Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Electric Multi Functional Cooker – Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Sauté, Sterilizer, Yogurt Maker, Sous Vide – Black Stainless Steel, 1200 W, 5.7L
I had the first old model for 5 years or so and I absolutely love Instant pot. If you buy one kitchen appliance this should be the one. This new model has added handles on the pot which makes things much easier. Not that I ever minded having the old one without handles. And the other improvement is the bottom of the pot is flat which makes sauting so much easier.
I am excited to try the few extra functions such as sous vide and yoghurt but so far it is brilliant as always!
By the way my old one is still working and in perfect working condition so now I have 2 to use
The operation of the appliance is well automated once it is set up but the set up is complicated with little buttons with illegible labels and a knob for adjustments. It would have been easier without trying to link controls to types of recipes, e.g. soups.
I bought it to replace an old saucepan type pressure cooker with expensive spares which I found difficult to control on new electric hob and it does a better job.
I Love, love my instant pot. I throw everything into it, onions, garlic, meats and viola 20 mins later I have a lovely delicious stew. I’ve made a delicious dhal, I’ve cooked rice in it, sautd stuff. I love how you can just press the button and leave it to do the rest. The pressure cooker is so silent you actually think it’s doing nothing, until when the meat comes out so soft and tender, makes such a difference to the old and noisy pressure cookers.
It is a L size with 5.7L container. I find it very useful to cook soup, stew, Rice etc…..There are programmes for lots of cooking method and computerise to make it cook for you. it really save up a lot of my time. it is easy to clean after use as well. Really a good helper in kitchen.
I wish I had bought an Instant Pot years ago. I love how easy this instant pot evo duo plus 10 in 1 is. The inner pot is high quality stainless steel with silicone handles, it can be used on a stove top, easy to clean. The I P is easy to use, clean and food turns out delicious. Pretty silent and much safer to use in comparison to non electric pressure cookers. I love the large display screen and additional ice cooler, an extra buy, to cool down the pressure cooker when finished, if you want to cool it down without using the quick release button/switch and do not have time/or want to wait for a natural release of stream/natural cool down. This instant pot is well thought out, designed and made with quality. I would highly recommend it.
Received today, tried 3 recipes from on line, 2 disasters, 1 ok. For me there lies the bug bear, this product does not come with even a basic recipe/cooking book! I am WFPB and I am REALLY struggling to find a decent recipe guide (especially for UK Market) to go along with this Excellent kitchen gadget. I am going to persevere, try adapt tried and tested recipes to make them Instant Pot usable, but I really feel there is a HUGE gap in the market with this machine. If anyone who reads this review knows of a WFBP Instant pot recipe book For UK users, OR Feels they can provide one please do let me know!!
Have been using this for a month now and got to say that this is really efficient and easy to use. The saut (esp at high) is quite tricky as you need to be there and watch it but otherwise it is more of a load it, close it and forget it kinda prouduct without having to worry about overcooking of not turning it off. I like the fact that the vegetables dont get really mushy and retains the shape even after cooking it and based on the current usage thus far, this is a wonderful and helpful appliance and a definite for all the cooking enthusiasts.
I do not feel my instant pot is safe, sometimes it will not seal and the steam just keeps coming out of the valve. The company sent me a new part for the top but it is still doing the same thing and my wife is now afraid to use it. Great item when working properly.
Easy to setup and use.
Brought it mainly to cook rice but made chicken noodle soup in it the other day and it turned out perfect
Going to try new recipes involving slow cooking and am sure they would turn delicious
I use this for decarboxylation of cannabis by sous vide. It works a treat and it cant be set too hot for this.
It’s also a great cooker. I havent used all of the functions but 5 stars all the way so far.
This product is hands down the most useful thing I have bought for the kitchen in years. The ability to saut meat and onions in the pan and then put it on the slow cook or even the pressure cook function is an incredible time saver and produces really flavoursome food-excellent. Curries, stews, soups, whole chickens- brilliant.
Robert Wang, if you read this, you have changed my kitchen forever.
Your pot is absolutely outstanding.
I would absolutely love to see more designs and styles to fit a counter top placement aesthetic rather than feeling like I need to bury this back in my drawer. Ideally would love to see an all black model.
