Set up easy & great detection range
After tweaking the detection range and light settings this is a great piece of equipment lighting up all the area I intended it to do.. would recommend if you need extra security lighting !!!
Well worth the money
After wasting money on cheaper units that stopped working I spent a little extra on 2 of these. Easy to install as the back unit is wired to and the PIR/led unit then clips on.
Perfect for low disturbance installs
Needed a light at back of property where I park my car, heads can be pointed virtually downward so does not annoy neighbours only illuminates car and drive around i
Perfect for the job.
Super easy to fit with even basic DIY skills providing you are replacing an existing one, obviously get a tradesman if it’s a new installation, nice bright light and multi directional, can’t fault it.
good bright ligh
gives a good bri.ght light and lamps have a reasonable amount of adjustment. I get occasional “false” activation, when lights come one for no apparent reason, but could be wildlife or cats moving quickly across the PIR. Quite happy with it and easy to fit with a bit of electrical knowledge
Seems really well made
I was surprised how nicely made this is, neat and seems robust. easy enough to fit and a good spread of light.
Sensibly designed, easy to set up.
One of the best motion sensor security lights I’ve installed, and I’ve installed plenty. Good choice of fixing and wiring options and the clip-in terminals inside the rear housing keep the fiddly wiring to a minimum. The motion sensor is not overly sensitive but good enough to switch on the light as soon I open my back door- and that’s impressive.
Great outdoor security ligh
Easy to install, fitted to the front of my property for extra security. The motion detector is great as soon as someone steps onto the front path, that leads to our house bang, the light is activated. The lights are nice and bright and great being led. I’m so pleased how this light performs have purchased another one to go on the back of the house.
Very simple to install.
The simplest light to install. Works exceptionally well, but it more of a spot than flood, that said that is exactly what I wanted.
good quality
I have been using these for a few years now and never had a faulty one(im an electrician probably installed 30 at least)They are very bright and easily adjustable. Price is reasonable too
Good twin PIR lamp
Seems of good quality and easy to fit. Twin lamps are fully adjustable up and down and the detection range from left to right can be tweaked to suit. Recommended.
First Class Produc
It is quite refreshing to come across a product which has had a lot of thought go into the design. This security light is certainly an excellent product.
Great Ligh
Bought these for the side of house which covers a large area being on a corner plot. They light up the area perfectly well. Each lamp can be adjusted left/right and up/down. Just the job.
After installing one of these I’d happily say this is a quality, well designed light with some little features that put it a cut above most of the cheaper security lights.
The back casing has a bottom entry cutout but comes with different fittings (grommet + what looks like a trunking adapter). This is fixed to the wall first and only contains a terminal block to attach the incoming mains feed (L, N + E). The wiring is simple, but a little different, as it’s into a terminal block which the front portion of the light then slots into when the unit is assembled.
Checking the light is a doddle, thanks to a test mode on the duration dial which will turn the light on briefly when it detects motion. The light comes with a plastic mask that can be cut and fitted over the PIR sensor to mask out areas from the motion detection (instructions included). You can then set the light to stay on for an approximate duration by adjusting the duration dial. It come pre-marked with some times (1 min, 5 mins, 20mins etc) which makes this easier.
The two arms mounting the lights can be angled apart slightly to give a wider area of illumination. The light heads themselves can also be tilted down a little. The amount of adjustment does seem a little limited & it’d be nice if you could adjust the arms & the lights a little more.
The only issue I have is the use of plastic clips to secure the back of the light. Not sure how well these would stand up to weathering over time if you wanted to get into the light a year or two later to move it etc.
