Look – I’m a big bloke. I break stuff. This doesn’t look like it’s going to fall apart anytime soon – pull down side table is a little flimsy, but at least it’s got one! Not too sure about the huge ‘King Camp’ logo on the back rest – hoping people at festivals don’t interpret that incorrectly.

Very strong chai
Great chair used for camping very sturdy. The tray and side compartments come in very handy. Only downside is the backrest is quite low so if you’re tall sitting back fully can be uncomfortable. Overall a great chair .

The chair is everything it should be except it arrived with one of the velcro pocket closures ripped off and stuck to its other half. See photos.

Really Sturdy but lightweigh
We were looking for a camping chair which would be strong enough for larger people (we’re not little), but would fold down small enough to fit into the boot of our campervan. These are brilliant, easy to unfold/fold and comfortable too.

Well made comfortable chair – first camping chair i was able to sit in and not feel scared.
The KingCamp directors chair is a great chair for camping trips or fishing trips. It’s not like a normal folding chair it’s made of very strong steel, has padded seat, backsupports and armrests for high levels of comfort and it has a side table and several storage pockets on the sides. The side table is great having a cupholder slot as it means you can safely store a cuppa while you wait. The side pockets are great too, plenty of space for your phone, wallet, keys and any other essentials you may want.
The price is fair, it’s a lot more expensive than a camp chair from Tesco’s but the quality is 10 x better. Overall value for money is still good and the product is fantastic.

These are super comfy, sturdy and have bags of storage on them. Highly recommended, we use them in the garden & while camping… roomy, sturdy and the little drink shelf is excellent too.

The floor is not a friend.
Watching a game of cricket sitting in a folding director chair, I had great difficulty getting out of it and the chair tipped over. I was shuck up it took 3 guys to get me on my feet, I am not a big chap, but something caused my knee go stiff.
At home informed the family of what happened. I started looking out for a better design fold up chair
Having found this chair order it. It was already made does not fold like the previous one. It stay full size but closers flat.
I find it comfortable it’s seating hight is higher actually suits my leg size. Please with it .

You know when they say it’s a wide seat but you just know you’re going to have to squeeze into it anyway? No – I’m wide and this chair is roomy even for me. It’s great looking, and they’ve thought of everything. I love that the chair is made from coated steel (so it’s strong and won’t rust), the table placement is thoughtful (low enough for comfortable access and out of the way), and the pockets – you’ll like them. It looks and feels sturdy yet I can carry it easily. That’s all – of all the chairs I researched this gets an A++. Can’t wait to to sit on a windy summit with my babe, read a book, or sit and supervise a fossil find in an old quarry. I’m a sceptic, but I’ve been won over. On pushing it open and it snapping into place, the first thing I noticed was how wide it is…..and I am by no means narrow in width! I sat in the seat comfortably. The back supported me enough with some recline and the fold up table on the size is amazing.
The only thing some people might dislike is folding them up – they are not overly easy to fold but I guess that come with time. If you want a seat that you can actually lean on the frame to get in/get out of, you want one of these.

Well made sturdy comfortable chair, steel frame construction does add to their weight compared with cheaper aluminium framed types. However they are not so heavy as to be difficult to use.

Over the last three years I have got through three camping chairs, ranging from the cheaper to the more expensive. This one was praised on a camping website for the heavier chap, so as the price was good I went for it. It’s fairly sturdy and folds up nicely. Time will tell, but I’ve tried it out and it’s good so far. It’s built like a director’s chair so the back exposes a gap that the wind can whip through and be felt between your trousers and your jumper, so I’ll have to make other arrangements for that. Nevertheless, if it doesn’t break then its worth it’s five stars.

Time will tell, but I’ve tried it out and it’s good so far. It’s built like a director’s chair so the back exposes a gap that the wind can whip through and be felt between your trousers and your jumper, so I’ll have to make other arrangements for that. Nevertheless, if it doesn’t break then its worth it’s five stars.
Great chairs
I am very pleased with these chairs. I use mine for painting outdoors and the tray and the pockets are very useful. You can sit in them for some hours in comfort and I am a large person so all good.

Arrived on time,Used for fishing, little tray handy for keeping bait on and a drink. Pockets are good for little bits of tackle to keep handy,seems sturdy enough, writing after using for a few times but happy up to now.
Kingcamp Heavy Duty Camping Folding Director’s Chairs
I loved these chairs, they were easy to unfold and were padded on the back and seat for extra comfort, everyone who has sat in them has said how comfortable they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

So, I bought these to be a long term replacement for the crappy 7 foldable ones that I have to end up replacing every year as they are flimsy and rotten. I’m no where near the weight limit but I like to feel safe in a chair. This, this I do. Took them to my parents for a socially distant afternoon in the garden. They were impressed by the chairs as much as we were. Sturdy and comfortable for 3ish hours of sitting on them. The table is really handy. Can’t wait to take them camping. We’re off to Oban next month and they will be in the sub floor in the boot of the car, just in case we stop somewhere at the roadside for a Picnic

VERY COMFY CHAIR
Sick of the fold up chairs where the plastic clips break after a few trips away. Yes this chair is a tad more expensive than lots of camping xhairs, but so far worth every penny. Only downside I can thing of is that it doesn’t have a cover/carry bag, which would be ideal

Excellent Chair for Big Me
The only issue I have is that the backrest could be a little deeper of the back a little higher – it tends to bunch up making it a little uncomfortable across the back. That aside these are superb chairs.

Really sturdy and the side table is a great touch. Folding can be tricky because it’s so stiff, but nothing worth worrying about.

Not yet used chair but sturdy, well constructed and looks like it will last. Well packaged and delivered on time.

We needed folding chairs for our caravan and these fitted the bill perfectly, they are sturdy and well padded. They are also not that heavy as weight is an issue with travelling!!. Would definitely recommend.
I am a big Lady and had a Directors Chair which my bum popped out of at the sides and I was always waiting on it collapsing. This chair is so comfortable and strong kept foldable. Love the handles to carry it. Was a little more expensive but worth every peppy for the peace of mind when using it. Highly recommended. *****