Thank you for an amazing creation and being so amazing.
you almost need a class to be able to use this pot. Lol!! No, but once you get it locked down, its easy. Makes my life so much easier since i got it. Cant wait to make some oxtail in it.
Versatile and easy to operate. Multitude recipes and cuisine available to try. Useful App from Instant Pot to get familiar with its options and settings. Trust your instincts on cooking times which will get better as the more it’s used. Slowly becoming our go-to cooking pot for almost all what we make.
Early days yet, but so far we have been quite impressed with our new kitchen device. So far, we’ve limited our experiments to the Saut and Pressure Cooker functions. However, both of these have been relatively successful, producing tasty stews in a fraction of the time one would normally need.
Just the best thing ever….
You can cook from scratch or heat things up just the same as a microwave…. Make the best yoghurt or even wine… And spare ribs are out of this world
For quite a long time I toyed with the idea of buying a pressure cooker. Then my slow cooker broke down. After some research I found the instant pot. I could have a slow cooker/pressure cooker/grain cooker in one. Yes a lot of money for a kitchen gadget, but sooo worth it. I have used this nearly every day since I got it. At first I was a little daunted, but the controls are quite intuitive and aren’t nearly as complicated as they may look. I downloaded a few cookbooks. There are lots of special instant pot cookbooks available.
Since then I boiled the best rice. I cooked barley softer and faster than ever. I made pasta and sauce all in one, which is very convenient on a busy work day. I stewed pears, made apple sauce, and cooked beans and legumes in a fraction of the time it usually takes. I also steamed some veg.
The flavours are great.
The inner pot with handles is great and easily kept clean. I intend do make some sweet baked stuff in it as well but I cannot say anything till I try it. This buy was a wonderful treat during lockdown, when one cannot spend much money, and I reckon I will always want one of these.
There are controls on it which I may never use, such as sous vide and yoghurt as I have a yoghurt maker, but this instant pot is still worth it. Buy it, use it, love it!
This is an awesome and must buy product from Amazon . Excellent quality. Cooking life had completely changed after using the hot pot. Very easy , quick ,clean ,tasty ,consistent cooking . Numerous options to cook . Cooking from frozen is just awesome. Quietly it does it’s job. If some want to give a gift to your wife , give this please .
Wonderful. Very easy to use. The inner pot has handles making it much easier to take out than the previous versions. The digital screen is large and easy to use. Love it!
So easy to use and the results are amazing. The best ribs / dinner in no time. Also started using the Sous Vide function – perfectly cooked chicken breast, finished off on a griddle to give it char, makes a perfect chicken burger.
Well designed piece of kit – and soooo many recipes/advice available on line
Just an awesome machine. If there is a downside it is the lack of instructions in the box and online but it’s great fun learning how absolutely versatile it is. There are plently of third party videos to follow. Weve made so much from soup to an amazing cheesecake and only just touched on its abilities. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing gadget with multi tasking abilities. Very easy to use. Very quite. Easy to clean. Cooks perfectly. I have been using the pressure cooking function most of the time and am impressed. I normally prefer the ‘manual functions’ for any machinery that I use. However, this machine’s ‘pre-set’ timers are very reliable so you can deactivate the brain cells while cooking and you can focus on something else! Buy one and be a satisfied cook.
We love this tool!
Sous vide comes out perfectly. Rice comes out just as good as from the dedicated rice cookers we had in Viet Nam. Slow cooked boeuf bourguignon is just divine from this.
So happy we bought it!
Excellent. Easy to use. Loads of recipes on line, So far I am very happy with my purchase. Downside is the lack of a steamer basket and a decent trivit. But then that’s the Barbie doll marketing system. They sell you one thing so they can sell you extras. Don’t bother with the apps you will find the on screen marketing irritating.
Great results when used and easy to clean but you don’t get any instructions at all, how the heck are you supposed to get the best out of it when they don’t even tell you the basics of the many different types of cooking it can perform . Poor show.
