TV
Great telly, good size for my lounge. Picture quality is great.
Great bargain.
Shopped around for a Smart TV after Xmas and chose this one because of the features, screen size but most of all, the price. We’ll below anything that matched. We’ll pleased.
impressive all round for the price
Its great to have android features built in , no need for boxes and disges etc . I will be able to cancel Sky now and save money as the free channels Amazon Prime and netflix youtbe are all here and theres more than enough entertainment for us without paying more .
Good tv at a great price.
Great tv, all the apps and goodies required, easy to use and no need for a Fire stick anymore as it has one built in, also Alexa so you can ask for programs like on Sky Q. Recommended.
Great tv excellent price at first but second was more
his Is second one I ordered ,and delighted with my TVs ,but very unsure why price went up by 110 on ordering second tv .now gone done again ,I had hope to receive both for same price as the first …
Great value
Bought as offer around time of being laid up in bed. Holed up in spare room. Helped pass the hours away with Netflix, Prime Video & other apps easy to set up. First Alexa enabled TV & it’s good.
Great picture, smart tv
Bought a separate wall bracket. Hung up tv easily.
Great picture and sound. Smart features grea
Fab TV
Fab TV easy to use. Lot easier to flip through apps. Yes would definitely recommend
Really happy with the tv
Great tv for the price. Looks good and the picture quality is good. It was very easy to set up. I would say it was money well spent.
Fantastic for the price
Really impressed with this tv I usually buy LG but it was just for my bedroom so thought I’d get a cheaper one WOW it’s great and it makes such a difference having amazon built in.
Amazing tv.
After reading the reviews I was worried about the sound and the tv being slow but everything is perfect picture is great I don’t think the sound is bad, I’ve not even touched the settings this video is how the tv comes set up with pic and sound. It was very easy to attach the stand. Absolute bargain.
TV fine but be aware hermes deliver (you guessed the rest)
Had a nightmare with this TV. Delivery driver (hermes) just about chucked it through the door at me, apart from a crumpled corner box looked fine though. unfortunately, once we unpacked it quickly realised the screen was totally shattered . Contacted amazon about returning, waited a few days and a driver came to pick it up, saw the size of the box and refused to take it! Contacted amazon again, who decided I needed a special heavy freight delivery service, which I had to organise (And pay for ) ! Sod that! It’ fitted into a delivery van coming, they could take the bloody thing back again! After arguing, amazon agreed to arrange a xl company to pick it up themselves (c’mon, its only a tv) and a week or so later I finally got a refund. Hotfooted it to curry’s where I bought the same TV in person (same price but without the shatter), i sat in my little 2 door Seat, while they loaded it into the back for me and an hour later was finally sat watching squid game.
So yes, the TV itself is great, delivery not so much x

Flawless smart TV
My first 32″ conventional flat screen HD TV cost me over a grand, and here we are years later with a 50″ 4K smart TV from an established manufacturer costing just over 300 – and what a difference.
This was something of an impulse buy, replacing a 10 year old Samsung to which I’d added a Fire Stick. I liked the built in Alexa interface, and was keen to see 4K on a big screen for the first time. Wowjust..wow! Even in standard HD, the picture is rich and detailed with even aspects in deep shadow showing every nuance. In 4K though? It’s like looking through a window at real life. Add to that a full spectrum audio with the option of adding surround in the future, and this bargain priced TV transforms the viewing experience – all backed up by good old Lexy.
Set up was only hampered by the TV downloading and installing various upgrades sequentially rather than in one hit (there were three packets that took about ten minutes to complete) but once done there was little to no requirement to tinker with sound and vision, and settings from my Fire Stick were largely transposed.
I think I may have been a tad tipsy when I made my order, as I was fine with 32″, might have benefitted from something in the 40″ range, but instead went for 50″ – it really is huge, but also very slim. Ultimately I’ll wall mount it as it does dominate the room slightly, but there’s no urgency.
To sum up, I really can’t fault it so far, and I’d have expected to pay at least double for such a fully featured and huge TV.
Reject package if opened & not sealed.
My brand new item came in a disgusting state tatty & opened, I should have refused delivery but took a punt on it being ok inside.
I complained about it to Amazon & worked out some financial compensation, well pleased!
Removed TV from box & looked for damage, lucky none!
Next job connect up other equipment & power/ setup using quick setup guide, went like a dream.
Important after setup power down & remove mains supply / plug from socket, then power up again, enjoy!

