Very easy to set up following the YouTube video. Bike is sturdy and the seat relatively comfortable, and I’m able to ride standing up with no issues. Easy to adjust too, and doesn’t make much noise.
It is, however, quite a large bike. I’m 5ft6, and I have the seat and handle bars as low as they will go, and the seat as far forwards as it goes and it’s only just about comfortable. Would not recommend for shorter folk!
My only other gripe is that the display beeps offensively loudly when you start riding, and there seems to be no way to switch the sound off/down on the unit.

Great bike, sturdy and comparable to Gym versions I have used in the past. the computer is basic but does the job.
Sturdy spin bike – heavy fly wheel – I recommenced to my friend who has also purchased one.
This is a great bike. I love it. Don’t make the basic error I made, if ur short (I’m 4ft 10), pls just measure your leg before you buy, it only just fits me! It’s silent during use, it was fairly easy to assemble, which I did by myself. It’s sturdy and strong, im glad I bought it, can highly recommend.
Its just great .everything about it is great putting it together was so easy it took 20 mins . I’ve been doing on line spin classes .
Bought this after purchasing a cheaper spin bike which was just not up to the job. Early days but thought this was well worth money feels as good if not better than spin bike I use at my gym . Really pleased . Solid and easy to assemble was a few days late with delivery which is the only slight grinch

Had bought a cheaper bike on Amazon which basically turned out to be a disaster so replaced it with this JLL model.. customer service was great. JLL called me to arrange a convenient delivery time. Bike took no time to set up at all and I am amazed at how sturdy it is for a budget price! well recommended for those who don’t wanna fork out for a Peleton bike but still want quality!

Way cheaper than a fancy smart bike, but just as rewarding. Service from JLL was first rate. Ordered Friday evening, contacted Saturday, delivered Monday.
Really good product. Bike is really sturdy, stable and quiet. Had a couple of issues with delivery (no fault of JLL’s) which their customer service team were very quick to respond to and put right. Cannot fault either product or company. Very happy!
I’m very happy with this spinning bike. It’s a solid bike, runs smooth and quite quiet on the belt-drive, and gives you all the workout you put into it! It was pretty easy to put together – the YouTube video that they’ve created on how to do this is really useful and makes the process quite straightforward. The resistance knob is smooth and responsive, and handlebars are comfortable to grip throughout a varied training session. Handlebars and seat are fully adjustable which means you can set the bike up to best suit your build. I’ve used this bike 4 – 5 times a weeks since I got it a month or so ago and I can’t fault it. I’ve fitted a tablet holder to the handlebars, and use online spinning classes from Studio Sweat on Demand for my workouts – the bike and classes make a great team!

Took a while to arrive but great product. Lucky enough there is a video on YouTube with step by step instructions to assemle which took us around 30 min to do, without this it would have taken longer. Very sturdy and strong. It is around 50 KG so be aware of that if needed to go upstairs as it is very heavy. Only issue is that the seat is very hard and uncomfortable, but we managed to purchase a cushioned seat cover with resolved this issue. Would highly recommend.
I’m writing this having assembled the bike but before a serious exercise session. Impressions:
1. unit comes in two boxes, main box very heavy, two person job to lift it
2. assembly easy, about 30-40 mins once unboxed.
3. build quality feels EXCELLENT
4. the computer panel is minimal, just the basic readout — for me, that’s ideal as I want to spend the money on quality of the bike itself and not some monitor system with 57 modes I won’t use.
5. The saddle should work well for me but those who like a more padded saddle may want to buy one as an additional item — should be easy to fit on once you see how the default one fits.
Overall impressed so far!

Easy enough to assemble, I wouldn’t bother with the supplied spanner though, use decent tools. The bike itself arrived undamaged and seems a quality bike, its smooth and quiet and is very sturdy. Good bike for the price.

