Suction !
It’s good ,used on stairs and corners etc everywhere my gtec air ram upright can’t get but it is a little heavy ,could do with a flexy tool then it would be 100%

Only used once so far for 2 flights of stairs but suction is very good, hands down best battery operated handheld I have owned.
It does start to feel quite heavy after a while, but honestly, I feel like that’s quite minor. Can’t fault it thus far. Great auction and soo easy to empty.

Very good quality, as you would expect at this price. This is built to last and comes with an impressive pack of fittings, spare filter and odorisers. My only criticism is that it is fairly heavy compared with the dyson equivalent, but that is a minor gripe. Battery life is good and the rotating head is particularly good for stairs and carpets. Good value and recommended.

The only gripe is emptying, which is fiddly. That seems to case on most cordless vacuums, even the Dyson.

A very good Hoover for stairs and I’m waiting for the weather to get better so I can do the car, As I purchased the upright It was a little bit heavier than the upright. But well worth buying.

We hesitated on buying one of these, but there really was no need to – it’s much better than expected.
We’ve also got one of the large g-tech vacuum which paired with this has meant our carpets are all incredibly clean and all much easier to clean – both being wireless makes it all so much easier!

I bought this in December 2020 when the price was reduced to 119. I’ve been watching the price for a while and it’s worth waiting as it’s discounted several times a year (prime day, Christmas, etc).
The vacuum is good and works well for cleaning the car, cleaning the join between skirting board and carpet, down the back of the sofa.. etc etc. It’s a little heavy to use one handed for a long time and it makes a lot of noise considering it isn’t very big, bit they are minor things vs the performance which is great.
As others have said, there is a 50% off voucher for the car kit in the box. I’ve cleaned my car without the kit and don’t consider that to be neccessary.

Powerful Handheld Vacuum
We’ve had a Dyson handheld, and recently a Black and Decker. But this G-Tech version is so much better. Real suction power, decent cleaning, easy to empty. I’m a real fan.
The only small disadvantage is that there’s no charging cable, you just have to run a cable to the base of the vacuum.
Nevertheless, this is an excellent product, well worth the money.
It’s a must have around the house.
I bought this gadget mainly to clean around our budgie cage. It is proving so versatile we are using it for all types of jobs around the house and even the car. An excellent purchase.

I only use for the car where it is ideal. Small enough to get into all the areas but with enough suction to pick up road grit etc

The real weakness is Gtech’s website. I have tried 4 or 5 times to register. I can’t even use the code CAR19 to buy the car kit on the website. The website doesnt even have a search facility. The website is a letdown for a good product, pity.

I find this easy to use on the stairs. It feels a little heavier towards the last step but a lot easier than my big vacuum.

It has exceeded expectations. Perfect for the stairs and smaller areas. The suction is great and the battery life more than we have ever needed. We did have an issue with one of the parts but contacted G Tech who responded immediately and new part received within 24 hours during a pandemic!

As I got older I was finding hard to balance my vacuum cleaner in one hand whilst using the other hand to apply the flexible hose to the stair carpet. Gtech multi makes this so easy. Also great for vacuuming up pet hairs from the settees.
Great suction, easy to charge, attachment stores up the handle which is good, easy to unclip the cylinder to empty it but not so easy to actually get the dirt and fluff out from inside the cylinder, only thing I don’t like about it is the amount of draft it causes coming out the back of the Hoover straight onto your face when you’re hoovering the stairs, I purposely bought this purely for the stairs I have a robot hoover that does the whole house but just needed something decent with a brush to get all the hairs of the stairs, this does a great job

This handheld vacuum is great, I use it all the time. It’s lightweight enough to do the stairs easily. The suction power is just as good as any upright vacuum. I sometimes get it out just to do a quick clean of the living room rather than the full vacuum. We have a dog and a long haired cat and it more than keeps up with what they shed and track around.
Super value handheld vacuum
Wanted to support this British company, after they helped with the Covid ventilator challenge. Very pleased with this handheld vacuum. It’s got an on/off button (unlike the Dyson) and it’s great value for money. Powerful suction and some good tools for getting into places and brush head great for cleaning sofa or carpet. Very early days but pleased.