SMART TV JVC
Excellent picture, Excellent features, excellent value. JVC always have been a name for quality and this is the proof. Very happy with this purchase
Value for money
What an absolute bargain!!! Fantastic picture built in fire stick all the smart stuff you need very easy to set up very highly recommended + no remote control needed just ask Alexa Simples
Unbelievable TV for the price... Still blown away
If you look in the mirror and see a moron staring back at you, you will go waste a whole load of money on a TV that is not half as great as this.
Love i
See everything you can watch in one place with every app you have excelle
Smashin.
Excellent set. Only niggle is the feet being at opposite ends of the set. I was unable to put it on a bracket as our stud walls had no stud to attach it to. We had to buy 2 little tables to put tv on as standard tv cabinets and tables aren’t long enough to put tv on. Apart from that the tv is highly recommended. No firestick to plug in. All functions on the set work seamlessly. Kids had fun getting the Alexa to do fart noises all Xmas day lol.

Perfect Smart TV For Us!
When we decided to buy a larger TV we feel in love with this one as it can be linked to my Amazon account.
So easy to set up, prompts on the screen for the initial instructions and installation. Couldn’t of been easier.
Now we have a larger TV which makes it easier to see the words on the screen (eyes are struggling to see the more I age)
If you have an Amazon Prime account, this is the perfect TV for you.

I love everything about this TV
The picture quality is great and no sound delay. Alexa integration is really handy, it’s voice control to anyone that doesn’t know what Alexa is, and I really like this TV.
TV
For the price,a great tv. Has all the channels you need and very easy to set up
Great TV
Everything about this tv is easy to use. great picture easy controls cannot fault i
JVC Fire TV 55inch.
The Television does what it says on the box, very pleased with my purchase. One thing you can’t do is turn the TV off from the TV, you can only put it in standby. You can only fully turn off by unplugging the TV.
Fab TV!!
We bought this as our main tv for our first house and it’s fab. Great to have the smart tv function with the Netflix and prime buttons on the remote for easy access. Really happy with our purchase. Great tv for a great price, which I’m grateful for as never had to shop for TV’s before. Would definitely recommend.
This is a great buy.
We like this tv very much. It is our first smart tv and well worth the money and experience. It’s probably my eyesight but I can’t see any difference in quality between the ordinary and HD channels.
Really Great Picture
Extremely easy to set up, has loads of great features and gives a really good picture on HD and 4K. My only gripe so far is the picture on older films/shows can be a bit pixelated, especially the Blacks.
Perfect picture & speedy response to remote control
Again disappointment. As an Englishman not only do I have to complain it is expected of me. My tv arrived at the time stated and was brought to the doorstep. Everything was set up as per instructions and from opening the box to turning on the telly took no more than a quarter of a hour. Brilliant picture and very easy to use I am more than happy with my tv from heaven & should anyone decide to get it in the future I have 1 word for you. Congratulations!

