Very easy to install attractive appearance exactly in position where I needed it on kitchen worktop. Run some clear silicone around to seal for hygiene

Looks great in our new kitchen island, exactly what we wanted – 2 usb ports, 2 standard plug sockets and a bluetooth speak which packs a decent punch given it’s not really it’s primary function. Love it.
New kitchen power socke
Very good to have in position in the kitchen, saves effort in putting plug in or out.
Nice looking unit, but do check the case earth
Unit looks good with the USB sockets being particularly useful.
However after install I checked the case earth and found it open circuit!, This was located to the terminal block not being placed on the metal spur in the socket base, cleaning off the paint and pushing on the terminal block and tightening the screw rectified the issue.
A general DIYer many not think to check the earth but it is important.

This is as good as the photos in the advert, very impressed, didn’t fancy putting another wall socket in, lots of mess, channeling walks for cables etc, already had socket at back of cupboard so used a junction box to splice off to new work top socket.
Great inside a cupboard
This makes for a handy little charging station inside a living room cupboard. Neat and tidy, easy to access as it’s on the angle and does what it is supposed to. We had an electrician install it, so I can’t really comment on how easy it was.
WOW
No electrician even knew these existed…I was doing a study area in my daughters room and the only option was data trunking. Very ugly, then I found these twin sockets/usb’s. They were cheap so I said I’d chance it…WOW they not only look great, but are working perfectly. Definitely recommend

I got three of these plugs for the worktops in my kitchen. They look really nice, far nicer than the white plastic sockets. My boyfriend fitted them and said they were relatively easy to install. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because they scratch so easily.

Easy to install. Has a nice finish to the product. Was a lot cheaper on Amazon than any other retailer. Looks more expensive than the price paid. Have installed 3 in my kitchen. Only downside is the surface is a little scratched but would put that down to my own carelessness more than a fault of the produc

Looks good. Easy to install. We bought two and mounted them back to back on a kitchen island. If doing this you need to either bolt or tie the sockets together to provide stability when unplugging items. We used cable ties.
The sockets do scratch easily.
Have just wired this in and have to say looks great only small problem is the grommet hole to pass the wires through was a bit small so was tight but apart from that no ok. Looks very neat and has the added advantage of having a USB connection so less plugs lying around.

We have installed this switch socket on the kitchen worktop and everyone that sees it says how fantastic it looks. It is so easy to use and above all there are no trailing leads.

We lost a couple of the chromed screw covers and the supplier kindly provided a replacement.
sturdy worktop socke
A well made product which we used to add power points on a run of worktop. Felt it would benefit from a rubber flange or gasket which would take up any gaps between the product and surrounding materials.
Expensive for what it is but it does the job nicely.
Decent quality but overpriced and installation issues
Visually, the product looks good except the screw caps are a different colour to the main body. Functionaly, it works and is sturdy.
However, the cable enty point is unfortunately placed, leading to some difficulties as my installation was on a counter top with bottom cable entry, virtually no way to achieve this without slicing the cable as the cover goes all the way to the back of the unit top and bottom. Knockouts on either the top or bottom, or both, would help installation for others.

Pleased with the design & manufacture of the socket . One minor problem . When the socket was installed & connected to the supply . nothing worked on the socket. After checking supply voltage etc , took the cover off the sso & checked all the conections on the sso itself . There is a terminal block inside the sso where the supply is connected to. From there, the supply is transferred to the connections on the back of two 13A sso’s & the usb sockets via manufacturer installed cables . Unfortunately I found all of these connections to be loose , hence no supply . Check all of these prior to installation.
Screw covers missing
The prime package was fine. But when opened, the box inside holding the switch had been opened and the screws and the screws covers were missing.
Could you supply me with the screw covers ASAP

Great addition to our kitchen worktop
Was very easy to fit, the wall plugs supplied are a little cheap, I’d worry they may pull out over time with the pulling force of removing plugs so I used my own fischer duopower fixings, the product though is fantastic, looks great fitted on kitchen worktop for easy use of electric knives, blender etc
Good quality
I bought this to put on the end of a breakfast bar. I like the two sockets and two USB’s, which will be enough for me and my family to charge phones etc when sitting there.
Nice looking and well made.

Great addition to our new kitche
The sockets arrived promptly. They are off great quality and have a solid feel to them and hide perfectly under our kitchen wall units, we are very pleased with the sockets.
There is only one negative to mention, our kitchen installers/electrician had quite an fiddly job fitting the electric cables into the sockets but the end result is outstanding.
Smart looking sockets for a worktop
I didn’t want a solid wall dug into with all the concomitant mess and repair. These worktop sockets can have the cabling run along the back of cupboards. I prefer these sockets to ones inset into the worktop as some inset sockets have boxes below that might interfere with drawers etc or be liable to let water in. The sockets look smart.
Expensive but you are paying for the aesthetics.

Exactly as described, arrived on time and now installed. Didn’t want to channel the wall to conceal power supply cable so bent casing to accommodate in corner. Worked just fine.
Wiring Diagrams Confusing 😭
Brilliant concept but the wiring diagrams on here are rubbish, they’re confusing.
Why don’t you show a photo of the opened section of this socket so we can see inside it where the cable entres and the wiring terminals. This would make better sense wouldn’t it?

well designed and useful produc
Nicely designed product, the USB charger and line-in/speaker are very handy additions.
Also useful to have an on/off switch for the plugs and USB charger separate, and the neon light to tell you it is on are also useful features.
It looks good on our beech kitchen work surface.
Only complaint is the bar wobbles a bit. The fixing to the bench top is rock solid, but the bar still moves a few millimeters when you insert a plug. Not sure if this is as designed or a fault, but it is only a minor issue.
