Great tool, not much update from WV5
I love Karcher window vac and this is my 3rd model (I had WV 2 and WV 5 before). The battery in WV 5 stopped working after 2 or 3 years so I took this opportunity to upgrade to the newest model. I must say, the digital time display is nice and the silicon blade is softer and better gliding but otherwise it’s doing the same good job as the previous one (which has now been passed down to my Mother in law after a new battery had been purchased for it).
Good battery life
The window vac works well and has a very good battery life compared to the previous model. It does however, take a long time to fully charge.
It does the job, not 100 percent.
Overall it is a nice machine, I wouldnt give it 5 stars but 4 stars is ok.
If you want 100 percent finishing touch on the job then after cleaning and sucking the dirty water it leaves abit of stains which needs to be cleaned the old traditional way with a micro-fibre cloth.
As it’s new water container is tigh
It is very good. I bought one as my friend has the same one and loves it. I am unable to remove water container so have to yell for my husband to empty it so I can continue. It may be as it’s new. My friends is so easy to remove!!

Purchased this following 5 failed WV 2 units which stopped charging after months of using to clean shower daily so hopefully this upgrade will last longer. I originally had a WV1 that lasted years with no problems and so far the WV6 appears to be living up to my expectations. The wiper blade is now silicon rather than rubber so time will tell if it lasts.

Simple, easy to use, unsure why I haven’t had one sooner. Simple battery battery display, basic instructions to follow. Just need a cloth to wipe the edges of the windows off. I have used on my windows and mirrors. Can use in bathroom for cleaning tiles and screen. Recommend this item, will make window cleaning more enjoyable for one.

I put off buying one of these and then got fed up with my kids and cat putting their sticky hands & paws all over the inside of our large conservatory windows. One thing I didn’t think about was that we have deep window sills on the inside of the window. With its short neck design, it is tricky to get right down to the bottom of the windowpane in a top to bottom motion without leaving a smear. Have tried running it across the windows horizontally, but usually end up having to give a final buff off for a perfect finish. It’s a small inconvenience for the job it does overall.
Don’t let it put you off, I would buy it again knowing this and it does a great job of cleaning the windows overall and without the usual need for overbearing smelly and harmful checmicals.

Bloody love i
Was nervous as let’s face it it’s a pricey window cleaner, but cheaper than getting window cleaner round. I’ve tried everything on my windows, mirrors but always leave them smeared and worse off, but of practice realise don’t be stingy with the water spray or it squeaks and leaves lines, as I get to the bottom it does dry but found it left mark on plastic edge on window so I do wipe the blade if it’s getting dirty. I cant believe how much I hate cleaning windows to now going round doing them all, achy arm after but was excited to use it, so now can do in stages

Light weight and easy to use
Easy to use. Just be careful with greenhouse glass – only because I cleaned a broken part and I didn’t keep my fingers in the right place so cut my fingers.
Karcher WV6 Time saving cleaning!
Decided to purchase this Karcher model after having Bi-folds fitted in the hope of reducing cleaning times!
The set up was very easy and the unit is alot lighter than I thought. It glides effortlessly across the windows leaving a dry, streak free finish that just sparkled. I was surprised how quickly it worked, although there is a very generous battery life the whole house was cleaned having used just 25% of the battery.
I was so impressed I also use it on the shower unit and car windows. I would highly recommend this product, so far there have been no cons!

Long battery life with indicator Easy to use
I upgraded after reading the write ups. My original Kercher I have had for a couple of years and passed it on to my Grandaughter who loves it. This new one I have had since Feb. and it has several upgrades and is Great it is used for the windows and the shower which Sparkles. The battery is great lasting for a long time it has never run out when I have used it. Lovely very well made and smear free windows

This is my second karcher . I only upgraded because I’d had the previous for a couple of tears and this one has a window with time remaining . I use this product every day on my shower, it gets all the water up and saves on added cleaning which also stops mildew build up
Worth the extra money for the newer model
This machine does ‘exactly what it says on the can’. Doesn’t take too long to charge; and holds the charge well. We are using it in our bathroom to clear tiles, glass screen and mirrors. It’s easy to use, quick and works well. The digital display of the battery charge is very handy too for monitoring useage. They promise 100 minutes on a single charge……………so far, its heading that way after a week’s use.
Great little device.
Great little device, we use it for Windows inside and out, shower screens, TV’s, cooker hood mirrors. In fact any thing with a flat surface. It doesn’t like any fluff as it gets stuck under the rubber and doesn’t suck properly. However it’s a great device so I bought 2 more for my sister and mum.