Excellent TV! Extraordinary picture quality
For me, the remote control is small and fragile, but the tv is excelle
Simply fabulous
Does exactly what it says on the box. Easy to use and great picture quality
JVC Fire TV 43"
I bought this to make writing on the TV bigger as I can see it a lot better.
Great value
Great value for a UHD TV, and build-in Fire Stick Interface is very good.
My only complaint is that the internal memory is small which limits the number of Apps you could install. That being, there is enough memory to install all the Apps I wanted.
Flawed But Does The Job
Its been nearly 18 months since we bought the TV and I think now is a good time to review it.
Lets get the bad out of the way first, and the biggest issue is the lack of memory, the RAM is insufficient which makes the menus laggy and slow to respond until its been running for a little bit.
The HDR isn’t great, its very much HDRish and Dolby Vision is very hit and miss as to what content it works with, the Xbox Series X and it do not get on.
We have the 43″ version and for the 300ish we paid for it at the time, it made sense, as it had all the features we needed, could be delivered, cause the pandemic meant shortages, and ticked the boxes.
Had my main TV not died after 13 years, I would have saved a bit longer and spent a bit more, but it is what it is.
Now for the good stuff, the 4K isn’t that bad. helps that its a smaller screen I guess, the services available have really improved, it took over a year to get Apple TV+ but now apps that get a release for the stick, usually get a same day Fire TV edition, it integrates well with Alexa, but can be a bit buggy sometimes, and the remote, is super simple and easy for my mother in law to understand.
I think that if Amazon, want to be serious about their own TV range, then they need to stop cutting corners, more memory and a better implementation of HDR.
For the majority of people this will be fine, heck although I can point out the faults and I am a rather techy person, when, I want to kickback and enjoy some Forza Horizon or a 4k movie, its more than sufficient.
If you are on a budget, this might be the right choice, if not, look elsewhere, oh and if you do get this, budget in a soundbar, like most modern TVs, its speaker is pathetic, but I only mention that in passing simply because I have yet to come across a modern TV that doesn’t have terrible tinny speakers, even some 2k ones have worse sound than this!

DO NOT BUY A TV OFF AMAZON
After very careful set up (it was covered in a duvet while I attached the stand) plugged it in took off the screen cover.. .and a huge smash like a hammer put thru the screen on the left hand side, multi coloured lines dripping from the top and two horizontal lines across the screen.
Last time I ever buy anything expensive on line and Amazon won’t let me complain.
Do not buy expensive items off Amazon esp CURRYS .
Brilliant TV once we got it all setup and running. Full amazon prime video and netflix integration, with the voice control works like a dream.
The only exception we had was getting the TV to work in 4k HDR on our xbox series S. The TV set the resolution to 1080p on the xbox, and the xbox would not allow us to display 4k as it said the TV did not support 4k HDR, as advertised…
However, the fix to this is going into the picture settings (hold home button) and select advanced settings. At the bottom change the HDMI input mode to *Mode 2* from auto. This will now allow 4k HDR at 60hz. I have added a picture to show the setting.
Otherwise it’s a great TV, wanted to add this in case anybody else had the same problem for their console and could only play in standard HD rather than the 4k!

Very good produc
The tv is great not using all features yet just plugged into cable tv. The only problem I have is that the virgin remote I cannot get the volume control to work on new tv all other functions work on the virgin remote
Easy to set up
Arrived early was very easy to set up and am now watching it, all within less than 1/2 an hou
A great, surprisingly light tv
So far in the three weeks I have had the tv, I have found no faults. It is easy to connect to the WIFI and to set up first time. I have mounted it to the the wall and its light weight means I managed it with out assistance.
The picture and sound is great. I connected blue tooth head phones with ease.
No Alexa Home Theatre Suppo
I want to start by saying I like this TV and I probably don’t write enough good Amazon reviews as I’m rarely disappointed. But this TV has a flaw that I think buyers need to be aware of.
I’ll start by saying its a good budget TV. The colours are decent, and the Fire TV operating system is very good. It replaced a TV in my garage conversation that had an external chromecast dongle and having everything in the same place on one remote is much nicer.
The Alexa voice integration works well and being able to turn it on or off, adjust the volume and pick TV channels without the remote is great as I’m constantly mislaying remotes.
But I have a lot of Alexa speakers and the setup in my garage has two Echo’s in a stereo pair with a sub. They’re pretty good too (I should probably review them separately) and I was looking forward to being able to use them in a home theatre setup. I know speakers on TV’s aren’t great and usually prefer to add a soundbar, but I’d read all about the home theatre mode and couldn’t wait to try it out. I nearly got a fire stick but when looking at them I found the 43in version of the JVC Fire TV in the Black Friday sale and couldn’t resist.
So you can imagine my disappointment to find that when trying to setup the TV and speakers in a Home Theatre setup you’re met with an incompatible message. Call me a big kid but I was literally gutted and thought about returning the TV. But then I thought that perhaps it was coming in future so I called tech support. The first lady didn’t know what i was talking about and put me through to the “dedicated team” for this product but while I was on hold the call got disconnected. So I still don’t know if this is something Amazon will add in future with a firmware update. I hope so! if it’s added i’ll gladly update this review to five stars and I’d probably get a bigger one for the bedroom where I have an Echo Studio crying out to be linked to a TV. As it stands I can’t help but think this is an unfinished product with less features than the sticks they sell for a a fraction of the price and that’s disappointing.

