Only qualm is that there is a bump on the blanket where the power enters the blanket. It is located right towards the edge of the bed towards the head end ( at level of arm pit probably, depending on your size) so not intrusive but is noticeable. I expect most blankets have some sort of bump for the electrical connection. It’s not a deal breaker by any means.
It was a great invetme
My flat had issues with the vent which I was fighting with my landlod for years and during winter days it would be freezing cold.
Decided to buy this Electric blanket as it came with 4 different controlable area. This allowd both myself and Mrs have individual temperature settings.
Having different control for body and feet is great as sometimes you have a cold feet which need warming up.
Used it for 2 full winters and still good.
Great electric blanke
Very pleased with this purchase. Like the fitted skirt that keeps the blanket in place. Controls easy to use and love the separate upper body and lower leg controls. Only criticism is that there is no power on light that can be seen in the dark.
it is very cosy and comfortable
I am very pleased with the blanket in the main and it is very cosy & comfortable in use. However, I did find the temperature control misleading. In the first instance I tried numbers 4 & 5 as it was suggested,but found little heat emanated from it, so I went to the default of 9 on both lines and it is fine and warm. Hopefully in the bad weather it will still be lovely as it is now. Incidentally it was very easy to fit.

The Best Electric Blanket I Have Come Across
It is big enough and deep enough to to easily cover and stay in place on my super king mattress. It is superbly cosy and comfortable, and the wide range of heat and time settings allow my husband and me to choose the perfect setting for each of us individually. We have had it for two weeks and are very happy with it, long may it last!

Fantastic having separate foot temperature control
I absolutely love this feature of being able to have the foot temperature different from the main body. I always have cold feet so sometimes just have the foot area on. It heats up quickly. It fits very well on to our super king size bed with plenty of room for the fitted skirt to fit under the mattress.

DOES WHAT IT SHOULD
I paid quite a bit extra for this blanket because we’d had one before (gave it away when we got a bigger bed) and it did the job so well. It fits well and stays where it should. The controls give you flexibility but are not complicated to use. It’s also nice and comfortable and you don’t feel or see the controls.

Have had one of these electric blankets for many years, been very pleased with it, but having just bought larger bed, had to buy larger blanket to fit.
My only disappointment is that the new one does not have a light which shows when the blanket is on, so it would be possible to go to bed with it still on. Not a problem in itself, but it was useful to have a reminder to switch it off.
Excelent double heated blanket with split controls
I liked the foot/body control in addition to the split to give left and right hand sleeping positions. Good fit on the matress and very prompt delivery.
Lovely cosy blanke
Have had another of these (in a different size) so knew to expect a quality product. It’s pricey but I like the various functions; though I do tend to slam it up to 9 to heat up then turn it off for the night. It’s also very comfortable, I can’t feel any wires running through it. Highly recommend.
The blanket works fine, but it has an annoying couple of design faults with the twin controllers. Firstly, the buttons are really noisy and my wife, a light sleeper, gives me a hard time for waking her if I want to change temperature or switch off the blanket. Secondly, to go from level 2 to level 1, you have to press the buttons through 9 to get to 1. Thirdly and most annoyingly, the junction box inside the blanket which plugs into the controllers, is to the side and almost face height. This means that one’s elbows continually snag on it.
I would have given the product a maximum 5 stars had it not been for these faults. Whoever designed it has obviously never slept with it.
Flimsy mesh surrounding the blanket.
Loved everything except the mesh around the sides of the blanket. I was very careful and still put my finger through it as it is very flimsy. A very good product otherwise.

love it! Perfect to fit most THICK mattresses which is unusual. . Only gripe is fact that the light in the controls goes off even tho blanket still switched on so u can’t tell it’s actually on!! There is safety switch off on it I know but wee light would be advisable!! Apart from that this blanket is everything I would from that this item is PERFECT!!!!! would definitely recomend.

