Does what it says
Water was squirting out from top of main body when first used. Assumed it just needed the head tightening but it was tight. Unscrewed to find thread hadn’t formed properly during molding. A little ptfe tape sorted it though!

Got this to replace an old one in our cubical shower we were due to have the bathroom replaced however due to the current situation we will have to wait.
Comes with replacement beads and also a stainless steer head fitted and a spare silicon one.This has definitely made an improvement on the old shower head which was leaking ,Easy to set up love the push button stream changer will be switching this one to the guest bedroom shower soon as we get our bathroom done.

This shower head is amazing. The water is so soft, it is lovely. I noticed my hair looks better too. Shower head is super easy to install and the spare beads are a bonus. We stay in Scotland so don’t have harsh water, but OMG this makes such a difference. Highly recommend.

Definitely worth a try
So far so good – just used it for a week but very impressed so far. We have fairly low pressure and this shower head has improved that greatly. Seems better for our skin too. I like the look of it as well – makes something fairly ordinary – a shower head – into something interesting!

After 2 showers everything seems great. My hair feels cleaner and softer and that’s why I bought this shower head. It s super easy to instal but you need to remove a piece. I didn t notice at first so nearly put it away to return as I didn t read anything about it. The pressure is not too bad. Could be higher but it is ok. Now let s hope it lasts.

So glad I bought this. The fine jet of water feels so soft on the skin. It’s a very different experience from my last shower head – a standard fitting, which I can never return to. I had heard about this type of shower head and wondered if it would work in a hard water area, so I took the plunge and bought this one. I attached it to my Mira power shower which is badly affected by the hard water and hoped. Within seconds, I was happy, I now have a powerful yet gentle stream of water and showers no longer involve me wondering where the water pressure has gone.

Surprisingly good
So impressed with this. Read other reviews and was a little sceptical. But having a low pressure shower and plenty of limescale, I had to give it a go.
Dead simple to install, like how could you get it wrong – unscrew old shower head, screw on the new one. Getting the beads into the tube needed a little bit of patience (don’t do it over the sink, beads will go down the drain), but simple enough.
The actual spray from the shower head is excellent and the best I have used. Believe the hype, it is worth a shot.

Great shower head, seems to do what it’s supposed to as have noticed that I now get a lather from my shower gel rather than a flat soapy mess. Luv the massage spray which works well but am not impressed with the other two alternatives which just produce a rather useless spray or maybe it’s my shower!! Will persist and hopefully things will improve.
Really good shower head
The shower head is actually very stylish, though I’m not sure if it has increased the pressure any as my previous head was a very different type and so was naturally quite powerful. Also the holes on this are quite small so it feels less intense on the skin. I bought this to see if it helped at all with a sensitive skin condition, but it doesn’t seem to have made much difference. I don’t think that has anything to do with the head itself, but rather with chalk content in the water, which I’m sure even this head would struggle to filter.

I could tell immediately that this shower head had been made with care. A good look over it confirmed that suspicion. I installed it and turned on for a quick test and it is great. The stainless steel nozzle disc points the water exactly where it is wanted. No random streams that go up the wall or onto the rug. No leaks running down because it doesn’t leak like almost every other shower head I’ve ever seen. It comes with a spare (silicone) nozzle disc for houses with higher water pressure. Also a spare set of ion filter stones.

Great Product with Great Service
Very happy with this replacement for my old shower head that was starting to show its age.
The spray is very fine compared with previous shower heads which is where the water-saving properties come into play. The switch to change the spray mode works very well, much better than twisting the shower rose. All three spray modes are nice, with the right pressure – not an issue with my combi boiler – but I can totally understand why this (and other similar products) are not suitable for electric showers.
It’s tough to comment on the effects of the ionising minerals however I have noticed that soap does seem to have a better lather so it is very possible it is softening the water.
Also I have to commend the customer service. The replacement shower plate for hard water areas was not included in the package. But after one quick message, a few days wait and this was received.

Made so much difference, I used on medium, husband on the power setting bother came out feeling relaxed (which is fantastic with me being 33 weeks pregnant it’s hard to feel comfortable at the moment) and hair seemed extra soft. Did smell a little first use so maybe just leave it running a bit longer before use.

