Just a brilliant storage box.
Absolutely huge amount of storage space available. Two long bench cushions. Two large recliner cushions. Three chair cushions. Numerous large scatter cushions, rugs etc. A brilliant and useful edition to my garden.
I have 7 rabbits so needed somewhere to store their food and bales of hay. Perfect for what I needed it for, got it for a great price and was very easy to put togethe

Solid construction but would suggest a second pair of hands when fitting the top. Able to report that the box coped with a major deluge the day after putting a Liner and cushions inside… 16 cushions to be precise… Excellent…
Very robust storage box
As storage boxes go, this one does not look out of place in the garden. It’s very well designed and sturdy. The assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The box itself takes a decent sized hover mower and numerous garden tools.
Large capacity, looks the part, easy to put together.
This chest style storage is bigger than I thought. It fits all my garden tools, shovels, rakes etc. Paint pots. Toys. Plant Pots. Jet Wash etc etc
It is also extremely easy to put together. I wouldn’t say it’s ‘secure’ fully, if somebody wanted to get in it they would, but even so it can be fitted with a padlock. It also looks nice and can be sat on bench style if you run out of seats.
A Bit plasticky and flexible when lifting to put in place.
Erecting was a bit of a problem as instructions were not as clear as they should have been. In my opinion and my opinion only, I believe the item is a bit pricy for what you get. The Items lack more stability.
Good produc
This is the third Keter storage box which I have bought and I have found them to be invaluable for storing e.g. gardening equipment. They can withstand extreme weather and have large storage capacity. The last one which I bought has seen some improvements on the other two which I bought earlier. Easy to assemble – it took me about an hour all told. Instructions are precise with good diagrams and if they are followed closely, make the task a lot easier.