Best electric blanket we’ve ever bought.
The best electric blanket we have ever bought – it fits snugly on the mattress and does not move about due to the elasticated skirt. I particularly like the way you can have different heats for body and legs and the fleecy cover means that no wires are felt. Highly recommend.
We have had a homefront double blanket for years now and it has worked reliably and still does, this is for a guest room and it also looks to be of a similar standard. They are excellent as they can be put on a timer with different body and foot settings and can be timed to go off after you have fallen asleep. All this without the weight and inconvenience of an overblanket.
Great for winte
This blanket is a lot of money, however, when compared to what else is on the market the price is fair. Being a student this is a lot cheaper than turning the heating on through the night, I hardly notice a cost. Takes some time to warm up but gets very toastie when it gets going. Being able to control each side as well as body and feet independently is a big plus. The connectors to the blanket aren’t the smallest and at first, I was slightly put off, however, having slept on it every night for several months they have not bothered me at all.
Fabulous electric blanke
I bought this electric blanket because my new mattress is so deep that my old one didn’t fit. This one has a nice deep elasticated skirt and would fit any mattress. It is extremely cosy and you cannot feel the wires at all. It is the best electric blanket I have ever owned and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Comfortable and warm.
I love the fleece and the dual sided controls. I would prefer the junction box to be in a different place as there’s a lump on the side where it connects in. It just so happens to be exactly where I put my hand when I get into bed and also where my elbow used to go. I’ve adjusted my position but I feel it could be better. That said, I like it and wouldn’t change it based purely on that.
Beautifully comfortable and fits my bed perfectly, just doesn’t heat the bed as quickly as I’d expected, or get quite as warm as I’d like. I do realise I’m a very cold old lady.
Once the control is set there is no light to indicate the blanket is on.
This blanket fits our double bed very well. The elasticated curtain around the edges holds the blanket securely, so no rucking and the bed can be remade in the morning without having to resposition the blanket.The blanket heats up quickly and the only small problem has been working out how to set the controls. There are no instructions to cover the ten options sub divided into three sections viz body zone, temperature and time duration so a little thought is needed.
Confortable and Warm
This is perfect! The product fits a double bed and fits perfectly over the mattress – you can then add your normal mattress protector and sheet over the top. The great thing about the electric blanket is that itself it is quite thick and ‘fleecy’, so it has actually made our mattress even more comfortable to slept on! The other really great thing is the ability to have individual controls – so I can have my side of the bed one temperature and my partner another; and equally I can have heat on my feet and none on my body, or different temperatures for body and feet sections. The controls are really easy to use and the screen on each hand control (one for either side of the bed) allow you quickly and clearly select a temperature and whether you want the foot section or the body section to heat, or both, or none. Great product and worth the monty.
I had an older version of this blanket which worked fine for some years. However since i changed to a larger mattress the connections for the remotes were right under my back which caused pain. With the new one which matches the size of the mattress it is much better again. However, I would still prefer that the connection would be higher (next to head) to be even better. This new unit also seems to heat faster.
Very comfortable
This is a fantastic blanket. So soft and comfortable and fleecy, fits bed better than old ones.
Ease of use is good but would like not to hear the clicks when changing settings in the middle of the night
disturbing partner. Light goes off a bit quickly. Would like a small bulb to let you know blanket on you have to click
to see and then turn off. My husband turns it off when I fall asleep.
With all this it does not detract from the item , the best blanket for fitting and comfort. These points are more for manufacturer than bad review. Little ideas.!
Very good, extra deep side panels
Very pleased with this, controls seem a little complicated at first but quickly got used to them, also nice deep side skirt, we have a very deep mattress plus a topper but it tucks in easily, only used settings up to 5 so far but 4 -5 gives a nice background warmth, there’s obviously more heat to be used if needed. Overall totally satisfied
I absolutely love my new electric blanket. No more falling asleep and waking in an inferno…..phew.
You can set it up to heat all over or just your top half or bottom half. You can set how many hours you want it on for 1 hour to 9. It has 9 heat settings, I pop mine on between 2 or 3, just for an hour and this is perfect for me.
The blanket itself I would expect to fit a full single mattress, I have a king bed and drape it over the edge and it fits from the top to the bottom. It has an elastic mesh which would hold it down perfectly around a single. It’s definitely worth the money and glad I didn’t op for a cheaper version.
Good quality electric blanke
Brought this electric blanket due to the fact that it had dual controls and yes it is more expensive than other electric blankets that are on the market but it was well worth it. I got the double which fitted perfectly as it has a really deep elastic skirt which can be tucked under the mattress itself. The blanket is a lovely thick fleece like wool material so you don’t feel any wires/heating elements. The dual controls are easy to use and set for each side of the blanket for the individual’s perferances.Also there is a blue back light on the controls but this goes off within seconds . I think my only bug bear is that on the controls there is no memory feature so when you turn them off and back on you have to reset them all over again for the desired preferences
When I ordered this blanket, I did so to replace our existing one which was only working on my side….it didn’t bother me that much because I got extra cuddles, lol. Joking aside, I couldn’t see my wife suffer any longer and gave in (despite her turning down my offer of switching sides as she feels the cold more than I do), and bought this for us. It arrived quite quickly, and fits the super king size perfectly. The elasticated skirt can accommodate the thickest or mattresses, and the initial fitting and cable routing is a doddle.
Using the blanket is very easy. If you turn the heating off, using the on/off switch; it reverts back to maximum settings for 1 hour when turning back on.
The heating is quite rapid, and you’ll enjoy the heat fairly soon! If you go to bed frozen from standing in the kitchen with no shoes on for too long, you can put full heating on and end up turning it off after 10/15 minutes. It really is that effective! The heating increments are nicely spaced too, so in warmer nights you can set it to that perfect number.
As impressed as we both were, I was hesitant at writing a review so soon, as durability was a concern for me. I purchased this blanket March 20 and it has been in service every day since. I’m happy to report that the blanket has performed well, and we are struggling to come up with any negatives. The control is positioned perfectly, and we don’t notice the coils like other reviewers have mentioned. It really has been a Godsend on most days…even if it the setting is on 1(which just takes the chill off the sheets).
All in all were quite happy with the blanket. It’s been a joy, and I would definitely purchase this blanket again.

It’s been 4 years since we bought this super king size blanket. When we purchase this the price was 79.95, you have to remember that was 4 years ago. Pre covid. But if it was (todays price of) 95.95, then I would make this purchase again without hesitation as the reliability and quality is second to none. It’s about longevity, not price – four years of a near constant cycle and it’s still kept us warm in the harshest of cold days, but let’s just say it’s not about the quality, and it is about the price. Maybe your on a budget. Maybe the pennies do matter, well I would still make this purchase. I would find the extra whatever I needed, because of how well and how durable I know it works. Even at 95.95 for four years is less than 25 a year for absolutely amazing quality. So wether it’s price, practicality or the versatility of this unit, it would be the one I would buy.