Great picture!
Well packaged. Simple set up. Thoroughly enjoying our new tv.
it's a smart TV
I found out why it’s called a smart TV. One has to be smart to get it going, if not even a genius. Set up diagram shows two women getting it out of the box. No chance, I had to cut the box away to get the TV out. It was too tightly packed to simply remove.
Not a bad picture and the sound is pretty good. Really needs the Amazon Fire stick to work it. Thing to watch is you use the right screws for the stand. The diagram shows them as white, 4 are black and 4 are silver. Just look closely at diagram to see which are which.
Good 4k telly at a good price
Very happy with the tv, I am looking to ditch cable & use streaming services, this gives me all i need in one place. The 4k looks stunning through disney plus and amazon & i am tempted to upgrade netflix but i will wait.
I also use ps4 & xbox one. The ps4 upscale looks great but the xbox one cant upgrade as this tv is only 50fps. But I really notice the upscale on the PlayStation & games like the last of us 2 look fantastic.
Virgin cable worked through HDMI fine & even got a good picture using a old booster aerial.
The interface is ok a bit cluncky but for the price 369 for a 50″ 4k telly I can live with it.

So i got this for one of the spare bedrooms that my grand-kids and sometimes my wife uses, it has a PS4 in there and a Nintendo switch for the use off on an older LED TV.
I got this because of the price and nothing else, If you’ve ever wondered what might happen if someone combined an affordable TV with one of Amazon’s Fire TV streaming boxes, then this is it.
But as it stands i am quite surprised how actually good it is regardless of the price, your getting a 43” Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV for 300 quid, then add to the fact its got Fire TV built in with all its benefits including an Alexa voice remote.
All the apps work well on it, even the ones i have side loaded using “Dounloader” app, firstly i downloaded Aptoid app store to compliment Amazons app store, this gives you access to a lot more apps that you cannot get on play store and amazon store.
Another App i would get is one that closes apps running in the background, the TV is quite responsive but i noticed the slowdown with all the opened apps still open in the background (about 12 of them that i’d opened), after closing them all and its running great again.
I connected with the wifi then did a speed test,, 40 mbps on 2.4Ghz so switched over to 5Ghz and am getting 250mbps now so im quite happy the TV has both wifi bands.
Picture and sound quality is quite good considering this is a 300 quid telly, yes we could be critical and compare it to a 2k Samsung or LG but that would be stupid, fair enough to say this TV is well good enough for movies, sports and playing games of a console at a very decent quality.
So all in all even though i did not need the TV i’m very pleased i bought it, especially as i got a second one for my daughter’s birthday.
Remote is not that good mine wasn’t working trying to sort it out at moment so can’t give a positive review at this time
Lovely TV and easy to set ip
I recently helped a friend set up a new Smart TV and it took ages as was not at all straightforward. The installation of the JVC Fire however, was really intuative and pretty quick. Really pleased with it.
Takes time to turn o
It takes at least a minute to turn on and you have to press the home button to turn it on, which makes my Alexa skill useless.
Other than that it’s a great TV
Great product for a very good price
Need an upgrade for my tv – this is was a great price and the tv itself is vey good.
Great picture but rather poor sound quality
Had a problem with the wifi, it needed to be connected to the router by wire then it was fine.
Good picture quality, football on BT Sport looks great and it’s handy to have Amazon Fire built into the TV.
There only 3.9 Gbs. of memory for the apps. but you can add to it via the USB.
The remote is too small, tiny buttons.
