This a great addition to every small workshop and garage.
Very quite compressor. Runs around 7.5bar – 4.5CFM. Which is great for my MAKITA AF506 50MM FIRST FIX AIR NAIL GUN. Looking for a spray gun may not be that easy with the CFM.

Purchased to spray my fence panels, have tried other smaller hand sprayers but not effective. Have spray gun, Tyre pressure attachment. Will now invest in a sand blaster attachment to compliment the accessories for it
Very compact and quiet to use and store.

I need some kind of nailing system and rather than the battery options I read the specifications for this compressor and decided to get one. Best move I ever made. It so quiet and ready out of the box. It offers great performance and portability but packs a punch. I now use it with a Brad nailer and pin nailer and have had no issue with keeping up with a rapid nailing rate.
A great compressor and from a good pedigree so should be super reliable.

    Space Saving. Lovely and quiet.

    Bad Points
I run out of air a little too often but that is not a criticism of the compressor. Just think I should have bought the larger model.

It’s a small compressor and just what I needed I just can’t believe how quiet it is and how little it vibrates I don’t use a lot of compressed air mainly for cleaning out scroll saw cuts this is just the job. Would throughly recommend this compresso

This seems to be a small but very robust machine. Deceptively heavy due to its stature.

    Yet to use it.

I think the instructions could be better and more in depth. Having to duplicate online seems rather pointless, but I found necessary to learn more about the machine.

The final thing is that Hyundai or the manufacturer could at least double the length of the main power lead. This proves very restricted and reliant on extension lead.

    Very very strong.

Good little compressor. But the on off switch is so tight. I nearly sent it back as it wouldn’t turn on without a very hard pull. My fear is this will lead to a switch failure. Other than tha a nice little unit for airbrushing.

My main reason for purchasing this compressor was for bike and car tires, along with cleaning power tools etc. Its a portable unit and the noise level is very acceptable. I’m very happy with my choice, especially at this price. Spent another 30 on some accessories that do the trick

Like I said in my review it’s not the best quality,
It doesn’t come with any additional components like a hose or any other tools previously I have bought one and it has come with a pump, a gun for spraying and a hose
The first one I got was damaged and bits were falling of ie a metal box with electrical bits in it
I screwed on the breathing pipe and that fell apart in my hand.
I’ve used it this morning to pump up tyres on my MTB and it seems to be ok .
    It is quite

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCompressed air is the best air. And this compact compressor from Hyundai fills an important niche in the market.

I don’t need compressed air often. And when I do, I don’t need a lot of it. But for those instances this well made little unit really ticks all the boxes

It’s super quiet. It’s also small and light enough to be easy to store and carry around. More than enough power and capacity to top up car and motorcycle tyres. Add a blow gun and it makes short work of all sorts of cleaning tasks. Also good for light finish nailing and stapling.

Not designed or intended for heavy duty industrial use. If you’re spraying paint or doing construction nailing you’ll need a bigger compressor. But this lovely little unit from Hyundai will keep your car tyres at perfect pressure and do a sterling job at dust removal without deafening you or annoying the neighbours.

Five out of five for its intended purpose.

Overall an excellent product. Very quiet indeed while filling and in use. Compact and ideal for workshop uses such as spraying small areas, blow-guns, pinning and stapling. No oil required is an additional bonus. My only issue is the stupidly short mains cable (just 800mm). If the machine is on the floor the cable won’t reach mid-height workshop sockets and if it’s on the bench it won’t reach the ceiling mounted ones either! I will replace it but I shouldn’t have to. It would cost next to nothing for the manufacturers to double the cable provided and deliver a full 5-star product.

I like this,it does exactly what it supposed to do.Powerful, easy to use .Now for a few points. The start switch was stuck in OFF but a zap of wd40 soon fixed that, the plug lead is way too short it’s ridiculous, and it gets hot after a while so I’ve had to replace the lead with a longer one and this stays cold ,I’m not sure but maybe such a short lead could effect the flow of current either way it needs to be longer.I had to buy a air line and air gun to use this costing me more money.Apart from these snags it’s a good little compressor for its price I’m happy with it.

I wanted this for my shop, so didn’t want something that was really loud. To be honest, I think my coffee maker actually makes more noise that this compressor.
It’s small enough to be able to move it about if you need to, and has rubber anti-vibration feet, so doesn’t transmit noise that way.
Probably from empty to full only takes a minute or so, and then stops.
Have to say, perfect so far. Also comes with a good guarantee (but hoping not to have to use it).

