So far so good
As above, impressed so far, easy to use but only used the hedge trimmer so far. Saves loads of hassle not needing extensions or mixing fuel etc. You can get stuck into the work much quicker. One criticism, batteries could do with lasting longer, but overall very good.
Good but very heavy
The product seems well made and works very well but I find it difficult to use due to its weight. If you don’t have good upper body strength you might check for a lighter option.

Faulty
We bought this as a warehouse deal thinking that it was only damaged packaging but it was actually faulty. A terminal was bent backwards nearthe battery. My husband was really needing this for his work and is fortunately very handy and was able to fix it. Quite disappointing that this was sold as new condition.
Pleased
Used this to cut down some small conifers in my garden and also to trim neighbours hedge intruding into my property. The pole saw sliced through the conifers easily and chopped some tree branches leaning on my gutters without problem.
When used with extension the weight can become a little heavy but still controllable.
The hedge trimmer impressed me greatly . I already have a standard mains powered Bosch hedge trimmer and this battery powered Greenworks is far superior in cutting through thicker hedge parts easily.

Early days but easy to put together and very easy to use. Only issue when at full length it’s heavy. But overall a lovely piece of kit. Don’t know about battery life yet.
Great products especially the polesaw
Easy to use and powerful. That’s my impression using these tools. They are life savers for working on high hedge and cutting branches. However, the pole hedge trimmer stops working during my first cut. Amazon has been extremely helpful and prompt to send out a replacement for me. The pole saw on the other hand works great and relentlessly, helping to trim some branches of the two big trees in my garden. And the 2Ah battery still has not been drained out.
Nach 15 Sekunden defekt aber sofortiger Tausch
Leider war die Heckenschere nach 15 Sekunden defekt und klackerte nur noch. Es wurde aber sofort getauscht. Die neue funktioniert. Das schne ist das man auch in 3 Meter Hhe ohne Leiter noch die Hecke abrasieren kann. Der Astschneider ist absolut Klasse. Der Haut die dicksten ste durch.
!!! Aber das Gewicht ist ordentlich vor allem mit dem 4Ah Akku. Wenn man aber mit dem Gurt arbeitet funktioniert es einwandfrei.

Basico ma molto pratico
Ormai le batterie stanno sostituendo sempre pi spesso i motori a scoppio, e questo vale anche nel campo degli attrezzi per il giardinaggio.
Naturalmente la potenza e l’autonomia di un motore a scoppio, per quanto concerne poi utensili con lame per il tagli di rami e arbusti, difficile da eguagliare, soprattutto per prodotti dal costo abbastanza limitato.
Ma questo tagliasiepi davvero un buon prodotto soprattutto considerando il suo prezzo. La batteria ha una discreta durata e la sua ricarica molto rapida.
Nella confezione, oltre alla lama pettinata tagliasiepi, presente anche una mini motosega adatta a rami fino al diametro di 8 centimetri. E’ presente anche un’asta che permette di allungare l’attrezzo e mettere alla sua estremit indifferentemente o il tagliasiepi o la mini motosega. Naturalmente con l’aggiunta dell’asta centrale l’attrezzo acquista un p di peso in pi.
Il tagliasiepi pu essere inclinato in varie posizioni cosa che rende il taglio molto comodo. Anche la mini sega elettrica, o potatore, molto semplice e facile da usare, ma consiglio naturalmente di leggere attentamente le istruzioni ed usare sempre guanti e visiera protettiva, si tratta comunque di lame affilate in movimento!
Lo reputo un prodotto adatto soprattutto a coloro che iniziano a lavorare per la prima volta nel loro giardino.
La prima volta che ho usato questo prodotto, dopo un’abbondante ora di utilizzo, le lame del tagliasiepi hanno inspiegabilmente smesso di funzionare. Ho chiamato immediatamente Amazon, visto che correttamente indicato nelle istruzioni che se qualcosa non funziona non si deve aprire per nessun motivo il motore ma chiamare subito l’assistenza.
Ho cos parlato con un addetto a cui ho spiegato dettagliatamente la situazione, addetto che ha immediatamente fatto partire la procedura di reso tanto che la sera del giorno dopo mi stato consegnato un nuovo prodotto, mentre io la mattina avevo rispedito quello non funzionante. Servizio davvero competente e assolutamente efficiente!