I have had this shower head for over a year attached to my power shower.
With the stainless steel face that comes installed as standard it really does increase the pressure and provides a great showering experience. I tried a normal shower head for a bit recently and it was rubbish compared to this.
Build quality is excellent, solid product. I do live in a very hard water area so you will need to descale this every few months otherwise the holes with clog.
I am not sure about it’s water filtering properties since water flows too quickly through it for anything to realistically happen, however it’s worth it for the pressure alone.

Can’t believe what a difference this shower head makes. We have really poor water pressure here and you have to wait to get wet. This makes a huge difference and I can rinse my hair in normal time! Love the fact that this also comes with an extra supply of balls to put in it. I would definitely recommend.

We have very hard water and I was regularly descaling my shower tiles to keep them looking and feeling nice. My daughter bought one of these shower heads and recommended it to me. I cleaned my shower tiles and descaled them until they were smooth and shiny and then fitted this new shower head. Weeks later my tiles are still limescale free.

The flow is faster than normal! Although there seems more water than before, the Water hitting me isn’t as hard if that makes sense. I am in a hard water area, on the first time of using the ionic shower my hair feels much softer.
I dont like the weight of it (because the water sits in the head & handle together with the stones) which makes it top heavy. All-in-all I am happy with my purchase, 3 great settings to boot!
Very good value
Really makes our low-pressure shower feel like a power wash! The water comes out in such fine jets that the mist steams up the bathroom more quickly, which can be a problem if yours in poorly ventilated. Unsure if it makes hard water any softer, but my hair and skin certainly feel lovely afterwards. The handle is light and easy to install and appears surprisingly well made for the price. Love that the refill beads don’t come in a big disposable plastic cylinder like with a similar other brand.

I became aware of this showerhead in one of these ads on the internet that go “People in xxx go. crazy about this…” It was offered at a 50% off price of 50. I then thought It looks interesting, but 50…hmm, let’s try Amazon – where it was offered at a fraction of that price.
It arrived rapidly, was totally easy to install and works just like promised. I don’t know how long the mineral balls will last, but the main thing is that you get a nice soft shower and save water. And if you like it you can also have a jet or soft shower plus jet. I can absolutely recommend this showerhead.

Good for low water pressure homes
I live in a bungalow in a low water pressure area. The cold water tank is in the attic with the hot water tank just below it so this makes the water pressure worse as my shower installation is directly from the hot water tank. I am also in a hard water area so the old head “furs up” with limescale. My son had a shower when visiting me a few weeks ago and said the pressure was so bad it was like having a watering can above you! The Ionic shower head I have just purchased has improved the flow of water a lot and you have three choices of pressure by pressing the button on the head. Very easy to install. I live in a low pressure are with hard water and after a month and a half of use I have noticed a definite decrease in the amount limescale that would normally be visible on my tiles and shower door.
The captured limescale and sediment is even visible within the shower head body where the beads are.
I did have a slight issue trying to unscrew the end of the shower head to try out the other rubber plate, but i got in contact with Magic Home EU’s customer support and they were extremely friendly and helpful.

Makes water softer and adds power to water supply
I was working abroad for a month and knew from previous experience the damage the water in Gozo did to my hair and skin. This year I decided to invest in a shower filter to try and stop my hair turning to straw. This product works! Hair and skin still nice and soft after showering 2-3 times a day (due to heat). Added bonus was that it actually made the water pressure about x3 stronger. Really happy with this purchase. Easy to assemble and the refill balls are an added bonus. I brought it home with me and its also improved water pressure in my own shower, although not to extent it did abroad. A cheap fix to my issues, would 100% recommend!

I have suffered with incredibly dry skin all my life, especially on my arms. Having changed to this shower head, all of a sudden my dry skin has improved, with pretty much NO dry patches on my arms – I haven’t changed anything in my routine, literally just the shower head!
It has definitely improved the water quality, it feels much softer. I think the water pressure is slightly more powerful than previously but I can’t say I’ve noticed a huge difference.
My only complaint is that water drips a lot from the shower head – I’m not sure if it’s how I’ve installed it, or something to do with our shower.