I’ve had this for a couple of months and so far, so good. It works well, gives a decent and variable heat and has a timer element. Additionally, provides a separate choice for body and feet. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Am quite impressed at this stage.
It does the job.
We had a 5ft version of this and were quite happy with it, so got the 6ft version when we changed our bed. Only complaint is that the timer can’t be set for less than one hour. Individual controls allow for different settings on each side of the bed.

I just live this blanket, its perfect. Controls are amazing and on a timer, a must for me. Sometimes if i have trouble going off to sleep i put it on for an hour and im fast asleep. I have a deep mattress too and it fits that perfectly too. Its flexible at the sides for different depths of mattresses. I love it.. Highly recommended.

Pros – Easy to fit to the bed, controls are easy to use, fleece makes it comfortable to lie on and warm.
Cons – After a few seconds the lights on the controls go off, so there’s no visible indication that the blanket is switched on.
All in all an excellent buy. Much better than the Dreamland that we got rid of after less than 12 months.

Got this for my wife as I prefer to get in a cold bed & to warm up slowly with not having the fuss of having to fill a hot water bottle every night. Liked the fact you could set both sides of bed independently of heat settings, within days of using i now also love getting into an already warm bed which I never thought I would like. We both love this & will be using this all through the winter months with out any doubt.

Totally amazing, lovely fit to the mattress, controls are a joy to use and simple to operate. A switch on timer would have been a nice touch but at least it has a timer for the length of use . You cant feel the mattress heating elements through the sheet and the whole thing can be a furnace or just take the chill off the bed. This is a no brainer of a purchase…just buy one.

The elasticated skirt is a little flimsy, could be more substantial to hold the fleece better in position.
The multi position controllersworks well as do the split heated elements. As you can heat either side on the king size blanket it works well for two individuals, each person can select their own comfort level.
The timer works well so you can select how long the blanket stays on, nice touch.
Overall I’m very pleased with the operation and comfort of the heated blanket.
It warms up fairly quickly in about 5-10 minutes, and it has easy-to-use panel buttons to control the heating settings + timer. You do not feel the wires whilst sleeping, because they are well-positioned to be out of the way. It’s much better than using a hot water bottle. The only negative point is the bright blue light on the digital panel – it’s far too bright, and blue is not a good color to use at night, as it can affect sleeping rhythm. However, the light turns off quickly, but I feel they should have used a dim orange light instead of bright blue.
The blanket is great but one grouse, that it needs two plug points. As I sleep alone in a double bed this is a disadvamtage as I now have to sleep only on one side and would have preferred to sleep in the middle. Otherwise the fact that it fits the mattress well is a HUGE advantage compared with the problems that I have previously had with ties and blankets working out of place, Fleecy cover retains the warmth well.
We live in an old house that gets very cold in the winter months so this electric blanket has been absolutely priceless to us. I initially thought that it was a little pricey but now think it is worth every penny, because not only is the product great quality but the different settings for both sides is invaluable, naturally as my partner is a woman she has to have it on scorchio, whereas I have it on number 3-4 (out of 9), also love that there are different settings for the feet and body and a safety timer function.
Excellent product. Chose this one because the reviews for one in a well-known dept store said their blanket only had straps to keep it on the bed. This one has the full skirt – like a fitted sheet. It’s lovely and fluffy, and hasn’t lost that feeling in its first two months of constant use. I love the way you have a choice of 9 heat settings and the foot area has a separate control, so I always have that hotter! The reason why I only gave 4 stars is just that it doesn’t quite seem long enough. My feet often stretch out into a cold bit, but I’m 5′ 8″, and I know the manufacturers don’t like to risk them getting bent over the end of the bed.
This is the 2nd time for this blanket,had the previous for a few years so decided to replace. I worked shifts in the UK and for 40 years i have used electric blankets to keep me warm after night shifts,actually maybe lucky but i have never had any problem with any of the blankets and i have had quite a few, but this blanket is the best ever, a perfect fit over the mattress and besides being dual control the icing on the cake is being able to also control body and feet temps separate. I actually live in Cyprus now and believe me its cold the first 3 months of the year. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Great blanket which fits our king size bed perfectly. Temperature range is great – a full hour at max will have the bed cooking – but you can select any temperature, and also run for up to 9 hrs if you wish. Back lit LED control is nice and clear, and switches off after a few seconds, so no disturbing light.
I should also add that we initially bought a smaller blanket by mistake and had to return it. With the blanket unused and packed neatly as received, the refund was prompt and hassle free. Return postage was c.14 tho with Royal Mail – so we dropped ours off at the suppliers as we happened to be driving by! Great product and a good firm to deal with!
Very easy to fit to the mattress and covers all but the top 6 inches. The control is straight forward to use and both operate exactly the same. Takes about 30 minutes to warm up toasty but the bed will be aired after 10 minutes. The screen is very bright ( I can read a book with it ) but does go out after a few seconds. Only complaint is there is no indication to let you know the blanket is n or off. You have to operate one of the functions thus illuminating the bedroom.

