

The included filter is located in the base and accessed via an easy to unscrew grey plastic screw. Please remember to take the filter out and remove the plastic wrap before using the air purifier.

Once the filter is put back and the base screwed up you are good to go. the option of either having it on all the time or you can set one of three timers to switch it off after an allotted time period.

I’m using ours in the bedroom where I put it on at night as I not only want cleaner air as I sleep but I also like the gentle fan/white noise it produces in Nighttime mode.

The other concern with these vertical fan designs is that if left switched off for a few days dust will undoubtedly settle on the fan blades and you cannot easily clean them. That then means when it’s switched on you are potentially blowing dust up into the room from the blades. My advice is that if leaving unused and unattended I would unplug and cover the unit.

If I just look at this device by itself, it’s very good. It’s quiet enough on night mode to sleep, while pushing a good amount of air on the other settings. The filter is easy to change, and it’s a stylish looking unit with good touch controls. I was just expecting a little bit more.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis compact air purifier includes a 1.46m cable and simple to operate with the benefit of timer options. I’ve tested this for a few days now, testing the air flow, suction on the different settings. On the highest setting testing on smoke it does draw the smoke and filter it well. On the lowest setting and the air flow is minimal to the point it’s probably only cleaning the air local to the machine, which I guess isn’t an issue if you have it near you while sleeping, but at 30cm high and around 20cm diameter you need some space to place it on a table near you.

The biggest cost with these purifiers is the filter replacements. This one states 3000hrs before the change filter light comes on, but will depend on how extreme the conditions used are, as it’s over 8 months using for 12hrs a day. At the near 100 standard price this is expensive when you compare what others are available, the 50 with the offer price is more realistic.

Very quiet night mode but not sure how effective it is on low speeds

This was my first test of an air purifier and was surprised at how quiet it is. I’m a light sleeper and yet it did not disturb my sleep, which was rather unexpected.

The purifier is easy to control with a timer to suit your needs. It helps to know you can fall asleep without the fear of it running all night – even though it is low energy consumption I wouldn’t want to run it for more than a few hours at a time.

I found it helpful to eliminate cooking smells – especially the Sunday lunch cabbage and vegetable odours that seem to linger far longer than the meal takes to eat.

An attractive medium-sized air purifier for home use, this Greenote product packed more of a punch than I expected it to! Designed to capture 99.97% of airborne particles including dust, smoke, mould and pet odour, this seemed the perfect answer and so far, it has been.

For one, this is the quietest air purifiers I’ve ever used and as there are different settings, including a sleep setting, it’s perfect for use overnight. There are no lights and on the lowest setting especially, barely any noise, so even for light sleepers this is a winner. There are higher settings that are louder, and perfect for use during the day time as a ‘boost’ for each room. This has a timer, meaning this can be left unattended and will automatically turn off, and, according to the product description, a very low energy rating.

For a home with dogs, like ours, this has made a significant difference and especially for my husband, who does suffer from allergies, when we’ve used this overnight he has not awoken feeling groggy, swollen or sore which is such an improvement and goes to show how much this is doing to the quality of our air. This is a mid-priced product and I’d say in line with the quality of the product. I would happily recommend.

This is a smaller sized air filter, perfect for bedrooms.
It is easy to operate and runs quietly, with a noise level I found easy to sleep through.it just quietly runs in the background doing its job and cleaning up the air in the house with no problems or issues and when the filter needs changing it lets me know.
It can be run for a few hours or constantly, I dog sat yesterday for a friend and boosted it while the dog was here and for a few hours after, this meant my usual symptoms ( itchy eyes, blocked then runny nose, headache) were much less than they would have been.

The controls are intuitive and simple and the instructions clear.

As someone who suffers from dust allergies, hayfever breathing difficulties with air fresheners, perfumes etc I have used air filters for some time and while this is not the biggest or most expensive I have used it is certainly one of the better ones.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis is a well made, neat and compact air purifier ideally suited to a bedroom, smaller lounge or kitchen up to about 40m2. Most noticeable to me is how quiet it is in its lower speeds and it lacks the often-irritating fan roar of so many other machines making it barely noticeable in an already quiet room. On its highest setting, 3 of 3, then the fan does become very noticeable so this is probably better saved for use in the kitchen.

All controls are on the top with a touch sensitive pad to select between the three fan speeds and optional 2/4/8 hour timer plus an overnight setting running at just 22dB.

While the lower two settings are very quiet, the overnight setting is near silent. With the machine 2m from my bed then I strain to hear it at all and, pleasingly, the already dim LED display switches off to ensure a dark room remains dark without distractions. Even the lightest sleeper should not notice this.

In terms of performance, my husband suffers with respiratory issues and finds he is much clearer headed with this purifier running in the background, supplementing two further purifiers in other rooms.

I notice an improvement in air quality, particularly in the winter when it’s too cold to fling the windows open wide. The air feels lighter and fresher and I think it helps my breathing at night too.

Replacement AP10-F3 HEPA filters are readily available via Amazon and easy to change every 3-6 months by unscrewing the unit’s base. At 25.99 they aren’t cheap but never are with any air purifier.

I am very happy with this purchase so far, for its design and performance and especially its quiet fan which is by far the quietest air purifier I have used to date.
