Hoover Breeze Evo TH31BO01 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner [Energy Class A+]
Long reach cleaning
Breeze Evo is a bagless upright vacuum, packed with useful features to help make your cleaning feel effortless.
A cable length of 7m lets you reach further without having to stop and change to a different power socket. A longer flex makes your cleaning more convenient and efficient, so that you can get it done quicker and get on with enjoying your free time.
Another extended reach benefit that Breeze Evo has to offer is the long hose, which stretches to an impressive 4.5m, long enough to reach a typical 13-step staircase.
Breeze Evo is suitable for most types of flooring, with an adjustable rotating brush bar to penetrate deeply into carpets for a thorough cleaning experience. Use the dial on the foot to raise and lower the brush bar according to the different floor types in your home. This allows you to achieve the optimal combination of dust pickup and manoeuvrability.
Above floor cleaning is easy, with the hose and accessories all stored neatly on board. The long rigid crevice tool is great for getting into tight spaces, whilst the dusting brush can be used for a multitude of chores, such as for your blinds or for skirting boards. Slide off the brush to reveal the upholstery nozzle, which cleans cushions and curtains without the risk of damage.
If you need longer reach, for example to clean a light shade, or to vacuum a cobweb from the ceiling, the extension tube is an invaluable aid. Simply attach the tube to the end of the hose, then add the tool of your choice and away you go. The extension tube is also of benefit if you suffer from back pain, as it means you will not have to bend down to clean low areas.

Great hoove
I am really surprised by how good this hoover is. It’s powerful and the extra long hose for the hoover tools is great for doing all those higher places. Will definitely buy again.
This hoover is actually really good ..it has great suction,a really easy to use long reach pipe and it’s really quiet . I was actually really surprised just how quiet it is compared to other hoover I’ve had .
I really recommend it .
BEST CLEANER I HAVE EVER BOUGHT (and I'm old)
Once I had set the cleaner up which was fairly easy, I tried it on a nylon carpet I have in the kitchen and have never been able to get all the dog hair up whatever I used, it picked up all the hair with no problem, maybe I should try it on the dog (only joking)
This electric upright cleaner works very well but it does have some downsides too. The filter can be difficult to clean. I am lucky to have a garden to bang it over an empty dustbin but in a flat it would be messy. It cleans beautifully. The drum is easy to empty. I love it. I can do 11 stairs easily but the hose is fiddly and I store it in a cupboard. The attachment for stairs and upholstery is excellent. The accessories are not the best quality but it is a cheap cleaner. I find the electric lead fiddly and easily tangles. I have been using it for over a year now and it cleans very well just the issues of emptying and cleaning the filter and the hose could be a real issue to some people.
Does what says on the tin !!!
I ordered this machine after doing a bit of research online. I needed a machine that would cope with thick carpet and this machine does exactly that. Its 5 position head manages all floor types in my house. Long story short,to paraphrase a geezer on YouTube; “it’s a great bit of kit”
Great Vacuum
Wanted an old fashioned upright vacuum cleaner to replace one I had had for ages. Bought a Shark but don’t like how to handle and operate it.Therefore was surprised to get this one. Didn’t disappoint and thoroughly satisfied with its performance and handling.
This one follows on from 4 previous Hoovers which have served me well for years. The previous models had the 2400W or 2200W motors. Got a couple in before EU laws meant only less powerful motors could be sold. I was a bit concerned that this Breeze Evo might not be effective with only an 800+W motor but pleasantly surprised to find subtle differences in design have made this upright even better than before. First thing to notice was the lighter and longer cable. No need for such a hefty cable with less electricity flowing. Squeegee blades front and rear of the brush roller concentrate the suction lifting power where it is most needed. Very effective. The tool hose is separate, still on board, but is lightweight and stretches comfortably to the top of the stairs. The pet tool is effective, too. Emptying and cleaning is just as the older ones. Having said that, Breeze Evo seems to fill a lot quicker – probably a good sign – lifts more dust and fluff than the older models.
All in all, I am very pleased with this, the latest edition of this type of Hoover upright. It works for me.
Absolute top price/performance
I have already owned the predecessor for over 7 years, as a dog owner the cleaner is indispensable, I would buy it again in a heartbeat – fast delivery to Switzerland
Value, efficient, light weight.
Works well, heights are easy to adjust. Complex tools connection, with no obvious instructions, but I have it working, even if unsure whether I did it correctly. Maybe it’s just me.
Due to efficiency have to empty regularly .
This hoover is amazingly good ,only drawback is with long hairy dogs you will have to empty several times especially when they are molting or as the modern word today is shedding their coat . Oh! and it does reach all the way up or down the stairs . Only minor problem is it is all plastic so you do have to be careful not to mistreat it . But for the price it’s unbeatable . And better than any other more expensive ones I have used .
Quite a workout to use
Not a fan of the on board tool storage. The small brush falls off its storage place all the time so in a cupboard. The extending hose has a hook on the back but there isn’t a place to clip the ends so it falls off. Also in a storage cupboard now. Suction is fine and easy to empty. We’re in a bungalow so haven’t any stairs but think I’d be frustrated using the tools.