Upon unpacking the boxes and commencing assembly I did discover 2 issues. Firstly, after a quick check that all parts were present I discovered the handlebars were missing from either of the boxes and from the online clip I was following they were not taped to the frame of the bike. I also realised the bike I was assembling was not the JLL IC400 ELITE but the JLL IC400 PRO which is actually the next bike up in the range. A quick mail sent via Amazon to log both issues sent I decided to complete the bike build to ensure everything else in the box was present and in order. Thankfully it was. Assembly is very easy with various online videos available, however the included manuals are easy to follow and 10 mins later the build was complete, minus handlebars. I followed up my mail with a telephone call to JLL direct the following day and issue was resolved within 10 mins. The call taker was polite, apologetic and efficient. For the inconvenience the company offered, if I was happy, to let me keep the IC400 PRo with missing handlebars sent out to complete the bike set up. A good result for me given that the price difference between products is 55 so a very decent way for JLL to resolve the issue. The product itself is an impressive piece of kit and I’m looking forward to getting started and getting rid of the Lockdown belly !

Great bike, well built, not far off a studio bike, used 4 times a week for a month now and no issues. Would recommend for this price range
It is exactly as described very sturdy as we are both a bit heavier need a good quality cycle for durability this met all expectations
Great bike for the price, easy to assemble, very quiet and comfy!! Happy with the purchase!
Really easy to assemble. I’d like it to be slightly more adjustable but for the price very good all round really.
Bought for trying to keep a bit of fitness through the Corona-coaster.
Was a rather large & heavy box. Video instructions on YouTube were invaluable (watch before unboxing to keep skin on fingers). Assembly quite straightforward, can be done by one person.
Seat is a bit more ‘comfortable’ than my ordinary bike, but not something I’d relax on.
Set for my height, 6’1, there is little leeway for seat & handles, they would seem to be quite far apart on nearest settings. Wife would like them to be able to be moved closer for a more upright ride.
Bought for the heavy flywheel, as was suggested that gives a more realistic ride. When trying LM classes you really notice it is a heavier wheel. Legs massively pumped after trying to keep up.
Pedals toe clips a bit small for me, would have been better with slightly different, but not too much of a problem.
Is very well built, and can’t see me wearing it out.

Good quality bike very pleased with it but had to buy a gel seat cover as not very comfortable. I’m 5’2″ and it’s a little big for me but perfect for my son who’s 6′ . Delivered on time too.

Had a bit of a problem with one pedal which was remedied by JLL by sending a new one lovely bike for doing spin on and my husband uses it just as a exercise bike so we are both happy!
I use the cycling exercise bike to exercise during bad weather when I cannot get out on my road bike. Once adjusted the bike is comfortable when used very closely matches the results from my Garmin Computer out on the road. So it is excellent if I cannot get out. I found none of the faults some of the reviewers mention (the seat, if properly adjusted, is just as comfortable as my road bike if I wear cycle shorts). The display is good – but could do with some instructions, rather than exploring through trial and error. In short a good product at a decent price!

Delivery via DHL was a bit more painful than via standard Amazon Prime – you have to pick a date via a link that’s texted to you – but it turned up on the day they promised, so in the end no problems.
The bike is very sturdy – it compares very well with professional gym spin bikes I’ve used in the past. The build quality is excellent – it feels very well made. And it’s really very easy to assemble too. The saddle is fully adjustable in pitch as well as height, although that’s not really highlighted in the assembly instructions, and it’s very straightforward to set up the handlebars, the seat, etc. to suit you..
The seat is admittedly a little uncomfortable, but that’s normal for spin bikes, and if it really bothers you, buy a gel seat.
One minor disappointment is that the pedals aren’t SPD-compatible, (for some reason I thought they were) but the pedals use the standard road bike 9/16 thick spindle, so you can buy any SPD or SPD-compatible pedals if you want that. I’d also recommend getting a good non-slip mat to go under the bike, especially if you have a hard floor.
Overall, I’m very impressed. I think It’s definitely worth spending a little more to get a better quality spin bike, with a heavier wheel, for use at home.

