The compactor was donated to our local senior center. It is sturdy and easy to compact thin film.

Was going to buy an electric compactor but this one works great and a lot less money
I really wanted a trash compacter, so I decided to give this manual compacter a try… It works okay, but not great, but the struggle is with putting in trashbags… I can get them in, but my husband has yet to put them in correctly. It’s a great idea, but it’s not quite there yet.

Best trash disposal I could ever have. I would order more if I stayed in a single family home.
The sturdiness is good .The crusher could be better . Its is plastic, but a thick plastic. Very easy to use. The value is good for the money.
Nice to have, sturdy, and put together pretty good.
Pros: handle pushes down trash pretty good.
Foot pedal for top door opens with ease. Comes with a odor packet, that lasts about a week. Stainless steel easy to clean.
Cons: they give you 3 bags that fit perfectly in the garbage can and can hold a lot of trash, especially after compacting it. After those 3 bags are gone, good luck finding replacement bags, and if you do find them they you will have to pay some bucks for them. I have to use hefty 13 gallon bags and those don’t hook easy over the compactor frame.
If you are like me and hate shoving your foot in the garage can to compact trash then this is for you.
I love this trashcan. I’m saving $40 a month by not needing the trashcan space. The bags can get heavy but I have a man to carry it out. That would be my only complaint, but this thing is so cool. I try not to talk about it too much.
Keeping the bag attached to the mechanism that you crush it with is difficult, keeps coming off. Over all I like it, did not give it a great number of stars, the price is high and the bag does not like to stay attached, but I do like it over all

I have a friend who has one of these this is the reason purchased it. I guess some work better than others. I am disappointed . It is pricey for what mine doesn’t do I so not recommend

Like many around the UK we are restricted to one 120l wheelie bin of general household waste emptied every two weeks. However careful we are to recycle everything there is always more rubbish than the 120l bin can hold. So a trip to the tip was needed every so often. The compactor bin arrived in super fast time and is very attractive. The fitting of the bags took a few attempts to master but now is no problem at all. I compact the waste as I go and although this new bin is the same size as my old swing bin I get three times the waste in the same space. I find I can easily fit 4 of the full, compacted, bags into my wheelie bin. Although I haven’t filled more than three as yet. Very pleased with this excellent product. A bit pricey but a high quality product and I am greatful for all the saved trips to the tip!
When I ordered this garbage can they also offered garbage bags so I bought some. They sent me 4 liter garbage bags. They are so small they don’t fit anyting. So beware when ordering. I took for granted that if they’re offering garbage bags at the same time they’re offering a garbage can that the garbage bags would fit the can. I was wrong. The garbage bags were a total waste of money