Good suction on this hoove
Bit of a pain when u have to change hose over when u want to clean stairs but good long hose to clean stairs.I think it should have a parquet brush with with this hoover.
Cleans laminate flooring, carpets and shaggy rugs very effectively. Was equally impressed and horrified by the amount of dust and crumbs it pulled out of our shaggy lounge rug that I had just vacuumed with a Shark cordless. Definitely worth the money spent, only wish it was a bit lighter to manoeuvre otherwise would have given it 5 stars
Decent enough
I’ve had this for just under 3 years and it is still work and hasn’t broken down once. Overall its a great vacuum, although it doesn’t have the greatest suction power. I bought this before I had a pet dog and it was perfectly fine then, but if you have a pet I’d get a much more powerful hoover.
Hoover fantastic!!
Wasn’t sure about this Hoover as quite abit cheaper than the bigger brands BUT this Hoover is brilliant!! Suction is really good! Only 2 pieces to assemble easy to do! Lightweight and long cord ! Really happy with this Hoover ,, I’ve had the sharks and a Dyson before but honestly prefer this hoover to any of those !!
Efficient cleane
Found it easy to assemble as instructions very clear. Was really amazed how much debris this hoover pulled out of our carpets and was surprised how light it was and has the added bonus of washable filters.
All in all a good buy
I have previously had a shark and Dyson which both broke I have 3 dogs so a good suction hoover is essential. I was on a low budget so thought I’d try this out . It did not disappoint the attachments that come with it are brilliant for the sofa and stairs and get the hair straight of . I won’t buy a different hoover now so I recommend this to everyone especially if you have pets .
👍👍 Definitely worth buying 👍👍
Great wee vacuum for the price and it’s a well known brand which is plus.and for anyone who wants to know what the shorter hoes is for you connect both ends to the suction holes so you don’t have to have the longer hoes attached and if you just used it with the smaller hose attached you’ll get a better proformace out of it longer hoes is for handy for the hard to reach places mainly for dog cat hairs with th attachment but if you want the effective proformace don’t use the long hose. Easy to put together lightweight easy to empty and reattach to the machine great suction. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
Was a bit wary as very cheap compared with other top models. Have a cordless Shark and GTech and 3 dogs, 2 with long hair. The shark is rubbish as is always getting blocked after a short time and cuts out. ( although my daughter swears by her corded one). The GTech was slightly better but suction not very good. When the GTech packed up, wondered what to do. Absolutely convinced that corded models have much greater suction so decided to take a chance and ordered this Hoover. Great decision, amazing how much it picks up. There are 4 levels of suction so can also hoover my shaggy rugs on the lowest suction.
The only drawbacks so far: instructions not good as to how to attach tools, need to look at picture on box. Although easy to detach bin, make sure you emty it outside over dustbin as dust goes everywhere also found that had to remove the top as dog hair wrapped round the filter and found it a little awkward to empty and put back together (was considering knocking off a star for this) but overall great value and not as heavy as a lot of corded models.
Very nice and well working vacuum which has great suction and movement. The cord is nice and long for a flight of stairs with a dog leg.
Easy to empty and very good with hair.
Only issue with it is the screw holding the body to the handle which if you dont hire a power lifter to fit it in, will wriggle loose and fall off. Easy to pick up and reinsert but it is annoying how loose it gets.
I think picking it up for use on the stairs maybe why.
hose not really long enough to do stairs with without picking it up for holding half way, I just lug the body up and use it like that.
Vintage desig
First off “excellent value for money,”has most of the features of a 1960s hoover ie: (no lights,) adequate suction, though not as maneuverable as more recent models, comes with extension tubes, easy to attach (very easy to use, even for the elderly,) can recommend.
The first time I have had an upright hoover and I LOVE it. I like the way all the accessories hang onto the hoover here and there for storage. I was left wondering what one piece of plastic was for, but then we noticed the picture on the box, it clipped onto the front of the handle and held the pet fur accessory. I was amazed at the amount of fur the hoover sucks up and it is so easy to empty the container too. The extra long tube for the stairs is great, I park the hoover at the foot of the stairs and can reach all 13 steps. The hoover is a bit plasticky as a previous reviewer mentioned but I hope that with careful use it will last a long time. Very pleased altogether, a great buy.
Hoover breeze is excellent value for money
I bought this hoover because my dyson died a few days before we were having visitors, I needed a vacuum cleaner and thought for the price it probably would cost more to have my cleaner repaired. Since using it I find that it goes into the corners a lot better than my more expensive dyson and it cleans the stairs easily and picks up well. I would recommend this hoover to anyone.
Great for deep cleaning
I brought this vacuum after returning two other brands. It works very well. I can be awkward on the steps but it has wonderful suction and brought back the fluff in my carpet and rugs. Well done Hoover.
Great vac for the price
The hoover is light and easy to pick up, cleans well, only niggle is hose storage but a super vac at a good price
Why did you take an extra £1 off me?
This hoover seems ok atm. Bought it for 69 but was charged 70 no wonder Mr Amazon is a multi billionaire
Excelle
Certainly the best vac we’ve ever had. Powerful suction. Switching to the hose is very quick. Stair attachment is perfect.
Hoover breeze
Really happy with my hoover breeze evo does the job brilliantly.
