Liked the ease of assembly although you do have to wiggle the ends to get them to lock in place. Once in very sturdy. Like that it folds down for the boot of the ca

Love this box, it is better than I expected, my pup loves to sleep in it, he walks in and snuggles down.
I wouldn’t use this to transport my dog on a plane but I didn’t buy it for air travel.
    Would definitely buy this again.

The photos are for the 20 kg one FC670. Will upload a video and a pic of it from a distance and folded to show you true size and just how fast and easy it is to open.
Absolutely love and and my tiny doggies were excited ran in and out of it for a while. Both fit inside it enough room for both albeit would be a bit tight to lie down for both. One is 4 pounds the other 9 pounds.

It has a handle when compacted down so you can carry it. Would be better on the side the handle though, once packed up because of the width. The width with handle on the top folded makes it harder to carry if your travelling public transporteven folded.
I hope this lasts a long time. Pretty expensive but cheaper than elsewhere online. Took me three attempts to get this over a month to finally get an order through and delivered.
Its a japanese brand I think. The Japanese have morals and values when it comes to producing high quality products. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Japanese product albeit lot more expensive. Part of their respect in their culture is ensuring high quality work ethics with products.

Would recommend. Its very easy to pop open.
Has 2 doors one at back and the front with the front one having a button in middle to press to open it. The doors pull up and pop into place easily from folding to open kennel.

I need to travel hours to get to nearest city. I needed a folding kennel for the air b n bs where I can take it with me on trains. so dogs will be in kennel in the air b n b rental. So this is perfect. I’ll pop it in my folding wagon I use for travel as I can’t carry it with handle on the top when I have other bags its wide where handle is. I’ll post pic of that today and a video.

    Fantastic

I bought this large size carrier for my cat who just refused to go in his old carrier which was very much smaller than this. When you tried to put him in the old one he would just put the brakes on. A real struggle. The entrance door is nice and big with good ventilation and vision. Yes it is heavy I will admit but it is secure and safe. Another good thing is that you can easily and quickly close the door with one hand and not fiddle around trying to keep the cat in and also lock the door with the other type of carrier locks. More expensive but worth it. Plenty of room for blankets etc. Very pleased.

Was a bit fazed by the weight of this carrier, it is quite hefty and with my hefty Maine Coon inside I shall need a fork lift to lift it for me.
Overall I am quite pleased with it, it is smart and roomy enough for my cat to lay out flat, which Maine Coons seem to prefer., and there was no problem putting it up, it simply unfolds, marvellous.

Very pleased with this carrier, good size for a large cat. Good quality and I was confident that my cat was safe in it.

I’m so pleased with this carrier I’ve ordered another as I have 2 cats…..my rag doll should fit in the smaller sized one ! On eBay it’s truly expensive so it’s v good value here. Easy to put up no arguments with it ! no sharp edges perfect.
I have 2 now! Please bear in mind because of its robustness its slightly heavier than your average pet carrier!

I read all the reviews but was still a little worried about buying this pet carrier. So imagine my delight when I realised it is great product although I don’t ‘ carry’ it as such. We put it in the car when needed and the dog now happily goes in it when travelling. We have used it about 8 times so far – perfect for our westie.

Bought this for our new rescue dog and it’s great. We use it in the car and the double door means he can see us and stays calm.
We leave it in the kitchen with the door open and he uses it as a bed when he wants to sleep. Assembly is very easy and it is very sturdy once assembled it can also be folded down if required for easy storage. I would definitely recommend this item it is an excellent quality dog carrier for a small dog.

Absolutely brilliant cage. Really solid but incredibly easy to fold down – saves a load of space. Only used once so far for 2 Guinea pigs and they seemed happy enough.

Really pleased will suit our cats for journeys to the vets and fit our border terrier in the car as she hates the car and bounces all over so will keep her safe . So easy to fold and unfold x very pleased x

