Wanted a Henry for my workshop so chose the extra model. I have had one in the past when working on property maintenance and it handled what ever I asked it to. Highly recommended and very happy with my purchase.

Great suction and great diversity in the different attachments. There’s a head for dusting, narrow edges and gaps and carpets. I’ve seen people say it’s heavy and clunky or that the suction is too strong. I find very easy to manoeuvre and if you’re on a carpet you can just flick the switch on the vacuum head. Definitely worth the money. I’ve had it a month now and the bag is barely half full. That’s about 6 bags a year so pretty inexpensive bag-wise.

I’m actually quite gobsmacked how well it performs!
I was apprehensive about updating my old Henry Extra due to the new difference in reduced wattage. I needn’t have worried as this new updated model is a massive improvement over my old one.

This model is lighter due to the smaller motor but has more suction! Henry is lifting my carpets as I vacuum.
It also comes with three different floor cleaning heads, and they all fit really well. The standard head is narrower than older models, but has a wider lint picker and a rubber blade. The hard floor tool is really good, wider and efficiently easy to use. I don’t have pets but wanted the airflow head. My old airflow used to fall off quiet a lot, this one doesn’t.
I have got all accessories fitted on the 2 slots at the rear either side of the parking grip for the tubes, another updated feature!

For anyone who has doubts about upgrading to this newer Henry Extra model – don’t – you won’t regret it.

Love the little sound it makes as you move it around. I think it’s much better than the previous models I have had and have always loved Henrys Hoovers.

Very good product. I’m very impressed by the strong suction of this vacuum and its capacity. It’s also provided several brushes for different purposes. Besides, it has a very long cable which is perfect.

A little on the heavy side but managable. Brilliant for tall people, but extension pole can be shortened too. Wonderful cable length, great suction for finer particles and dog hair.

I will never buy another Dyson agian 🙂

All I needed was a workshop vac to pick up dust from jobs and to stop my wife complaining that my DIY was clogging up the filter on her (expensive) bagless vac.
What I got (for less than half the price of the ‘premium’ item was a quieter vac, easy to pull around, plenty of power cord, a good length of hose and enough ‘suck’ to get every scrap of dirt. Plenty of tools come with the unit. My one small complaint is that there is a small piece of pipe that has to be used when connecting tools but honestly, it is not a major issue. I honestly love this thing. I really delivers. Recommend 100%

I’ve had a few expensive Dyson hoovers which never really lived up to the hype, emptying was messy and they seemed to lose power and suction. This Henry is so much better, more suction, all the attachments work, the flex winds up quickly and easily and I haven’t had to change the bag yet even though it’s been used in a 6 bedroom house for a couple of weeks. If you need a Hoover, just buy a Henry is my advice!

Well it took a while for us to get on the Henry train but I could face trialling something new like a Shark or buying another Dyson! We ended up using one round a friends house (who has dogs) and glad we did. I now see why Henry & Co. are loved by many.

    I need a new Hoover
And I’ve always fancied a Henry
    And now I’ve got one
I am glad I’ve picked it
No job is too small for Henry or too big
All the tools you get with Henry is all you need

I bought another pack of the tools
    For any DIY jobs
These are some of the jobs I do with Henry
    The little round one
    All my dusting
    Do my extractor fans
And the other fans I have in the house for cooling down
Do my windows inside where the window shorts in my conservatory
Do the walls get all the cobwebs
And a small wide one does all your upholstery
    I’m blinds
And a large wide one are use for my wet room
I have also got a tool that cleans your computer
But you can do this in a small round one as well
So when you got a cleanup job
Go straight to Henry it’s all you need

I’ve had Dyson, it broke years ago and now they are stupidly expensive. I’ve had Miele, it lasted well but was awkward and heavy and noisy, and they don’t seem to rank as highly as they used too.

So I got the Henry XTra, glad I did.

Sucks like a sucking thing is supposed to, quiet, moves around well, and has loads of decent attachments. I love the aerobrush in my carpets.

A bit heavy, but has a decent handle to pick him up.

I’ve stuck a deodoriser in the bag and everything is super.

The mains lead is also crazy long. Awesome.

Nice and simple to use hoover, nice big dust bag, lots of useful tools, cleaned my carpets and hardwood floors well. Henry moves well on his sturdy wheels. I have dogs, cat and parrot and this hoover sucked up all their mess with ease! Long cable is handy, as I can do all rooms from a central socket..