Brilliant bike, very heavy and sturdy , good quality, easy to assemble, had a problem with the toe cages not sitting straight my feet are tilting inwards , I emailed JLL and they sent some out straight away, fantastic customer service thankyou
Just had my first go on the JLL 400 Elite, and very impressed, have used other spinning bikes before at the gym and this definitely feels on par. Its well built, really quiet and easy to put together, it is quite heavy once built so make sure you assemble in the room you wish to use it in.

Those who have complained about instructions just needed to watch the YouTube video. I was doing absolutely fine with this and then my other half came along and didn’t need it. Either way, it was easy enough to put together!
It’s sturdy and provides a really decent amount of resistance – I am a long way off maxing this out.
A lot of reviews seem to focus on details I’d never even notice so I’d say if you’re in any doubt – go for it!

I loved almost everything about this bike it was all I hoped for except for the seat which was so uncomfortable but purchased a gel seat and now its 100%.
I cannot fault it at all really and i’ve now been using it for 2 weeks.
It arrived before estimated date and it took me about an hour to assemble on my own. It would be better if there was someone to help, just to lift the bike to attach the stabilisers!
Very sturdy bike and it feels well made.
I have been doing spin classes for about 4 years now and due to Lockdown with Coronavirus, our classes were cancelled. I took the plunge and ordered this bike and have been on it regularly..i love it!
I have just ordered an adaptor for the handle bar to attach my tablet, which was recommended by another person who also reviewed this bike.
If you are looking for an indoor bike, i cannot recommend this enough, im very very pleased with my purchase:))

Super quick delivery too
I am delighted with this bike in terms of quality and value for money. It was easy to build but have someone handy to hold it while you put the feet/ stabilising bars on. Its great to rid and I have just finished a spin class in my garage/ Highly recommended

Luckily i had gift vouchers so only paid 144 of my own money but worth every penny, was originally 289.99. If you’re lucky to have the space for one i would reccommend, and the customer service for the company are very friendly and helpful.

Fitted a gel seat for added comfort.

I bought this a while ago but held off review until I gave it a real test. 3/4 times a week for nearly 6 months doing peloton app and its amazing.
I bought some SPD peddles and shoes and a wahoo cadence sensor which just sticks to the crank arm and I get an amazing workou

The bike is fairly easy to assemble, I did it on my own, but I would recommend having someone else present to help hold certain items in place whilst you tighten.

The YouTube video showing how to build the bike was great and thanks to this it was quick and simple to do, I didn’t even have to refer to the instructions. All products that need assembly should have one! Take note Ikea!!!
Once built the bike is sturdy and seems good quality.
After a short ride the main criticism so far is how the resistance settings work. I’m using a popular app for spinning classes and their over priced bikes have resistance settings measured in numbers, where the instructor shouts out the resistance and cadence setting for the class to use.
On this bike you adjust resistance by simply turning a knob to tighten the brake pads on the fly wheel. There is a + and – symbol to show which way to tighten but no reference to how much resistance is now set. You will feel the resistance increase as its tightened but it would be better to have a scale so I can see how my fitness is improving over time relative to how hard a certain resistance is over that time!

tricky enough to build (especially getting the seat on for some reason), but happy with it now it is up! my only minor criticism is that it really is quite heavy…good for providing stability I guess, but I keep it upstairs and i’m not sure how I would ever get it downstairs without some assistance!

My favourite aspect is overall the dependability. I punish these bikes and they have not given me any problems. Pretty sure the resistance pad is not what it was but I don’t care – just turn it up more!
Having used the bike a few time it performs really well. It’s smooth, very sturdy and the resistance is more than enough for even a keen cyclist.
The problems I encountered with the bike all centre around the adjustable parts. The handlebars and seat are impossible to get completely solid no matter how tight the knobs are. And the horizontal seat movement is rock solid and I can only move that by tapping with a hammer.
Fortunately as the bike is just for me, I’ll be able to get around these with some pieces of plastic. Not ideal but I think overall you for the price of the bike it’s still a good buy.