Had a problem with one of the timers initially in that it did not work on the foot section. Display would not move off no 9 so that the correct temperature could not be determined. However, the supplier was helpful and save me having to replace the whole product by sending out a new timer.

Fits my deep super king mattress perfectly and dual controls means i can keep cool while partner can pretend she’s in the arctic. Only small issue i have with it is the connection point of blanket to controller is on the top side of the blanket below where the pillow naturally lays so you will feel it on occasions and its not very comfortable, (I either pull the pillow down a bit or move to the centre more) though it’s not enough of an annoyance to me to replace the blanket .
I’ve never had an electric blanket before. I purchased it to combat feet that feel cold even though they’re not. The blanket is very good at it’s job with excellent control of heat and coverage of the bed area, with settings for two people sharing a double, I was a bit concerned that I was going to have a cold space down the middle when in use, not so,the heat covering everything without any perceptible gaps. I have an extra thick mattress which the fitting skirt handled no problem, so all in all it was a good result and very nice getting into a warm bed.

– multiple Temperature settings that range from ‘just taking the chill off the bed’ to ‘really toasty’
– possible to set different temps for foot area and body area.
– it’s possible to have the blanket turn itself off after a certain period of time, or stay on all night.
– fits very well and easily over a deep mattress (ours is almost 12″)
– don’t shift around at all under the sheets.
– no noticeable cold area between the separately controlled sides of the bed.
CONS
The cons are very minor indeed, but I will mention them anyway, in order to give a more balanced review
– it took me about 30 mins to figure out how to set the controls. I admit I had flu at the time, so I may have been particularly daft. However I still think a small instruction leaflet would be useful (there is nothing provided).
– it would have been useful if the controls could ‘ remember’ the settings from the night before, but they always revert back to default, which is full heat in both body and foot zones for one hour. This means that every night I need to reset both zones and the timer on both sides of the bed. It’s not the end of the world tho…
All in all I would buy this blanket again and would absolutely recommend it to you.
Item arrived within the promised timescale , well packed and appeared to be made of quality materials.Easily fitted to mattress and appears to work very well. So far we have only used it on the max heat setting and one hour time setting which we activate about 45 mins prior to retiring. This gives us a pleasantly warm bed to get into. On particularly cold nights my wife who feels the cold more than me will probably increase the time setting for her side only. I only activate the lower section ( for feet) on my side.
It certainly warms up quickly ! – the default setting when switching it on delivers a heated bed in less than 5 minutes. Which can be a bit too hot for me but then again, could be more than just useful if your bedroom is cold. Recommended on that front – will have to report back at the end of winter to see how it rates in terms of durability.
Well designed
Fits my super-king size bed perfectly, even thought the mattress is very deep. A far better product than my previous electric blanket, because: a) it has a nice fleece covering, which makes it very comfortable, b) the controls are well designed where they meet the sheet at the top, so don’t give an uncomfortable lump, c) there’s an automatic timer so you can set it for 1, 5, 8 or 12 hours and d) as well as separate controls for each side, there’s also separate foot and body controls. Heats up well (9 settings). Highly recommended.
Reading some reviews regarding the control unit I was a bit hesitant to order this but as usual, the price and the knowledge of returning it via amazon if it went wrong swayed my decision, glad I did get one. I have not had any problems at all with it and we have had it some time now before writing a review just in case anything did go wrong. We really only use it to pre warm the bed and leave it timed for a couple of hours after we get into bed so it has never been used all night so maybe that has helped the reliability side of things. It is so simple to operate both for the body heat and the feet and so far has been a great help on those chilly nights so, in our case we are really satisfied with it not withstanding the fact it does not get constant use.
Had to ditch it
Didn’t post review straight away because the first time we tried the blanket one of the controllers didn’t work. I requested a replacement and it arrived really fast, so good response. The blanket is great, probably a bit more complicated than necessary with separate heat settings for head and feet, but it works fine, is a nice soft texture and fits the mattress well.
Update two months later: another control stopped working so have been asked to dispose of it and a credit issued. Will choose something else to replace it!
Very pleased... But...
Very pleased with this blanket… Particularly because unlike many other electric blankets, the large plastic connectors are located very near the top of the blanket and are therefore normally under the pillow. I would have given it 5 starts but for one thing… In the past, I have used a plug-in timer to automatically turn on my electric blanket about two hours before retiring. I cannot do this with this model since the controllers remain off until manually reset, so I now have to remember to go and switch on the blanket…..
Thisreally is the Rolls Royce of electric blankets. I already have the King size model, and bought the double for my daughter, who feels the cold (living in the chilly north east of Scotland!). The fleecy top is thick – no danger of feeling uncomfortable wires through this, and the fitted mesh net is capacious enough for the deepest mattress. I use it on a very thick memory foam mattress. The dual controls are ideal for those who may have a sleeping partner who prefers greater (or less) warmth, and the separate foot area is particularly useful, enabling the user to have higher temperatures for cold feet! Unlike most other blankets, this one can be put on timed for many hours, as well as being safe to use over night. There is a good range of temperatures to choose from. All in all, it’s not surprising that ‘Which?’ magazine awarded this a Best Buy.