I’m impressed with this. I wanted the larger model but it was out of stock until April. This is 5.6 litres but that is enough for 3kg of beef so this one will work. It has 10 functions that I’ll never use. The saut function is good for searing meat or softening onions before cooking, then using the pressure cooker is probably all I’ll ever use it for. It makes very tender beef that literally falls apart. 3kg took about an hour and a half to cook. I’m happy with the instant pot for this alone. You can then sterilise it by steaming water in it for cleaning. You need to be careful if you manually release the steam, but that is pretty obvious. It does take up a bit of counter space, but is easy to move for storage.
Love this machine so much. Saves time on cooking meals that would normally takes 4-6 hours into 40 minutes. Amazing flavours and meat that falls apart. Would definitely recommend
Easy to clean stainless steel pot but if you use it for thick stews you’ll find the ‘burn’ error come up every time and the base will need to be scrubbed with a scouring pad to get rid of the burnt mess on the bottom.
Very easy to set and use with lots of settings and a delay timer function.
Is it worth twice as much as my Lidl pressure cooker which never burned until the non stick came off after 7 years of regular use? No it’s not but it’s still a good pressure cooker. I have 3 electric pressure cookers.
I have used the instant pot for the first time after purchasing it months ago, little did I know that the instant pot has a Saute function, so no need to get the pan out before mixing those spices before placng all your main ingredients.
I made butternut squash and lentil curry (credit to rainbow plant life) and it was absolutely amazing, to the point where the food critics (family) were amazed and normally I would hear something is missing, glad I purchased it as the instant pot has taken away the hard work and time out of cooking complex dishes.
Another point to remember is that the instant pot shouldn’t be stored with it’s lid on, I realised this after doing some youtube searches on how to clean, some “things not to do with your instant pot” videos are the obvious, but if using a pressure cooker for the first time, I would reccommend you take a moment just to watch and.
The product is overall good. Very convenient and considerate.
But I cooked twice and both time the rice burned. Probably because I eat alone and don’t use enough rice.
I think that the InstaPot Duo Evo Plus 5.7L is a really useful kitchen tool for frying, stewing, pressure cooking, and slow cooking. It has worked for me without problems for over 6 months. Food cooks quickly, the InstaPot is easy to clean, and it is easy to operate.I use it for:
Pressure Cooking Vegetables: my main use.
Frying meats and browning vegetables.
Stews.
Eggs: so dependable for boiling (pressure cooking in fact) eggs.
Making Ghee (from butter, not youghurt).
I have made Ghee in Pots, and Slow Cookers before. I make Ghee quicker and easier in the InstaPot.
In the past I’ve tended to buy a kitchen gadget (juicer, food mixer, air fryer to name but 3) use it for a few weeks then put it away and forget about it. This purchase was my first pressure cooker and I was a bit scared to use it at first. Experimented first with butter beans which came out tender very quickly. Then Chinese pork belly, then yogurt, then neck of lamb. It cooks so well and so quickly. There is no mess and leaves the oven free to make other dishes. I absolutely love it.
My wife loves this instant pot and I can say with all honesty its the best pressy I’ve ever bought her as I benefit from what she makes in it 🙂
If your new to these modern pressure/multi cookers its worth buying a couple good cookbooks designed for them, the misses has learnt a lot more from those than the included instructions.
modern and stylish. above all very safe to use than traditional cookers. Did notice better flavours as the it seals the flavour in the pot while cooking. Evo plus has built in programs for different items which makes it even more easier to operate. Highly recommended and must have for a modern kitchen !
I use this at least twice a week. It’ll cook white rice in 3 mins (plus natural release). I used boiling water to help speed up the sealing time. Have make loads of yoghurt too, and used the slow Cook function. Pressure cooking makes ribs fall off the bone in 45 mins and pulled pork in a little over an hour.
This one is so easy to clean and use. I tried frozen chicken and it makes shredded chicken in minutes – yet the flavor won’t be as good as a slow cooker. I bought this to replace my slow cooker + sous vide. Never tried the sous vide yet I’ll update once I try.
Is there anything this thing won’t cook! You really can do pretty much anything in this pot!
I tried the sous vide setting, and just used some Ziplock bags. OMG by far the best steak I have ever cooked!
Like I said cook pretty much anything!
After you have Sous Vide you steaks, empty the water and the give the steaks some colour using the saut function!
Mum’s know best……. that’s what my mum said. Well she was correct when I told her I had bought an Instant Pot cooker.
