My 2.5 year old loves kinetic sand. We’ve tried various brands and I find kinetic sand to be the best, it binds together better and doesn’t leave as much mess as other brands. However, with this one, it doesn’t stick as well, so theres always lots to clean up,I’m not sure if it’s because it’s scented.
With that being said, my son absolutely loves it. He plays with it daily, and chooses it over his other sets of sand.
My son LOVEE this. Such a fun little set, it’s kept him entertained for hours and we love kinetic sand. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that the scents are so overpowering, they’re just too much for me.
My Grandaughter loved this present, easy to use but as is normal with kinetic sand products expensive for what it is.
Gift for 3 year old within minutes the colours got mixed together despite supervision but still very good creative play and it was very much enjoyed and still is some weeks later.
This smells lovely but is also really good value for money!
My 3 years old and 7 year old both really enjoy kinetic sand. I quite like it myself ha ha and bonus it’s really easy to hoover up.

Bought as a present for my 10-year-old and she loves it. Very clever with the separate compartments to scoop like ice cream. The different colours are really cute and my daughter enjoyed making sundaes and ice cream cones.
A word of warning, though the smell is very strong for the scented sand. I could smell it from the other room. It’s that strong.
It’s good fun though and the kids love it.
Much smaller than expected for the price but little one had had lots of fun with this stuff. Cleans up nice and easy too
Comes with small tray, waffle maker and icecream sundae glass. They smell like their flavours but chocolate flavour not too pleasant. Expected more sand for money but still enjoyed for hours.
Brilliant stuff. Just disappointed as NO storage tubs for the 3 smelly sands.
The sand itself is very nice but the scent is too strong and after 10 min of play you have enough, better buy unscented
Purchased this as a present for a little girls birthday, great value. I have since purchased a second for my daughter who loves it especially the scents. Would definitely recommend.
Our 3 year old loves playing with kinetic sand so we bought this as a present for her giving up her dummy. It’s a good little set, but a bit annoying that once you’ve used it, the colours get mixed up! It doesn’t affect the use of it and little girl isn’t bothered about colours being mixed up! It’s definitely a hit and I know she’ll play with it lots.
Kinetic sand is a great sensory toy and this idea of the ice cream kinetic sand is amazing. My child loves it and actually plays with it for a long time. It also smells amazing (strawberry, vanilla and chocolate) and the serving tools that come with it are very cleverly made. I was watching the way my child was playing with this set and was very pleased with the different ways she was able to practice skills, learn how to play, be creative, etc.
But the sand in this kit falls apart more than the other sets I’ve bought (same brand just different sets). The sand in the other sets tend to stick together better making it less messy. Seeing this is an ice cream set, one would think that they would want the sand to stick together better so that it doesn’t fall everywhere when the child scoops it up and puts it in the cone/cup. The other thing is that the sand comes in plastic bags that are not reusable so I had to go find separate containers for each one to store it in. It would have been nice if they provided containers for the 3 sand colors.
But overall, very pleased with the purchase, you just have to be ready to vacuum afterwards.
In general kinetic sand is not a mess free game, so we had no expectations of that.
My daughters were really excited when they saw the set and enjoyed making ice cream with the various tools. It is important to note that all the colors get mixed in a second so it is only pretty in the first few minutes. It didn’t bother them though and they continued playing for hours. The smell is nice.
This stuff in general is amazing. I can play with it for hours!
This particular set was a gift, so I can’t comment on it specifically, but you can’t go wrong with Kinetic Sand.
This is a fantastic sensory play toy for all ages! I have a 1.5 year old (supervised), 5 year old, 7 year old and an 11 year old who all played with this set (and some additional kinetic sand I bought). We all ended up playing with it for hours a day for the first week and they are still excited to play with it every time I get it out! I love that it doesn’t fry up like play doh and it literally smells AMAZING in this set. The kids had so much fun playing with the different tools it came with and making ice cream for each other. Genuinely pleased about this purchase as it was pretty inexpensive for what you get 🙂
My grandkids have been playing with this for hours. The scent of ice cream is well pleasing to their nose. It’s super easy to clean up and the storage containers makes it easy for grandkids to put away. Highly recommend this as a gift for any age.
Boy, it’s messy BUT your child will have a wonderful time making cones. My 2 year old daughter, really had fun with this and got so excited when I asked her to make me a cone. I recommend 🙂 Price was great too.

Eigentlich alles wirklich super einziges Manko der starke Geruch. Finde das der Sand zu stark riecht. Er soll ja noch Schokolade, Vanille und Erdbeer riechen aber finde das schon sehr extrem. Ansonsten super.
My 3yo loves kinetic sand & plying “ice cream” & figured this would be perfect, which it was! Like all kinetic sand, it is a bit messy, but that’s expected. Love all the details they added as far as toppings, cups, spoons, scooper etc. & the scent! So realistic! It is a bit much for me however, but daughter loves it.
My granddaughter loves this, you can definitely smell the different sands. Would absolutely recommend she plays for hours with this, if it gets on the carpet just hoover it up.
