I was skeptical on this product and really didn’t want to pay the price, but when my air canisters were running out, i didn’t really want to get more as i don’t like that some liquid can come out.

So i took the plunge and oh man, i am so glad i did. The amount of power from this thing is insane. You get a nice long braded cable and overall it’s a wonderful thing to use. If you’re on the fence and you can afford it, i would highly suggest picking this up and never having to worry about cleaning your PC again.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought to clean out my PC which had been gathering dust for 4 years and this made quick work of it.

    A couple pro’s and cons;
    Pro;
    – About a 2m cable.
    – High power which blasts dust from wherever you use it.
    – Prompt delivery.
    – Different nozzles although I stuck with the smallest one.
    – Easy to clean filter at the bottom that you can pop out, blast with air, and put back in.

    Con;
    – Can get quite hot, just leave it for a lil bit if it does and it cools down quick enough.
    – The price is quite steep I’d say, but I preferred being safe by getting this over cans of air – if you’re gonna clean regularly it’s a no brainer.
    – If you have as much dust as I did, blast it away outside if possible as I had to dust the entire living room as its that powerful.

You will still have to give whatever you’re blasting a wipe down – in my case I used dry kitchen roll and q-tips – but it easily gets rid of a lot of dust. Definitely use it outside if you can.

I love how light weight and portable it is. Very easy to use and it is VERY powerful. Removed the dust from my desk then my keyboard and finally my PC so easily in a few minutes. I have always used the air cannisters and they are so very costly and not always a practical solution for electronics. This , although quite expensive in the first instance, will pay for itself over and over I am positive. No chance of damaging my expensive PC parts as it is just pure air. Perfect, yet simple solution .

I know this is essentially just a miniature leaf blower and expensive but I’m blown away (pun intended). I’ve always found a brush and hoover tedious to clean out my PC tower and never found those mini usb hoover or manual air blowers any use at all. Its not something you’ll use on a weekly basis or to regularly but for me my PC case is a dust magnet where it is located and this was really impressive in clearing every little crevice. I advise you hold any PC fans so that you don’t damage their fan shaft/bearings, or don’t get too close to sin the blades. It is powerful and meant for short bursts, which is why you hold the on button down when using and release it for off.
I even found myself cleaning all the house fans and hard to reach dusty areas of the house which my wife loved!I therefore do advise using it with a hoover nearby, well ventilated area or outside.

I never bought aircans just to cleanup my keyboard or pc.
One day, I was watching YouTube and a guy named bitwit was recommending: “your pc needs a datavac”. So I was like: ye, let me buy one.
This the intro to why I’ve purchased this one and not the 100 “made in USA” one. Because it’s cheaper and I don’t need to actually clean my parts everyday.
It does definitely make my keyboard cleaner (I would say close to brand new). From a pc cleaning perspective, I did try on my folding machine, and man it blows up a lot of dust.
Aesthetics? Something between the lines of a kettle and an clothing iron. But hey. I’m into function over aesthetics. The cord is a plain long grey, iron stile I would say.
It is noisy, probably due to the 500w engine. It does not have speed adjustment, but that’s ok, it does a decent job.
One advice though: it gets pretty hot after prolonged use, so bear that in mind.
I can’t wait to use it the next time – I have an excuse to clean up my pc more often now lol. I would probably recommend this for an IT repair shop or some field engineer. Hope this helps

Always wanted one of these but they are quite expensive, I had some vouchers and decided to buy one as never felt comfortable using a make up brush and vacuum cleaner.

This thing does pack a punch and it does lift the dust but for the really fine layer of dust you’ll stick need a brush of some so

Got sick and tired of getting by with Spray Cans they are rubbish and watery after a few sprays looking at the airduster market this was a good price with good reviews! 10/10 would recommend to anybody who needs to clean any electrical devices!

The blower does a 100x better job than any air cans!

  8. Lori Grunin says:

Probably the best thing you can say about this machine is that it exists, which is not to do it down. There are basically no other affordable options for powered air-dusters available in the UK and Ireland at the moment so if you want one you should buy this.
It will save you money on compressed air over time, which is the main reason I bought it, however it is also way more effective than using spray cans. The air blast is more powerful and can be maintained continuously, meaning its much easier and quicker at cleaning the insides of something like a PC.
Still, having not much competition means you are paying a lot for something that is pretty basic. It blows air and has two settings: on and off. I will have to end the review now because there is not much more to say than that.

My PC gets dusty very easily and canned air wasn’t cutting it, decided to buy this instead, may seem expensive but it will definitely save me money over time instead of paying for canned air which could cause damage,

this blower also does a much better job and with the accessories given it can clean a pc in seconds.

Cables very stiff so it can be a pain to maneuver but its defiantly durable so no complaints there

Purchased a nicer (and better airflow PC case) and thought I’d take the opportunity to clean to complete clean too; compressed cans of air seeming to be in short supply and overly expensive I came across this (also better for environment). Wasn’t really sure what to expect but the reviews were fantastic so bit the bullet. The blower comes with 3 different nozzles (presumably to adjust the airflow pressure/concentration) and a long 3m plug cable.

Small instruction manual is easy to follow; and operation couldn’t be easier, there’s an on flick switch which starts the device, let go of the switch and it turns off. One thing to note is that the air intake is located on the bottom of the device so ensure that this isn’t ever blocked when operating. I was really surprised at the power of the air put this thing produced — at 500W power, this is no pushover and easily blasts dust and debris from any surface.

I was genuinely horrified at the amount of rubbish which was displaced from my PC; visibly looked clean but definitely not after what I witnessed. This is a really good tool to do a deep PC clean (could also be used for PS4, XBOX, anything really) and definitely does a super job. 100% recommended.

The product is a little bit more expensive, but it does the job very well. Cleaning a PC takes about a minute. From my experience I can tell that it cleans more dust than compressed air cans. If you have carpets in your house and cannot remove it, and you are worried about your PC, this product will save you a lot of money on the long run. As I said, it blows almost all of the dust that is accumulated on fans or PC radiators. It has a filter which is can be easily removed and installed again. Cleaning it is also easy, you can use the blower for that.
The only thing you should be cautious about is that it should not be running continuously for a long period of time. I would suggest short 1-2 sec bursts with a few sec intervals so you can avoid overheating the motor. In addition, after about 5 min the product starts blowing slightly warmer air so you should also take that into account. If you are going to use it to clean a PC specifically, do not blow any parts from close range as there is some small risk of blowing something else from your PC components. I am not joking. This blower is very strong.
All in all, it’s really worth it.

i’ve been using compressed air to clean my computer and desk for a good set of time now with them lasting only after a few uses but also the liquid that left behind after some uses so after a while looking stumbled across this.

it’s so simple to use, has bundles of power and can get to all the dust inside of my case. the product itself i can not fault, 49.99 is a little steep yet spending between 6.99-10.00 at a time for compressed air it’ll save in the long run.

the nozzles start to get a little warm from use, but i can’t see that becoming a problem unless you keep on for an excessive period of time.

to summarise, cost efficient and gets the job done nice and fast.

    o more compressed air!