Ottimo prodotto, per uno come me che pratica il giardinaggio saltuariamente e con piccole esigenze il prodotto ideale. Pratico, leggero, silenzioso e pulito …. quelli a benzina per me erano fin troppo. Mi sento comunque di consigliarlo.

Die Gerte rauchen sehr schnell ab. Die Brsten sind viel zu kurz, respektiv unterliegen hoher Abnutzung. Habe trotzdem ein drittes nachgekauft, weil Ladergerte und Akkus vorhanden sind und sich die Mittelstcke der kaputten Gerte verbinden lassen und so UNSCHLAGBAR hoch oben geschnitten werden kann. Das originale Schwert ist fr schrge Schnitte oft zu kurz: Schwert und Kette temporr aus anderer Sge einsetzen und gut ist. Fr gelegentlichen seltenen Gebrauch als schnelle Lsung sehr gut.

Consegna nei tempi previsti. Usato come motosega funziona benissimo,per chi non del mestiere ricordarsi di controllare sempre il livello dell’olio catena. Come tagliasiepi devo ancora usarlo ma credo funzioni bene. Non leggero ma penso che il compromesso tra robustezza e peso sia ottimo.

Great bit of ki
I don’t often write reviews but this bit of kit is worth it, it’s very good, it’s cut through big limbs on my old apple tree like butter and It cut off all the long 1nch thick shoots off those limbs and still going strong when I put the battery on charge.
It’s cut through our very overgrown tree in the front garden this morning and as you can see, lots of limbs cut off and then paired down to more manageable lengths for when the wood chipping guy comes to munch it up and still life left in the battery.
The only down side was I found it a bit awkward when I first got it but work with it you will find the best way to balance it for you, I personally found it best used without the neck harness and I’m nearly 70,
The only down side was when using the hedge trimmer attachment after only the second time of using it, it jammed and I couldn’t get it free and the motor on that attachment started to smoke.
Phoned the greenwoorks guys and, they apologised for the problem and said they would replace it and that they had, had design issues that they have addressed so it would be the new model, but it might take a couple of months due to supply issues because of covid this was in Oct, then just before Christmas I got a lovely Christmas present, a shiny new replacement.
Haven’t used it yet but will be soon, so will let you know!
But overall, great service, great bit of kit, saved me several hundreds in hiring a tree surgeon but I’m very aware that some would say I haven’t been safe working on a ladder, hey ho, I worked down the pits when we had them and all I can say is ‘ I took my time assessed the job in hand took all necessary precautionsfor falling debris and for my safty and any passing pedestrians just like when I had old mother Warwichshire hanging over my head,lol!

This is a solid piece of kit. Yes it is heavy to use but cuts the branches and high hedges to size with ease. Good battery life too.

I noticed as I was looking that this model had a 40 volt battery which was more powerful than rivals in the same price range. I have cut huge conifer stems with this and it is just so amazing. Really powerful. Choice of arm length, been using up on a ladder. Absolutely delighted. Highly recommend

Very versatile well made tool.
I use to cut a an 8 foot leylandii hedge so the long reach copes well,although it is quite heavy to handle. Battery life is excellent and recharges quickly.

Erstaunlich viel Akku frs Geld! Htte nicht gedacht, wie stark das Teil doch arbeiten kann. Habe schon einiges im Garten damit geschnitten und bin berzeugt. Sowohl von der Heckenschere als auch der kleinen Kettensge. Klar braucht man eine gewisse Kraft bzw. krperliche Stabilitt, wenn man das Teil in der kompletten Lnge benutzt – das drfte aber eigentlich klar sein. Fr mich hat sich der kauf gelohnt!

This is a good, easy to use, relatively lightweight gadget, bought for its hedge trimmer capability, so haven’t used the saw attachment. I am a little suspicious of its robustness as the original unit failed first time out, replacement from Amazon working OK, though I am avoiding “thick” branches.

Avevo provato solo la sega del portatore e mi ero trovato abbastanza bene, in questi giorni dovevo spuntare una siepe di un centinaio di metri, ho iniziato e tutto procedeva bene, fatto 20 metri di siepe si rotto il tagliasiepi, praticamente il motorino della lama girava ma la lama non si muoveva, forse gli ingranaggi sono di plastica e si sono rotti. Purtroppo ho lasciato il lavoro appena iniziato ed andare via. Forse chi pi spende, meno spende, molto deluso

Un buon attrezzo
La funzionalit e la praticit di questo utensile sono indiscutibili.
Molto pratico nell’uso, offre la possibilit di lavorare senza i condizionamenti legati ad attrezzi a motore od elettrici.
Punto fondamentale per me che non bisogna pretendere che un utensile a batteria possa offrire le stesse prestazioni, se sottoposto ad un uso gravoso, di attrezzi a motore con possibilit diverse.
Ottimo quindi per il fai da te domestico, meno indicato per impieghi pi gravosi.