I can’t fault this product, it’s brilliant!! I have two full flights of stairs in my house and my up right vacum cleaner (the make of which begins with a D) is bulky and heavy and has no small attachment for stairs, so cleaning the stair cases has been hard work for years. That has now completely changed, thanks to the gtech multi hand held. It is easy enough to use one handed, the brush head is the perfect size for stairs, its small enough to store in a cupboard, its got great suction power and the brush head even has a little light on it!! All those stupid little things that anoy you about vacum cleaners – Gtech have sorted them!! Its incredibly easy to get to the filter if you need to clean it. Its very easy to empty the bin. Very quick and easy to change the attachments. Easy peesey to get the brush head out if you need to replace or clean it and they have a brilliant little way of getting the hair out of the bristles. It arrives with some charge on it (not full) so you can test it out straight out of the box. AND the packaging is all recyclable!! I can not reccomend this highly enough.
Bought this to replace a Dyson handheld vacuum which gave up the ghost (battery lasted about 30 seconds, and the bin clogged up). A month in and am really pleased with it. The narrow nozzle stashes neatly into the handle, which is a nice touch. Suction power is good – easily enough for cleaning up spills, crumbs, cobwebs etc. Battery life is great. I’ve only had to recharge it once so far.
It is heavier than the Dyson, though. And bigger. So consider whether weight is an issue, and where you’re going to store it.
Would be great if it came with a bag to store the attachments, recharging cable etc.

Love this product. Bought it to do my stairs with as all other floors are hardwood, and it’s perfect. I have a cavalier spaniel and she sheds like there’s no tomorrow at this time of year, and this hoover picks it all up with hardly any effort. Fantastic little gadget well worth the money.

Gtech replaced main body but Gtech customer service very slow and not the most user friendly company.

First impressions
Ok to clarify I will update this review after a few weeks. I have only used it once.
First impressions were disappointing really.. the plastic looks so cheap.. feels so cheap. The picture on here shows a grey rubberised handle with different textured finishes on the unit itself. Where as you can see from my picture it’s all just cheap plastic.
The suction seems quite weak.. I mean it did the job around the skirting boards but if you hold it to your hand it feels less than impressive. This is with the crevice tool attached.
Using the roller heads again it feels under powered, it does the job but it will not impress.
Weightwise it isnt heavy, but it isn’t light. If you have dexterity issues it may become troublesome. The intended nozzle and crevice tool are wobbly.
All the dust seems to concentrate around the seal of the lid of the bucket. Actually underneath said seal. Which indicates the seal isn’t sealing that well?
The fragrances cartridges smell like burnt rubber or plastic. Far from pleasant. I won’t be using them. Although instructions say you MUST. I’m guessing just ripping the carriage off but keeping the cap in place will be fine.
I got it mainly to get into edge since the regular gtech can’t . It works in that regard it just seems like it should cost like 70 -90 not 170 at all.
Glad I opted for the K9 model as this has the motorised brush bar – this helps to loosen the dirt – as the suction on these is adequate at best. When I tested without the motorised brush bar, and just had the crevice nozzle on, it struggled to move any dirt from my staircase. This was bought purely for the stairs leading up to my flat, and even though I do not have a pet, the K9 model was one that a friend recommended to me because of the suction issue. For the extra 20, it is worth buying this model. The motorised brush bar works a treat, and it only takes me a few minutes to clean the stairs with this. I use my Tech Air Ram for the rest of the flat. So, if you want the mobility, and ease of use of the multi, I recommend the K9 version.
A good GTech implement.
This was an excellent buy and used as a gift to match a previously own vacuum cleaner. A good all rounder for stairs, curtains and around room perimeters where a normal size cleaner cannot reach. Battery doesn’t appear to hold charge for more than 25 minutes.

Easy to use and holds the charge longe
So I had the original model that come out but unfortunately that just stopped working last year but when the new one came out I just had to have one.
I am very happy indeed with this model and I use it in the home and in the car and it’s great and does everything it’s advertised to do and easy to handle.

Brilliant little vacuum cleaner.
I would have given this a full 5 star rating, it’s almost perfect but for two things: there needs to be a crevice tool without the brush for getting into corners and a longer extension tube would be perfect.