Brilliant!! I have an air-conditioning unit in my conservatory where I keep my African greys who creat a great amount of dust, all though I hoover and clean the unit and the 2 air purifiers I have in there overtime there is a build up of dust which I just cannot reach with anything, well this morning I plugged it in and it was fab cleaned all the units and the backs of the radiators and all the other I parts I couldn’t reach, couldn’t believe how much dust I manage remove, highly recommend.

I bought this because things like my computer key board were dusty and hard to clean, and I wanted to be able to clean components like computer fans without using cans of compressed air (which don’t go very far making them expensive overall and sometimes spray liquid) or the hoover (which is awkward and ineffective). I used it for the first time yesterday and was really impressed – a graphics card that’s been in my PC for 5 years looked like new, including all the circuits and fans that are very difficult to clean otherwise, and my keyboard was clean with a quick blow. I’m looking forward to cleaning all those things that I haven’t been able to effectively clean before. Whilst this isn’t the cheapest item it feels like a quality build, it’s got a very strong air flow and I’m confident it’ll last for years making it cheaper overall than compressed air cans.

I often use air duster cans and after a while decided to purchase one of these to save money, my PS4 was extremely audible and loud when idling however after a quick blast this device exorcised the dust out of the device through the vents without having to open it, the same can be said for my PC, using it at a safe distance I blasted the GPU and CPU heatsink and it removed all the dust, also used it on a vacuum cleaner filter and other devices, would recommend, the plug was UK 3 pin and the cord was a fairly good length, high quality and braided, lastly the device itself does hold weight and in no way feels cheap, this device is a must have for generally anyone due to its versatility.

I bought this product to clean my PC. I have not yet used it, but I’ve taken it out the box and experimented with it. It comes with 3 filters which change their air jet’s shape. I can assure you that the power of this air is stronger than typical compressed air you might buy from a store. If you’re worried about it being too powerful, I would assume you can just stand back as the cord is very long! I think 2 metres? The device is very simple to use. You plug it in, and there’s a switch on the device that you can use like a button for quick jets of air.

I am used to using the crappy sprays that freeze your hand after a little while and run out quickly, also you need to keep doing short bursts!! Well this bad boy is brilliant!! I stripped down my pc tower and set to work, it worked like a dream to the point I was sneezing my head off with all the dust it blew out of my pc and my sons laptop. They both run a lot cooler, best bit of kit I have bought for my pc.

I’m going to start with off with being very clich. I was looking for air compressor cans on amazon and saw reviews that many of them lose pressure after a few seconds of activation so I kept scrolling and came across this item. I was skeptical about this item but read some reviews and saw that many people found this product to work very well and that encouraged me to purchase also. Within 30 seconds of using this product my pc had dramatically changed and most to all of the dust was removed. Some dust had been sitting in my pc for months. After about a minute or so my pc was dust free. The only thing slightly negative about this is that. It starts to get warm to hot after a few minute so use this product in intervals if needed and some dust is sucked up into the bottom but it can be removed by hand. Overall a great produc

I’ve always used cans of compressed air & was looking at this product for a while, and now I have one they only thing I can say is just wow. In my opinion this is essential for PC building and maintenance.

Product is well packaged, comes with accessories & everything you need. It’s powerful and will clean out an empty PC case in mere seconds. You can fully manoeuvre the unit in any direction with no loss of pressure, so you will be able to get into every tiny area with no fear, but most importantly no moisture coming from the nozzle.

My only issue is why didn’t I buy one sooner? Seriously. With the cost of continuously buying compressed air cans now a thing of the past for me, the CompuCleaner will pay for itself in no time.

Wonderful product; Just used it to clean my Desktop computer out and keyboard and they look as good as new. Safer and more economically stable than compressed air cans. This will definitely save me a lot more money in the long run.

I Found dust in areas I had previously seen but could not get to and this product made it so easy to clean.

The ergonomics of this product are fabulous! I managed to hold it really easy and had no pain whilst using it.

One downside was how to cable was kinked when it arrived. I unkinked it and it just kinked again but only a small bit, so not a major downside as it still works as normal.

    Fabulous product for its price.

    Thank you

Very powerful,I was amazed at how much dust was removed from my computer, good job I did it outside.
The only drawback s are that on off switch would be better as a trigger and the interchangeable nozzles can be knocked off quite easily.
Having said that I’m very pleased I purchased it,far better than the hair dryer Id previously used as a blower.

After many many years of buying compressed air cans and watching tech gurus on youtube have one of these It’s been a purchase I have meant to “get around to” the next time I needed a can.. but more often than not put it off and I hate saying I wish I had took the plunge earlier.

I do a lot of messing around with PC builds which is the good reason to get this but my daughters Xbox one X was having some issues and I could clearly see dust was an issue, I didn’t want to use compressed air as you can see the flammable stuff coming out at times when you spray it so finally got this. Sorted her xbox issues out straight away and meant I could go to town on the dust particles that build up in the pc (and keyboard!)

This thing has a ton of pressure, can’t recommend it enough

It’s initially an expensive purchase, but when you factor in that you don’t have to buy cans of compressed air any more nor worry about running out of compressed air through cleaning your equipment, then you realise it’s really good value.

Before I bought this, I used to use the cans of compressed air, and you’re always trying to be economic with the use – a little squirt here and there. With my air duster I can just go in with the air flying out and remove all the dust and debris without worry. I’ve used it on my 6 year old pc and got rid of loads of dust, then I stuck it onto my sons xbox one and masses of dust came blowing out of the vents.

It’s well worth the money. You get three nozzle attachments, I tend to just use the one with the smallest end to get a nice right flow. You also get a spare filter, and it’s really easy to just pop it out of the bottom and blow the dust off it.

PC’s love to suck in dust and need a good clean regularly.
Getting in all the parts that the dust does with a hoover isn’t always possible and cans of compressed air are an option but not a patch on this bad boy.
I saw this on jayz 2 cents and put it on my Xmas list.
    It’s awesome!!!
Very powerful and blows all the dust out of every nook and cranny in my case.
It’s a little bit expensive in my opinion at 50 but it’s well made and hopefully will last me years.

This air cleaner really has a powerful jet. It is way stronger than an air duster aerosol.
A greetings card over 10 feet away fell over as I moved the duster away from my laptop keyboard and it moved a tennis ball my dog had left in the middle of the floor.
So it needs a bit of caution when using as it could cause some damage. It could certainly cause chaos in an office the way it blew the card over!
After using it to blow some dust out of my laptop I was pleased to find the overheating has improved considerably. Instead of running at 80-90+ degrees it is now back in the 40-60 range. So this has saved me from having to take apart my laptop to give the cooling fan and filter a proper cleaning.
    Money well spent.
p.s. Just blew away a cobweb in the hard to reach corner of the room, so I’ll need to hide this from the Mrs!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOn reading the reviews I took to buying the duster even though I thought it was on the expensive side, the pc was not to dusty or so I thought and using short bursts I was pleasantly surprised a the power of the duster. Yes I could feel it heating up but again using short bursts there was no problem and something I would have done anyway and not just blasted away, the attachments were good especially the nozzle as you could concentrate more on one section. So yeah so far I am happy with the product and would recommend.

