This arrived early and packed well. The cards, as some reviews have pointed out, have some American pop culture references which were lost on the teens playing the game. That being said, they had great fun playing the game and there are loads of cards in it without having to get expansion packs. The game is easy to play and was picked up quickly, the cards are clear and of good quality so will last well and they are the standard size of cards for this style of game so the players found them easy to use. The box came with a large fridge magnet and a sticker which, although blatant advertising, was a nice touch.
We had a lot of fun playing this, some of it is a little risqu in my eyes but that means cheeky kids like it more! (I distinctly remember one card mentioning a starfish named pucker) wth. Easy to play and enjoy, some of it is very American also, some terms and references we didn’t quite get!
Over all though it was a good game and funny.
There isn’t really a specified age on this but I don’t think it’s really playable for younger kids. Firstly, it’s American so some of the cards aren’t relevant and secondly It’s a bit difficult to make up something funny with a lot of the cards. I love Cards against Humanity which is why I bought it for a nine year old but having proof read first there’s no way she would find it enjoyable. I’ll re-check the cards though, remove the American ones and try and select some appropriate ones and have another go
This is a great family game that is easy to play and guaranteed to make you laugh. I would recommend for your next purchase. The box is suitable to take away with you.
We got it for Christmas and once the kids had got over their need to be the centre of attention the game was great fun to play. Has the potential to be a bit rude so bare that in mind if you or your kids are of a sensitive disposition! Ours loved it!
Bought as a family friendly to cards against humanity to play over Christmas. Great fun and everyone from a 5 year old to a 72 year old enjoyed it! Not all the cards are hilarious but a lot of laughter and fun still
We bought this over a year ago as ‘during the day’ kid friendly game for extended family gatherings. We all love a game of Cards Against Humanity but quickly found that playing this with the kids was actually just as much fun, if not a little bit more when you add the innuendos that were going over their heads. Highly recommend it, it’s now the most requested game over all the electronics and games we have….. a year later!
Still has adult themes in it, but great for kids between 10-60yo
Shows my age when the kids are laughing but I have no idea what any of these meanings mea
We bought this as we’d played cards against humanity before and wanted the children to get a taste of the madness. Took it to many houses over christmas whilst visiting family and we were all left in stitches. If you have children get this and really get to know their humour.
The game looks fine for a present for my grandchild. What I didn’t like & hope Amazon don’t do it again to anyone else, is sticking delivery instructions directly on the packageing. DON’T DO IT AGAIN!
This a good laugh for family gatherings
My son loves this game
Fast delivery
Bought for my 9 year old granddaughter to take on holidays.
Good, clean fun, if a bit sillygreat for young ones, not for teens.
We’d great fun playing it with he
I bought this for my 13 year old granddaughter who throughly enjoyed the game, it was fun thankyou
Loved it and the kids were laughing the whole time great game to play rude on places but if you want something different buy this you will love i
brilliant game! more for teenagers i would say thank kids 🙂
We played this with 5 people andeven though it was good fun I think this game is made for even more people to play to make it bette
We have had cards against humanity for some time.
This is a great alternative for kids. Plays exactly the same, but with the bonus of being kid friendly. Lots of fun.
This game is very funny but alot of the answers are American so they don’t make a lot of sense but if you don’t mind not knowing what the cards mean then this is a great game for all the family
I bought it as a present for my grandson but he wasn’t very impressed.
Bought this for my niece and two nephews and we really did have fun playing it. However lots of the cards only really make sense to Americans… There are some unfortunate cards that don’t translate well for UK players like “my big fat fanny” which my nephew decided to play to complete “the WiFi went down so I stayed in all day and played with my…”. Needless to say I was creasing with laughter as were the kids. I know there are US and UK versions of Cards Against Humanity but not sure about the kids game. Lovely sturdy box and tonnes of cards. Might be a bit too heavy to haul about when travelling but easy to play.
We absolutely love this game. I bought it for a game to play over Christmas, we played on Christmas Eve well into the early hours of the morning and didn’t want to stop! Christmas Day was spent with the whole family on the floor playing for hours! My mum & dad are in their 60s and I’ve not seen them laugh so hard in a long time!!
It is absolutely hilarious!
My ‘kids’ are 16 and 18 and so understood more of the card than I did!
I would highly recommend this game for more grown up kids, it’s not really suitable for younger kids
Ultimately, you know your child / children better than anyone else. This is essentially Cards Against Humanity in kid form. Some cards definitely feel tailored towards teenagers and I can see some parents taking umbrage with that. Vet what you need to based on how your child is / what they know and you’ll likely have a good time.