This is so easy to use, and there are so many websites, youtubes and other site for recipes to try. Everything from Risotto, Coq au Vin to curry’s come out perfectly in the Instant Pot.
I have now started converting my own recipes into Instant Pot recipes, all with complete success.
Using the various preset functions make it so easy. I made soup the other day, just perfect homemade soup in a few minutes.
Enables you to get cheaper cuts of meat and cook them to perfection, succulent tasty meals.
I convert most recipes down to a two serving size. I was worried about the size of this as it states it’s good for family sized meals. But I have had no issues with reducing the recipes I have found.
I have even cooked a couple of really nice vegan dishes in the Instant Pot.
If you have Kindle Unlimited, there are so many cook books you can skim through and choose the ones you like.
One of the best things about the instant Pot is, it’s do easy to clean, alway a massive bonus!
If you are in any doubt if you should buy one, just go for it, I don’t think you will regret it!
I have been a little wary of using a pressure cooker and this one at last ticks the boxes for addressing all safety concerns. A sensible 10 y.o. can master it and be safe.
This Evo Plus is an excellent pressure cooker with many settings and adjustability. Build quality feels quite good.
The biggest factor for me in its favour is the aluminium pot which is less susceptible to damage (nicks from bones, acidic foods etc.) and easy to clean without having to worry about damaging a flimsy non-stick (possibly toxic) coating.
The Instant Pot is a superbly made piece of kit which has thoroughbred thinking, design and manufacture. This quality means it isn’t light. The safety features are very reassuring indeed.
It will do all the things it says. I use the pressure cooker most which is excellent, no shrieks of steam, or rattling on the heat. just a simple easy read control panel and it does the job quietly. Extraordinary range of settings.and invites trying new methods, recipes and learning more about cooking.
You need to get a recipe book as it takes time to learn as the brochure is basic.
I bought this to make soup, curry and Japanese rice for sushi! I recently bought the lid and the stainless steel pot accessories. If you’re looking to cook Japanese rice, I strongly recommend you to get the stainless steel pot. Both accessories can be washed in the dishwasher.
I’ve been cooking with this constantly since it arrived and love it. Especially now it’s getting colder as it’s great for making soups and stews but It’s also great for cooking meat. There’s still loads of functions I haven’t tried yet but I highly recommend buying one of these. Even the pan is such a good quality nothing sticks to it at all and is really easy to clean.
I don’t understand how I lived before without Instant Pot, without pressure cooker :D. Kitchen life is now much easier. 2 lb pork is tender and falling apart in 1 hour, instead of regular oven which takes 4-5 hours to make it how I want. A lot of pre-set programs which can be used also, but everything can be set manually. There are a lot recipes on internet. We are family of 5, so 6 qt might be a little bit small if you want to make something for 2 days, for example. First impression was- oh God, its so small, but after all its okay, because I don’t need to spend so much time in the kitchen and now I can make food every day and it doesn’t take so much time which it would be without the Instant Pot.
I ordered IP in Amazon packaging and it came in a thick cardboard box and it was original IP packaging. This was good because IP was kept safe and didn’t have any scratches nor did it have any dents in it. It was in perfect condition.
It offers a lot of options. So far I have used the soup, porridge and the saute function. Pleased to know that I can pan fry the food with the saute option. It was a bit confusing for me to work out the buttons but so far it has been very safe to use this cooker. It can take a relatively longer time to have the pressure naturally released from the cooker if you are cooking a lot of vegetables in soup.
Hi, I’ve purchased Evo Duo for my own birthday. I understand it a new model an feel excited to discover the function. Only one thing of my current concern is some cooking smell of the lid even after washing. I would like to find a way to keep the lid smell free.
Its my third pressure cooker and my second Instant Pot. I have a Tower one I now use for soup etc. I have the duo that mainly gets used for deserts, but this is by far and away the best of the lot. The handles on the pot make life so much easier to remove from the base even just after cooking. Its so easy to program. Pressure release is much less scary for her in doors as well. I think this and the Vortex with a microwave is all you need in the kitchen.
It’s OK, but honesty, I think anyone who has even a passing interest in cooking will find it fairly limiting
I got on on treasure truck for 80, and it’s ok. For 130 I would have been disappointed.