A great update for areas with water containing high calc
A great update to a Mira shower head. The pressure increased so much more, and if you like very strong pressure then that’s for you! Otherwise, you will need to cut the amount of water using the tap, and this is where the saving will come from.
I have noticed less calc as well on the glass doors after swapping to these heads.
It is my second purchase and definitely won’t be the last!
Instructions
The shower head did not come with any instructions. I wasn’t sure what the additional shower head attachment was for !?. When I put it in the shower head and turned it on, it fell out together with a spring and small ball !?. I didn’t replace the additional replacement head. I scewred back the original head and fortunately it still works. I have kept the spring , ball and additional replacement head just in case it stops working. Instructions would of been helpful. I’m fairly convinced that the shower feels more powerful although the spray pattern isn’t as wide as most shower heads so it takes a little getting used to. I’m thinking of buying another one for the mixer shower in the bathroom.

As some of the other reviews suggest and logically correct, this does not improve the water pressure as such, because it is still working with the existing pressure. However it definitely makes a difference in terms of the spread. It has made a great deal of a difference to my shower. Regarding the minerals.. not sure if it does anything, my feedback is neutral on it i.e not seen any difference for the good or for worse. Overall would recommend this if your shower feels scanty!
There are three settings, 1 and 3 are easy to switch between. However positioning the switch to 2 needs a soft touch.

We live in a house with hard water, meaning it effects my sensitive skin and causes mould to build up in the shower, unless cleaned often. Since installing this, my skin has improved and I don’t feel like I’m constantly cleaning the shower. Never known water to feel so soft and make for a relaxing shower. In my opinion, it loses one star as it did not change the water pressure as it stated it would. May be because we live in a 3 storey town house with bathroom at the top, but was a little disappointed the pressure did not change.
Option to subscribe for product monthly to replace the beads, which made me concerned about how long it will last, but two months in, shows no signs of breaking up or stopping. Fantastic, low cost addition to the house with many benefits.
Lovely Soft Shower Time
I wasn’t sure whether to believe the hype – but at just under 16 it was worth a try. It is just under a week since we installed it and the shower head is wonderful! Makes the water a lot softer, I have to remember not to use so much shower gel, shampoo etc – that will save money! I am recommending this shower head to my family & friends.

Will it wash my thick hair properly, ABSOLUTELY YES!!
Only had this a few days and as my daughter and I have thick hair I was dubious that it would wash properly. We both tried it out over the weekend and it’s fabulous. I’m really delighted. No problem rinsing out the shampoo and conditioner at all and my hair feels lovely and soft. I haven’t felt that I needed as much moisturiser on my skin either.

Myself I find the ionic shower head great. The water pressure is good and it makes you feel very refreshed.
But my Partner finds the pressure does not suit him not strong enough. But says he will get used to the pressure. So he likes the shower head.

As I live in a very hard water area I needed to replace the shower head and chose this from the reviews. I was expecting an improvement but what I have got is a truly lovely shower experience whenever I use it. My family live up north and the water where they live is always so soft and this gives me the exact same feeling, My granddaughter loves it and I wish I had got this much sooner. I have fibromyalgia and can find some showers are actually painful. I am so delighted that this is both soft and refreshing and I come out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Easy to install makes a massive difference
I had a water saver attached to my shower hose and with my previous shower head the pressure was noticeably lower, simply replacing my shower head with this one has made a massive difference. The Jet is nice and strong, the water feels softer, the different settings are easy to switch between mid shower due to the switch mechanism on the head. All in all, a great buy.
Powerful
Used for a week now found it to have a good strong flow I’m pleasantly surprised at how more effective the spray pressure is than my previous 3 mode shower head. Only minor gripe is the mode adjuster is a little fiddly when adjusting with wet hands otherwise very pleased with this good quality product I’ll never use a standard shower head again.

Very easy to install, works wonders. It was already worth the money for the rainfall setting, it’s so nice! I bought this because the water where I live is VERY hard and it was destroying my hair. I noticed a difference on the first hair wash, my hair was drying much softer and felt much lighter. I checked online and you’re supposed to replace the beads every 6 to 12 months so this is good value for money.