Have to be careful about unprotected boxes catching on hose.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis Compressor was a little more noisy than I expected but far better than the large compressor we use for big jobs.
We wanted a smaller unit to drive a couple of very small air valves and it does this great.
It would have been far better if it came with an air regulator and moisture trap.
As many people have reported the mains lead is far too short but it is easy to change.
Also the On/Off switch is far too stiff to use. We could virtually pick up the compressor beofre it released. We followed the advice of other users and removed 3 tabs at different points around the circumference. Operation was then perfect.

This is much quieter than my previous compressor BUT the power cable is ridiculously short. If it came with an air line I would not have had to purchase one seperately but I knew that when purchasing. Overall happy so far.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat a great little compressor I bought eight litre because i wanted to be able too move it around with ease.
It is super quite and gets up to working pressure quickly but one of the best things i think is that the manufacture has faith in its products and gives it a two year warranty, thats means a lot to me so i was willing too pay a little more and buy this product. Thanks Hyundai you have made my day by supplying a quality product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this on recommendation from a YouTube video. Amazingly quiet, very portable, yes the cable is short but why does that matter? Got mine from Amazon warehouse and was as good as new, but saved me almost 50! Used with Silverline air nailer, great combination for diy work, cheap set of air accessories from Amazon to go with it, all in all about 160 for a good air nailer set up with + 5000 brads of various length. Highly recommend this quiet compressor.

This is the best air compressor I’ve ever had, it’s about as loud as my new washing machine, I could have a phone conversation right next to it. Easy to carry and it fills fast.

Previously is had a 500 belt driven air compressor until it dropped its oil. This new 150 compressor is much better for my engineering and spray painting needs. Might not have a big enough tank for an orbital sander.

Being a complete novice, I was so worried about buying the right air compressor for a staple gun. However, after much research I bought this one as it was fairly quiet (an important consideration for me) and it seemed to be powerful enough for a staple gun. I have to say I am very pleased with this compressor and although it may look intimidating to a beginner, it is very easy to use out of the box if you read the instructions. I bought the coiled hose to go with it and a Tacwise staple gun. Made my hobby upholstery job a breeze. Happy customer.

Great little compressor. Fills the 8 litre tank very quickly and doesn’t make too much noise doing it. You need to check the CFM (cubic feet per minute) of the tools you want to use, this is 4 CFM so certainly won’t run most spray guns or air nibblers but is fine for nail guns, inflating tyres and occasional air wrench use. For the kind of light use I need, it’s perfect.

This is my first foray into compressors and I could not be more happy. I searched high and low for the perfect unit but the noise level and price were dealbreakers for the other brands. This unit is great value for money and whilst it’s not super silent like the branding suggests, it’s super silent in comparison to the competitors and in this price range it’s a no brainer.

I thought long and hard about whether to go for one that has a higher CFM (FAD; actual available air) but thought I’d take a punt anyway and I’m glad I did. It fires up easily and quickly and has plenty of power. I intend to use it with a nail gun. It’s lightweight too.

The only negative is that it doesn’t have a pressure regulator but these are easily sourced although I’m having a hard time finding the correct union.

Don’t hesitate, just buy it and you will not regret it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWas reluctant at first to purchase this air compressor as I wasn’t sure whether it would be refilling all the time when used at a non professional level in the home for finish and trim projects with various nail guns. With my finish and brad air nailers it refills remarkably infrequently (@70 psi) and with my Bostitch coil framing nailer as you would expect a bit more frequently (@90 psi). My old 150 psi air compressor was so loud it would traumatize our cat every time it kicked in to refill, with this compressor it is just pure joy on his ears (and mine). If you want this for non professional advanced home DIY use with various air nailers/staplers, even with the stupidly short power cord I would not hesitate to recommend it, this is the compressor unicorn you have been looking for.

Very quiet powerful little machine. Ideal for nail gun, blowing dust of workshop machinery and small hobby spray jobs. Also works well blowing car tyres up. Not as noisy as a tumble drier, fills up and cuts off very fast. Portable and fairly light to carry. Great for a small garage workshop or to take onsite. Low vibration and sits on the end of my work bench perfectly. Maintenance free. Lovely little addition to my collection. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter struggling along with cheap compressors, which either didn’t have sufficient “Oomph” or were way too noisy, I finally decided to buy a proper compressor. As I drive a Hyundai electric car I chose this compressor, not really out of brand loyalty
but mainly due to the excellent reviews and very good price.
It arrived quickly and was set up immediately (this entails screwing in the air filter and plugging it in!) I was pleasantly surprised when it actually fit in the space below my desk and just how quiet it is, especially compared to my last ‘budget German supermarket’ one.
I can now airbrush away all hours of day and night in my living room, without any complaint from my long suffering wife. (If she’s happy then everyone’s happy! )
For just a few pounds more than a cheap little, frustratingly poor quality, compressor this Hyundai is head and shoulders into a new level and is capable of so much more than I will ever use it for.
    Happy Hyundai customer yet again…..