Excellent product. However, I note that this model has less choice of settings than the one that this is replacing, and that one lasted five years. This change is possibly due to Health & Safety regulations since they now include a cut-out on the highest heat settings after an hour and a choice of only four heat settings for feet and body rather than the nine with the previous model. But it is a very recomendable purchase and this model has a much improved “skirt” for tucking in which is much appreciated.

We’ve had several electric blankets over the years. Dual controls are always a necessity as my husband gets cold much more than me. This blanket has been a joy. It fits our bed perfectly even though we have an extra deep mattress. The dual controls are amazing with two zones for feet and body and a flexible timer. The controls are easy to reach without having to stumble out of a warm bed, yet don’t interfere with a big bump under the pillow. The price was very good, too, and we would highly recommend this product.

Very happy with this product except for one small point. It could do with the power inlet socket to the blanket being higher up the bed under the pillow area. Where it is located at present tends to be uncomfortably at about my jaw level. Otherwise it is nice to be able to get into a warm bed knowing that the controls will do what they are supposed to do and that all of the bed will be warm if required. “We got what we paid for.” And “It does what it says on the tin.”
Cosy
Easy to operate, cosy and comfortable. Great that it has separate controls for each side of the bed, and different levels of heat. Also good to be able to have just the bottom half of the bed heated for cold feet. The timer is also a bonus. We put the blanket on the timer for one hour about 30 minutes before bedtime, then if we fall asleep reading we know the blanket will switch off automatically at the end of the hour.
Easy to Use, Wash and so Usefull!
I have had this blanket now for almost a year now. It’s amazing. I put it on pre-heat for about an hour before bed and it’s toasty warm. I put it on 5 overnight if I’m feeling chilly. It doesn’t cost much to run. The dual controls are very handy. It’s especially good at easing away aches and pains. It washes well. The only criticism is the hard plastic part where the electricity plugs into the blanket seems to be at my shoulder but putting a small amount of padding over it solves this problem.
Superb……. don’t know how I lived without it ! UPDATE .29 2 16 . I have now had this item since Christmas …. after approx. one month use one of the controllers went u/s . this was replaced and so far still seems to be working . HOWEVER ,……. the other side controller has now gone u/s like the first one …….. I am now told that the item is no longer covered by warranty ! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM OR THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE !
This is a very comfortable under blanket / mattress topper, but when you turn it on it becomes an amazing under blanket! It gives a lovely even warmth that is really controllable. The feet only setting is my wife’s favourite setting and I must admit, now I’m not used as a human foot heater, it’s mine too. I have found one major problem though. When we put it on to heat up, my daughter shoots in and we have found it very difficult to remove her ! I can see that it’s going to cost me another one isn’t it?

I absolutely love this electric blanket. I got it for my bed which is a double and it fits perfectly. The sheet is like a fitted sheet so it fits snugly over the mattress and covers it completely from top to bottom. The features which are particularly good about it are: it has heating for left and right sides of the bed so you can have individual temperatures, it has 9 temperature levels, it can heat the feet/body/both all with independent temperature controls and it has timers too so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on. The sheet is kind of like a sheeps wool effect so it also serves as a mattress protector. I can’t imagine surviving winter without it!

We bought two of these and were initially very pleased. However, the control switch was quite complicated and failed on both sides of one blanket after two years very light usage in a spare room. I informed Amazon by e mail and received an immediate response. The faulty blanket was promptly and efficiently exchanged. The manufacture has changed the control switch on the latest model for a more robust and less complex design. We are delighted with our Homefront Premium double sized electric blankets and we are very appreciative of the excellent customer support provided by Amazon, .
Forget those cold winter nights!!
We love this item. My husband is always cold and I am the opposite, so it is ideal having separate controls for each side of the bed. There are also several functions and time scales for each controller.
My husband just loves getting into bed during the cold nights now and is soon off to sleep whereas before he would lie awake (sometimes shivering) for ages even with a hot water bottle. A really good investment for us and would recommend this item .
We have had some trouble with one of the controllers, but the retailer very quickly sorted this out and replaced it.
Haven’t tried washing it yet though.
I have had this some months now & am delighted with it. It heats up rapidly, is nice & long even for me a tall person & stays put. Only 4 stars though as I I have 2 winges, the first is that the plug part is intrusive being felt as a lump on the bed, a couple of inches in from the side. – better it was on the ‘depth’ part of the matress. The other is that when I use the control switch that hangs down at the bedside it appears upside down & needs turning to read it properly. However saying that I have ordered another for a daughter as it is so effective & has made winter more bearable generally.