If you have low water pressure and are looking for something to turn your shower into a power shower then this item isn’t for you. That said, if you have low water pressure and want to turn a unacceptable shower into an acceptable one, then this shower head does the trick. It doesnt so much as increase the water pressure but focuses it so that you get a more intense spray centralised to where you are standing. It has solved the problem I had with one of my showers so much so that I am almost certainly going to buy another one for the en suite. Like I say, set your expectations too high and you wont be happy, be realistic and this is a very good, value for money investment.
easy to use
I really liked this product. I was unable to use it though as my current shower set up does not work. I have a small shower that will only work if the head is more angled. The water ended up in the wrong place and I had no adjustment on the fittings of my shower to allow for this. Not the fault of the product. I have kept it as can use it on a hand held mixer on the bath.
Worth a try
This works really well on my electric shower. I am in a ring main and have fluctuating pressure, this shower head evens it out. I also have long hair and it rinses shampoo out well. It has also helped my eczema/dry skin. My only criticism is that the box doesn’t contain instructions about when to change the replacement stones.
There are loads of reviews on here, sometimes it’s hard to know what is an over exaggeration or when someone’s expectations are just too high! The product arrived quickly in a branded box. The shower head was wrapped in some protective packaging and was already filled with the beads. There was an extra pack of beads too, which I wasn’t expecting! It took 2min to unpack and connect up to my shower. Now, i didn’t have great expectations for increased pressure. The pressure you have isn’t going to magically increase. But i can tell you that the even spread of water, the thin jets of water etc certainly give a far greater impression of there being more water. It is also fine jets so it gives the impression of being mist like and really soft. I only knocked a star off because it doesn’t “increase” the pressure. But all said and done, for the price, it was a brilliant product! Highly recommended!
Works Well
It works well. It gives an adequate shower on my gravity fed low pressure system. It gives a a lot more fine streams of water and definitely uses less water because the hot water takes longer to come through. Neither my wife or I have noticed any health benefits but maybe that will be become more obvious with time. We have only been using it a short time.
Received the showerhead next day with prime. It came with a refill for both sets of beads and only took a couple of minutes to fit. The water coming through seems a lot finer but is powerful and really lovely. No idea whether it will save water but it definitely felt different in a good way! Got a follow up email from the producers asking if everything was ok, advising the showerhead is guaranteed for a year and has a lifetime customer support service. Recommend both the seller and the showerhead.
Always sceptical when seeing these ‘wonder items’ flash up on internet and the amazing claims of what they can do at such a low price. However; just moved into new house, shower in en-suite not so powerful – seen this, had a punt and bought one, and it works great. Don’t know how long it will last. But, if I can get several months out of it; I’ll defo be buying another one. After all, it’s cheaper than a packet of replacement razor blades.
Forget to say; skin feels soooo silky smooth afterwards. Can’t comment on hair. I’m BALD!!

Ionic (magical) beads aside I’ve been very impressed with this shower head.
My previous shower head had started to fire water jets in all directions due to a build up of lime scale inside the unit. So I decided to replace it (cleaning it wasn’t a great success) and I thought “if I’m going to do it I may as well try for an upgrade”. You know what, I think I may have got one.
The is a lot of rubbish in the sales pitch for these but what it does it restrict the flow rate (increasing the pressure) and agitates the water around the beads causing bubbles to form. This means that you get a ‘lighter’, ‘softer’ stream of water, but at a higher pressure. I imagine it’s a lot like being beaten by a pillow filled with the wings of fairy’s (they should give me a job on their marketing team!)
The head gives a nice wide angle on the ‘rain’ setting and although it feels a lot softer on the skin/face it certainly washes the shampoo etc our of my hair with little to no effort.
If you’re looking for a good replacement shower head that uses a little less water but is equally effective then buy this. If you’re looking for a shower head which changes the colour of your aura then I think you might have to look else where, Narnia would be my first port of call.