Totally portable and powerful tool
Absolutely love this, we use the Gtech at work and it comes with spare cleanable filters and everything you need. We’ve had this for five months now and have used it in testing circumstances, sand, dirt, spilt coffee grains you name it, it eats it up! Exactly what we needed and would thoroughly recommend 🙂

And never imagined being driven to review or rate a vacuum cleaner, but it really does the job.
Bought it for the convenience of doing the sofa & rug for the cat plus stairs. Sofa was a breeze, the rug really came up and the stairs were done in a jiffy without breaking my back. It lasted for a good 20-25 mins…plenty enough.
The tools are all far-reaching and the powered rotating brush thing goes deep and gets the rug nap up, but it’s ok on upholstery & cushions too.
I was surprised by how much initial muck it drew, enough to need emptying, but a regular refresh round would only take 5 mins.
The Dyson was the only other contender. While it had a few extra bells & whistles and undoubtedly does the job, I was on a budget and chose this with no regrets.
I found no cheaper contenders with the power needed where pets are involved.
A useful and versatile vacuum
Wish I’d bought one sooner! Great suction and good for sorting out small spills and where my cat has left hair. Can get into the small spaces that my standard sized vacuum can’t… .especially with the “headlight” for small dark corners, etc. Really good for hard floors – much more efficient than large cleaner. I now prefer to use this than upright vacuum on my tiled rooms.

Dislike the fact the battery goes from 50% to 0% in a matter of seconds. Dislike the fact the brush tool falls off constantly, so I never use that particular tool. Other than that it is an OK purchase.

Good hand hold vacuum, lasts much longer than our previous hover branded one with much more power too.
The rotating brush attachment makes light work of larger areas.
Value for money is not great though, if you want the attachments. For those that do, be aware there’s a voucher in the box for them, which will save you a bunch; which is insulting to those that did purchase both together, thankfully we didn’t.

This little but oh so powerful vacuum cleaner has made cleaning up everyday Mess much easier. Before I’d have to get my large vacuum out but now I just grab this and it does the job. Great alternate heads too for all types of cleaning.

I bought this for my inlaw. Not so well made as the one I purchased for my self. I paid dear for this pair of cleaners and the large cleaner is making a rattle already.
OMG my sofa has never been so clean! It tackled dog hair fantastically and cleaned the muck off my roller blinds. The dogs are still a bit scared of it but not as much as the big hoover. Havent rated it for the stairs yet as have yet to tackle that lovely job, but have high hopes

There’s nothing I dislike regards this product. There’s a lot I do like. Its suction is excellent and as good as my upright Dyson. It easily picks up sand from my car floor mats and also hard to dislodge hairs from the fabric.
Removing the filter is a doddle and the dust container just pulls off the main body with a click to empty. (Its a little stiff to remove at first until it wears in a little).
The suction is very powerful, it even picked up a ‘place mat’ from my dining room table as a test.
It does not last a full 20mins when using the motorised stair attachment but the runtime of 15 min was fine. However when just using suction only and the brush attachment it lasts the full 20mins.
It takes 5 hours to charge from low, however you can get a good 10min of useful service with less than 1 hour of charge. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

I got this specifically for stairs as I have an upright vacuum cleaner that is not suitable for this task. Great for that, easy to empty and maintain. 40 minutes of cleaning on a full charge is more than enough time to do all the stairs and skirting boards too.
Another note on suction: I own a husky and his fur gets everywhere even in places he isn’t allowed to go. This removes that fur from the stairs

The big brother of a dust buster.
Used mainly for stairs and car and small spills. Suction good and variety of nuzzles allows access to awkward corners. The charge only lasts 20 mins and it takes a long time (2 hours +) to charge. So not for frequent use but very lightweight and can be held with one hand.

Multi functional light weight cordless sucke
Works well, pretty good suction, however, that starts to drop with the battery which doesn’t have the longest life. In saying that, I generally use this for stairs and edges so does the house a couple of times before recharge.
Cleaned the car pretty well also so has more flexibility with use than your corded ones.
Lightweight and easy to extend for the cobwebs when they appear.

Good Handheld Vacuum
Really impressed with this handheld vacuum so far. Battery has lasted a decent amount and suction hasn’t faded at all even as battery depletes. The various attachments it comes with are useful too. There is a handy spotlight that shines when you power, so you can see clearly what you are vacuuming.
So easy to pick up and use
I have 2 log haired dogs and they shed hair easily resulting in ‘tumble hair’ rolling across the floor. It is so easy to pick up the Gtech multi and quickly hoover the shed hair in between proper cleans.
I bought this primarily to clean up some textured ceiling chips from the top of our cupboards after getting the ceiling done. It’s surprisingly powerful for a handheld and no problem sucking up even the biggest of the chips. I also tried it out on our carpets with the included attachment and it did a good job getting up some cat hairs, better than our main vacuum in fact.
My only criticism is that the attachments only fit upright and the unit is a bit big to be easy maneuvered in tight spaces, it didn’t fit easily between the cupboard tops and the ceiling or under the bed. It needs a flexi hose really for these situations so I bought the (overpriced) car kit, which comes with one. This did the job on the cupboards but you can’t put attachments on it so not so good for the carpet under the bed. Some reviewers said they got a 50% off voucher for the car kit with the vacuum but I just got a generic 10% off one.
Other than this minor gripe I’m very pleased with it.