There is no record function, but that is a minor drawback.
All in all I am very pleased with it.
Just what I wanted
The complete package is more than expected. Well worth waiting fo
Exactly what I wanted
I bought this and was not sure I would like it or be able to use it as I’m not very tech savvy but is so easy to work i
Best option if you are looking to enjoy movies and TV shows
This is a Very nice and special Smart TV. I got it for my last birthday. It provides a very good quality of images and video, and easy to use as well: you just have to connect the WIFI internet to it, and that’s it…..all the rest is very simple; to be honest i did not ever use the Instruction Manual more that once. Im not very smart with technology so this TV was simply the best thing that i could buy! – Highly Recommend it !
Over the moon with this purchase.
I bought this TV as it was within my budget but more importantly it had sooooooo many features! It has built in Alexa, Amazon, all the smart apps you’d expect from much higher brand TV’s. The TV is light but very stable on it’s base. It can also be mounted on a wall bracket (which I purchased separately). It is super slim and has amazing picture quality and sound. It’s features respond really quickly. The remote has speech recognition and so no more scrolling through apps and different pages looking for what you’re after; you simply speak to the remote and your results are their within 2/5 seconds. I used to sell top end TV’s and am blown away by this JVC model. You will not be disappointed in the least, quite the opposite, you will (like me), be thrilled.
Good but not the bes
I love the smart features .. you can control you’re TV and other smart devices around the home by talking through the remote control
However, I have had a cheaper make 4K television with a much clearer picture, this is a little disappointing.

Were looking for a budget priced
TV with Smart function.
Had this up and running within 15 minutes and linked to Netflix and Prime, also able to screen from phone.
Very good picture and sound.
Exceeded expectations and was excellent value for money.
Best TV i have had.
The one from Amazon did not work I got the same TV from Curry’s the same day. Hermes picked up the return the day after & the money was put back in my account. I have 5 TVs in the house this is the best.
Excellent TV
Jolly good television….very good sound particularly for speech ( when films have those awful muffled voices ) good picture. Generally, a good all rounder.
Fantastic all round Smart TV for a very low price
Bought at a time when a promotion was available so cost price to us was just 409.00 and very well spent at that. Good picture quality, smart services and access to applications all direct via the TV with no need for other connections such as Fire Sticks. For a couple with not much technical knowledge it was easy to set up and we seemed to be up and running in no time.
I expect some may not be as keen as we are and it does seem you can pay several thousand pounds for something similar but for us it is perfect!

Great value and great picture
We have received this 43″ TV a few weeks ago and we love it. I had a fire TV stick before so I was used to navigate the Amazon environment. The TV is incredibly light considering the size. Once the Wi-Fi is set up and you have entered your Amazon Prime account, there will be a few software updates and reboots. Amazon prime has some movies in 4K, so we have enjoyed watching those even we had already watched some of those movies before. The picture quality is really great. We are very satisfied considering the cost.
A great looking and functioning TV worth the price.
When I saw the price of this TV I had to double take as it was well worth it. The sound quality and picture quality are very good. Sharp 4k and HD picture and clear sound. You also have inbuilt Fire TV so you don’t need the Fire stick dongle.
At 50 inches the size is optimal. I would definitely recommend this TV.