    Pleasantly Surprised

My first Impression of the compressor was definitely not what I imagined, the air pressure was a lot more powerful than I anticipated and I was very happy with it. Its well made and I was able to easily clean my keyboard and computer components, including playing around with all the dust on my desk.

My one concern is the compressor seems to heat up quickly, but that’s due to its purpose being a quick dust cleaning. I hope that, this will last me a long time as its a replacement for compressed air cans. Will probably do a follow up edit of review after few months of usage. But currently I think it’s a good value for money product.

Going into this I wasn’t expecting too much but upon firing it up for the first time… I was blown away…… sorry.

But in all seriousness, it is a touch expensive at 49.99 (when I bought it) but the power and effieciency of this little air gun is fantasic. Since purchasing it I’ve cleaned/dusted 12 PCs (2 Full Towers and 10 Mini-PCs) and it took care of anything not pinned down.

Hands down a great investment if you find yourself needing to dust a lot of things.

This really is only for people who work with old PCs a lot. Maybe a normal user has 1 PC and cleans it 2 or 3 times a year. In this case I would go for canned-air. As a product it is powerful and can overheat easily which is why the button has to be held down to use.
As I said – good for frequent use, not so for occasional use.

I have birds at home and run an air purifier. Nevertheless, the air ionizer makes it that dust is well settling on grounded material such as my computer. Use vacuum cleaner and pressurized air cans before. This CompuCleaner is better than the cans. I removed my graphics card to give it a thorough blow and all of the inside is easily cleaned with it. In addition it takes less time with it compared to the air cans. I also cleaned other electric equipment which attracts the dust due to being grounded. The version 502 has an easy to use switch on the top. Maybe one day they add a flexible tube to be attached as nozzle. That would be a highly welcomed add on. For me, it gets a top rating.

Really powerful and much better than the air cans.

Probably won’t need to use it too often so it’s an expensive purchase for the average person, but my internal fans were getting clogged up with dust and you could hear them when the PC was on. As the fans were clogged up the fans were running faster and that caused the noise. Blew out the dust and now it’s back to being cool and quiet.

Causation though, you will get dust everywhere and need a good hoover after, try to do it over a laminate floor for easy of cleaning and make sure you unplug the PC first.

  33. Anonymous says:

I was a bit sceptical about the airflow this machine would produce but when I turned it on I was both figuratively and literally blown away (and so were all the papers on my desk)! It was to the point I was a bit afraid my laptop fans would be damaged from spinning at above-specification RPM but that was easy to fix and frankly it’s more proof of the powerful airflow.

Was easy to operate but it’s limited in movement slightly by the cable. However I find the cable is long enough so it’s not a major issue.

It’s a bit expensive but if it lasts I’d say it’s worth the money.

    Would highly recommend

For anyone with electronics, such as a console or pc, this duster is the gadget you didn’t realise you needed.

The amount of hidden dust and debris that gets into these items is unreal. Thankfully the blower will easily remove the worst of it in just a few minutes.

Do remember to vaaccum up the dust afterward though and if possible use the blower on a balcony or in a garden to avoid filling your house with dust and potentially causing you to cough and splutter.

My PC was making strange noises and threating to overheat, so I bought this. Sure enough it fixed my PC’s dust caked CPU fan, but I’ve also found that it’s surprisingly useful in other cleaning scenarios. For example I have a robot vacuum and empty out the dirt container every day: I’ve found that blasting the filter with this (blow in the correct direction of course, i.e. blow on the clean side) keeps the filter working at peak efficiency. Also I opened my PVC double glazed window and was horrified by all the spider webs and other gunk in the frame: a quick blast and it all vanished, with no dirty rags or brushes to dispose of or clean.

In other words you can use it for any dusting task, but it must of course be a few quick blasts only, since this high power device will soon overheat.

We purchased the CompuCleaner Original, primarily for PC and peripheral cleaning, but it is versatile enough to do more jobs. This cleaner is very basic, plug & blow, one speed with a hold down to work button, and a couple of attachments. Visually it looks modern, small & light for easy one hand use. Pressure is stronger than a compressed can of air. But is very, very loud like a hoover.

If you are using it for PC cleaning, be careful around delicate components, particularly your fans. Hopefully this purchase will prove cost effective in the long run, compared to cans of compressed air. Only downside is it does seem a bit pricey at 44 for the limited functionality. (review edited: 26/7/20. reason: felt was too harsh on the product in hindsight , after more usage).

Sick of purchasing disposable, wasteful, overpriced cans of air for cleaning my electronics with, I decided to just go for it and buy this, thanks to the good reviews. I was not disappointed.
If you’re thinking of using this, keep in mind that it’s got some pretty serious kickback. Gentlemen, don’t hold this anywhere near your crotch when you switch it on because either way you’re going to be doubled over for a few hours.
Now that’s out of the way, this thing really does the job, and it’s pretty versatile. I’ve not only used it to blow dust out of my computer and games consoles, but I’ve also used it to clear surfaces and blast spiders out of the window. Very effective. I just wish it was a bit cheaper, because honestly 50 is a bit steep for something that blows air hard. Cord length is also a little short too but it’s not too bad.

It’ll definitely replace the air cans that I use for however long it lasts.

Definitely the loudest thing I’ve ever owned. When you use the attachments, it gets even louder. If I don’t use ear protection I fear I might go deaf! XD

(Anyway great product, seems reasonably built from solid plastic, has a filter to get dust and stuff on the air inlet, but they really need to maybe make the power adjustable or perhaps reduce the noise somehow…)

I previously, like everyone else, used cans of compressed air but didn’t like the vapor they left behind and you don’t really get much in a can.

I took the plunge and Holy Hell does this thing blow. A normal pc clean for me takes about 30 minutes but using this it took 15. Absolutely incredibly. This air duster packs a punch. I didn’t think I would see so much dust fly out if my PC power supply. It is dry and powerful, unlike the canned compressed air that covers everything with propellant. Perhaps, on the downside one might find it a little heavy but I am certainly NOT giving it back. As a computer technician, I highly recommend this product.

Brilliant product that definitely does what it says on the box! Effectively clears out dust from my PC and my mum uses it to do her fake plants and blinds. Only issues are that it can get a little warm (although to be fair it’s pretty powerful so using it for really long periods isn’t overly necessary) and to be fair as much as it will save me money in the long run due to not having to by air canisters on a regular basis, I can’t help but think that 50 is a tad steep. Saying that though, I have no regrets and thoroughly recommend. Just remember that if you are using it for something fragile or that isn’t secured that you may want to hold them whilst using! This thing is pretty powerful.