This blanket is better than any I have had before. It fits snuggly over the bed like a fitted sheet & has dual controls. The extra foot warmer is lovely for cold feet! It has a variable timer from 1, 5, 8 and 12 hours, heat settings 1 -9, & then turns itself off. The only problem is that if the mains plug is removed and then plugged in again, & the blanket is not turned to the off position (which can easily be forgotten), it switches on for an hour on the highest setting, which is 9. (Too warm). It would be better if the default position is 0. This is the only problem I have found with it.
Have had this for 4 months now and it is performing well. The dual controls and ability to just warm the feet or body make this very easy to use. The fact that it attaches to the bed like a fitted sheet, rather than ties means that it does not move about on the bed. And the fleece material means that you do not fell the internal wires when lying on it.
I would have awarded five stars except that it seems to be a little slow to warm the bed, meaning that you need to switch at least 30 minutes before you intend to go to bed.
Separate control and heat for your fee
Nice and warm with extra heat and control for feet, the controls are easy to master but I would have liked it if they remembered my settings although it’s not much trouble to set them each time (hence four stars) so if you have trouble with your feet and you need extra warmth this is the one for you … Just one more thing you will need two plug sockets as each side has its own plug

Great electric blanket that will suit all types
Bought this for my wife who likes to feel warm/hot in bed. The fit is great, controls are straightforward and it is comfortable to lie on. Duel control allows my wife to have it on way to hot for me, but I don’t notice it on my side (I don’t use it other than for a few minutes to take any chill out before getting in). The added benefit is the way too thick for me winter duvet has been switched back to our lighter spring/summer duvet – so much more comfortable and I’ve been able to sleep right through the night with waking up constantly to throw the cover off to cool down. A win win for both of us – I should have invested in one years ago!
A Cosy Nights Rest.
I like itand have slept comfortably on for over two years. . It is indeed an excellent electric blanket. It is fleecy, very comfortable to lie on, has an elasticated skirt holding it to the mattress and is easily washed. It warms quickly and has separate controls for the two sides of bed, a good range of warmth and duration settings.
I like it but there is one minor irritation the electric supply to the two warming in the blanket enters via a plastic connector about six inches into either side of the blanket. This is an uncomfortable lump if you lie close to the edge of the bed.
Brilliant product. I have had this for one winter in Ireland. You can set different temperature settings for each side of the bed and each has a different setting for the feet as well. Some reviews complain about the hard socket inlet close to the sleeping position but I don’t find this an issue at all because I don’t sleet that far to the edge… There are two such controllers – one on each side at about shoulder height. This blanket warms up really quickly – great if you have forgotton to turn it on. Its highest temperature is seriously high. You would bake if you kept it on. It also has a one hour shut off which would be great for those who will fall asleep (say at a setting of 2 body and 3 for feet) if you wish. Older electric blankets needed to be on for about an hour before being warm but this one gets up to lovely comfortable temperature in the time to brush your teeth and get ready – so I think it saves electric (compared to ones in the past). The blanket is sewed into a white stretchy deep elasticated fitting surround which holds it tight on the bed matress and so does not crease, tuck, fold or move when in place. Treat yourself – you won’t regret this one.

Best buy I have ever made I have been suffering from back ache lately and bought this blanket to help ease the pain which it does.
It is also good because my partner does not want to have her side on at this time so she can chose whether she puts it on or not.
The heat settings are easy to use and can be changed even in the dark Easley and the fit to the bed is great as it is just like a matters cover with no ties and it is washable which I find a bonus.

I thought this was quite expensive – but – it’s what my daughter wanted – and it was Christmas – so Santa duly delivered it. I must say she is absolutely thrilled with it.
I had one of these myself many years ago and I loved it – the dual controls are a must and being able to wash the blanket was really good. It also lasted for many years. I only threw it away as it was beginning to wear and I thought it was getting dangerous I told my daughter just how good mine was so I suppose I can only blame myself for her wanting this top of the range item
Bought this blanket two years ago and in that time it has functioned perfectly. However recently one side of the double stopped working due to a fault in the plug connection for that side – probably at least partly my own fault (leaning on the plug getting out of bed!). There was never any danger – plug system well insulated.
Called the manufacturer two days ago and explained the problem. Was immediately offered a full replacement connection which arrived this morning. I chucked the old one, fitted the new one (all of five minutes), problem solved. And without charge – although didn’t ask for this. First class service, no hassle, blanket now fully operational, two happy bunnies!

I bought this double fitted blanket just over a year ago.
Recently I started having trouble with one of the controllers as a few other reviewers have reported.
I contacted Amazon and they offered a full refund but as I took this item abroad that would have been too much trouble and not worth the effort.
Instead I called the number given on the information sheet that came with the blanket and was put through to the support department in Doncaster in the UK.
One week later and I had a new controller for very little money delivered to me in Italy.
Excellent customer service from this company (ACL) and would have no qualms about buying their products again.
The blanket itself is very good and works perfectly as advertised.
Poor service from Parcel Force
This product is excellent and exactly as described.
However I had great difficulty with Parcel Force. As I was out when the delivery was made. A note left saying the package was at 22 Barking Road. I went there, a very helpful assistant spent ages trying to find it. He was informed it was delivered to 25 Freemasons Road when I got there same as before no package. Again a very helpful assistant informed it was at my local Post Office Pier Road. I spent nearly 3 hours going to wrong addresses. The tracking number was: UH1656155001.
I was a bit apprehensive because most negative comments noted the potential deficiencies with the controller but 2 months in and we haven’t had any issues.
The blanket is perfect, it gets the bed nice and warm pretty quickly and has excellent coverage. The option to set feet and body to different temperatures is great and the timer feature means you can leave it on a bit after you get into bed. The fleece is good quality and fits so well on the mattress you don’t even know it’s there(doesn’t move around).
I’ll update this review if I have issues with the controller so if this hasn’t been edited then you know the controllers are working fine for a period that is 2 months prior to this review, up until when you read it.