Absolutely love it. Instead of using it outdoors. I needed storage indoors to store all my tools. And this did the job perfect. Really huge. Plenty room left over for more tools
Check the dimensions before you purchase as this takes up a lot of space but of course holds an equally large amount.
I bought it to keep a supply of firewood near the back door rather than seating cushions – it holds more than I expected.
Assembly was so easy. Completed in 20 minutes by one person. Read the instructions and identify all the pieces beforehand and it’s an absolute breeze. Getting a screwdriver to one of the hinge screws wasn’t as easy as it could be but not a showstopper.
I’m very impressed by the quality. Advertised as being able to seat two adults if you also want it as a garden seat and I am not in any doubt that it could, without concern.
This is the fist Keter product I’ve bought and the quality and ease of construction means I’ll favour the brand for any subsequent purchases of garden furniture.
Very well designed. One panel was incorrectly listed, or incorrectly marked, but it was easy enough to work out what I had to do. Really well made. It will outlast me, mind you I am 76 years old.
I assembled the storage box only to find that the last piece which was the central hinge was broken. Amazon sorted it out promptly and very pleased with the replacement. Suggest that anyone buying this check that all the parts are in good order before putting it together. Assembly a wee bit tricky for one person but I eventually managed it and so far all good. No water ingress despite periods of heavy snow and rain and the box matches very well with our decking. Lots of storage capacity.
Beware of the screws
Seems to be well-designed except for the screws which are stripped even when using a manual screwdriver. None of my screw bits seemed to fit well. The instructions recommend the use of an electric screwdriver – the screws will be stripped. Otherwise seems to be well-designed and easy to assemble.
My shed is just full of junk at the min so I wanted somewhere to keep my tools that I frequently use. I decided to go for this storage box even though it was more expensive than most I wanted the quality. I put this together in about 20 min. I even took my time as I didn’t want to mess anything up.
I have had it up for a few days and to test the water tightness I have left some papers inside. It has been raining and very windy but the contents remain bone dry.
Very happy with this storage box. I have also added a pad lock for security however the clasp it goes onto doesn’t seem to sturdy. I am not to worried about this though as my garden is sealed off.
I now have three of these. The first two were fantastic; very sturdy, once the metal bolsterers are inserted into the groove, and as others have noted, wiggle these in with care as they have to be persuaded – and also ensure you do this BEFORE adding the end-pieces, or you will not be able to insert them. I used these for about six months over the summer with no issue and was very pleased with them. So I decided I needed another one, ordered it, but didn’t get a chance to make it. So it sat for 3 months, and when I finally had the time to make it, when I opened it, the plastic hinge to support the middle of the lid (integral to its use) had both side pivots snapped off, rendering it useless. I think I can still use the box, but wonder about longevity without the support. Time will tell, but my advice is to open the box when it arrives and check the pieces carefully – even if you don’t make it immediately!
Sturdy, weatherproof and easy to assemble.
The 3rd of these Keter boxes of various sizes I’ve bought. All have been exactly what was needed. Always found instructions easy to follow. External finish good and once assembled sturdy and weatherproof. Only reason not top marks due to some damage to interior of lid. This did not cause any detrimental issues or affect the end result.
Tip: If in an exposed position always keep locked closed. Had one (not this size) on a boat mooring unlocked and VERY high wind blew lid off its hinges.
I now have 3 of these storage boxes from Keter, all bought from Amazon, with the same experience each time.
My house doesn’t have a lot of storage so for indoor and outdoor storage, these are fantastic options
No storage box looks fantastic but this particular box looks as easy on the eye than most.
Easy to secure too, with either a closed or normal shackle type padlock on the front can be used.
Great size and surprising how much you can fit in when storing efficiently, also very solid once put together and can be used as a seat for a couple of adults if required.
I have 2 of these outside and have been through a couple of winters in the open, dealing with a lot of wind and rain. No leaks at all and very waterproof.
Instructions to put together are very easy to follow, with about 4 pages and about 10 steps with good illustrations to follow.
Delivery from Amazon was also spot on, no damage and delivered on time.
The last keter store I bought to keep my recycling boxes in was very flimsy – lid snapped off in first high wind, it ended up with the doors hanging off and I couldn’t get them back on, and eventually fell to bits. I chose this box to replace it as it is smaller so less likely to be lifted across the road by the wind. I’ve weighted it down inside with some heavy stones. I can’t say it’s easy to assemble because I had an experienced tradesman do it for me, if I had to do it myself I would have struggled. It’s survived some heavy rain but it’s currently summer so it’s not yet been tested by winter storms. If you needed to lock this box you’d have to buy a separate padlock.
I bought this after extensive research into this type of product. I have previously owned a smaller Keter storage unit which did the job for me. This box is much more substantial, feels very solid and is a dark brown colour which fades into the background on my patio, and which matches my brown/black garden furniture.
The box was delivered in a large flat-pack, and I found it easy enough to assemble – all parts fitted together well and the screws provided tied everything together. It took about an hour to unpack, check the instructions and assemble, which was fine – better to take care and get it right. I had no problem fitting the closing arms (others have reported this), and they work well. They hold the top up fine when open.
In use, the box is rigid and solid, although light enough for 2 people to move easily (when empty!). There are inset lifting handles at each end for this. There’s loads of room inside. The top is strong enough (and big enough) to be used as a seat for a couple of normal weight adults. There is a simple side-by-side metal latch which takes a padlock (bought separately) for security.
The top sits directly (flat) on the sides, with no lip or seal to drain water away, so it is not completely waterproof, although I have had no trouble so far with rain getting to the inside. If that becomes a problem in the future, I may add a thin foam sealing tape (draught excluder type) around the top of the main box.
All in all, a very good product, and as I got it at a discounted price of less then 110, definitely worth the money.
Had a look at various garden storage chests and glad I went for this one. Assembly was easy with one person – but it is quite a heavy box – so you might need 2 people to assemble depending on your size. All the parts fitted well together and the instructions were clear. I can sit on it comfortably and weigh 100kg. Loads of storage inside and it looks like it would withstand the elements well. Has transformed my garden space and great to be able to store things like my hammock, parasol and bird food outside rather than having to open the shed each time. Would buy again – but I think this one will last for a long time. It was about a third more expensive than some of the others I was looking at, but I think it is worth it.

Although the headline is not the best this is a fairly strong box and looks good . And storage is Great. The photo is only slightly different because I’ve covered it with fake grass for the cat’s.

The storage box was really easy to assemble, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. However for one part you will need a second person, which is mentioned in the instructions, but not in product details here. After assembling there are alot of holes in the bottom of the unit. Thus I would not recommend putting this unit under direct rain. I have a roof, so for me it is fine.
Good for storage ,very big.
After a rainy night the box is waterproof. Fairly easy to assemble no parts missing although two people are required as it’s not easy just with one person. Seems fairly sturdy and a lot bigger than we thought it would be which is a bonus. Bought for 106 and easy payments, I see now the price has gone up a fair bit. Just to mention one of the metal bars was slightly warped but it hasn’t effected the opening and closing of the lid. Nice easy opening lid as well. Time will tell how well it lasts.