Would have given 5 stars though only ONE extra bag. Watched review prior to purchase on YouTube and unboxing video showed 5 spare! I do like this vacuum though as best I’ve had for picking up and with the extra long lead I only need to plug in once in my extended bungalow.

Like all households, everyone wanted a Dyson but lately the prices are too much. Henry is super, the suction power is amazing, came with few filter options and extra bag. As the shape is round, it is easy to maneuver. To be honest it is a bit heavier than other products but not by much that it becomes an issue. Also a bit on noisy side, again all are noisy when used so I will still give them that. I am overall satisfied with my purchase and will see it through for 1-2 years to see the performance.

after using a cordless hoover for a while, and feel that it was more spreading the dust around the house than hoovering, and being forced to clean and wash thas small filter that comes with…

I decided to purchase the hoover, it cleaned every single fend and space between the hard floor wood we had is doesn’t scratch the floor, and the pet brush, well it is the only one we actually use. we have a cat, so when she is shading this hoover definitely does a great job, I haven’t changed the bag of it since I bought so it definitely holds a large capacity of dust etc, the wire is long enough for a medium house, we are even able to hoover the car with it getting the wire out from the window.

it worth the price, this will be the forever home hoover, that will never need a repair.

only negative point: it is big! and a bit heavy to go on the stairs with it. it has many parts, it is hard to keep it easy to reach an in an organized space, I don’t really find any wardrobe that is large enough to store and hide it.
if I want it out of the way I need to hide it in the shed or in a closet, or just leave it under the stairs, but people will see it.

Henry is a really versatile vacuum cleaner which is a lot more powerful than all the bagless vacuum cleaners we’ve used over the years. The bags hold a massive amount and should rarely need to be changed. Really glad we bought it!

Was sceptical about buying Henry and going back to bags as prior to this had a Dyson, but I have been thoroughly impressed. Suction is great, it’s lightweight enough and it’s a better all round vacuum and easier to use than my dyson was. Glad I brought the Xtra version as well.

Largely, for cleaning my garage and shed as I am into DIY. Also for picking up animal hair from my pet cat.

It is easy to use, very effective in picking up dust and dirt. The cable is of a good length and the re-wind very effective and useful.

Could have got it cheaper elsewhere had I realised that VAT was added to the price quoted.

We already had a Dyson upright but it kept getting clogged, it doesn’t like debris that’s a bit big. After using a Henry cleaning up after decorating, so dust, small chunks of plaster etc. I was impressed with how it just kept sucking and with no complaints. I used the open ended tube on the hose to do the big stuff.
The Henry’s design is simple, sick it up along the large tube straight into the bag. No complicated twists and turns, down the tube in the bag.
I’ve used the Aero brush, it’s got excellent suction, and the brushes do a good job with sweeping things into the head.
Downside is that it doesn’t quite reach up the stairs. It isn’t heavy but it does weigh just a little less than my Dyson.
    It is fairly manoueverable.
No regrets at all buying it.
Make sure you but Henry bags not a cheaper alternative and do not re-use the bags.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike: Lightweight. Good suction cleaner, good with hair, easy for under beds, long handle rod and pipe. User friendly…no design buttons. Comes with a bag. Good on multiple surfaces. Different head fittings. Cleaner than a non bagless.
Dislike: Coordinating stairs could be tricky but the pipe is long. Not cordless so some manoeuvres are needed. Bulkier for storage…won’t slot into narrow space easily.
Summary. Hoovered successfully in half the time with half the effort. Rearranged a few things to accommodate storage and the tugging aspects.

I ordered this Henry from the Amazon Warehouse listed as Used -Acceptable. May have large cosmetic damage to tip, front or sides, packaging will be damaged. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Hoover or the tool accessories, all.perfect condition. The box just had previous tape marks where it had previously been opened. I saved 25 on this item by buying from the warehouse. Don’t worry about the descriptions as 99% of the time the items are perfect and if they are not and they are bad you can always return them. Really pleased I took the chance.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove the Henry, we have one still going strong, that is about 8 years old, but lost attachments and couldn’t get replacements as too old, also found heavy and fancied an upright hoover, so I changed to a vax and 2 have blown up on me over past few years.
When second vax blew up, that was enough for me!! Just ordered new Henry and wow! New version much lighter, really powerful and cleaned the dog hair up with no effort at all. I will stick with the Henry from now on, brilliant hoover, so easy to use and clean, perfect for a busy household with 2 dogs, and now I have my spare Henry for cleaning the car!.