This product worked better than I was expecting, while it blew all the dust out a sealed fan cooler which I was really shocked, the intake filter at base of unit needs to be cleaned after use, I couldn’t see anywhere on the steps to remove and clean it, I had no issues doing so, but some might not know the need to do so.

Overall I think its a great product and worth the price, just word of warning, don’t use it for long periods of time, it does get warm.

If there is Any dust left lurking around after using this then it has been stuck on with superglue! You could probably use this as a leaf and/or snow blower as well, it is that powerful.
Yes it Is pricey, so are your computer parts that would become clogged up with dust if you do not keep them clean, which is exactly what this will do. Very easy to use, just remember to use it in short bursts I would imagine. I am extremely pleased with the power of this for its size. It comes with 3 nozzles of varying shapes, about the only thing that I might add to this would be a flexible length of hose to get into those hard to reach areas, although with the power of this it isn’t really needed but would complete a very good setup.

I use this product to remove dust from my desktop PC and consoles. This product does what it says in the box pretty much. It has a few nozzles but the narrowest one produces quite a bit of air pressure.

It removes the majority of dust with ease, from PCBs to radiators and heatsinks. I’d recommend pairing this duster with some anti-static bushes to removed the more “baked in” dust. Together, my components look like new.

This is so ridiculously superior to cans of compressed air, it’s not even funny. However, for the price, it would be nice to include an airflow regulator like on the “pro” version of the duster. It shouldn’t be 10 extra for a switch that’s a good idea at stock. A softer jet of air would be nice for PSUs for example, for when you can’t prevent the fan from rotating yet you still want to blow out what dust you can safely.

I’ve only had it a week (cleaned out a pc, 2 Xbox one’s and a PS4) but it’s a great gadget and as it is, it’s a good buy. I can’t speak for longevity but I’ll update this if I experience any issues.

I chose this Electric duster over cans of compressed air after carefully reading reviews. I have an expensive piece of greeting card creasing/folding equipment and needed something to blow paper dust off the sensors, and I certainly didn’t want to risk inadvertently squirting any liquid onto them. There was a glitch in the delivery from Amazon so I contacted the seller, RGS Group, direct. They were brilliant to deal with, they sorted the problem and I received the item the next morning. A few quick puffs of air and my machine is working again. The electric duster is sturdy, feels like very good quality, and is extremely easy to use. I’m delighted with the product and even more delighted with the excellent service I received from RGS.

I brought this to help clean out the Dust in my PC and to save money on air compressors cans.

The performance is amazing, I tried it on 3 things, my gaming pc, keyboard and Fan. The power is pretty good and powerful, it does make a lot of noise to please take that into consideration, but in a way thats good because least you know it works and is doing the job you paid for it to do.

The result on the Keyboard was amazing, got rid of all the dust and crumbs and made it easier to notice what was dust and what needed to be cleaned down. Second item I tested was my Tower Fan, now normally you would open the fan and clean it out that way, but with my fan you cant open it without damaging the seal and ruining the warranty, so instead I used this and it got rid of all the dust build up from the inside, making the performance for the Fan much more better. Lastly was the PC, now I took my pc apart and used this to clean out the fans and inside my pc case to get rid of dust hiding away, it work well on all my parts and didn’t damage them, it also didn’t create any moist, so no worries about that. My pc is working perfectly without any issues.

I will say this, when using this product. It doesn’t have a speed/power level, only a on or off switch, and you have to hold down to keep on. Also push it in small burst and dont hold down for long because you will risk burning it out.

Overall im really happy with this product, and for the money I paid for it, it does the job without fail.

The power in this thing is phenomenal, so keep a good distance from components when cleaning them, some of the more delicate ones may get damaged. Has three fittings included, one power setting and quite a long cable, around two meters long.

Cleared my components in seconds, I’d recommend doing the first clean outside though, there was an enormous cloud of dust that I never expected from my PC, but this thing tackled it no problem. Again, please be careful with delicate components as this thing is powerful!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy Sony laptop’s fan was very noisy and it was overheating with core temperatures around 90 degrees C! I have previously used cans of compressed air to clear the vents but have always worried about the occasional and unpredictable spray of liquid propellant that they produce. Although pricey this gadget blows dry air at high pressure, certainly equal to or greater than the compressed air cans. It worked perfectly with a drop in core temperature to between 40 and 50 degrees C. It is also useful for blowing dust off the tracks and other structures on my model railway! Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe momentary switch is quite difficult to use, especially in hard to reach places, like a PC… A standard rocker switch would’ve been a better option. The overall build quality is excellent, and it is VERY powerful, it’s almost as good as an air compressor blower attachment. The power chord is very long, I’d estimate around 3 meters, and the braided cable is a nice touch.

If you’re good with electronics, I would definitely replace the switch, which I will probably be doing at some point, but I’m not sure if this would void your warranty.

Overall though, it is a very good product, and makes cleaning your PC, or just dusting your home in general, very easy. It’s just the power switch that let’s it down in my opinion. If it weren’t for the switch, it would be a 5 star review from me.

I have a lot of vintage hifi, as well as several computers (my main multi-processor workstation has five fans, which attract a lot of dust) and all of these need regular cleaning to keep them working.

After nearly blowing myself up (and burning my legs) after a tin of compressed air I was using on an old CD player caught fire, I realised it’s time to find a non-flammable solution.

I probably spend 25-40 a year on compressed air cans, so this should pay for itself quite quickly.

This is a VERY powerful duster – much more powerful, in fact, than I had expected: not only will it blow CDs and DVDs off their shelves, but it can also topple my Thrustmaster joystick over – there’s no way a tin of compressed air can do that! It cleans the inside of computers or other electrical items extremely well.

But that’s not all it’s good for – I’ve used it for general cleaning around the flat, and it is also very useful for cleaning underneath/behind central heating radiators (I couldn’t believe how much dust gathers under there until I used this machine!) and it is also excellent for cleaning my Venetian blinds, which haven’t looked so clean for years.

    The only negatives are:

    1. You have to hold the button down to use it – there is no “permanently on until you release it” switch, like on many hand tools – once you release the “on” button, it stops. This can make it a little awkward to use at times, as well as making it more difficult to use for several minutes at a time. I imagine that this was deliberate, to avoid overheating, but I’ve used it for up to 15 minutes at a time and it didn’t seem to overheat, so I don’t know why they couldn’t include such a switch.

    2. The filter gets blocked pretty quickly – not sure why this is, but it’s quite small, which could be the problem.

Overall, a highly recommended, but not perfect, piece of equipment.

I’ve been looking for a decent alternative to the expensive option of buying cans of compressed air for some time and this device came to my attention. The customer reviews seemed to give it general praise so I decided to take the plunge myself and give it a whirl.

The unit is solidly built and comes with a bag containing three different nozzle attachments which are attached to the device by simply sliding it over the end and giving it a slight twist to lock it in place. Also in the box is a brief instruction manual, the first three pages of which are in English but it’s very easy to understand and you can be up and running in no time.