Removal of cat hairs
I have two cats and they are constantly sitting on my living room windowsill and my curtains get lots of hair on them. Thankfully the hand held Gtech is brilliant at removing the hair. It’s great for many jobs around the house.
A Pleasant Surprise
Finally decided to give it a go as we have four flights of stairs. This was a really pleasant surprise to find the ‘stairs’ attachment is actually powered from the main battery. Its performance is excellent too.
As for hair, my wife has a BMW ragtop and the next door cat uses it as a deck chair to laze in the sunshine. It is an absolute pain to de-hair as we use rolls and rolls of double sided tape (the rollers for clothing). This machine did the whole top in about 10 minutes and even aligned the knap. Utterly fabulous and a great relief.

Nothing much to dislike regarding this Gtech product it does exactly what we were looking for in a replacement for our old B&D DustBuster. It’s a tad expensive however battery life is very good and I find it just the job for cleaning all the seats , foot wells and between the seats with the Crevise tool. Plus Gtech are moving some manufacturers from China into the UK. Makes a change from companies moving out of the UK.
If you don’t own one of these Air ram products, you do not know what you are missing forget Dyson and his machines, this company has hit the mark, it’s ultra lightweight, compact, versatile, suck’s up dust, like there is no tomorrow, if you hoover once a week, then with the air, you can hoover daily, and when ever, I have both machines, the portable and the upright, the freedom it gives you is immeasurable, air ram guys 100/10.

Loved this cleaner, held charge well. Brilliant on stair carpet, looked like new again. Only one small snag I found is when cleaning the car wells it’s slightly too long, so you have trouble manoeuvring it. Would definitely recommend this product.
This is a great little vac. Lots of power, easy to clean and the filters can be washed. Lots of attachments to handle any job. I also like the fragrance slot, which is a great idea. The motorised head is excellent. Fully recommended.

I love this handheld, had it for a week and it is great for my stairs and for doing around the edge of the carpet/skiting boards where my main G-Tech Air Ram cant reach.
My only disappointment is that the older models came with an extendable flexible hose built in and a solid extension pipe as standard by this has been removed from the MK 2 which would have it harder for older people and those less mobile to use.
Other than that the battery holds its charge well and the suction is excellent. It even pics up hay that my rabbit leaves laying around without an issue unlike every other vacuum hoover I have bought.
Bought for cleaning stairs but it is useful for so many other situations. Had a house full of visitors over the Christmas/New Year and it was useful for quick clean ups on carpets and non carpeted floors. Handy for inside car cleaning.
Ok, I’ll admit it. I was wrong! There, now that’s out of the way I can tell you all the things that are so brilliant about this pocket rocket.
– It has a long run time
– It brushes the pile on your carpet up so nicely that it looks brand new
– You’ve not got to find a socket that is always frustratingly just that little bit too far away
– A good selection of attachments
– I can finally reach all the cobwebs in my house ( we have a team of very productive spiders working round the clock)
– I clean a lot more now the hassle of getting the hoover out and lugging it around has gone.
– Teams up nicely to do the bits that the Air Ram can’t do
– Bagless (I wasn’t prepared for how happy that was going to make me)
I was so married to my trusty miele cylinder that nothing was going to persuade me to give it up, especially something that runs on batteries. I borrowed a friend’s Dyson and that really put me off but this has restored my faith. Love it. Get one, you won’t regret it.
One thing I will say though is don’t pay 50 for the car kit, in the box you get 50% off this which seems far more reasonable considering what you get.
We bought this for a variety of jobs around the house and in the motor caravan that we couldn’t conveniently do with our Henry or Sebo. Mainly we seem to use it for dusting and the office and other parts of the house are much less dusty now. I use it on the keyboard, screen and printer as well as the obvious flat surfaces.
The supplied brush is only 45mm diameter which isn’t really enough. We bought the car kit which includes a 60mm brush which is more useful for most purposes. You can get the brush separately if you don’t want the car kit. We had hoped the car kit extension hose would take a brush on the end but it’s just an oblong fitting which is useful for getting down beside seats etc but doesn’t allow you to use a brush on the parts of the dashboard close to the windscreen or other fiddly areas so that’s a bit of a negative.
It’s good on the stairs where it removes all the dog hair (we have three). Its performance with dog hair on soft furniture varies according to the texture but is at least as good as the Henry.
My main reason for giving it four stars rather than five is the battery. The advertised life is 20′ and it certainly doesn’t do more than that. You then have to wait for four hours for it to charge (which can be done on or off the machine). I’m minded to get a second battery but that costs about 70 which seems a lot.
This is a fantastic product.I bought primarily to do my stairs,as my other vacuum is a pain to carry up and down.But,it is so versatile,and can be used for the car,skirting boards,tabletops,and with the extension pipe,is great for removing cobwebs.The only minus point is it’s ba bit heavy,but I thoroughly recommend it and would definately buy it again.The best hand- held vacuum I’ve ever had.