I like the fact it has bags as excellent for allergy sufferers. The Henry bags are a reasonable price and take ages to fill, they are very well made and substantial. Excellent mobility, brilliant for doing the stairs and reaching up to the ceiling, into corners and edges. Attachments are brilliant- one for delicate materials, the Henry Extra is a good buy as it includes extra tools including the powerful airobrush. Can’t fault it. Elderly might find Henry Extra too heavy to lift although the wheels do give good mobility on the flat. Henry Extra has a very long lead so no problems with doing a wide area and the stairs without having to move the plug. Manual rewind. Best vacuum cleaner I have ever had and I have spent a lot of money on expensive brands in my time! Can do carpets or hard floors. Really shifts the dust and dirt and cobwebs. Solid construction.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWOW … Now that’s what I call a vacuum cleaner. I’ve had cordless and bagless vacuum cleaners previously, everyone seems to be using bagless and I honestly thought they were the best option. How wrong I was, from now on I will only need Henry, I had forgotten how good it is to have all the dust & grime safely in a bag. No more emtying a cylinder and accidently dropping it, spreading the contents everywhere. Henry Xtra comes with a spare bag and every tool you need for cleaning, the AiroBrush takes carpet cleaning to the next level, actively lifting stubborn dust, dirt and hairs from the carpet. The Henry is just as described. It has lovely suction and one feels that it is doing a fabulous job in sucking up the dust. Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMy much loved cordless Shark has broken down and there is no means of fixing it during this lockdown. Needed a good, but inexpensive hoover in the meantime and after some research, opted for the Henry Xtra. I am very impressed. Really decent amount of power and the Airo brush attachment is terrific at getting up dog hair and fluff. I also like the other attachment for hardwood floors which takes dust and grit from the floor with no trouble at all. The hoover has a long power cord which is very useful – we have a small cottage and I can reach all downstairs rooms without having to unplug and plug in somewhere else. It’s not the easiest to manoeuvre around corners however, but not too heavy to pick up momentarily and move. It’s not so good for stairs as it’s a large hoover (so doesn’t sit on a stair) and is heavy to carry up, whilst trying to hoover at the same time. Have found with using the long tube attachments, I can manage half the stairs from the hall and the other half from the landing upstairs. For me, this is the only drawback, otherwise, as said, I’m very impressed with it.

We are a small community cafe and so needed a vacuum cleaner which was light and manoeuvrable for our volunteers to use, but powerful enough to clean a mixed carpet/hard floor after it had been trampled by muddy feet. After much research, we purchased a Henry Xtra, and are very pleased with it. it cleans all areas very well, is relatively quiet , and has a very long 10m cable. We would definitely recommend this vacuum cleaner.

After buying four vacuums in the last 3 years I was getting a bit peed off with the money I’ve wasted on poor hoovers (including a Shark, which was useless). You get good suction all the time and never gets blocked up with all the dogs hairs unlike my last vac (shark) which just got clogged up every time I used it. Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe bought this Henry to replace an old Henry. In the meantime, our lovely neighbour let us use their brand new Shark DuoClean for pets. There is no comparison. Henry is lighter, has monumentally better suction, is better suited to a house with stairs, has a MUCH longer cord (What’s the point of a cord that only has the reach of one room?), and IT PICKS UP HAIR! The amount of hair left by the Shark was shocking. The bristles on the Henry attachments dig into the carpet, gathering up any manner of hair or those never-say-die black, sock bits. I LOVE HENRY!