Operation of this unit is a breeze (excuse the pun), you simply fit the required nozzle and plug into a wall socket, aim the nozzle at your target and press (and hold) the switch on top of the handle with your thumb. The blast of air produced is far more effective than any can of compressed air on the market that I can think of and I’ve used many.
The base of this unit has an air filter which can be pulled out, cleaned and refitted quite easily and I found that the cloud of dust produced from my tower PC very quickly got sucked into this filter and needed to cleaned twice on this one job alone. Not a problem really and it shows that it’s performing its intended task well. However, I would recommend using it outside as otherwise you will end up with dust everywhere but at least there is a reasonable length of flex attached which is around 3 metres long.

This power duster is fitted with a 500 watt blower motor rated at 4.0 amps and comes fitted with a UK three pin power plug. The overall power rating is 0.75 Horsepower and the mains input power is 220 – 240V. It weighs around 0.8 Kg/1.8 lb.

If you’re looking for an effective power duster alternative to canned air then I can highly recommend this one. I’ve definitely said goodbye to the cans and, although initially expensive, I’m sure that it will pay for itself many times over in the long run.

Buy with confidence! You won’t be disappointed!

Nice quality item with braided power cable that’s a great length too. Far better build quality than I was expecting for the price. This also has a very powerful air flow, makes dust cleaning pc’s crazy easy. Only down sides I can find are the position of the switch is a little awkward to use at first but you get used to it, it does get warm quickly but you won’t be having it on long enough for it to ever be an issue. Also the filter at the bottom picks up some of the dust you blow out, so you need to keep the black gauze clean, this is simple though so again no issue. I’d happily recommend it to anyone.

I never thought anything would replace the cans of compressed air that I’ve been buying for years, but this thing has changed all that!

Either on or off (much like the cans) this directs a really strong blast of air at whatever it is you want to clean. Dust bunnies on the insides of computers don’t stand a chance and with the aid of a little paintbrush (I mean artist little rather than decorator little), all dust is banished. Maybe the blast of air isn’t as focused as that coming from a tiny aerosol nozzle, but that doesn’t seem to matter. The braided mains cord (fitted with a UK plug) is nice and long and with the unit being reasonably light it’s very easy to use. My only niggle is that the ‘On’ button is mounted on top meaning you need to press it with your thumb thereby weakening your grip on the handle. A trigger style switch might have been better but for the short blasts you need it’s not much of a drawback.

Won’t be buying any more of those compressed air cans now, and come the summer this thing will even be able to surprise the odd fly or two!!

I really like the product, and ignoring the price it would be an easy 5 starts from me. Very powerful airstream from the outlet on the front, and I don’t find it gets too hot even though lots of other reviews say this is an issue. I always ensure to use it in short bursts, as it says in the manual, but even holding the button down for a decently long time doesn’t give me overheating concerns. The duster seems very well built, and feels premium in the hand (plus the braided power cable is a nice touch, although does tend to get tangled a little too easily).
However, the price does seem a little too high for what is essentially a plastic housing, a motor, a blower fan and a few plastic nozzles. As premium as it feels, the complexity of the device is not that high, and I feel that because it’s a somewhat niche market, the price has undergone the same premium treatment. I’d also like the power button to perhaps be made into a trigger in a future version, as the current placement is a little out of the way of a normal grip on the handle. All that said, I am happy with my purchase, and all my computers as well as my home are now much more dust-free!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve recently acquired an ex-business PC as a modding project.

Although it’s fairly recent, and in surprisingly good shape externally, the inside was thick with dust and fluff: a serious clean was needed before proceeding further.

Vacuum cleaners are a no-no for this task: compressed air is the standard recommendation.

Although I started by thinking of ordering disposable cans, I wasn’t very happy on practical, economical or ecological grounds – they tend to spit fluid as they near total evacuation, there’s the question of propellant as well as the recycling of cans and the ordering and transportation of more, and they’re quite pricey unless you buy in bulk.

A bit of further research suggested this as an obvious solution, so I placed my order and received it the next day.

Extremely happy with it: since we have a covered car port I took the PC outside and, taking care that all fans were wedged so as not to get damaged, set to work.

The finest nozzle of the three did a fantastic job. Other reviewers have mentioned the Air Duster running hot if kept on for too long at a go, but I was using shortish bursts – in fact I found that the position of the switch made it quite tricky to keep it down for too long; if by design, a clever ruse, if by mistake, a useful error.

I was so happy with the job that the other PCs in the house were subjected to the same treatment – although nothing like as bad as the gift PC, they all benefitted from the same treatment.

There’s something deeply satisfying about successful cleaning, so while I was in the mood, I experimented with some other items – tumble drier filters, the insides of vacuum cleaner and mower: all came up really well.

I’m sure I’ll find yet more uses for this, but it’s already proved its usefulness, and I’m happy to give it the highest recommendation.

Amazing product, you can say the price is too much for what it does, however if you factor in how much potential cans you have and could be using, I would say this is well worth it. On-top of that this product eliminates the fear of condensed liquid left by the cans which can clump up dust and make it stick on the equipment.

It literally took seconds from the duster to clear out the majority of the dust on my PC equipment and tower, which would have taken alot longer with the compressed air, and I could have easily went through around 2-4 of them.

The duster does go warm after some usage, just make sure you only hold the button to activate it in spurts (like you would with normal compressed air). Although the duster is pretty powerful, it failed to clear certain areas with small specs of dust on the surface, where a wipe down or q-tip was needed.

    Overall highly recommend this!

I wanted this Air Duster for a couple months now and decided to pick it up since I was getting annoyed by the increasing amount of noise coming from my PC fans and the amount of dust that was clogging all of the fans. When I got it I couldn’t wait to use it and I wasn’t disappointed.
I was actually surprised about how powerful it was and how easily it blew the dust out of my PC. I bought some brushes, thinking I might have to brush more stubborn parts out. I used the duster and came to find there was absolutely no dust left in my PC. From just using the duster for 5 minutes my PC was completely dust free. It was so unbelievable.
The attachments make cleaning so easy. There is nothing more that needs to be said. Just a great product all around.
If you want to clean anything at all this is the thing to get. It will blow dust and general nastiness out of anything.
Fair warning though. This isn’t a quite device. It sounds like a small hoover and is powerful enough to push very light objects so just be careful what you dust around.
    Absolutely recommend whole heartily.

I bought this item to help keep my PC clean – I removed all of the dust filters as I felt that they were doing a better job at reducing the airflow than stopping dust and dirt getting inside. I used to use compressed air cans but they’re quite expensive and don’t really last very long with how often I’m using them. This product is expensive at first but it’s something you only buy once so it will pay for itself within a year (in my case).

It’s hard to imagine how powerful the air is until you use it, I was pleasantly surprised when I first turned it on. It completely got rid of all of the dust inside my PC, even dust I didn’t even know was there. (Side note – if you’re going to be using this for the same purpose, hold any fans still. This will spin them at a speed far greater than they’re rated for and you could possibly damage the bearings).