It’s also Americanised, some things translate worse over here, as an example, one white card says “My big fat fanny” which is obviously a nod to a ladies’ frontal nether region in the UK, whereas in the USA, I think it means backside / buttocks. Tamer in one region, worse in another. Still has the capacity to be hilarious but going by UK definition, I’d consider that a CoH card in all honesty.
Bought this for my seven-year-old as I thought the humour would be right up his alley (and it is) and originally went off the age rating on another site, which listed 8+ (I thought due to reading capability). Bought here because that site bungled my order prior to Christmas.
If you’re going to get it, take some time to sit down and vet the cards prior to playing or be ready to explain post-potential-laughing-fit as to why your kid(s) shouldn’t be certain terms, language etc in public settings like school, friends parties etc.
Bought for Christmas for my 11 year old son. Everyone round the table on Christmas day enjoyed playing it. Easy to play. Would recommend
We bought this for our kids for Christmas and played with grandparents twice in 2 days as we had such a giggle playing.
There’s enough cards with double entendre to keep adults amused on another level which also adds to the fun of it.
We removed a couple of cards as they don’t translate well from American to English (think of the word Americams use for bum bags…f packs).
This is definitely a game to play for any family not worried about toilet and silly humour!
Superb family game has us all in stitches! There were 1 or 2 rude cards we removed but the rest were just silly and funny. Boys will especially enjoy the constant reference to the humorous ways to describe our bodily functions of farts and poos!
The game arrived damaged with a knife mark accross the middle of the lid from where it had been unpacked, it is intended as a gift so not ideal.
I bought this so that we could have some family games nights with my 10 year old. It was easy to pick up and understand for her.
Sadly it is very american so there are lots of terms and people within the cards that we were confused about but that didn’t ruin the game…. I just need to remove them when I get a chance.
My kids can’t get enough of this game. Definitely worth the investment for some quality family time.
Bought this for a 9 year olds birthday and he loved it. The whole family joined on from 9 to 50s and everyone had a good laugh at some of the answers
We bought this for our son’s 12th birthday and spent hours playing with it. It’s hilarious for all ages and just a ridiculous laugh. You can decide how long you want the game to be too so works for a quick game or if you’ve got some time to kill. There are a couple of American references we had to google, but our entire family love it!
I bought this for my daughters birthday party to play with her friends, wow, it was such a hit! They couldn’t stop playing it because they were all in stitches laughing at how funny it was! I have never seen a game being played so much by kids
Got nieces and nephews between 8 – 13yrs old and they enjoyed playing this for hours.
Fantastic game. Most I have laughed in a long time. Definitely need a min of 4 players to get the full effect and great for adults too
Bought for my nephew and have been shown several cards which dont seem appropriate but over all minus a few cards its great.
Hilarious and a really great card game for home or holidays to pass an enjoyable evening having a laugh with family and friends.
Bought as an add on for my sons birthday present. We payed it while waiting for our dinner at the local burger house and it was a good way for the family to bond and to get my son away from the computer for an hour or so. Lots of fun and very mild in comparison to CAH. I would recommend
his was meant to be played last Christmas day but a family member was ill so it did not happen and has not been used yet so i can not say if it is Easy to learn or can be taken on holiday. the adult version which has been played but last Christmas there was going to be children so a less rude one was needed. maybe this Christmas it will be played.
This is a great game for families and friends and gave us lots of laughs
It’s great and (once you’ve removed the 2 or 3 slightly suspect cards) much fun to play with family. It is very, very American, as you would imagine with it being an American game, which means there needs to be quite a bit of explaining. Will have a look for a British version, but this certainly does the job in the meantime.
Played with a 7 year old and a 10 year old both loved it!
After a few games you see the same cards, need an extension pack.
So fun and silly! Lots of Americanisms that we didn’t get…but that’s to be expected.
We thought this would be a great kid version of cards against humanity so bought it for our 11yo. Some of the “answers” are too young for our 11yo so not as funny. It’s very Americanised too, so once again some of the humour is lost. Would suggest looking for a uk version if there even is one. I would not recommend.
Love this game because it’s funny and good for childre
My 10 year old daughter loved this game it’s a bit rude but that made it even funnier!!
This is a good alternative for kids to play but be warned your world wise teenagers will not appreciate it, especially if they know of the adult version. Some funny answers to be had but not as cringeworthy or histaerical as your quiet wife placing the audacious answers in the adult one.
Would recommend for younger or naieve children but let’s face it, they will want the full on version if they know about it.
