The slicing and grating discs are reversible
After my wifes Robo-Chef died a death we were looking for a new food processor. She also needed a blender as her previous unit had a cracked plastic jug. This unit covered both requirements. Glass Blender Jug and Glass Herb/Spice Mill and a food processor with reversable discs giving a variety of cutting and shredding sizes. She initially found the force needed to lock the processor bowl into position high, but once it was proved that the force was needed and was not going to break anything happily went to work to make some excellent Pate. All in all an excellent buy.

First I got other more expensive brand,broken on second use. Exchanged for kenwood. There’s a reason my mother and grandmother had a kenwood. They’ve been making them for years. Glass jug for smoothies too,and 40 cheaper . Sent back other and got new kenwood within 3 days. Great product.

All machines have a motor. It is all the other parts that count the most. 3 grinding and chopping plates, Knife, kneading knife, Blender, tool for Orange juice should have a special recommandation. No more throwing oranges away. Making juice out of them instead. This machine is in constant use every single day. strong motor 800 Watt.
Carrot raw food salad with every meal. A glass of orange juice for mom and dad. Weighing flour with the build in weight is so easy. You place a bowl on the device and you turn on the machine. It will show “0” every time you turn it off and on. No matter which bowl is upon it. So the ingredients are easily weighed in. The glass blender easily chops ice for smoothies. I have not reviewed all, because I can’t! But this should be enough for you to choose.

The machine is well built and powerful but compact for easy storage. i particularly liked the glass blender which can take hot liquids without cracking. Also, the bases unscrew making it easy to clean them properly.

Worth Every Penny
It was slightly different to assemble in the beginning to most other processors, but once learnt how to assemble and use. The performance was excellent.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do with ease
Firstly I have just used this for general day to day cookery, so not used every aspect of this food processor.
So basically it chops to a decent fineness, slices nicely without much waste and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I do batch cook, so to chop 6 onions took all of 20 seconds, it tool longer to assemble the processor!
So it is big enough for a family of 4.
So would I recommend it, definitely.

Good overall ..but when grating things like carrots there is a gap underneath the grater and at the sides and large pieces get stuck there.
Give the lid a hard click when using first time!
A great little helper in the kitchen. A great size machine for families. It is easy to use, but would point out that the first time you use it make sure when the put the top on click it to the left with a good tug. It will be easy from then onwards. Great at pastry! Havent had it long enough to trial it yet. But very pleased with this model.
A great time save
Initially it didn’t appear to work despite all my efforts. My son used more brute strength to lock the bowl in place and all was fine. It was quite stiff to get that final locking in of bowl but has become easier with use. It’s a great piece of kit especially for a busy household and a great time saver. Wish I had bought it earlier.
Sturdy reliable and good brand
Wanted to replace my earlier model as my daughter borrowed my old one so I told her to keep it. The make speaks for itself and I had no trouble with my old one.

Great compact food processor. Never had one before but this is great. I’ve used for chopping and slicing vegetables as much quicker and thinner than a knife and also mincing ingredients. Easy to clean and straightforward to use. Doesn’t take up too much space but you do need a shelf for all the extra blades etc.

Excellent value for money. it does exactly what it should and has a very accessible price compared to latest models. Would definitely recommend for the average cook who needs to chop, great, slice and grind. Not terrible noisy when in use executes tasks quickly and instructions are easy to follow to understand which piece to use in every circumstances.

Great machine, slight issue with blender part.
Love this food processor. Made amazing pesto with the processor, milkshakes with the blender and perfect macaroons with the whisking function. Easy to clean and assemble. My only issue is the blender can be quite hard to get off the machine and sometime you accidentally remove the glass jug part from the bottom so the liquid goes absolutely everywhere and you can’t get the bottom off the machine. But we’ll worth the money.

Kenwood Food processo
I have regularly used a Kenwood Chef since 1966. It has, sadly worn out I am a pensioner and felt another Chef would not be practical for me so I bought the food processor. At first, I made a hash of things but once I came to terms with it I am very happy that I made the purchase.

Great food processor with a few different options. The spatula I was finding really helpful but now it’s missing a big chip out of it so a bit nervous to use it again. Poor quality spatula but apart from that, everything else seems to be good quality.

mixing it up
Ive had the processor for a month now and its tackled most things well. I would have liked the spice jar to be bigger and the beaters a little more sturdy, but these are minor points for a great bit of kit, for which replacement parts are available, unlike my last processor which I’ve had bin after part of the lid broke and the manufacturers could not offer a replacement.