This product is good for what it does, you get the air duster and 3 filters to help you choose which one you need, I’m using to clean out old consoles and my PC and I’ve had no issues, if your worried about static, don’t be as I have had no issues like this. But I do think for the price, it’s not worth it. I would recommend this at a lower price and I do wish it had more options as the only 2 are blow and…don’t blow.

I used to buy spray cans for the product shoot I do, and then I decided to buy this in order to reduce my impact in the pollution of the planet and save some money in the long run. Totally worth it. The only critic is that the button should have been placed in a more easy to access place, few cm from where it is now. Other than that is just perfect, in my opinion.

  65. Anonymous says:

This is one of those items and you know where it’s been money well spent. When it comes to having to clean the inside of your PC, you absolutely hate it. To do it right, you have to haul out all of the parts “depending on your case” and clean them individually. When it comes to the power supply you have to be very careful because even when unplugged, you can still get a powerful electrical discharge from it as I did at one point in my life.

So now I just leave all parts in, then give it a blast with the “IT DUSTER”, then clean the filters and give stubborn fan blades a wipe with wet wipes and the job is done in around 35 minutes.

Now when you use this blower, I would advise taking the base unit outside or having a hover on at the same time because depending on when you last cleaned your system, there will be a lot of dust flies about. I was lucky as all 3 adapters belong to the blower was also able to fit the end of my hover as well.

My system ran at 27 degrees on ideal and I see now it has dropped to 23 degrees.
As for the smell when you start it for the first time, It’s because of the small motor in it and it quickly goes away after about 10 minutes of use.

Also I have 6 fans in my system and after they were blew and cleaned, the system seemed quieter.

As for photos with this review, you really don’t need any as what you see advertised is what you get.

All I would say though, If they added a bendable extension adaptor this would be really handy for getting around thoughts tough places in the case. Now that would be good. Maybe they will add this in the next version.

I would give this product a defo 10/10 and is well worth the money.

After having recently built a new gaming PC with a windowed side panel, keeping it clean from dust has been a constant battle. I usually take the sides off a give it a blast with compressed gas every week as well as vacuum the filter. Just to keep it looking good and not to get to the stage where you end up with a layer of dust which you then have to scrub out with a brush.

There are problems with compressed gas cans though. They are only good for a very short time before they become freezing cold and lose their power. They then have to be left to acclimatise before being useful again. The power dwindles as the can becomes more empty too, a full can packs much more of a punch than a half empty can. They can’t be used upside down as you will end up spraying freezing propellant all over your components which could be disastrous.
Not to mention the cost and environmental effects of using these cans constantly.

In steps the CompuCleaner. This thing blows, in a good way! No loss of power and has much more power than a compressed can. So much more so that I advise you use it with caution. Remember to hold your fans still as well when you pass over them with this, don’t let them twirl. It’s about as load as a standard vacuum cleaner and you press and hold the little button on top to start it up. Annoyingly you have to depress the button towards the top edge which is not a natural position. You should be pressing the button at the bottom edge.

You get three attachments. One which is a very wide, spade type to spread over a large service area and then a more focused cone-type which is in the middle of the three. Finally a very fine tip which produces a very powerful stream. I’ve personally only used the middle type cone to clean the PC.

I’ve only used this thing once but straight away can say I won’t be going back to compressed gas!

Like a couple of other people I have seen in the reviews, I stumbled upon this whilst looking for a new can of air duster to clean the dust out of my computer. When I saw this pop up I wan intrigued. The price put me off at first, but then I saw it as an investment, I was spending at least 3 a can before, although the price seems to go up every time I need some. A can would roughly clean my computer and keyboard out 2 or 3 times. So the money soon adds up.

As for the product itself, it cleans much more effectively than the can counterpart, it does get warm like others have said, but I used it rather generously in short bursts and even then it was only slightly warm to the touch.

Overall, this is an amazing product and I just wish that I had known of it’s existence years ago!

I’ve used it on two PC’s and two keyboards so far. It works extremely well at getting all the loose dust and all the other little particles out of the hard to reach nooks and crannies. It makes your PC look almost brand new again and save you loads time and effort maintaining it.

I took some extra safety steps and made sure to hold all my fan blades in each area of my PC I was cleaning, making sure they didn’t spin, just in case! I also kept my PC grounded by keeping it an extension lead but with the PSU switched off. Also, make sure to discharge any remaining power in the capacitors by pressing the power button on your PC after turning off the PSU.

    Happy dusting!!

Golden Review Award: 52 From Our UsersJust a little background info – we are a gaming family, 3 massive gaming rigs in the house. Cleaning these with cans was expensive enough. And then I came across this beauty…. I have to say, I was a little sceptical but decided to bite the bullet after reading all these positive reviews and, oh boy, Im so glad I did.

    Pros:
Powerfull! Really, cans of air are pathetic in comparison.
Steady stream of air, unlike cans there is no dips in stream power.
Dry air, one thing that always worried me when I was using cans was the moisture coming out.
Money saving! In the long run it will save you a lot of money. It may take longer for some to get the return out of it, but for someone like me who is cleaning 3 pcs every month its a must have item.

    Cons:
I really didnt find any… some reviewers mentioned it getting hot real fast – mine doesnt seem to do it. Maybe because I use it mostly in few seconds blasts, but I had it run continuously for about a minute several times and it was ok. Sure it got warm, but I didn’t find it dangerously hot.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving been cleaning my rig with the 5 cans of compressed air that have a horrible stench and don’t work upside down, I decided that enough is enough and to look for an alternative. I stumbled upon the Air Duster and at first the idea of spending 45 on something that I only use once in a blue moon seemed a bit much, but I’m glad I did.

I have dust filters fitted to all entry points to my case. I’d regularly been cleaning it, and I thought that there was little dust clogging the system inside. My CPU had started to run a little hot when idle, I am using a Corsair H100i AIO Cooler, and this has reduced the temperatures by upwards of 10 degrees.

Always spray out of the case from the inside and keep your case grounded at all times when using. As mentioned by other reviewers, mine didn’t come with any form of brush in the box, just the three nozzles pictured. I would also advise that you use this product in a well ventilated area and wear a dust mask (I did the former but not the latter, regretted it so next time I will be wearing a mask).

Forget the canned air, buy one of these as an investment. It will repay you extremely quickly.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWorks like a charm and much better than using compressed air and causing more wastage. It is really powerful, more powerful than compressed air and doesn’t cause issues when used for longer than 5 seconds, no cold air, no freezing can, no jet stream loss.

Because of the power it is advisable to use it in a place with open air or where you don’t mind dust clouds. It is mains powered so you are more restricted for movement, the adapter you get with it are not as intricate as the narrow tube you get with a can. You also cannot regulate the airflow so its powerful or nothing so delicate electronics could be damaged.