Brilliant laugh, we play it as a family, some quotes a bit risky for the kids but still loads of fun, will need to try the adult versio
We had great fun with this card game at Christmas yes we recommend this
For context: My 11year old daughter rolls her eyes at the mention of a “family game night” and would love nothing more than to be holed away in her bedroom listening to something that vaguely resembles music.
I brought this for Christmas as we were hosting all the family (ages 5-85) and genuinely everyone was able to play. Moreover, everyone was able to enjoy this game. Some even laughed so hard that their cheeks hurt well in to the next day.
On the surface, and for the younger ones, this game is just about making silly sentences; for those old enough to pick up on innuendo it’s awkward fun; and for the adults it’s utterly brilliant to see an entire family all play together and ENJOY each other’s company.
FYI- there are no eye rolls at the mention of game night anymore. Win!
This game is so funny! The sentence combinations that can be made will have everyone in stitches.
Bought this for my cheeky ten year old. We were all in fits playing this aged 7-43
I don’t think our family has laughed so hard playing any game together!! Can’t wait to buy the expansion packs!!! Every non-prude family should definitely buy this
Bought to enjoy with the family. We had a laugh playing this game. Deffinetly a good buy for family with teenage children.
Already bought them an annoying drum kit? The joke book about farts? Get this to commit the adults to becoming involved. There is no escape!
This is a great kids game but definitely geared more towards the 5-10 year old age range.
Great fun for the family or all ages from 6-65. Easy to follow, can play anywhere.
I have ‘cards against humanity’ which is fab, but excludes some family members! When I saw this version, I got it straight away. Even as an adult, it’s funny and highly recommended for families.
A lot of fun, but there are some cards that are definitely a bit more mature. Be aware that even though this is designed to play with a younger audience it may still be a bit riskque.
Filled with potty humour but of a more PG13 variety – my son is who is 10 loves it, as do the adults of 30 yrs+…… maybe that says more about our humour???
Fun but adults might find the humor a little corny.
Bought this game for 8YO and we all enjoy playing it. Lots of laughs and great for a family game night.
This game is amazing, can be played by all the family, lots of laughter all round
When I bought this, I was a little nervous having read reviews and never having played the original game of Cards against Humanity but I have heard how controversial it can be.
It took me 2 months after purchase to bite the bullet and play this with my son (14) and daughter (12). As their mum, I was very anxious.
HOW WRONG WAS I?!
We have played it numerous times since and everytime it gets better and better. The cards may repeat, and sometimes dont make any sense but we have all cried with laughter.
I’m very lucky that my children have a wicked sense of humour, as we involve them in random adult chat a lot.
It has also opened up a lot of conversation starters (be it funny or educational) which I have found invaluable. It gets my children off their technology, out of their rooms and playing games with their parents again. Also, invaluable as this is time I get to have fun with my children again.
I highly recommend this game, especially if you have a very open sense of humour.
Mums – get the tena ready!
Omg what a great game. Didnt stop playing it. Really fun. Glad i purchased it.
Bought as a family game, our kids (ages 18, 14, 7) thought it was hilarious. There is silliness in it for the 7 year old and lots of innuendo for the adults. Fantastic family game that will have your crying with laughter.
Lots of hilarious options. Some are potty humour if that’s a factor, but the name of the game should tip you off on that one.
If, like me, you are the one who has to read and explain the rules of the game to everyone else then this game is a total joy. Anyone of any age can be confidently playing within 30 seconds and will spend the rest of the game rolling round on the floor in stitches laughing. It is also really easy to dip in and out of the game whenever you want. Some cards are for the US rather than the UK market but not too many and it doesn’t spoil the game at all. Most fun and funny game I have ever played.
Honestly some of these reviews are crazy. This is really funny. Played it at Christmas with my 8, 10 & 14 year old. Was really funny.
The worst thing about this game is how long around takes. Too much laughing to get through the answers
Kids absolutely love this game and well worth i
This was such a good buy and by far my sons favourite present. Some of them go over his head but are even more of a giggle to the adults for that reason. Worth the money for endless hours of fu
Hilarious. This game was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and family. My 14 year old was gifted it at Christmas. If you don’t like toilet humour do not bother buying this game. We don’t mind and found it extremely funny. There is one card we’ve come across so far that some may not like referring to a ladies region but as long as your children know there’s a time and a place this is not a problem.
Kids had a lot of fun playing with the game.
Fun to play, especially with a large group. Easy to learn. Great for adults and children. Recommend it.
Bought for a Christmas present and the recipient loved i
Gave it as a gift to a 16 year old and the whole family joined in and loved it!
This is a really fun game. Our entire family enjoyed it and shared lots of family friendly laughs.
