Takes a lot of time to assemble.
If buying it for your own child, you should set aside a solid hour at least to allow for assembly.
The instructing are good, could be a bit clearer in parts, especially when describing how to put together the loopping track.
Once assembled, it’s a very impressive toy, you’ll need plenty of space.
The cars usually ‘crash’ off the track at the end of the run and don’t finish where they should, meaning if you add on extra track it’s unlikely that the cars will make it into it. I’m not sure if this is a design problem or a mistake I made in assembly.
Large, fun garage for HW
It’s quite flimsy plastic but it is sturdy enough for its use. If anything it’s provided somewhere to store 100 cars!
Kids love it but is very noisy.
This was a Christmas present and the kids love it. The only downside is that it is so noisy when the lever is pulled. It almost sounds like some is hitting it with another toy. Obviously some cars work better than others and some cars will fly off the track. No accidents from this,,,, yet!!

Kids adore it!
A much anticipated present that my boys love. Now, I am a mechanic by trade and run a large service centre – so I’m good at DIY. But on assembly I was defeated for about 20mins by the instructions for one part of this – infuriatingly my wife took one look and sorted it immediately, so I’m going to say user error rather than difficult to assemble.

How can you go wrong with Hot Wheels?! A fantastic Christmas present for our son and, unashamedly, for myself!
The whole set took 20 minutes to set up, no fiddly stickers and all the parts assemble together with clear, illustrative instructions.
A great set and now display for over 40 Hot Wheels vehicles! Hours of fun!

It’s got a few eye-catching features, like the shark and the lift, and there are loads of add-ons you can buy. We added the police station kit for good measure. Be aware you also need to buy separate tracks for every add-on.

However the handle that makes the cars wiz around broke quite soon after play.
Happy with purchase
I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 5 years old son. It arrived on time. I gave it to my son on Christmas Day and he was really excited to see it. We assembled it together. Took around an hour. My son spends hours playing with it and all his friends those come home( boys and girls) enjoy playing with it.
It’s value for money as I don’t see the price again at which I bought it.
Only issue that see with it is that some of the tracks( less used ones on the right side)don’t fit nicely. The automatic lift doesn’t go up to the top sometimes. May be it’s because of continuous excessive use sometimes. Not all hot wheels cars are compatible with it. They have to be specific weight and size for jumping in to the tunnel and going through the loop after we pull the lever.
As a whole happy with the purchase at the price I got it.

Cars often turn over during the use of the hand pulled lever.
Took a while to set up. The hand pulled lever is hard for a child to pull, and very loud.

First Class Boys Toy... What ever age you are
Why is this designed with Children in mind; this was bought for my Grandson who totally loves his Hot Wheels, but it could just as easily have been bought for me as these Hot Wheels were around when was 10 or 11yrs old and they were Great then….. I want this now as an Adult!

Very good indeed. The little lad has had hours of fun with this since opening it in chritmas day. Easy to assemble and good value…I managed to get it when it was 60.
***UPDATE***
Good while it lasted. My son had this for xmas and a month after playing with it the lift has stopped going all the way to the top. It stops about an inch from the top and you need to push it to the top. Not ideal for a toy that is only a mo th old and that not been abused.

Wow what can I say! My son absolutely loves this! Brought for Christmas and He hasn’t stopped playing with it! Got it on a flash deal so didn’t even pay full price either so even better! Would highly recommend if your son/daughter is car mad like mine!

Great toy. Shark head needs careful assembly.
A great toy. I, like others, found that the shark head did not randomly open, it was always closed. After some Internet searching I discovered that this is all down to a (missing) key step in the instructions (part of step13). When you attach R1 to Support C, the lever inside Support C needs to be to the left of lever on the underside of R1 (in the socket on the underside of R1 that Support C fits in).
I found it easier to correctly attach R1 to Support C prior to fitting Support C to the base. Once this is done all works well.

Very easy and quick to assemble, even a very excited 4 year old right next to me. This product is actually better than I thought it would be. He’s been asking for a Hot Wheels garage for his birthday and I’m so glad I’ve ordered it. Lots of room to store cars in it, lots of things to keep him busy and it’s also big enough for him and his brother to play together without arguing. I’m sure I’ll be ordering more Hot Wheels items in future, especially as I’ve been so pleased with the quality this time round.

This is fantastic! Really sturdy, very easy to assemble (it’s all labelled with letters and numbers). My son has non stoped playing with it! Totally work the money what I spent!

I bought this for my 6 yr old for xmas, firstly I didnt realise how big it was and secondly how great it is, it lives in my sons bedroom and he will happily go up and play by himself. If you are consideringh buying this, then do it, it makes a great xmas present, and honestly, its the only thing you will need to gift.

Fantastic garage
Bought this for christmas my grandson. It’s a lovely toy and a great addition his hot wheels tracks and cars. Price wise, it’s quite on the high end, but worth the money as he spends lots of time playing with it. Recommendable.