I use it for cleaning my dusty pc and the wife uses it for blowing the dust off our artificial plant leaves and blinds, so it does have multiple uses and is slightly better for the environment.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersBought to clean out dusty interior of PC. Definitely a must buy. While it seems expensive, it is definitely something that will pay for itself in the fairly quickly.
It comes with only three nozzle attachments and not with a flexible hose like in previous model which can be seen in some other reviewer’s photo. Personally I like the one shown attached in the photo, rather than the one that looks like a hair dryer attachment (it feels the weakest out of the three, but might be useful for jobs that doesn’t require intense force) or the one with a really focused nozzle (doesn’t seem as powerful as the remaining nozzle, and it heats up the device a lot quicker).
Does not come with brushes as expected, and the switch offers only a single intensity which you have to hold in place to keep it operating.

It loses a mark because it gets warm really quickly and does take a while to cool back down and personally the switch is too high out of the reach of my thumb to be comfortable and secure in my hand. An additional spare filter would have been nice too.

This really does outperform the cans of air. Unlike cans which need to be held upright this works in any orientation, it starts stronger and maintains it’s strength than a brand new can.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHigh price is understandable when taking into account the good design and quality construction. Two metre power lead makes life easy and the three included nozzle attachments increase usability. Operation is via a dead man’s switch placed under the thumb. The power output cannot be regulated, which is unfortunate due to the hurricane like force this air blower is capable of. The noise it generates approaches vacuum cleaner levels. In conclusion, a worthwhile buy.

Surprisingly powerful. I’ve been using the cans for decades so was sceptical of change. Glad I did. Does the job. Not worried about running out all the time and postponing a good clean out. Keep the hoover on nearby to collect the dust, just don’t stick the hoover nozzle into your motherboard knocking off a capacitor as a mate did once though! It is powerful – I used it against a working PC fan and it reversed its direction, so don’t do it whilst the pc is on!

Golden Review Award: 145 From Our UsersIs it a good product? yes.

Is it overpriced? In my opinion it’s also a yes.

They seem to have found a niche, and that niche being that no one else really sells electric dust blowers designed specifically for “electronics”, and it seems to be working for them.

Allow me to reiterate again that this is a solid product, and for that reason it receives 4/5, however why am I not giving it 5/5?

I just can’t seem to justify the price, you can buy other “leaf blowers” with ADJUSTABLE settings for half the price of this item, now it’s an unfair comparison as it’s not taking into account the quality of the cheaper items, but this blower itself doesn’t exactly scream high quality either.

Long story short, good product, but definitely overpriced.

Would recommend to others but would say exactly the same thing i’ve said in this review to them.

The Compu Cleaner is very handy at cleaning out most of the dust in seconds, but make sure you either use it outside, or in an airy environment, as the dust flies everywhere. Also wear some kind of mask and goggles, especially if the PC or whatever you’re cleaning is very dusty.

This is much better than the compressed air cans, you can tilt it whichever way you want and it blows much harder than any can I’ve used. It will most likely last you longer than any air can (provided it doesn’t break down) and in the long run, be more cost effective.

I highly reccomend this thing. I can’t get enough of blowing dust out of electronics, everything is gonna get this treatment now.

A very powerfull blower, just the thing for removing dust from awkward places in a computer or other electrical equipment.
It is reasonably light to handle and the three air nozzles give a varied flow of air from the blower.
I would advise holding the computer fans while in use in case of possible damage to them.
A great item for the price.

Like others, I had been using canned air to clean my PC but was always worried about the inevitable moisture coming out.
I took delivery this morning and have just spent ten minutes giving my venerable PC a good spring clean.
BE WARNED, this thing is far better than any can and do not attempt to clean your PC indoors! The volume of dust and crud this thing shifts has to be seen to be believed.
My PC looks (almost) new inside, despite being eight years old.
    Highly recommended.

Great little air blower, it’s very powerful and did the job it was purchased for, cleaning the air vents and debris from under the keys of my laptop, and I also used it to dust my ornaments, I have a large collection of pewter ornaments which are normally dusted with a brush, which takes forever to do, a quick blast with this air duster had them looking great.
Only complaint is that it’s a little bit awkward to hold steady in use because of the sheer power the air comes out at.

After using air duster cans for a long time, very expensive and really didn’t get the job done, that and some failed to work. I had to use dusters to clean the fan blades in a PC afterwards for a better job afterwards.

The package arrived safely and was well packed. This is way powerful than a air duster can and makes cleaning the inside of a PC way faster. Though do keep hold of the fans as this thing can really spin them about. There was no need to take off the cumbersome radiator off from my Corsair H80i as well from the case as this thing was powerful enough to blow the dust away.

Both PC’s had been cleaned recently and thought I redo them again and the amount of dust still inside a case made this a sure winner. Also cleaned the Playstation 4 fan since there was heating issues and it runs again without problems.

To save money, would recommend replacing this for your aerosol air duster cans.

If your PC is overheating a lot due to dust, I highly recommend this. I had been near unable to play high end games on my PC due to what I suspected was dust clogging up the radiator on my CPU cooler. I’m not sure if that was the problem, but using the CompuCleaner definitely fixed it.

It fired a very strong blast of air, so I would be careful, and hold your fans down. Also use in small bursts as it can get hot. But it really does get rid of the dust in a way an aircan wouldn’t.

The only negative point I can think of is the strange smell mine seemed to produce. It wasn’t overpowering but was slightly unpleasant. Not sure if this was just mine, as I haven’t read aboyt it anywhere else. It could’ve been because it was new.

I cannot speak for the longterm use of it, but I suspect it will continue to be useful.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOh yes, no more compressed air sprays for cleaning my computer and other dusty areas! When I first plugged it in this is how it went:

    1. – 0.5 stars: I went to press the button to start it and said out loud, “WTF is this on button, it’s the wrong way around”. (It needs rotating 180deg, I might be able to do this myself, it looks easy enough to open). -1/2 star for that

    2. +5 stars: Then when it turned on I instantly got a good blast of air out of it, YES! Took the side of my PC and shoved in there, literally blew the air can dusters away, just awesome. Then turned it on my shelves where I can’t get to easily and dusted them too!

    3. – 0.5 stars: The button again. It’s hold to activate, I think they done this for a reason (maybe), the device gets a little hot if you keep it on and I think this is why it has the hold button down to activate mechanism. I’m only going to be using it to clean computers so doubt I will push it that much. I really dont like holding it down especially when it’s facing the wrong way (needs rotating 180deg).

    4. +1 and then -1 stars: It’s fairly well made, can’t see any issues with that, good latch mechanic on the nozzles, but the choice of nozzles is a bit poor. 1 is good (pointy on on it in the picture), cloud have done with a nozzle that was thinner and pointier to get into smaller spaces.

    4 Stars…

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI used to use the aerosol compressed air cans to blow the dust and bits out of my sewing machines until I saw my son using one of these for his computers. I do a lot of sewing so this is fantastic for keeping my machines clean. I also found it invaluable for cleaning behind radiators where even the long dusters don’t reach. A fabulous gadget for all sorts of uses still to be discovered…..