There are a lot of options for compressors of this size and type but I am pleased with the choice I made. It’s powerful for a compact machine and fits neatly under my workbench. As it has two cylinders, this compressor halves the workload of alternative single cylinder models I’ve used and is subsequently much quieter whilst managing to produce consistent air pressure.

I use mine mainly for airbrush painting and it’s more than capable. I suspect it will easily drive much harder working tools than this without issues. Operating it is simple with well presented controls and easy to read gauge. The large air tank also eases the workload on the cylinders further reducing any noise as it isn’t running constantly to feed your air tools.

It’s clear this compressor is well made, feels like good quality and definitely does what I wanted it to do and more.

To me this represents really good value from a well known brand, it arrived quickly, very well packaged and without issues.

I’d happily recommend this machine especially for use inside, where portability, power and quiet operation is important. A good buy!

The compressor arrived with a badly bent air filter. Pliers were applied to bend it in approximately back in to shape and it was pushed back in position.

It seems to work fine and isn’t that noisy when building up pressure in the air tank, but its not silent.

The main flaw is the red On/Off button on top … it’s a push/pull switch…pull up for On…. when pulling up on the switch the whole compressor lifts off the ground! ….and yet it still doesn’t switch On….I have to hold the compressor down with my foot while pulling up on the switch…. incredible how this could have passed design review.

I was looking for a compressor for some time, something compact for occasional use. this little fella is not power horse to run heavy equipment or have large tank to give unlimited supply. But is compact and lightweight to store in a corner to use with blow gun and air brush. It’s nice and quiet with gentle humming coming out when topping up the air. Can’t fault it.

Purchased mainly becouse of advertised low noise – it’s really quiet, while compressor is working you can talk without raising voice, it’s so quiet 🙂
In 1 minute from 0 to full pressure. Motor is getting warm quickly, but should whitstand when used with common sense – probably won’t be good for prolonged continuous use, as motor might overheat but for odd days use should be sufficient.
Bypassing temperature there’s one more thing which could be annoying: when pressure shitch turning off motor, release valve makes quite specific noise – probably could be fixed with replacing whole pressure switch to older type which turns off motor like light switch.
Weight is ok with me, quite small, and fits nicely in places, where metal jerry can can fit.

Had few Drapper and other Oil/Oil free 8L small compressors over the years, they were very loud compared to this.
95db to 65db, whisper quiet that is what I like about this one. only thing missing compared to the others are the pressure adjustment ( where you can set a desired output pressure , not all 7bars coming out when in use) and the length of the power lead. which I had to change. It is still early days but if it last it will be a good choice.

As I bought this as an airbrush compressor it was a bit over the top but I need to future proof myself as I am coming up to retirement and have geared up to a new hobby making plastic model aircraft kits.
This compressor is above and beyond my expectations the power is very good compared to my old airbrush compressor which is half the size and to replace that it wouldn’t be a little cheaper than to buy this one but only half as good.
For airbrushing you will need to but a few extras…
    1.A Regulator/water trap.
    2. Some adapters
    3.PTFE tape
4.An extra bit of strong hoze from compressor to Regulator/water trap unless like me you just put it on direct.
It’s very quiet for it’s type (the smaller ones specifically for airbrushing by other manufacturers are a tad quieter but lack in power) but for what it is it’s very quiet and less noisy than a hairdryer.
The price is not much more expensive than the compressors that are made specifically for airbrushing and in some cases a lot cheaper.
If using in the home make sure the is space for it as it is quite big, it’s designed more for the garage
It’s vibration can be felt through a wooden floor but is not that bad really because it only takes about 20 seconds to top up when the air depletes.
I usually use it during the night and for airbrushing small models a tank will last me all night so I just switch it off until the next day

There is an added bonus, is that I can fit a tyre pump to it and do all my tyre pressure’s also it will take a large paint spray gun if I wanted to respray my car or motor bike.

Eventually I end up buying a better product then the first and hit the top with this compressor, the same thing happened with airbrushes I started with cheaper inferior ones and I always end up replacing them with good ones which is false economy.
I highly recommend this compressor after using it for about a week now.

I use the compressor for airbrushing, and bought the necessary airline adapters separately to suit as it comes as standard with a quick release fitting for air tools and spray guns.
I already had a smaller compressor that struggles to maintain selected air pressure on larger jobs, causing uneven paint distribution and ‘splattering’. This unit provides continuous even pressure, and does so with a minimal amount of noise