The suction is so powerful it actually lifts up my carpets although they are fairly cheap and need replacing. It can be slightly difficult to manoeuvre Henry around corners as he tends to get stuck but honestly he doesn’t weigh that much and the carry handle seems very robust. Cable is also nice and long – I live in a small terrace house and can service most of it without unplugging. Just very good value for money overall.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this because we are having building work done. It is coping well and doing a good job, I am glad I bought it. My only problem was removing the first cleaning head I used; it seemed permanently stuck! I finally got one of the strongest builders to prize it off, and have put some Vaseline inside each of the joining pipes, a lot easier to change heads now.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLife saver. I avoided this for many years in favour of lightness and maneouvrability, but a baby spider infestation meant I had to buy this one. Not only does it take care of that problem easily without needing to get close or flush tissues, it securely stores the insects in a sealed bag that means nothing to fear when time to change it. It’s a hassle plugging it in and moving it about, but worth it. The suction is also better, although it is not clear which attachments are meant for basic carpets, so it feels “wrong” when using it. Does the job, however.

I have lots of fancy vacuum cleaners – Dyson, Shark, Vax etc. but this is the first one I am at last happy with. Powerful suction and doesn’t keep bunging up and having to extract blockage. Old style appears to be the winner.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFed up of lightweight vacuum tools delivering lightweight performance. This is a real workhorse. Any surface, seemingly any amount of dust/debris is just business as usual for Henry! Not the easiest to drag around but surprisingly quiet and so simple to empty and fit new bag. This is the right tool for the job. Great purchase.

For years I’ve looked for the perfect hoover and finally it’s here. Can’t say how happy I am, it picks up human hair and dog hair so easily. The suction is so strong. Bags so easy to change. Have read the handle extension comes apart easy, this is true however I just change the way I’m holding it which helps keep it together, no effort really.
Love it and real happy, great value too

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen our 2400W Vax blew up, I was apprehensive about replacing it with such a much less powerful device. Less powerful electrically, that is, because this unit has incredible suction power – far better than that 2400W model mentioned. It is quiet in use, has a nice long hose and the bags last for ages. I don’t understand how they have done it, but the suction power of this machine has to be witnessed to be believed. It has no frills or fancy features, so not many things to go wrong, and it has the simple manual wind-in power cable which works perfectly.

    An excellent buy.

I have spent a small fortune on cordless vacuums, GTech etc and compared to the Henry they are rubbish. In fact it is so powerful I do have a bit of a struggle to push it around. Then, I am in my early 70s and not very strong. The delivery was very quick and there are lots of attachments. The bags are big too. Really pleased with this and would be happy to recommend the supplier.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThought about getting one of these for years but not sure re weight and having bags. But a number of not that great buys since decided to give a go and it really does pick up well and with plenty of attachments to cover all floor areas. I am happy with my purchase.

Absolutely fantastic! I love it! You get 3 types of different heads for the pipe plus extra’s for sofa’s etc, the suction on the hoover is amazing! You also get 2 bags with this and after cleaning a living room, staires and 3 bedrooms it had hardly filled up the bag at all, so the bags will last a fair few weeks (dependant on how much you hoover your house/ if you have pets etc) before it needs changing. I think this hoover is easy to move around for a younger person but perhaps if you are older aged it may be more of a struggle. I can’t fault this hoover and I am a very happy customer!

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersMy old vacuum was a Hoover and was 2300 watts. My new one, a Henry, has ‘just’ 620 watts. Guess which has several times the suction of the other?

Henry is incredibly powerful. Don’t be put off by the relatively low wattage. It’s suction that counts.

Like many Londoners I’ve been plagued with carpet moths. Henry’s the guy to suck up the eggs and larvae.

Absolutely delighted with him and would never go back to any other make.

Golden Review Award: 59 From Our UsersI have been using a henry in the workshop for a couple of years. It sucks up swarf, sawdust offcuts of metal and wood. I was amazed when I decided to replace the bag to find it absolutely stuffed solid and yet I had detected no loss of power when cleaning up the workshop. Ironically, I was using it to clean the filter on the Vax I used at home. The reason I persisted with the bagless cleaner was the beater bar for cleaning carpets. Emptying a bagless cleaner, then trying to clean the filter element was a horrible job. When I saw Numatic sells a Henry with a beater head attachment I bought it for home use. A quick test shows the Henry power head removes dirt that the other cleaner failed to remove

I am so happy I’ve got a Henry back, I got rid of mine coz his nose got blocked. Nothing really wrong to be honest after 17 years. So after purchasing a couple of famous hoovers that I won’t name, that have lasted only 3 years. I have come back to a faithful friend. He hasn’t changed much over the years. I absolutely love Henry. Lots of extras with this one. Henry hoovers are the best. Whatever they say they do. Simply spectacular for clean floors and furniture. Don’t waste your money on any other hoover. Believe me it’s Henry or Henrietta every time.

