Bought this for my Grand-Son, who is a massive Hey Duggee fan, for his first birthday. We set it off so many times before we even got there (on purpose, might I add). It’s so much fun. You really can’t help but bounce along to the tune. It’s soft, it’s cute, it’s adorable. What’s not to love? … Oh the word ‘stick’, that you’ll wake up screaming in the middle of the night until the batteries run out? – A small price to pay for a child’s happiness… Especially if it’s not your child. The benefits of being a grand-parent 😉

The song is great and little ones with small hands will find it easy to hold. Disappointed that battery can’t be replaced.

I’m pretty sure I bought this more for me than my daughter as she’s not that into Hey Duggee yet at 21 months old. Whereas I am and can honestly say this stick is a really entertaining thing.

So I’m in the supermarket early one morning walking down the toy Isle looking for pokemon or five nights at Freddie toys and I came across this little gem. Curiosity got the better of me and I gave him a press to see what he would sound like, he’s got a wonderfully catchy tune and it certainly raised a smile and a chuckle so in the trolley he went, I’ve done nothing but play with him since be came home. He’s an early 50th birthday present for myself lol

I bought this as a gift for my friends little boy who is non verbal , after he had an accident at school and ended up in hospital. He loved it, and insisted on taking it everywhere with him, trying his best to sing along. Although he thought it was amazing his lovely Mummies didnt and they had to resist the temptation of shoving “Sticky stick stick” down my throat!
It’s that good that several of my friends have purchased one for their friends kids as revenge for buying noisy toys when their own kids were little!
The only downside to the toy is the “ear worm” that comes complimentary – it usually appears at 3am when you’re due in work for 7. However, this can be dealt with by singing “Happy birthday” repeatedly in your own head!
It’s a great toy that will make everyone smile for about 5 minutes!

We have an 18 month old who is Duggee mad and loved the stick song so we gave it a try and she can’t get enough of it. We have to hide it sometimes so we don’t go insane and this stick song has been stuck in my head for weeks now. The noise of the van indicator is the exact same beat as the stick song so it haunts me. We love it though.

Fun little toy for the younger kids who like Hey Duggie, the first one arrived and had to be sent back as the battery was dead..they are built in..but the second one gets pushed lots and the sound of stick stick stick stick sticky sticky stick stick at 5 o’clock in the morning is always a wonderful suprise to the beat of some Glaswegian techno…great buy

Great product! My son loves it, and its a clear song too. The only downside is that the batteries cannot be replaced, but its been played on repeat for a solid week and is still going 2 months later. It’ll still make a lovely toy when the battery goes.

The product as a whole is ok.
I ordered this and it came next day and was excited to give it to my son for his birthday. The first one I received just flat out did not work. The second one I received did work as the video however sometimes it just stops and I don’t know if this is apart of the product? No real information about this on the box. I can understand why the first one didn’t work as it can be set off very easily. Therefore my conclusion is if your child likes the stick song they will love this but if you have an inward hatred for this don’t get it as it may drive you around the bend…

My son has been singing this song for so long! I tired to find this product ages ago and its finally here. He loves this so so much and the sounds are the same as the show! The toy is not small and bigger then I expected it to be. Its loud enough to hear well but not too much! Its pressed repeatedly and is quite catchy we all sing along!!

I am so old and out of touch; I am completely baffled by a ‘cuddly’ stick… for 14!? Anyway, the niece and nephew thought it was marvellous, and that’s what counts.

Giving this to my nephew for Christmas. It sings at the least movement. I’m sure it drove the delivery guy crazy in his van! We could here it at the door before the guy knocked. The nephew will love it though. It’s soft and very cute.

This was a lot softer than I was expecting (which is actually a good thing) and the soundbyte of the song is really good.
However, the speaker is sealed within the item. There’s no way of getting to it unless you cut across the stitches in the seams. I’m not sure that if you did get to the sound module that you’d be able to get at the batteries. So for most people this will only be of use until the batteries run dry.
Once they stop working I’ll return to let you know how easy it was to get at the sound unit and whether it was possible to replace the batteries or if it’s a sealed unit.

Brilliant product. Bought for our grandson as he is a huge Hey Duggee fan and this was one of the toys he didn’t already have. The song is easy to remember and it has a catchy backing dance tune. There is a push to activate switch to start off the tune and if pressed again the song stops playing, useful as the tune drives my wife up the wall because I have played it numerous times. Our grandson loves it and so do I.

No way to change the battery
Singing Sticky stick is fantastic and is a big hit. However, it’s a bit disappointing that there is no battery compartment and the battery is sewn into the body of the toy. When the battery runs out I am going to have one very disappointed little boy

We love stick! 10m old loves being able to whack/lean on or squeeze it & it turn on/off. it can be turned off if press it by accident tidying up -always a bonus! My only concern is how long the battery will last as it’s not replaceable (hence 4 stars not 5!)

A must for any Duggee Fan , Sticky stick is well made and a great size. The song is loud and clear. My only concern is when the batteries run down they are not replaceable 🙁 My Grandson absolutely loves this.

My daughter has been obsessed with the stick badge episode, and absolutely loves this.
Soft, with a talking device in it’s belly that sings the stick song.
This is cute, a good size and seems to be well made. My little boy (almost 2) was a bit bemused by it to start with, but keeps bringing it to me to activate it now. It is easy for a child to activate themselves, you just press the tummy, he just prefers that I do it. It is quite loud, but you can also deactivate it in the same way as activation, which is good, as with most talking toys you just have to wait for them to finish. My only negative is that the main body could be made of a softer material like the eyes and leaf are, but this is just personal preference. When activated it just has one mode, it clears its throat and then sings the stick song along to the music and stops with the sound of the stick hitting the floor, like on the show. But as the character doesn’t say anything except “stick” on the show, then I wouldn’t expect more dialogue for the toy.
The price is a little below average for a character toy, so I would say good value and – as I pre ordered it – arrived well packaged on the day of release.
As with most talking toys the device is stitched inside, so once the batteries run out there is no way to replace them.
All round I am pleased with my purchase, knowing it will bring my Hey Duggee fan son hours of fun.

Simply awesome! The ‘Stick Badge’ is my two year old’s favourite Duggee episode and I’m not ashamed to admit, it’s mine too. Stick and his extremely catchy song are clearly the reason why. This toy replicates that perfectly.

Just been delivered. My little man adores his Stick! It’s the best bedtime toy ever apparently. The sound quality is good, looks great. Material might snag though. Took the tag off and there’s a tiny pull and hole which I’ve tried to rub out but can still see it. Doesn’t affect use. Little boy loves him. Husband was desperate for an off switch. You just press his tummy again. Should have bought two!