The headline cook times for things are impressive (eg 4 mins for rice), but by the time you’ve added a 10 minute warm up, it’s not generally that much faster than the hob.
Most of the recipes in the app include jar sauces, or other pre-prepared items.
I will probably try pressure / water canning at some point, but that’s the only this it does that I couldn’t do before.
If I could only keep one of this and my cast iron pan, it would be the cast iron every day.
I have used It for pressurecooking largely , the possibility to watch the progress of cooking plus being able to turn off keeping warm function is great. Also, the quality of the pan is better than the earlier models , easier to clean.
What a fantastic unit, easy-to-use, easy to clean, reduces the amount of items needed in the kitchen, all round fantastic. Congratulations on a product well made.
I’m totally in love with my Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus! I haven’t had it long but have already used it to make stews, korma, thai curry, mashed potato, bone broth and more.
It’s such a time saver as it cooks food in a fraction of the time it would take if I were to use the hob or the oven.
The saut function is really handy for browning meat and onions before pressure cooking and also for reducing sauces.
The stainless steel pot is easy to clean and the heatproof handles make it super easy to move around (I don’t know how people ever managed with the handle free version on the older models!)
The new style steam vent seal and release system was a real selling point for me that has lived up to my expectations. As you twist the lid to close, it automatically switches the vent to ‘seal’ which is handy for someone that is as forgetful as me! This is currently the only Instant Pot model that has a dedicated quick release switch which is situated away from the steam vent. This means you can quickly vent the steam from the pressurised pot without having to put your hand anywhere near the steam. It makes it so much less scary to use than an old style pressure cooker!
Another plus is that it has a much smaller footprint than I was expecting so it doesn’t take up too much of the already limited space I have on my kitchen counter. Even so, the internal pot is still a really good size so batch cooking isn’t an issue.
It has way more settings on it than I’m ever likely to use but the menu is easy to navigate and it’s nice to have the options available.
I really am very impressed with this fantastic device and I’m pleased, after much researching, that I settled on this particular make and model.
Love it! Don’t know how I have survived without IP Duo Evo until now. I love one pot cooking and this thing is absolutely essential to make it an easy and enjoyable cooking experience. Love it and highly recommend. Its worth every penny.
Really useful but you do need to spend time using proven recipes before experimenting. Now that i am used to it, it is an invaluable piece of kit in the kitchen.
The best pressure cooker to date. I was unsure at first about using it but its saved me so much time in the kitchen especially with being pregnant and alot of food smells is making me feel sick this instant pot is amazing I love it. Most definitely one of the best things I’ve brought.
What can I say? Add a bit of water, a whole chicken; then come back to a cooked chicken that’s falling off of the bone!
I contemplated buying this against Sage’s “fast slow pro” and the Ninja Foodi.
I rulled the Ninja out as I didn’t think messing with dual lids and greasy air frying to be an actual benefit.
Personally I think the sage looks 100x better and it’s auto steam release is attractive, but ultimately reviews of non-stick coatings peeling off and and a cheap plastic control front spoiled it.
Instapot’s stainless steel pot (which can be used on a stove) and extras for sale sold it for me.
Cleaning is easy but there is a teeny tiny silicone cap to the pressure seal that would easily fit down our sink! I’m surprised they give you 2 large lid seals (one for sweets /savory) and none of these small cap seals?
Easy to use and clean. Still working our way through the various options. Wish they had provided a starter resume book, particularly since there are small nuances in how other Instant Pot Evo recipes need to be translated to this one (which heats up faster)
Never pressure cooked before or had an instant pot. Now I’m in love, it is amazing. Awsome quality, form, and function. So easy, so quick and simple to make fast delicious food. A+++
This is an upgrade to my Duo and I love it! Handles on the inner pot are great, not only for lifting the liner in and out, they also stop the liner swivelling in saut mode. The vent automatically goes to sealing, so no more accidental failing to reach pressure because the operator left it on venting! Love the new display and vastly increased functionality – especially the sous vide function, it works amazingly well, holding the temperature of the water bath accurately for the whole cooking time. The stainless steel liner is absolutely fine but I prefer ceramic so it will be great when that becomes available, liners from earlier models are not compatible.