Brilliant, very handy and good battery life. Suction a little disappointing. Build quality and design faultless. Don’t bother with a Dyson… This is the one to get for value for money and ease of used 9/10.
I paid 119 for a used/refurbed machine that came supplied in an excellent condition, with most of the plastic wrapping still intact on the parts. Powerful suction for a hand held, comes with a number of attachments including a rotary brush that’s great for doing the stair carpet. Solid construction, decent battery life and charging time. The car cleaning attachments kit is very good but don’t pay the new price of 50 when you can find them for half of this on a well known online aution site.
I own the upright version, and find it very effective, but needed something for sofa/stairs/cobwebs.
This is a decent handheld, the suction power is of course much lower than the upright, but it means it’s safer to use on fabric surfaces as nothing clogs it. It’s still effective getting up dirt and dust, and the various attachments are useful. And the small size makes it handy for squeezing into awkward areas.
However, it loses a star as the battery life is short compared to the charging time, and the power button is very stiff – verging on painful to press to get it to respond. The grip also starts to cause discomfort if held for too long, but that might be me holding it incorrectly.
Overall though, a useful addition to household cleaning kit, and definitely glad to have purchased it.

Very pleased with this powerful little handheld vac, lbought it as a present for my son to clean the inside of his car, but I do pinch it to clean the stairs and the furniture, the suction on it is very good, and it holds a charge very well.All in all a very good buy.
Efficient, handy and safe.
We already had one and I bought 2 for our daughters and families at Christmas, since they are so handy and efficient. Great for stairs, cars etc. So much safer on the stairs than cords, and no swivelling head, so cleans well. Our 5yr old grandson is very impressed with it, as are both families.
Brilliant piece of kit, ideal for the stairs and the car for picking up hair from our three big dogs.It is easy to handle and use and the tools are a great bonnus. After having the K9 vacuum cleaner I thought this could only be as good, it did not disappoint . I would recommend this product to others without a doubt.

Brilliant. Not sure how I have lived without it! Amazing for the stairs and very powerful sucktion. Comes with a few attachments as well and I also purchased the car kit as well which get to those hard to reach places. Well designed, made and thought out. Certainly recommend it and for the price it beats he Dyson hands dow
Swift delivery, well packaged, and easy to assemble. Charged relatively quickly, pleasing in appearance, and well satisfied with suction power. No shortage of accessories, and will replace a Dyson handheld whose battery charge expires too quickly and often pulsates instead of continuous operation. Price competitive.
Excellent vacuum cleaner. I admit I was dubious; but worries were to be unfounded. It was brilliant cleaning the stairs with no hassle of cord or balancing act. I used this to clean the car, and it was a dream. I was so impressed I have ordered the car kit. The battery life could do with being a bit longer; but I admit that I am very slow performing tasks. One thing that surprised me was the lack of ease emptying, as it was nothing like seen on the TV advertisement. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE GTEC MUILTI K9.
I just love this little vacuum cleaner and would highly recommend it. Prior to buying the Gtech I used a Dyson cordless cleaner which I can honestly say is no comparison. This little beauty has great suction, is easy to use and takes care of hairs dropped by my 6 indoor cats without any problem whatsoever. I already had the Gtech air ram so was already a fan. The K9 definitely lived up to my expectations.