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery impressed, needed a new carrier & found this on Amazon during lockdown, its light, nicely made & sturdy enough to hold my ” baby tiger ” whose 7.5kg. It also folds down and easily fits under a bed or in a wardrobe, the handle is good too big & rounded enough to fill my hand so less chafing & cutting & it can lean to the side so you can lift it quickly or fits flat in the slot out of the way. Neat enough to take a seat belt too.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhen you first set up the carrier you might think it’s a bit flimsy. I have purchased two of these for our min schnauzers. They use them as cubbies at night (not locked). We take them on holiday – the carrier packs down very well. We find the carriers suit our purposes.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the only carrier that would fit in my Mazda MX5 and it’s amazing. I collected my whippet puppy and drove for 6 hours to get home. It’s so easy to assemble (you could do it blindfolded) and really sturdy. He had plenty of room being only 8 weeks old and will still fit him for a while yet.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe fact that this is collapsible is amazing. A key concern was storage so this is fantastic! The shape makes it more difficult to carry than soft cases but it’s a balancing act as it is also easier to get your pet into! What would be useful is if the carrier had top access as well although I appreciate that this might be difficult in light of the collapsible design! All in all I am happy with the carrier which was received promptly and is extremely easy to assemble and collapse. It is also not unattractive. Most importantly of all, it is spacious and seemingly comfortable, particularly with a little blanket.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI received this yesterday (very fast delivery) and used it today for a trip to the vets with my noisy siamese cat. Very easy to assemble and put down, plenty of room for my tall cat (I ordered the S). I would highly recommend this carrier if you want a quality product, you can also feel confident your pet is secure and not going anywhere until you open the door.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe recently rescued 2 feral kittens and they were naturally VERY wary of humans and cages. Getting the little boy into his existing cat carrier was nigh-on impossible even after several *weeks* of feeding him in it to help acclimatise him. It normally involved biting, scratching and a whole lot of stress for everyone involved. We wanted a bigger cage so he wouldn’t feel as trapped, and we also wanted one with a quick close mechanism so we weren’t fighting him to shut the door.

This absolutely ticks both those boxes: the carrier is very big, you could easily fit a small dog — or, in our case, both the cats, even once they’re fully grown. The door mechanism is also much simpler and shuts and secures easily. Most importantly, the first time we tried it on the kitten, he didn’t even react. MUCH calmer, no panicking from me and no blood drawn from me! Win-win.

Add in the fact that it very cleverly packs near-flat and is easier to store than cages we have half its size is very impressive. My only gripe would be that it feels a little cheap — there are some fairly large gaps that I worry could trap a paw and the carry handle doesn’t feel as sturdy as I’d hope. I’d definitely be concerned about carrying a much larger animal.

However, for our purposes it is absolutely brilliant. I’d definitely recommend for those with nervous cats.

Sturdy, well-built, packs down small for storage. Only problem is that the cat likes sitting on it so much we hven’t been able to fold it up and put it away.

it is a great pet box and folding as well is great. easy to assemble in few seconds. Seems a bit weak though on the doors so if you want to give you pet to someone else to carry and make sure the door don’t open I wouldn’t recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am surprised at the quality of this box and the ease of storage. I bought the blue large size for my little old (very playful) cat for her long journey to her new home in France in a few months. Not used yet but it is nice and roomy for her journey and will fit well on the back seat of our pickup. I didn’t want her squashed in her little small carry (vet) box and wanted her to have room for toys and bedding and food and drink and not too dark so she can see out and see me! I am very happy with purchase and I think she will be too! Once in France it will be very useful for animal rescue which I intend doing.

I have only one small gripe which the manufacturers may want to take on board – an opening door on both ends may prove useful in certain situations (at present the opening door is only on one end).

Great Product. Best pet carrier I’ve ever had or seen. Lightweight, compact when folded. Lots of space too. Highly recommend.

I haven`t used this yet as my kittens haven`t grown into it yet,but as they`re Bengal crossbreeds I`m sure I`ll need this to transport them back and forth for their health checks. The item appears to be very solidly built out of good materials.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis review is for the “Iris 530841.0 Pet Transport Box 12 kg, Black” version of the product. Alternate model number is FC-550 as per the box and manual.

I have previously had a cheaper cat box that started to fall apart so I was in a need of a replacement. A lightning deal later I have bought the Iris 12 kg / Small pet box (black) as a replacement. These are my observations:

    * Very sturdy construction – it might be a bit on the heavy side, but it is relatively big (even the small one) and very well made. Much better than taking the chance for the box to break and run after your pet outside.
    * When not in use the Iris box can be folded so it doesn’t take as much space. This reduces its height around 2.5 times. Definitely worth it.
    * Size when unfolded: 31.5cm wide x 55cm long x 36.4cm tall.
    * Size when folded: 31.5cm x 54.4cm x 14.5cm.
    * Folding mechanism is really well taught, as well as the opening mechanism. However the pet entrance door is only from one side, but you can still use the folding door mechanism on the other side, but it will make it more difficult to close it when the pet is inside, especially if your best friend is a bigger one.
    * Sizing – for a cat, unless a giant one go for the small 12kg box as well as for small dogs. For medium dogs go with the big case, but check the size of that one before buying. As per the manual the big box unfolded dimensions are – 40.3 x 68.6 x 47.8 cm (20 kg max).

I have already had the chance to use the box a few times and I have absolutely no complaints beside that I would have liked a version that is just a touch smaller than the 12 kg Iris. Otherwise I believe that it is great choice, i really like the folding mechanism and the sturdy construction and hope that it will last.