Seems of sturdy construction and also comes with a harness so when using the extension you have the machine supported, as with other reviews is quite unbalanced and heavy when at its maximum extension.
Both hedge trimmer and chainsaw attachments work as they should ,there design is not for massive branches but normal garden requirements when trimming and lopping trees hedges and the like.
And for this they should do well ,battery life on a 2.0 40v is ok but you could buy other or bigger ah to extend use before charging is needed ,quick charger so about a hour from low ,battery has a button by the power indicator,so you can see what charge is left.
Battery drains more when using chainsaw compared to hedge trimmer,but that of course because you are cutting into thicker branches.
Would find gets quite heavy after fair use,but shoulder strap offers some assistance in weight bearing.
Ergonomics a little out but this doesn’t detract from its abilities ,also more trailing electrical lead to trip over or cut through .
Will be looking to getting another battery as just need that extra to complete all tasks when getting garden ready for winter cutting back etc.

Good Product But A Good Work Ou
This is a great product, nicely made, sturdy, fits together well. Does the job nicely and outs up with quite a lot of abuse. (I cut a branch over an inch thick with the hedge trimmer). The chainsaw works nicely and is easy to maintain. This is almost a pro bit of kit. It is heavy though guys. When you have all three sections fitted together, and the strap is a bit useless. I am a 45 year old heathy man (ok I work in IT) and 30mins is about as much as I can do with this. Be prepared for the arm ache and understand that it will take a while to learn how to hold it. It’s a good piece of kit.
Heavy, but well built?
Look, I feel you need to be the winner of the Worlds Strongest to be able to use this out the box! It’s heavy, but there again it doesn’t appear flimsy!
With the 3 ‘poles’ connected I found it a struggle to control, even with the strap. However, you can move the strap mounting. I’m doing that to try and find the best point for the strap mounting to keep control , for me. I would recommend finding the best position for you, for the strap, its worth the little extra effort!
If you don’t need the extension ‘poles’, my advice would be don’t use them.
I bought a ‘shorter’ trimmer to trim a shorter hedge. (Wise move?)
My trimming a taller hedge won’t pass the muster of the neatly trimmed hedge police! Heavy ‘poles’ and factory fitted strap position made the job difficult, although a lot quicker than a ladder and hand tools and I’ve finally reached bits I couldn’t before. Who really cares about the neatly trimmed hedge police anyway?

Unfortunately, I tried to fill the chain oil reservoir too quickly and it didn’t put any chain oil in the reservoir, just filled the top of the tank and overflowed. Had to ‘drain’ and then dribble the oil in. Had to put my reading glasses on to see the level on the chain saw reservoir change as the reservoir is almost as translucent as the chain saw oil. Have yet to find a way to turn the chain saw to trim the ‘stumps’ at the top of the hedge that the trimmer can’t deal with.
I got the whole thing working pretty soon after getting it all out the box and charging the battery. (The fully charged battery allowed me to trim the smaller front hedge, about 25 x 3 x 8 ft, and the top of the larger back hedge, about 40 x 8 ft, on one battery charge and quickly. Nothing is too difficult to do and it does what it says it will do, both the trimmer and the chain saw, so far!
Would I buy again? Why would I when I’ve already got one?
Versatile useful tool
I bought the Greenworks Hedge Trimmer and Saw to avoid having to clamber up step ladders and worry about over reaching with electric cables being in the vicinity . Its a useful tool and tackles any trimming activities with ease , I also like the adaptable head position , it allows you to get sculpted shapes to mature shrubs with ease. The chain saw attachment I would recommend only using on established solid branches ie dont try and cut anything that is flexible you will struggle . Overall Im very pleased with the tool, battery power is good and lasst well, perhaps just over an hour with a lot of activity in that time , charges quickly . The only downside I would add is that fully extended the tool is quite heavy , although the battery and the tool attachment do balance each other quite well , it is heavy after extended use . Overall very pleased though

J’ai reu aujourd’hui cette merveille. J’avais dj achet une tondeuse de la mme marque et donc une batterie. Le taille haie est top pour tailler en hauteur les ttes d’arbustes. Avec la perche le poids est assez lourd mais on peut appuyer l’outil sur cuisse pour aider.
La petite trononneuse est plus lgre avec la perche en simple ou double. Il faut prvoir de l’huile de Chaine. Elle coupe des bonnes branches de 15cm facile.
Le tout semble vraiment solide et l’autonomie avec une batterie de 4A est vraiment trs bonne, plus longue avec la trononneuse.
Ravi de mon achat, et de ne plus avoir de fil la patte.

