We were using Samsung EccoBubble for the last 5 years and on Sunday, it suddenly stop working, so I decide to come back to Hoover. So far so good, spinning is quiet, and loads of programmes during the remote use (app on my iPhone). So far, I’m happy, I will update the review if something will change.
For me this washer is perfect, I personally love loading my app to see a list of lots of different programms and options to chose from (I’m useless at laundry so this is excellent for me) I could understand how this might be a detracter for some with a traditional washer and prefer dialling in the settings manually. This is particularly challenging since the physical buttons are a little finicky. If you are wanting a smart washer this is an excellent choice, easy to maintain, very quiet and overall an excellent experience.
This is a great washer dryer clothes come out smelling great and very dry no need for a second spin, the app is very easy to use too, yes on a full wash and dry cycle it can take 6 hours but you just put it on and forget until you get the notification. Love this machine
This washer dryer has so many features that makes it so easy and convenient to use. The auto dispense detergent is a great feature. No need to add detergent each time you wash. Basically just load in your clothes run your program and it will auto calculate the water and detergent needed saving time and consumption. It works like a petrol tank. Top up when near empty. The phone app has so many programs to choose from and can set when to start the wash and dry. The app will let you know how long remaining and notify you when finished. It has a maintenance section to remind you when the machine needs a clean cycle and top up detergent. Overall the machine operates at a reasonable noise level and the dryer works well and can dry my bath towels after 1hr. Highly recommend this washer dryer.
The first machine would not connect to wifi, (many thanks to excellent amazon staff who arranged replacement and return collection for me) replacement connected without problem and works very well.
Wifi is very important as most of the functions require to be programmed from a smart phone, (especially drying functions)

Really easy to set up, Its great that I don’t have to think about detergent as this does it all for you. Can put a wash in the machine, close the door set to WIFI Mode (Turn large dial one click) go to work as I start early, start machine from work through my phone, get home at lunch put clothes out to dry if needed or fold and put away if the machine has dried for me. Did towels overnight had warm clean fluffy towels in the morning.
Machine tells you what programme its running and how long left to go before the end, – visible on the machine and through your phone It will send a notification to your phone to say its finished… much to my husbands disappointment if he’s home and I’m not
Lots of extra functions through the app which I love plus a virtual wardrobe to scan label’s to give you the best advice on wash setting that again you have to do through your phone and set as favourites in the app.

Really impressed by the quietness of the machine we live in a open plan home and we don’t hear it running just when it does a spin (it’s a bit louder) nothing for us to complain about as this is much quieter than our last machine
Super impressed that it has a ‘Pet Accessories’ programme to help eliminate odours and pet hair on clothes (have to go through the app for this programme along with many more)
Not a fan of technology – that’s fine even my husband can turn a dial for a quick wash and he doesn’t need to even worry about adding detergent to it as the machine does all this for you, close the door, turn the dial press start.. job done!
Brilliant for a busy family with pets
The washing machine is very good. We love it.
The display not very user friendly though.
The wifi control is garbage. The smartphone app us complicated and useless.
Autodose is brilliant – fill up with liquid & softener every few weeks and it automatically adds the right amount to each load.
Phone app is fantastic, 60 (!) cycles to choose from & can customise temperature/ spin/ drying options.
This machine is simply wonderful, it’s super smart, energy efficient and cleans and dries clothes to absolute perfection. I think washer driers often get a bit of a bad reputation, but this one really does break the mould. I can’t quite believe how clever the machine is, I can connect to my phone, which is very novel – so I can even notify my husband when I’m out of the cycle is due to end, so there’s no excuse for him not to attempt to fold it all!! The clean is perfect and very impressive, I have a son in nursery and you won’t believe the state of his clothes that get sent home with him on some days! One thing I must also stress is that the finish of the dried clothes is wonderful, with my previous washer drier, sometimes the dried clothes came out a little damp and never ‘bone dry’ I often found that creasing used to be a huge issue which washer driers for some strange reason, but so far, this machine really does tick all of the boxes for me and my family. It’s really worth the money and I even have confidence that my husband can use it whilst I’m away! A fantastic product, from a trusted brand, I look forward to learning more functions!
For the price this machine is great value. It looks fantastic (which helps!) but also runs really quietly. There’s lot’s of settings for various wash/dry scenarios, which is really useful if you’re a bit of a fashionista and are really specific about how you want to wash various materials. The App is also a great function (once you’ve got it to work).
I’ve not really used any Hoover products before, but after reading about this appliance, how modern it is and the fact it is both a washer and dryer instantly attracted me. My previous washing machine was a integrated one so I was a bit shocked at how big this one is, however that is to be expected with any freestanding machine. When it comes to actually using the machine, I was a bit confused to begin with as some of the icons did not make sense to me but I soon realised the digital display explains each one (& the app can also help with this). You can connect your phone to the machine and use the Hoover app which can be downloaded from the App Store which is extremely useful. Having said that it, if you are not familiar with using smartphones then im not sure if there is another way to use those additional cycles? All in all this is a great state of the art appliance which has the latest technology to suit our evolving needs and I am pleased with it.
When I first received the washer dryer I thought it was too complicated & it does take time to get used to it, but now I find it EXCELLENT, it’s very quiet and does a great job, using the app the machine works well.
Glad I purchased it.
JUST A SHAME ITS MADE IN CHINA
For the money (I bought on sale), it’s seems ok so far. It’s not the easiest to use but that could be me as a pose to the machine. Also, can’t seem to find a short wash cycle but again that may be user error.
Does the job and for a budget machine it’s fine.

I feel the eco rating makes this washer dryer combo great value. Assuming it remains reliable, I would definitely recommend it.
I found it better than I expected. I was wary of a combined machine but its been easy to use and the dryer is good too.
The washer has a good capacity. I can wash my large superking bedding set, or superking bedspread happily. The dryer capacity is a bit smaller, and may mean splitting large loads to dry them.
The door is a good size.
There are lots of useful automatic and adjustable features like water hardness to enable the machine to measure the amount of detergent required, and an all in one cycle to include drying, and a timer etc. Can be controlled my mobile app but that’s never appealed to me!
Was easy to install ourselves.
My only real bugbears are the following:
1) There is no kind of fluff filter for the dryer, I don’t know if this is standard for combined machines? It means needing to wipe out the drum/door seal and door thoroughly after using the dryer, rather than emptying a filter.
2) The detergent dispenser drawer will not open and close properly when the washing machine door is open. Just bugs me, probably just need to adjust my “loading routine” but it drives me nuts
N.B. If you use an Ecoegg (excellent eco friendly washing egg) you have to remember to take it out before using the dryer, and remember you cannot use it on cycles over 60 Ecoegg…can you work on this!?