Fit for purpose
Fairly easy to put together although the instructions were not quite accurate but we managed as experienced DIYers. We’ve only had it a short while so time will tell how waterproof it is. actually bought two as one not big enough for 9plus seater cushion storage. Good quality material and seems very sturdy

This is great for keeping the cushions for my 7 seater outdoor sofa. Don’t know if it is rain proof yet, but I plan to put a cover on it in winter anyway.

Initial package arrived unsealed and top panel scratched. Promptly returned/replaced and duly assembled. 103 decent price and went together pretty well. Opens nicely and feels sturdy. Will update if any issues upon using.

I found them very easy to assemble in under 10 minutes. They’re sturdy enough for 2 heavy adults to sit on if you wish to use them for that. Storage volume is as says, so they can get a lot of stuff in them. They look better in real life than in the images. The hydraulic hinges look pretty substantial and the whole unit feels like it will last a good few years. These boxes are waterproof and will keep items dry BUT if you open them when the lid has surface water on it can run down the back into the unit, easily overcome by partially opening the lid to let the water run off first. I like them so much I now have 3 and will probably buy at least one more. Worth keeping an eye on the price because they can vary by as much as 50.

Easy to put together, even without help. No missing parts and the instructions were simplicity itself. 14 screws, three hinges, two bits for the padlock (not supplied) and two metal rods and you’re done. All you need is a posi screwdriver.
I can’t comment on how weatherproof it is until we’ve had a few winters, but it looks as though it will do the job.

Perfect size for my needs sturdy and easy to put together used as a safe storage place for deliveries and recycle bags keeping them all dry I can confirm it does keep dry internally during downpours I use 1 for recycle bag storage and the other for outdoor seating storage of cushions etc Perfect!
Brilliant box!
This is a fantastic storage box, perfect size for storing cushions, toys, tools or whatever you like and trusting they will be kept safe and dry all year round. You are able to add a padlock to the front as well, should you need to keep the contents safe, which is a handy feature. Very impressed with the quality but I expected nothing less as I’d already had one of the large upright Keter store it out boxes for a few years and was very impressed!
Price far cheaper than the grey one
Unbelievable for the same storage box between the brown and grey, the grey one cost more than double the price.
So please with my storage box and done myself setting up within 20 minutes, very straight forward setup without hassle and definitely thinking of buying another one soo
Ideal for cushion store
Good sturdy product and easy to assemble when I found a You Tube video. Like many people have found, it came flat packed with no assembly instructions. Could just provide a link to a YouTube video, that would make things much easier. Don’t know if it is waterproof yet – it’s not rained since I assembled it.

After heavy rain it does seem to be pretty watertight. Only a couple of drops inside that probably came off the lid when I opened it.

This is a great storage unit. lots of space.
The instructions are absolutely awful. There are two silver support bars that do not appear in the item list, nor any instruction as to where they should go. To be honest, they should have been shipped inside the lid where they belong. There is no reason for the consumer to have to insert them into the lid. I also tried the online instructions and they too were lacking.
With a bit of patience, you will get to assembled.
Huge size, easy to put up.
The storage box was easy to put together, 570l didn’t mean anything to me in size and it is so big I had to turn it on its side to get it through my back door into the garden. I can’t comment on whether it is waterproof yet as it only arrived today but purchased it on the feedback of others who said it was waterproof. It was purchased to keep my garden furniture cushions etc and it will definitely take all my cushions and backs to my 8 garden chairs and a lot more too. Unfortunately I ordered it yesterday it arrived today and over night it dropped in price to 89.99. So if you are looking for a large storage box I’d recommend you grab yourself a bargain.
Easy to assemble and quite sturdy
Have rated 5 for weatherproof but as I have this in the conservatory then it is difficult to mark this. Easy to assemble and we use it to store all the seat cushions for our table and chairs and swing. We also use it as a bench for sitting on when we need extra seating in the conservatory.
Holds seat and back cushions for 10 chairs quite easily plus a few other cushions.

Damaged part when delivered
One of the hydraulic hinges was badly bent on delivery. Manage to straighten it sufficiently in vice to make it usable. Would have preferred to contact seller directly but could not find away of doing that.

Fantastic, stylish storage box.
Very easy to assemble and sturdy and provides good storage capacity for its size. The rustic brown goes perfectly with our brown anodized greenhouse. It is fully waterproof but after heavy rain, make sure you open the lid slowly to prevent the water dripping back inside. We are very happy with this product.

