Love this game - crowd please
This game is very easy to follow and is great fun and gets you thinking and is an ice breaker in groups of people! Only thing I’d say it is quite pricey as there isn’t a huge amount of equipment needed and you need to remember to bring your own pens or pencils! But took it on holiday and it was thoroughly enjoyed by us all!

We love Chameleon! Have played it with family and friends a lot over the last few months and everyone seems to love it! Really simple to pick up but with a lot of subtlety involved as well. Highly recommended for games nights with a few drinks!
Love this game!
I bought this after playing it with a group of friends. Really good game and we played for hours! Can be challenging sometimes as you’re put on the spot but it’s great fun. More so if alcohol is involved!!
Fun and easy
Smaller kids struggle with remembering not to say ‘the word’ but is aimed at older kids. It’s easy and fun and takes no time to set up. No need to keep score if just want to play for fun! Good buy.

Bought this a while ago but due to lockdown haven’t been able to try it out so played for the first time this evening, between 6 of us, including a 73 year old and 8 year old (and a 4 year joining in with some questions). Really good fun and the vast majority of questions were fine for all ages, including children. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely brilliant game. Very simple, can be played by anyone young or old, and generates so many laughs. Cannot recommend highly enough – great entertainment value.
The basic principle is that each round you have a question or subject, such as ‘name a food you eat on Christmas Day’. Everyone writes their answer, then go round the table reading them out. If there is a ‘most popular’ answer, everyone who gave that answer gets a cow point. If there is a ‘least popular’ answer, that person gets the Pink Cow of Shame. They can continue to play and collect points but cannot win whilst they retain the pink cow. First to 8 cow points wins.

Fantastic game.
This is a great game. We always get a couple of new games at Christmas and Chameleon has been the biggest hit ever! Played constantly over holidays (easy to play over media apps if not together). The game is very easy to learn and doesn’t go on for ever. Easy for all age groups. Lots of fun and laughter guaranteed!
Great family fu
We played this at xmas and it was brilliant fun. It takes a few goes for everyone to get the hang of it but once you get going its easy.
This is a brilliant family game I have two children 7-9 and they both loved it, gets them practicing their writing and spelling at the same time without them Moaning. We sorted through cards and found age appropriate ones as some are for older children due to the types of question still child friendly but mine wouldn’t have a clue country’s begging with and capital city’s etc

Received this at Christmas and played 4/5 times since. Turns out to be a very easy game to play with the extended family on video calls also as only one person required to read out the questions and everyone else can answer.

Great game, we are a family of four and it’s fun with just us but found it more fun with more people. You might find across age groups that people don’t always get the references or that some people are really unsubtle and so the chameleon can guess it easily but that just makes it funnier. Refreshing game – it’s a keeper!

I was looking for a game we could play on zoom with family/ friends we can’t see due to covid. This is great, lots of fun and easy to play we’ve played with 5 and 8 people so far. Has been a very good conversation starter! All family friendly questions some maybe easier for adults or older kids like “naming the best queen song? or a celebrity with ginger hair?” but some would be fine for younger kids Questions like “What wild animal would be the coolest pet?” “How many times does the average person use the toilet in a day?” The object being to say the same as the herd!
A 2020 Christmas hi
Good game, quick and easy to learn and can be played by all ages (we had from 4 to 70yrs) it was enjoyed by everyone but I feel it’s a little pricey for what it is.
I absolutely love the concept of this game and gameplay is fun for any family event. However I cant give it 5 stars because the questions get “tired” very quickly. Four of us played it 5-6 times yesterday as it was such fun. But we have already got through half the questions. We experimented with shuffling and reusing questions as we wanted to keep a good quantity of new ones back for Christmas but it doesnt work as well as we had hoped it would. So bottom line is that this is a great game but doesnt keep fresh as long as it should do for the price. Please double the number of questions.

Now one of our family favourites, so much fun to play, we’ve actually had ours a few years but definitely worth getting.

My sis in law bought this game for us to paly while in the caravan when we went away for my nephew’s birthday in Oct my nephew is 10 my daughter 11 my sis in law myself and get partner all in our 30’s and her partner’s in there 60s had a great time playing it the kids especially loved the part that said if a player was taking too long to take there turn the other players could moo at them after playing this on holiday I ordered one for us to play at home
Takes only minutes to learn, easy to play but great fun. The age range says 10+ but i found my youngest grandson who is only just 9 can easily play. You have to write your answers down, but as I explained to him, it didn’t matter if he couldn’t spell the words only he had to read his answer! We have also played with just 3, it says 4 plus, this changes the game a little as the pink cow passes from player to player more often, but that didn’t seem to detract from the fun value. Only 1 downside, we could have done with double the amount of cards as we soon got through them. Easy enough to come up with your own questions though. I would throughly recommend this game for assorted ages at a party!

Flipping hilarious game that you can play with loads of people. We’ve only playing it with four people so far. But looking forward to playing it as a big group as I can imagine it being a little harder to all think the same. Good laugh!