it was getting cold and not wishing to put the smelly oil fired heating on too early, got one of these..Independant controls either side with separate head and foot zones both of which are adjustable.and can be set for between 1 and 5 hours and machine washable. . It did develop a fault after a couple of weeks and the sellers replaced the faulty unit by return of post without any quibbles….if only my phone provider could deliver such service. Top seller, a good price, and excellent service.
Do we like it,..its so comfy you feel as if you need to go “Ahh” whenever we hop into bed :o)

Purchase of the decade! We no longer have to do the ‘cold bed dance’ and sleep is greatly improved. I just switch on about 15 minutes before bed and then look forward to the warm envelope of comfort. I love that the mattress cover has a timer and then completely switches off, no flashing or lights through the night etc. The dual controls are perfect. The skirt is a good size – we have an extra deep mattress and it fits perfectly. No problems with location of the wires but if I were to change anything, it would be to move them to the underneath pillow area rather than at shoulder height. A fabulous purchase at a great price. I wonder how we lasted so long without it.
Best electric blanket I have ever purchased
I have always bought dreamland electric blankets in the past but the last two of those purchased have stopped working very quickly and I decided to buy this one. Without doubt it is the best I have ever used. It is thick and fleecy and gives the bed a cosy feeling even before it is turned on. The controls are very easy to understand and you can either have the whole bed, or just the body part of the bed or foot warmth only on. Personally I prefer foot only and it can be on for an hour, or 5 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours at the flick of a switch. The heat goes from 1 – 9. The bed heats up very quickly and is extremely cosy.
I have a king size bed and it fits perfectly. I toss and turn a lot but the blanket stays firmly in place.
I would recommend 100% this blanket and really cannot find one criticism about it.

Love the fact that you can control each side of the bed separately and even more so that you can control the foot section separately from the body (I hate hot feet and like that part of the bed to be cold!)
Another good thing is that the cords going into the blanket are quite flat so you are never aware of lying on them ( which used to be a problem with our old electric blanket).
You can set it to switch off after 1 hour, 5 hours or 12 hours so if you like you can sleep with it on ( I’ve only done this once when it was very very cold)
Not washed it yet do can’t say how well that works.
We absolutely love our blanket. It’s perfect we have a Super King bed and this blanket fits perfectly without stretching too much, we’ve had it 6 months now, it’s still in fabulous condition and washes brilliantly.
Love the fact you can adjust the heat for feet or body and love the fact that you can adjust the temp for either side, so having a partner that’s a lot warmer than me he doesn’t even have to have his side on. Although when he tried it for the first time he loves having the bed warm now, and it doesn’t overheat you it gives you a perfect temperature.
Great if you’ve been to the gym or have achy joints the heat instantly relaxes you.

Exactly what I wanted
A comfortable electric blanket (fleecy) with no annoying strings to attach it to the bed, just a perfectly fitted under blanket. The dual controls sold it to me as the wife seems to like the extra heat all year round, now I don’t need to lie on the floor instead of cooking! Also love the split body/feet control as my feet are prone to get chilly when the rest of me is fine. The wife particularly likes the timer feature as she can now happily drop off knowing the blanket will switch itself off. Surprised there’s any negative reviews, some people must just have been unlucky. Very well packaged & delivered quickly. Excellent service on an excellent product.
Excellent product and easy to use
Bought for elderly in-laws who were looking to replace an old fitted electric blanket. This looked to tick all the boxes regarding the style of blanket required. Fleecy top, so comfortable. Fitted sheet style rather than ties so fits nicely on bed and doesn’t move about.
Controls on both sides and separate areas for body and heat settings so that each party can customise the settings for their own comfort and possible to leave the blanket on overnight. My mother-in-law had been used to a dual dial control blanket but has found the digital controls very easy to use, is very happy that she and her husband can both set separate body and feet heat settings and says that the fleece is of a very high quality being soft and deep.

Very prompt and courteous service from this company. The items (also ordered a king size blanket) arrived the next day so was very pleased. The controls are very easy to use and love the fact you can have the feet section at a higher setting than the middle of the bed!! As I suffer from the restless legs syndrome the heat does help at night and I am certainly sleeping much better.