I’ve ridden bikes all my life, have used a turbo trainer before but wanted a fixed spinning bike to compliment my workouts.
Heavy box, but packaged well, easy to assemble. there is a youtube video to help.
Initial look and feel of the bike is good. Its seems pretty sturdy and heavy, great flywheel gives you a great spinning feel.
Pros
Its small and compact – heavy (which is a good thing) and the wheels make it easy to move about.
Magnetic resistance is really good. The bike is very quiet in operation. great for those late night or early morning spins.
Crank and pedals seem fine and smooth
Quite a few options for height adjustment but lacks in a few areas (see cons)
Computer is fine, pulse takes a while to register but results are exactly the same as my bluetooth heart rate strap
Ive easily added a Bluetooth cadence and a speed monitor so i can hook this up to strava etc to track my workouts.
Cons
The dial screw for resistance is a bit stiff and “gritty”. Feels like its been cross threaded. Also it would have been good for the turning knob to have a “click” to it.
Not enough adjustment in the seat horizontal. Overall the bike seems to be setup for a very low down tucked time trial mode. Im just over 6ft and the seat is as far forward as i can get it.
Raising the bars to compensate are fine, but they start to wobble when on setting Max. Of all the things this is most annoying.
Computer is a bit hard to read, ANT+ compatibility would have been good to monitor external devices
The rubber pads at each corner are cheap, and as such they left a oily residue on my carpet. Not happy. Ive since put a mat underneath and still the rubber leaches oily residue on that – see picture 2. You can see the orange marks on the mat.
You have to really crank on the adjustment screws to lock the seat and seatpost in place, this stops the wobble in that area but handlebars are still an issue.
Minor point but the wheel sticker on the flywheel is a little cheesy. 🙂
Overall – a few niggles but i think its worth it for the money, considering the magnetic resistance, belt drive with a smooth and quiet operation. We get a great workout from it.
First thing i noticed when it came in to my door was the weight..This is a solid, sturdy heavy bit of kit that ain’t messing about..which is was you want if your going at fast tempo. It came almost assembled, all I had to do is wack the seat, handle bars and peddels on.(about a 15 min job)
The computer is pretty good to see what speed your going, but i wouldn’t trust the calorie counter too much since it does not take into account the resistance. (not really a problem for me)
It’s almost silent, with NO rattling at all since every adjustable component fits into it’s holder very snug with the tightening nobs.
The saddle is a bit hard and does hurt after 20 mins or so, but buying a gel seat cover has helped 100% and solves this problem.
Overall 100% worth every penny, especially for the high quality and standard of this bike.

there are only 2 points of concern, the computer on the bike doesnt seem to keep track of the total mileage covered by the bike over its lifetime ( or i at least have not found the setting ) and the friction pad that touches wheel lifetime may be a concern, im really not sure how long they last.
i would say any bike in the JLL lineup is going to be a good investment i went with the 400 simply for the heavier wheel and i would recommend the heaviest you can afford for ladies and men.
This exercise bike is brilliant has it has a good tension control so that both my partner and I can use it, also the automatic stop in case of emergency. Great to use and keep fit.
Other than that, smooth and quiet with good resistance control. No problem with sturdiness. Pedals still fine. Seems to have been a good buy!
If you have a rock hard bottom maybe but even then you’ll need racing shorts with leather padding and your overdressed for living room pedalling to midsummer murders…
Is a racer seat is for aero dynamics and weight for actual racing perhaps……. this is a static bike
why not put a nice comfy gel seat or at least the option to switch it over to a nice gel seat when ordering , just a suggestion
Other wise many thanks for all the help with the delivery and order your fab