The most fun we’ve had in ages. Planned to play for about half an hour and two hours later we were still going. Eleven players, loads of laughs….. I thoroughly recommend this game for family and friends of all ages and I’m sure we will be playing It again when we meet up at Christmas.

The game is nicely designed. Simple rules to follow. A good laugh and makes you think about what others are thinking, know your audience. Will eventually benefit from more questions in an add on but you can make up your own. Only down sides, No free pencils and paper could have been double sided but easy use your own paper.
This is a great game that we ordered for us to play while away camping. All 6 of us loved it (2 adults and 4 kids).
The packaging says 10plus but our 8 and 9 year old were both able to play and we just skipped any cards that they didn’t understand without it affecting anything.
Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a fun family game to play!
Love this game! Simple game but incredibly clever. You don’t have to be clever to play but it makes you think about how other people think. Played with family, adults and teenagers. We found it funny and some answers were surprising. Would definitely recommend this game.
Portable fun!
A fabulous game! I’ve played this with several groups of people who have all enjoyed it! Simple but results in ludicrous behaviour and a farmyard of mates. Everyone found it hilarious and lovely to find out more about others!!! Best moments are when people think of something bizarre and get the pink cow! Definitely would recommend! X

A great game that’s fun for all the family. We managed to get through all the questions provided over the course of 2 evenings but we continued to play by making up our own questions, which was just as much fun.
This is another fantastic game by Big Potato.
It is perfect for all the family, we played with 7 people with ages ranging between 15 and 77. The game is very easy to pick up and start playing straight away with no complicated rules at all. Just answer the question with what you think everyone else will say, and if you are slow at thinking of an answer you will get “Mooed” at by all of the other players.
A lot of the questions prompted some hilarious answers, especially the one which asked “Where would you put an extra eye” Most of us said on the back of your head. My sister thought her bottom would be a good place!
The added bonus of the game is that you could easily play this over a socially distant zoom call.
Great game, our friends bought one themselves after playing with us! It’s especially fun as it takes a few rounds to suss out how the “herd” is going to answer and after than you see lots of very funny and frustrating strategic plays developing! Really great party or family game as it’s about the dynamics of the group rather than the actual content of the game – although that’s pretty on point!

Really fun and simple to play. You’ll learn things about your friends and family playing this game. 1 tiny wish would be more question cards as we went through them very quickly – but we were playing for a couple of hours.

We played with a group of six aged between 20-55. It was super easy to understand and get into, and provided endless entertainment. We completely lost track of time and ended up playing it for hours.
As there’s so many questions provided it’s definitely one that I’ll be playing time after time, as with every group you play it with you’d get different results.

I received this as a birthday present and have already played with two different groups. The rules can be explained in under 2 mins – handy when you have kids as well as attention-challenged grandparents.
With the second group we played over Zoom which also worked really well.

We have played a LOT of games over the past few months and this has become one of our firm favourites. It has been enjoyed by many different combinations of family and friends from teenagers to grandparents. It’s the perfect combination of easy to grasp but endlessly entertaining. The best bit for us? Shouting ‘MOOO!!’ at the top of your voice to hurry up the slow coaches…
Played this game with family, ages ranged from 24-67, but can be played with younger ages as well. Everyone had to so much fun and all agreed they haven’t laughed like we did in so long!
The game is easy for everyone to pick up and enjoy, all the questions allowed for hilarious responses. This game would be great for any social situation and can easily be played with social distancing in mind.
I would 100% recommend this as an addition to everyones game collection.
5 of us played this game at a socially distanced birthday games night, we ranged in ages from 28-67 but it’s perfect for all ages!
It was really quick and easy to set up, and was simple to pick up (which was handy after a few drinks). The whole group really loved the the design, particularly the packaging!!! We had a great time playing with the big laughs coming from hearing the rest of the groups answers. It’s a great ice breaker game too!
This game would be a great one to play at any social gathering. It’s also worth noting that it can very easily be played socially distant too, which isn’t always the case for lots of games so handy during these times!

Fun game on boxing Day. Turns all family members into loud, annoying barristers (incl myself) but did cause a few laughs.
Not sure this will be a lasting game for us, but time will tell. Value for money not great for essentially a card game but I paid Xmas prices…I imagine itll settle to a reasonable price for people to have fun with it.

Great game. Takes a bit to get your head around how it works deciphering codes and looks complicated at first glance but it is actually easy enough. Our 11 year old loves it. Good selection of topics. Easier with more people.
Brilliant family game
Fantastic game, Santa bought it for the family and it was a great hit with everyone. I really liked how all ages could join in, we had three generations playing all having a great time. It’s a very easy game to get to grips with. The youngest player was 8 the oldest 73 both had a blast!
Different type of board game
Brilliant game and a bit different to other games as it’s all about judgement and challenging others and an element of bluffing too. Quite pricey but worth it.
Great to play something different and unusual!
This is an unusual and different game and that’s why I love it. My family were a bit split on it though, a bit like marmite! It took us a little while to get the hang of it but I think that’s because one of us hasn’t read the instructions carefully enough! Easy to play and great for bringing people together. It could be played by teenagers too so good for getting everyone involved. I think the more u play the better it would get!