Ingenuous shower head desig
This shower head cannot increase water pressure as it states, however what it does do is introduce more air into the water and forces it out of much smaller holes in the shower head giving it the impression of higher water pressure. All said, I do love the product. I initially bought it as my existing shower has low pressure and trying to have a shower under a dribble was painfully slow; now I can shower and get my entire body wet and rinse my hair in no time due to the increased area of water flow thanks to the ingenuous head design. Knowing we had low water pressure thanks to a defective inlet valve on the main this was a gamble … it paid off handsomely.
I discovered these units in a B&B last summer and monitored reviews whilst weighing up the benefits vs the bad experiences shoppers reported with similar items.
Our water pressure is so low it only just makes the first couple of balls wobble, but the champagne effect at the business end is good.
The rocker switch in the head falls easily to hand and works perfectly once the water is flowing. The centre setting delivers a blend of the two extreme choices … 3 settings … simple.
The actual final section unscrews for cleaning – essential in our hard water environment. The holes appear precision cut and certainly deliver as intended.
The water is softer, the pressure increase doesn’t break our electric shower but does result in a fab clean feeling as you shower.
Thr refills are a nice touch at this price and I would hesitate to argue against buying one as your next shower head.

This shower head is fantastic for increasing low water pressure. Standing under my mums shower was not a pleasant experience until I ordered her one of these! I would definitely recommend it if you have water pressure issues, your shower experience will be much better!
Water flow is good and provides a nice, albeit condensed shower. I suspect the increase pressure theory is due to the Bernoulli principle of thermodynamics, whereby the mechanics of the ball design reduce the velocity of the water hence increasing the pressure. It does appear to provide more pressure than a shower head I have of similar dimensions.
However, thermodynamics aside it provides a nice refreshing shower and is good value for money.
I needed a new shower head. I ordered this and I’m very happy with it.
This arrived quickly and in good order. It connected easily to my existing shower hose and was easy to install. My only criticism is that is quite heavy and pulls down the shower head holder. This makes having a shower difficult as you have to keep readjusting it or hold it in place. The actual shower head home itself is very efficient though and I’m happy with it if only it wasn’t so heavy.

Our old shower head finally died and we’d seen these so thought we would try one. I picked this one in particular because of the better reviews and it was slightly cheaper, plus it came with extra beads to refill it.
Anyway, I’ve used it a few times now and the water feels much softer. I’m not sure it’s really improved the pressure but ours was good beforehand so wasn’t that big a deal. I like the 3 different spray options. It feels well made in your hand and doesn’t feel like it’s in danger of falling apart. I’m really pleased with it.

Quick and easy to fit, it’s slightly improved the flow of water and the ionic balls do help to effect the ‘quality’ of the water.
Construction is plastic but what of it, that’s how things are nowadays and if I get some decent use out of it then that’s all that matters.
I moved to an area with hard water a few years ago and it’s awful on your skin and body. I eventually got a showerhead similar to this. They make a HUGE difference , but they don’t last forever, and once my other one ran out, my hair constantly felt sticky and weighed down.
I bought this one and my hair felt better after the first wash. It’s also much better than my previous one because it comes with a refill so it’ll last twice as long, plus it has three different water settings. It’s a bit bulkier but actually looks nicer, I think.
Very pleased, does the job and for the effect it has on softening water it’s definitely worth it.

Very easy to fit, straight onto the standard hose. Works a treat, the 3 settings are great, the power setting is great for us girls to rinse our hair. No complaints. Would recommend, great piece of kit.
I bought this for my very dry, dermatitis-prone skin’s health and I love the soft but steady and powerful flow of water. If the water pressure has improved, I haven’t noticed, but as this isn’t my reason for buying, I’m not really paying much attention.
Very easy to install – simply remove your own shower head and screw this onto the fitting instead. Couldn’t be easier.
I would have appreciated a heads up about how to change the spray modes. I was trying to turn the metal circle like previous shower heads I’ve had, thinking I had a faulty product, before I noticed the clear plastic switch.
Fabulous! our island water is very hard in Greece, and the natural mineral filter in this shower head softens it for a most delightful shower, making hair and skin feel softer too. We Love it!
