We have used it 3 times and found it to be very easy to use, powerful and fairly ligh
Very easy to assemble, battery charges quickly, works very well on lawn edges and with practice will be much better than long handle shears, saving my aching back.
The line spool capacity is very small but repacing the preloaded spools is very quick and easy.
I think the manufacturer should include spare preloaded strimmer line spools. They are not dear to buy and would not add much to the purchase price. It doesnt state clearly what size of line fits the strimmer head. The website is a time waster. Contacting Hyundai is difficult. Having said all that, I am a Hyundai fan. (I have several products.) All the products are well designed, the build quality is good and represents excelent value for money. My own strimmer has a fault would you believe? (faulty switch) Amazon immediately issued a collection note and refund. I’m not bothered, I have confidence in Hyundai products and I have ordered a new replacement strimmer.
This is no lightweight, but it comes with a shoulder strap to help with that. It is the most powerful strimmer I have used, including 2 petrol ones. I saw a review that complained that it wasn’t swivel-headed, it doesn’t need that as it is well balanced when turned on its side – eg for lawn edging – and it seems designed for that, the way the cutting head works. It is a bit more thirsty on the battery than the lawn-mower or maybe I was having so much fun I didn’t notice how long I had been using it. I really like it.
Good quality strimmer. Slightly heavier than expected. Assembly/Instruction manual could be clearer but otherwise seems to be a good product. Not had the strimmer long enough to be able to give a good idea of battery life.

Used for trimming the edges of my lawn before mowing, the unit comes with a round the neck harness which helps balance the strimmer as you are cutting. Powerful and effective for my light to medium tasks. Battery life fine for what I needed, and recharging time is fine.

Bought this mainly because I have a cordless Hyundai mower so I have two identical 40 volt batteries. Unfortunately, I now have a spare charger which I will probably never use! Ideal for bush clearing and cutting grass in awkward spaces that the mower can’t reach. However it isn’t ideal for edging – has no ‘wheel’ and doesn’t flip 90 degrees like my old mains powered Ryobi. This said, it’s solidly made, not too heavy and great not having a wire attached. I strimmed for fifteen minutes and the battery didn’t lose a light.