At first look the instructions seemed complicated but once you start playing it’s actually very simple. We laughed until we cried and played for hours. I’d definitely recommend this game.

They also love games like skyjo, bananagrams, dixit, monopoly deal, dobble ,you’ve got crabs, exploding kittens and more ,(fast short games). I have loads of games but the ones mentioned are deffo the non regret games.

we bought this on a recommendation and we were not disappointed! this was taken with us for a weekend away with a group of friends…once we got in the swing of the game it was completely addictive! absolutely hilarious, hard to stop doing more rounds, I’m pretty sure everyone who played will be buying their own set. 100% recommended for a fun filled night with friends.

Cracking game. We’d seen a few games on a YouTube channel and thought it looked fun. Not disappointed with the purchase. Easy to learn, quite challenging to play (unless you’re an evil genius). We love it. Would highly recommend and will be bringing it with us everywhere to introduce new people to it. 🙂

Saw a Youtuber play this and knew I had to get it. It’s similar to the game Codenames, and is very easy to learn. My only complaint would be that the sticker to seal the box together was too sticky and I damaged my box a little bit trying to get it off.
Great Quality Games from Big Potato
We love it and it has us in stitches playing with nana in her 70s and 15, 12 and 10 year old. Quick and easy games with lots of fast fun and not too much thinking or seriousness. 12 year old got a pile of Big Potato games for her birthday and loves them.

A bit different and very entertaining, tho I am rubbish at this and get found out every time! Suitable for a mix of ages and very funny, especially if people have had a little wine/are generally confused as it makes for a very difficult game to spot who is the chameleon. If you like family board games and are fed up with the usual then give this a go, it is our new favourite game. :0)
Great family game
I bought this for my niece this Christmas and we’ve all enjoyed playing it right through the new year. I especially like that the game comes with a blank “topic” board so players can come up with their own topics which gives the game virtually infinite replay-ability.
Excellent game - highly recommend
Simple to learn and lots of fun. As you play, you develop tactics and it gets more lively and interesting. Definitely one for family get-togethers with mixed ages. We played with a group from age 6 to 60+. You do really need 4 or more people to play so I don’t think we’ll get regular weekend use out of this with our small family, but it was enjoyed by all over Christmas.

Easy enough to play with no real snake type downside. Its a bit of a bluff if you go first and you get the Chameleon, as you get no clues from the other players, but a bit of a gamble and a nod and a wink and you might just get through.

Have played this a few times at dinner parties with groups of 4-6. Everyone really enjoyed it. It’s great to have a game where everyone is playing at the same time, rather than one person having a turn and everyone waiting.

Played for ages with my 13 and 15 yr old kids and we had a great time. I was a little unsure when I bought it but it is great. The wipe clean grid for your own suggestions was particularly enjoyed. If your looking for a family game for tech obsessed teens you have found it. I highly recommend it.

Good for older kids and adults
Bought this for Christmas with family. Once we got the hang of the card system, it was really fun and revealed the sneaky among us…people’s lying tactics had us in fits of laughter. I’ve also played this with kids aged between 8 and 12 and they loved it. They were better chameleons than the adults, really enjoying having a go at telling fibs! A really good game.

Great for groups
Brought this for my housemates birthday, a few days ago and we have already played it multiple times. As a group of students its great to have a game you can pick up and play a couple of quick rounds whenever you are free. We have found that a slightly larger group is preferable for playing as it makes it harder to guess the chameleon but it is still a lot of fun with the minimum numbers of players. Highly recommended for those who want a quick and relatively simple game to play.
Great fun that is suitable for the family
Excellent game, fun for all the family. If you have youn children (10ish), some cards may be more difficult for them to understand the words, but there is plenty that they can do, and plenty of life in one card alone. Cards can range from fairy tales, films and countries etc
Great family game
This is a brilliant family game. Simple concept which children can join in with but younger ones would really need to grasp the subterfuge involved in playing as or finding the chameleon to get involved. Our 8yo had no problems and loves the game.
The Game can easily be played with small groups of three or more, and even large groups of 16 if you paired up. The topics make for both funny and tense rounds every time with the words people choose, even if you don’t quite understand the game yet. Also the addition of a make your own topic card adds a great personal touch to the game making it adaptable to new topics outside of the ones you receive as part of the game
Brilliant game
I absolutely love this game and played it for the first time with 3 (30-something) friends. Great for weekday evenings with dinner and wine, and I think you could probably play it with teenagers too.

Nice game, very simple to learn but difficult to play well. the balance between giving a word that indicates you are not the chameleon and yet is broad enough not to give away the answer to the chameleon is the key to good play.
We found it much better with more players. When we played with 4 it was much easier to find the chameleon than when playing with 7.

When we read the instructions it seemed a bit complicated but as soon as we started playing, everything fell into place. Pretty cool game! We’ve only played it once so far but I’m sure we’ll be back for more.
Addictive! Once we got the hang of it, we kept playing again and again – its gets very competitive, highly recommend it!