Brilliant piece of kit, cuts hedges really easy. Slightly awkward but easily mastered would recommend highly.

Utilizzer questo articolo meno di 10 volte l’anno e per brevissima durata, per cui l’attrezzo che fa per me, se dovessi utilizzarlo per altro penso che prender un’altra batteria.
p.s. mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare un nebulizzatore da utilizzare con la stessa batteria, ma purtroppo manca nella gamma di prodotti :'(

Un attrezzo completo
Multitool piuttosto completo e ben fatto. leggero ma, con le prolunghe installate, stanca comunque facilmente quando si lavora in alto con le braccia alzate. La potenza non male, pensavo decisamente peggio. Con 1 batteria da 2Ah si fanno almeno 30 metri di siepe, ma prendendoci la mano forse anche il doppio.
Buono ma non per lavori più duri
Mi piaciuto la praticit del tagliai siepi.non mi piaciuto, dopo circa 30 minuti , nel tagliare un rametto di 2 cm.circa si bloccava e le forbici non si sbloccavano pi.

Have only used this once, had bought a different branded one Amazon before, and had to send it back, as it broke. So spent more on this one.
This tool I spent alot more on as wanted something that was gonna be more reliable.
Was able to take 2ft of bushes down, and the chainsaw really helped as there were some really thick branches.
It is a heavy tool, so be prepared, but hopefully that’s because it is made better.
The battery lasted around an hour and 20 mins, and being a 40v battery it felt alot more powerful.
My only flaw is that I think it is a bit overpriced, but I’m hoping that this will stand the test of time.

A great piece of kit! I’ve done 2 jobs with it and it’s probably paid for itself. I bought this device with an eye to the future, a possible purchase of a new lawnmower and, of course, it would make sense to buy one that uses the same battery. Based on my initial experience I can see no reason why I shouldn’t buy a Greenworks mower.

I bought this device with an eye to the future, a possible purchase of a new lawnmower and, of course, it would make sense to buy one that uses the same battery. Based on my initial experience I can see no reason why I shouldn’t buy a Greenworks mower.

Plus compliqu manipuler que je ne l’imaginais, du fait du poids et du systme de bandoulire que j’ai du mal exploiter efficacement. (d’o seulement 4 toiles).
Attention au branches de plus d’un centimtre, la lame du taille haie s’est bloque (a a t rgl en desserrant puis resserrant les vis de la lame).
Une fois qu’on s’est habitu au poids et la maniabilit, c’est un gain de temps norme pour la taille de haies (je dirais que je vais 4 5 fois plus vite).
J’ai galement utilis la trononneuse, et j’ai t trs agrablement surpris par la simplicit d’utilisation et l’efficacit du matriel (j’tais plutt rfractaire ce type d’outils, mais la lame au bout de la perche et loin de moi m’a rconcili avec la trononneuse :-).
Bref, je recommande, mais ne pensez pas que le travail n’est pas physique pour autant 🙂

Sega funziona ma perde olio.
Buon prodotto. Il tagliasiepi funziona ottimamente. La sega perde irrimediabilmente olio purtroppo.

Usato sabato scorso per potare 200 siepi di Lauro,il grosso fatto a mano e il medio/piccolo con il tosasiepi,perfetto,ho anche acquistato una batteria da 6 ah ma alla fine non la ho nemmeno usata,tra una pausa e l’altra con due cariche ho utilizzato solo la batteria da 2 ah.
I coltelli dal tosasiepi sono di buona fattura,han tagliato i rami senza fatica,ed una siepe molto legnosa,non avendola mai potata in 5 anni.Son davvero soddisfatto, lo consiglio a tutti

Avendo esperienza con strumenti a scoppio, trovo che non essendoci il motore nella parte terminale opposta alla lama, risulta pi “pesante” da manovrare.