Golden Review Award: 73 From Our UsersExcellent vacuum, comes with good array of attachments and long electrical flex which stores on Henry bodily and the hose is decent length when doing stairs etc.
My only slight criticism is, some people might it a little bit on the heavy side when carrying up stairs, but does have robust carry handle, but all in all a very worthwhile purchase, in my opinion it is better than Vax,Dyson or Gtech, Henry is great.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersQuick review this one will stick to the point. It has one hell of a suction ( like a high class call girl). Though its not the most mobile thing ( bit like the Mrs) and even though the airo brush is a good addition it don’t half whine ( like the Mrs when finds out spent all money on high class call girls)

Superb vacuum! I bought this vacuum as I could never find anything that would deal effectively with the dust and fur created by our two cats. So many well known brands don’t seem to pick up with much force. I was reluctant to buy a cleaner that needs bags, but have found the power of this machine to be excellent. Plenty of tools too. Bags last ages, and nice and quiet for its power.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMr Henry really is the last word in carpet sucking power. Other vacuums may be more powerful but Henry does the job just as well and at a lower power consumption so you are saving both money and the environment.

There are various attachments that add functionality but there is very little that Henry can’t do in it’s basic configuration.

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersOrdered and extra 10 bags at the same time, not knowing that one is fitted and you get extra 3 spare. And Comes with 3 floor attachments. The red airo brush is brilliant. Bought this vacuum after trying one for a week while away. This vacuum is to replace a working Dyson uprigh, but this has so much more suction than the Dyson and better priced. The suction on this is now lifting the carpet up. This model only has the on/off switch and is 620 watts. I got this model because I have a dog and wanted the airo brush. The face also detatches, if you just want a red vacuum. No green symbol to the right of extra on this one, and comes with all attachments in the attached pic.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter many years of Dyson and my husband nagging that we should get a Henry I am now a full convert. Henry glides around smoothly behind me, never goosing me like the other one did, no hot breath on me, large bag means less frequent emptying, good power and suction. I can pick him up easily, power cable is long, attachments great, especially the aero brush for the rugs. I can’t comment on stairs as we have none.
For the price and comfort of use I’ll never go back.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersAlways had Dyson vacs so thought we’d have a change. It is reasonably efficient but not as easy to handle as an upright. The tube is forever coming off the brush head which annoys me. As we live in a bungalow it trundles around but don’t know how easy it would be to use on stairs. I like the large dust bag which should make emptying the vac simpler.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI was looking for something new, as I’ve had Dyson hoovers for many years. The Henry is ok and really practical, it’s just a pain to pull around and regularly falls over. The hose comes apart really easily too and I find that am always having to put it back together. The performance is excellent though. It picks up extremely well and has a very long cable. All in all a great hoover, just heavy and not the easiest to pull along. Would be better if the hose clipped together.

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersAbsolutely amazing! Sounds sad, but I’ve never really found a vacuum cleaner that does what it says it’s going to do. The suction never lived up to expectations and with two pets and a builder for a husband, its something I couldn’t really do without. Would highly recommend this vacuum and this service provider!! Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter hearing so many good things about the Henry Xtra I decided to finally give up with my frustrating Vax and take the plunge! I am certainly not disappointed! It cleans my carpets and rugs very well when using the Airo Brush, leaving no remaining hairs or fluff like my previous vacuum cleaners used to. Added to that improved cleaning ability, it’s uses nearly a quarter of the power of my old Vax, which makes it fantastically efficient too! The bag system means you don’t get the reduced suction that you would when using a cleaner with a filter before the cylinder and they’re easy to dispose of and replace once full. Most definitely recommended!! Oh, and it’s quite cute too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHenry is brilliant! the old vacuum could only cope with about a third of a room before it overheated and gave up so I decided it had to go. Previous incumbents couldn’t cope at all with the hall carpet due to a very tightly woven pile. sadly this same pile clung on to very piece of dust and fluff as though it’s life depended on it. Henry soon took care of that! it’s actually clean for the first time in years. Wouldn’t swap him for cordless fancy-pants vacuum based on that alone but he has a ridiculously long cord, so he may as well be a cordless really