I was not sure if it would be worth paying more for this versus other models but I am delighted with the quality difference. It looks like real wood, is very sturdy and relatively easy to put together = just need to read the instructions carefully and make sure panels are all in the right place. Hasn’t rained yet so not sure but looks to be fairly water tigh

Sturdy storage unit.
Bought this for storing our garden cushions so I wanted it to be big, sturdy and waterproof. It has checked all the boxes.
I read reviews before I bought it which said the box was damaged on delivery. Thankfully I had no issues and it arrived in perfect condition with all the bits and pieces.
It took me and my husband about 40 minutes to assemble through clicking the panels together, putting a few screws in and inserting the two strengthening bars. It was very easy and straightforward.
The two brackets at the back of the lid are great. It makes opening and closing really easy, securing the lid in place when it’s open and your putting things away.
I have managed to store all of the cushions from a seven seater corner set, six chair and two throw cushions inside.
Is been 100% waterproof so far, even through some torrential downpours.
It’s more expensive than some others you can get, but I think its worth the extra money for the capacity, quality and keeping everything dry. Well worth the money!

Good Garden Storage Box
Very sturdy box. Assembles well if instructions followed. Appearance very smart. Only minor criticism is that the locking fittings are rather weak and could be easily forced. Not keeping anything of great value in the box so not a major problem. Overall would recommend.

Great storage box
I would highly recommend this product. We use it to store our garden cushions in. They consist of 7 seat, 7 back and 6 decorative cushions (see picture). The storage box is well made and sturdy. It would easily accommodate 2 adults seated on it. It was assembled by my 16 year old son with no help from me. This in itself was an achievement as he actually came away from the Xbox to do this!! Maybe he needed the experience for a hoist or something .
The box is large. Our dog is medium sized (small lab). All in all a great purchase.

excellent quality, weather proof, roomy, sturdy
Love this product, lid has excellent hinge so that it can easily be lifted but also stays up when you want it to – very safe. Very large and sturdy, my teenagers like to lounge on it, and it’s solid. Very roomy inside, fits all our garden soft furnishings, plus large clothes hanger, bike helmets, folding chairs, 2 178 litres pet bedding packs, with room for more. Weathertight- we’ve had pouring rain and howling winds, not a drop got in. very happy!
Cavernous interior.
Took me about 1 hour to assemble by myself ,picture only instructions can take some getting used to. Like the steel reinforcement bars they really make a difference to stability. very roomy inside even got a small step ladder in as well as usual patio clutter. Bit of a tip when finished do not push hard up against a wall as i did , as it scuffs the lid edge when opening.

Very easy and quick to build. We got ours to store cushions for our garden furniture. I think this box is fine for that purpose but in terms of sturdiness, I wouldn’t put anything valuable in it. I don’t think it would stand up to much of an attack before it gives up the goodies.

Good value for money 💰
Very nice and big, looks well made and expensive. Would of expected to pay about 200 for this. Paid 130 so a good price I think, diffenty worth double then the cheaper ones. Was easy to erect with good instructions. Thinking about replacing one of my cheaper ones with another one of these.
Not quite what I was expecting but up to the job
The finish is hit and miss but the box is the size I was expecting and water does not go in when it rains.
The sides are less sturdy than I was expecting but they are more than adequate for what I want
A lot more simple to assemble than I expected – I was able to do it on my own but the instructions indicate some steps will need two people.
You can sit on it but when warm the lid seems to sag – in normal weather it does not.

Sturdy and Waterproof
The storage box was easy to put together and everything aligned well, although inevitably the press fit joins are not completely flush. The hinges are robust enough but the locking plate is pretty pointless given it is screwed into plastic. The box has kept our cushion covers dry during the heavy rains of May, so job done. It actually looks quite nice, almost wood like from a distance.
All good now
Issue with first product with no instruction so put together to a point I could not reverse my actions. Amazon replaced very quickly and the issue item was picked up. Well done Amazon.

Unfortunately, after the box had been assembled and all of the packaging destroyed we noticed a hole near the fastening. This is the second box we’ve ordered and assembled so hugely disappointing. Could there have been an issue with the delivery? Our concern is that this will affect the quality of the weatherproofing Please advise, thanks

Great garden storage bench
Exactly as described and it’s huge! Plenty of room to store cushions and covers etc. Looks good too.