Everything about it is great easy to use great for doing rice and dried bean’s having said that, that bit is a bit of trial and error with the Qty you use don’t think about it just GET IT you won’t regret i
Just bought it and if I remember in a couple of weeks because I’m forgetful, I’ll give an update..
So far so good!
Love i

Thing is great to cook, steam, bake etc. Making souses and soups, everything taste great, vegetables don’t loose any goodness.

I bought it to replace an old saucepan type pressure cooker with expensive spares which I found difficult to control on new electric hob and it does a better job.
A great accessory to my kitchen! Made my life so much easier. Probably, I should’ve bought an extra inner pot for more flexibility.
Love it. Very easy cooking and food tastes amazing. Meat is so tender.
I Love, love my instant pot. I throw everything into it, onions, garlic, meats and viola 20 mins later I have a lovely delicious stew. I’ve made a delicious dhal, I’ve cooked rice in it, sautd stuff. Excellent worth every penny. Easy to use and flavors are great.
Flavour is fantastic, meat super tender, vegetables lovely and soft. One of my best buys off of amazo

Happiest I’ve seen the wife for ages, should’ve bought one years ago!
It’s so easy to cook great tasting meals in the instant pot. It’s definitely revolutionised my cooking onboard a boat with a small galley.

Bought this to replace a faulty King Pro pressure cooker what an excellent unit.
Simple to use easy to clean would definately recommend

It was easy to use and to clean. I cooked red kidney beans curry the flavours of the curry was
This is an amazing gadget with multi tasking abilities.
Wish I had bought it earlier .
They should have made it dishwasher compatible
My work has become so easy after getting this instant pot. Especially the handle makes it easier to take it out when hot. Overall great pot.
I love my instant pot I use it all the time it makes cooking so much easier and the food is amazing.
I’ve had the previous model for years and recently upgraded to this one. Couldn’t be happier!
Definitely reccommend
Amazing! Cuts down on time and the flavours are so much bette
The product is overall good. Very convenient and considerate.
But I cooked twice and both time the rice burned. Probably because I eat alone and don’t use enough rice.
There is nothing I dislike about the instant pot I love the ease of use the readable digital panel and how quick it heats up to how easy it is to clea
Excellent product. Only downside is the time it takes to remove all the parts and clean which can take up a lot of drying space in a small kitchen.
Does hundred of different dishes – All very tasty – Important in the kitche
Highly recommend the product. Very high quality, easy to use and ultra fast delivery.
Great fast cooking, no cleaning mess and the meat comes out so tender and easy to pull!
Amazing product you can do so many things with, we use it almost everyday!
modern and stylish. above all very safe to use than traditional cookers.
It opens the door to new ways of cooking.
It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
Our first pressure cooker. Great quality, great support community. You won’t be disappointed
Not used all the cooking methods but have loved the results of the pressure cooker, saute, stew.
Ideal for quick slow cook veggie meals. Not great for baking as I’ve tried a few times and it’s not worked out right. Saut feature is also really good
Makes cooking easier and quicker. Would recommend, especially if you do not have time to cook. Plenty of recipes online and on their app.
We ordered the Duo Evo Plus to replace an older model we had. Works very well and easy to use. Quite big, but useful kitchen tool
Great pressure cooker- Easy to use and the steel liner is safer for health than my old non-stick coated one.
I have used It for pressurecooking largely , the possibility to watch the progress of cooking plus being able to turn off keeping warm function is great. Also, the quality of the pan is better than the earlier models , easier to clean.
A fantastic piece of kit.. I am really enjoying using the latest version of Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus.
Pasts included, see photos.
Stainless steel pot measured internally 140mm high and 215mm internal diameter.

Easy to operate with clear onscreen instructions. A boon in the kitchen!
Now I understand why everyone says “why didn’t I buy it before?” Totally agree!
Look forward to using it more.
A very good product until this point of use. Hope to be the same in the future!
Everything about it is great easy to use great for doing rice and dried bean’s having said that, that bit is a bit of trial and error with the Qty you use don’t think about it just GET IT you won’t regret i
I am a beginner in cooking
This product is very helpful in controlling temperature and easy to use
Super easy to make indian recepies, hardly use my gas stove anymore.
I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s amazing! Best Buy . I bought my mum one too and she loves i