I bought this for fracture of the current price on Amazon Prime day back in summer. I like that the foor processor is both compact and powerful. I mostly use the same functions for chopping and grating, less often the shaker and haven’t tried the dough mixer or whipper as I don’t like to bake.

Only used the Processor so far, which was simple enough & did the job, except for the 2 large slivers of carrot, which got ‘trapped’ between the top side of the grating disk and the underside of processor lid. Not a big problem – just had to eat those ! I like the glass jug for liquidiser part and the fact that all parts use the same motor (and connection to it).
The attachment with beaters looks very puny, I would not like to rely on that for any big whisking job – but I have a very robust stand mixer (Kenwood) and a small hand mixer (Kenwood) which is over 30 years old and still going strong.

Love this, had the smaller version for years and decided to treat myself to an upgrade, only point to raise is my cheaper, smaller one had an attachment for juicing oranges and this one doesn’t or at least doesn’t come with one
A few months in this is still working great. Slightly small for some things (bread dough etc) but great for speedy grating and blending or whisking. The jug blender attachment is great for soups and smoothies.

It is a good quality product with a good variety of attachments. It is compact and takes minimum space. We use it mostly for indian cooking.
The mini mill is used mostly for spices and chutneys and is made of sturdy glass.
The largest container is used for kneading chapatti dough. It is made of plastic.
The chopping blades can be used to cut vegetables but we dont use it.
Is perfect for medium to light cooking for a small family.
There are 2 speed modes. One thing i would have liked is to have a 3rd speed mode and overall low noise but that is me just picking at straws.

Well having purchased a new kitchen I thought I would treat myself to something to speed up my preparation of meals. I still have not used all the attachments but so far the ones I have used have not let me down.
I would recommend the item as it speeds up the cutting up of veg ready for soups, and other meals.

It does leave a small amount of carrots and cheese on top of the grating/slicing blades but not an issue if you stop the machine & clear before feeding more carrots in. Also used for chopping kidney beans & mixing ingredients for veggie burgers. I have also made date & almond truffles, easily. The glass blender although I found it stiff to dismantle the blades from the jug, it cleans easily when I have made green smoothies, with spinach and kale. It is worth noting that the jug is a 5 cup jug, however sufficient for my needs. The switch has no grip if hands are wet but once dry is fine to turn. The feet suckers add some grip but the processor does slide back/forward on the work top, when pushed. However does not move on its own, when in use. Overall I am pleased with this processor, with stainless steel and black appearance & for its price/performance.

Good solid machine
I like this machine very much. My only criticism is that clicking it into lock position is quite hard. At first I thought the motor was faulty, but got it going eventually. Would not recommend for elderly people with weak hands.

The only downside is the fact that the grating discs are ~10 mm away from the ceiling (for lack of a better word). Once your carrot or whatever else you’re grating or slicing is sliced down to that level, it slides into that gap and clogs up the process, or it is squeezed into the main container and combined with the grated carrot.

Generally pleased with this item. The only reason I gave 4* was because the cleaning instructions for the blender jug were not helpful. I just couldn’t remove the seal and there was so much contradictory advice online. In the end, after a few uses, it dropped out in the wash anyway. I don’t think washing would be thorough enough if the seal had remained permanently in situ.

I got this item from Amazon with 3 year guarantee on any repairs and accidental damage. It is sleek and compact, sharp blades and well designed.
The kenwood processor is good for a family if 4 and it does an awful lot and more. I can make milkshakes, blend tomaotes for lasagna but it doesn’t blend them very very finely. I like it that way because you can feel the texture in the mouth rather than just a smooth paste.
The small jar I have used for grinding Indian spices, grinding ginger and garlic and make chutneys and its awesome. I do hot and cold but its best to let the food cool down if its too hot. Again, if the texture is not fine I just add a little glug of water.
I also made a dough for banana bread and normal bread no problems. It does nice whipping of cream and choclate brownie. It’s not the best but its okay for what I need. If you need it for whipping and making dough everyday than I’m afraid this may not be very useful for you.

This is my second Kenwood product, I had the FPP 255 model which I have away and u upgraded to this model. This has a nice study glass bender with other attachment that where not on my previous version.
So far my wife is ok with it, as long as it does the job and has a glass blender,.