This electric blanket is a must for everyone with cold feet. With normal electric blankets I always woke up with cold feet unless I kept the whole thing on all night and then I would wake up too hot. Four individually controlled areas of heat means the perfect solution for everyone and the controls are simple to use. It’s our second purchase and now we’re busily converting the family. It took us a while to persuade my 90 year old father-in-law to have one of these but now he has it I reckon he would fight to the death in order to keep it. Cast off your bedsocks and never wake up with cold feet again.
This has a furry top, like a good quality throw or fleece. It has light net side panels which look flimsy but seem adequately strong. It fit our super king sized bed perfectly.
The first thing we noticed is that the bed felt warmer without even turning the blanket on. Obviously you put a sheet over the fleece but the fleece seems to provide a generally warmer and cosier underlayer. It also traps the heat once switched on.
Each side has a separate controller and plug that you plug in separately. The trailling wires pass neatly through the side panels and had adequate wire length. (About 2′ ie 600mm from the edge of the blanket to the controller and about 6′ ie 1.5m from the controller to the plug)
Each controller has a separate heat setting ranging from 0 to 9 and it is possible to set the top half of the blanket at a different setting to the lower half as each has a separate clear numeric indicator which moves on 1 each time you press the appropriate button. In addition there is a third button which allows you to chose 1, 5, 8 or 12 hours count down. There is also an on/off slide to switch the blanket on or off. In practice, if you have used the blanket it will have switched itself off and you only need to press any button to re-start.
The numeric readouts are clear red LED numbers and the timer is indicated by very clear LEDs with a different colour for each time.
Each side uses 60 watts and this seems to warm the bed up to feel pleasantly warm on 9. You would probably find this setting too high to sleep with and 4 or 5 might suit most but if you tend to get cold feet you could have more warmth in the lower section, etc, etc.
This replaced a Dreamland electric blanket that was about 8 years old. This drew 150 watts each side and I was concerned that the replacement blanket would not be powerful enough. I would say it is not quite as warm on maximum as the Dreamland but I think the new one is quite warm enough and as I mentioned, too warm to sleep with for most people when set on maximum. I prefer this blanket as it gives more control, is generally warmer because of the fleece and it is also cheaper to run.
The old blanket was 90 and this one was 65 so the blanket seems excellent value. It comes with a very nice zipped case so that you might store it during the summer if you wish.
If you have a cold house or just like getting into a cosy bed this item would make a vast difference. You might be able to turn your house central heating down and use the blanket to help save on your overall energy bill.
It has exceeded both my and my wifes expectations and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it.

OMG! this the most fabulous electric blanket – no strings, no struggling to get the thing onto the bed, no bunching up, no ridges and it actually does cover the whole of a double bed – not like the bad old days!! This is a wonderful blanket… easy to put on and fits perfectly on my deep mattress, feels comfortable and very cosy. I find anything from 6 upwards a perfect setting – if I forget to put it on, I put in on 9 and it heats up very quickly…. the timed settings are great too…. Would recommend this fabulous blanket to anyone renewing – its an electric blanket brought up to the 21st century!!

NOT disappointed…WOW an excellent product… I was worried that it might not have fitted my bed as I have a memory foam topper but because of net valance, it fits perfectly…was pleased with controls..not only dual control for each person this control allows you to have different settings for foot area and body setting so in fact this blanket enables you and your sleeping partner to have multi choices re settings..

The blanket fits easily onto the mattress, the digital controls are well designed and the blanket is a good size. It heats up quickly and has a useful timer meaning that you can set it to remain on for 1 hr, 3 hrs etc. You can even leave it on a low setting while you’re in bed. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that the instructions could be more comprehensive. However, it is a great electric blanket and well worth the money.
This is the first dual control blanket I have purchased and I am completely pleased with it. The blanket is very well made and packaged. It arrived on time, but then I paid extra for next day postage! It fits a double bed perfectly and did not move in use and has a really comfortable fleecy top. The controls are well made,clear and easy to use – the powerleads are also long too! It heated up quickly and operated as described. I should have bought one years ago. Very impressed with it and will almost cetainly buy another!One or two other reviews mentioned the odd ‘negative’ I understand these but they did not bother me at all. This blanket is an excellent product representing excellent value for money.
ordered product and item arrived promptly (within 4 days). did not really test until january as weather was mild during december, however when tested it worked well (always a plus). dual controls for convenient his/her settings. digital display. temperature (0 off to 1 low to 9 high). buttons to adjust temp and time (1 hour..5hours..8 hours..12 hours). large on/off switch located below button controls. foot warmer is incredible, and sometimes is all you need. i normally have it set – body 3 and foot 7 – on a 1 hour timer. cover fits well on bed but does gather at either the top or bottom of mattress. small controller connector (matchbox size) sits awkwardly near pillow area/chest area…but is ignored after a while. blanket takes about 10 mins before you start feeling the warmth. in short a happy purchase.

What an topclass fleece underblanket with great heating with individual controls, can preheat bed then have seperate heating for feet & body soooo cosy arrived quickly in time for extemely cold nights.Can be given time required from 1hr to 12 hrs.

Have not checked energy use yet, I do not have central heating on during the night now so I think energy use will be balanced out.

This blanket has it all and is worth every penny. Two settings one for each side of the bed that saves all the rows with the wife. Also you can put it on maximum knowing that the timer will stop it and it gets hot quickly. Also a setting for your body and one for your feet with 1 to 9 range of heats and 4 timer settings as well.If you want it will Switch itself off so you can set 4 hours heat and then off. mind you i set mine for 3 all night.
I did forget another good point and that is how it is held in place which makes sure that it does not move.

Weather really not cold enough (long may it continue!) to fully test the blanket but for warming up the bed before retiring it is wonderful.
Only complaint I have is that the controls, on a very stiff electrical cord, would be much better the other way round as you seem to be looking at the thing the wrong way round and also upside down. The unit is on too short a lead, and too stiff a cord, to put on a bedside table and just has to hang, the wrong way round and upside down, towards the floor.

Received item speedily and very well packed, wasted no time in putting it onto the bed. Big improvement over old style blankets, the skirt fitting snugly onto the mattress no more of those silly ties to secure.
My wife goes to bed much earlier than myself as a result the bed is always cold when I finally make it, but this dual control model ends all that, individual settings mean im warm too.
Really cant fault it as yet it does take a while to warm up but not too long, wouldnt be without it now.