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

If I did have one gripe it’s that the airflow isn’t quite as powerful as many have pointed out, even with the thin nozzle. While it does remove the vast majority of dust. The fine dust that can stick to surfaces does not come off. Inside and outside of computer cases can have a very thin film of fine dust.

Again, this is a very minor gripe and I recommend this to everyone!

Overall, it’s the best in its league.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersOk let’s be honest this is not cheap to buy but you need to look at it as an investment.

This is incredibly powerful and a great bit of kit way better than the air cans which are one shot wonders then have to be disposed of.

The power is amazing and dry air I am very pleased with the product and am sure this will keep various PCs and laptops dust free for years to come.

you Can still feel the power from a good 6 feet plus!

    Brilliant investme

This thing blew me and my PC away, in 30 seconds i had my PC cleaned of all dust. I was in the market for something long term to keep my PC and other devices clean this is just the device.

Very fast shipping to Ireland for free deliver!

    Pros
    – Enough air to blow you over.
    – Air intake filter. Be sure to clean after every use as it pulls in lots of dust.
    – Small and compact.
    – Device attachments
    – UK Plug and adapter for US

    Cons
    – Device does get warm, but from my use dose not seem to over heat/get to hot. Hot air is probably going to happen when a 500 watt motor is driving it.
    – This one not so much a con but something to be aware of. The box it came in. I received it in a “CompuCleaner” box but it didn’t say it was the “original 2”. On closer inception a sticker had the name on it and the model number matched.

I can defiantly suggest this if you reading reviews on this and thinking of getting one. This device is simply great!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersShould Have Bought One of These Ages Ago lol
    PROS:
    1: Great Build Quality
    2: Quality Thick Plastic Used
    3: Nice Design
    4: Smaller Than it Looks
5: Powerful As F … I must admit, i didn’t think it would work … i haven’t cleaned my expensive pc for a year & it was not looking good at all … but this brought it back to how it looked when i first built it. I’m truly shocked at how well this thing removes thick fine static dust with ease, when brushing will not. I’m not going to pretend to care about the environment & all that rubbish … but this gives you waaaaay better cleaning results than a spray can of air could ever achieve.
    CONS:
One Tiny issue … i know they did this as a safety precaution .. BUT … the power power has to be held down while in use, which gets really annoying after a while. ( First World Problems & all That LOL )

I read tons of reviews on this product & some reported that version 1 had overheating issues … which is why i bought version 2 which operates perfectly without overheating.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersExtremely powerful cleaner – used it to clean the inside of my PC and was surprised (and a little worried) by the amount of dust that came flying out. Was initially worried that it may be too powerful and blow some components out of place but this was not the case. One word of advice is that anyone with breathing issues (asthma, etc) should probably wear a mask when using this as it does tend to blow dust everywhere!

Powerful! Keep the filter clean. Use for short periods as recommended. Has saved me a fortune in air dusters. I work in IT but bought this for home use. I have two desktops in a conservatory (we have a dog and the back door is always open in the summer) so the insides of the pc’s get very dusty and the fans often have hair/dust in them. This is a great product in my opinio

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersAfter using tons of compressed air and having to be extra careful to not let the liquid in those get on equipments, this product is a miracle and time saver. No more having to get that extra air out of the can moment. I have used this product to blow out dust from TV, Sky Box and laptops after a home renovation and found this perfect for the job. Before using this product read the instructions, as it does say not to use it for really long periods, due to the unit heating up. I have also used this product to remove crumbs and dust in between the tight spots of the car seats, consoles and carpets. Good product to use and I would highly recommend it to any gadget lover tech enthusiasts, PC repair guy or anyone else who wants to get a dust free surface.

Very good product. Worked as expected, soon cleaned all the dust out of my PC. I’m hoping this purchase will pay for itself with time as I won’t be buying canned air to clean my PC.
It comes well packaged with different nozzles and operating it is very simple. It also arrived sooner than expected so I was quite happy with that.

Well worth buying if you are concerned with dust build up in your PC, with this product you don’t have to worry about the air running low or stray liquid shooting out of the can onto your computer components.

Golden Review Award: 80 From Our UsersI have previously used cans of compressed air for cleaning out my computer but they are quite expensive for what they are because they don’t last for long and also tend to spray freezing propellant out onto your components (the propellant evaporates away but it’s still not ideal!)

I came across the CompuCleaner whilst actually looking to purchase some more cans of compressed air so thought I’d give this a shot considering all the positive reviews.

I’m very impressed with the product. It’s fairly small and light, with a long power cable and comes with 3 different nozzle attachments. Mine also came with a 3 pin UK plug fitted but also (unusually) came with a UK 3 pin to European 2 pin adapter in the box (travel adapter).

Performance-wise it’s surprisingly powerful, easily as powerful as the cans of compressed air I have used before. I only use it in short bursts anyway (and that’s also how I used cans of compressed air) and it does not get too hot when used in this manner. It’s a 550W high speed motor so it will get warm if you hold the button down for minutes at a time.

There is no variable speed on this model it’s simply on or off and you have to hold the button down for it to work.

When I first used the product there was a fairly odd strong plastic ‘new’ smell but that seems to have faded after repeated uses.

I dare say I will find some other things other than computers to clean with it!

Really happy with it and highly recommend!

I was going to buy cans at first but I just decided to look around for something like this and I’m 100% glad that I did. Wow. It’s done such a GOOD job cleaning my pc. I didnt think it was that dirty anyways but I can see a difference in temps after cleaning, thats how well it did it’s job. It is much smaller and lighter than I actually thought it would be so that is good. Only thing I wished it had was the option to just leave it on whilst cleaning if you wanted but you have to keep your finger on the power button. Also it’s easy to use just plug in power cord, fit in your nozzle of choice, press and clean. Overall I am happy with the product so far. I just hope it lasts.

I am a work from home picture framer, when putting the work together l often found the odd bit of dust between the glass and the mount/picture, l was considering purchasing an air compressor, these were quite expensive, bulky, and would take up valuable floor space, whilst browsing for internet for cans of air l came across the compucleaner, l compared it to other manufacturers models and decided on this as it was what l needed, low cost, powerful, small and easy to use. I have had no issues with dust under the glass since l started using the compucleaner, in fact l have used it for numerous jobs to remove dust, my hoover for example, l have not had to use it over long periods as it blows dust out very quickly so l can not state weather it gets hot or not. A brilliant bit of kit, free and quick postage.

Finally, an air compressor that dose as stated. Wasn’t expecting it to be so powerful. Provided you follow the instructions this is a great alt to cans of air. One ten second burst threw up alot of dust. I wish i had bought the more expensive set with extra attachments! Thought it wouldnt work, when infact its great. The carry/storage bag is a good size and seems durable. Remember to pin your fans as this will spin them very fast when cleaning a pc. Its so good i have done my PC,TV, xbox 360,tumble drier. Its like a hand held leaf blower. Really good product. 5/5 from me.