Having two previous Karcher for shower cleaning, this new model is not as efficient at wiping down due to different rubber blade. Excellent battery life, and smaller blade supplied is a useful tool especially for window cleaning

Great little gadget and the battery lasted doing all the back and front windows of the house plus the glass doors on both showers. The only slight drawback is the changing of the wiper blade from the larger to the smaller one is a little fiddley. Otherwise I would have given it all fives.

It does a wonderful job, and makes the whole cleaning process so much easier or so I’m told…Ps you only get a modest supply of cleaner, so best to get an additional supply.

Good product = does the job well. Battery performance noticeably longer-life than earlier versions with handy display to show remaining power reserve. New silicon lip design also noticeably better than traditional old design with standard rubber blade. Suction not particularly strong (compared to older model I own) but it’s quite adequate to suck up water. Very satisfied …

ease of use
Bought this item for my daughter whos dogs jump at the patio doors leaving muddy smears,she is more than happy with the karcher,and so easy to use.

I got this to clear condensation from my windows on cold mornings. Battery life is excellent but it’s quite a bulky thing to use and I can’t clear down to the bottom of my windows without holding it upside down. If you do that when there’s already some water collected it leads out. Suction could be better and it takes several passes to clear the drops that form when the wiper attachment pushes moisture down the window. I usually have to dry the last drops with a tissue. All that said it’s better than having to use tissues or cloths alone.
Improved on previous models
Great on window condensation but only works vertically. The sachet of detergent had leaked in the box. Even though the outside of the box was stained it was still despatched by Amazon.
Just wow!
I had my doubts but it is wow. Last year we had a 5 bi-folding door set fitted and a lantern, up to now we had struggled to work out how we were to clean the inside of the lantern. The Karcher solved the issue. On vertical windows it is a dream to use. The roof is taking a bit of practice with the angles. My only con is the extension pole is not a standard Harris/Doca screw fitting which is a shame.

Excellent for sucking up condensatio
We wanted something to suck up internal window condensation and this does an excellent job. As I window cleaner I read it may leave streaks; that may be so but a light wipe over with a chamois cloth will attend to that.

Quite squeaky when trying to clean edges of windows & still have to wipe round edges. Easy to use & cuts down on cleaning time. The bigger the window the more time you save.

Take pane (pain) out of cleaning glass
Purchased the Karcher window vac for cleaning a large area of glass in a conservatory which mist up during the cold winter nights. The vac makes short work of the process of removing the condensation. Waiting for the summer to use the vac when there will be the need to clean the external side of the premises windows, which I am sure will reduce the time working by half.

Absolutely love this Karcher window vac; I had been debating getting one for a while and ended up buying one in the Black Friday Deals, definitely worth the money! Makes cleaning windows so much quicker and easier, I really like the spray bottle and wipe that comes with it as it only takes a few seconds to clean the window and then a few more seconds to dry with the window vac!
This model is pretty quiet when on and has really good battery life; I’ll be able to use this multiple times before having to charge again!

How have I ever managed without this?
This is amazing. I didn’t realise how dirty my windows were until I saw the water! Now that I’ve used it once (it didn’t take long to get the hang of it) I’m using it everywhere. I’ve done the tiles in my bathrooms and the car windows too. It’s excellent. I have a 4yr old girl but her sticky and grubby finger marks are now a thing of the past! 10/10!

I was initially sceptical about this product being as good as it said on tv. I needn’t have worried. It does exactly as it says. It’s light and easy to use. Initially bought for the shower room, screen/window/mirror. I have put it to the test and used it to clean windows, doors, mirrors and tiles with excellent results. It has saved so much time compared to manually cleaning which never ever gave the results this product has. The battery charges quickly as well, another bonus. Definitely recommend.

Cost was high but well worth it, stays charged for ages and we have only charge item once, it’s been used daily for 3weeks and still half charged. Highly recommend.

I was put off the cheaper models by numerous reports of badly sealed electronics getting soaked and then failing. This seems well built and the water tank has a non-return system that looks as though it’s working well, although you don’t want to use it inverted for too long as the water needs gravity to get into the tank. The squeegee heads are good and easy to use, and the battery life is excellent. If I have one criticism, it’s that I’d happily sacrifice some battery life (say a third) in order to have a more powerful suction. I use this to clear condensation from crappy, old aluminium double glazing units and it can take a while. A bit more suction would sort that right out. But overall, it’s doing it’s bit to keep moisture levels in our house down a bit on the cold mornings.

Great battery, and the suction power seems perfect for what it needs to do…
Only “gripe”, is the knack you need to avoid leaving smudges on your glass. I’ve not yet worked out what I’m doing wrong or not doing to get the streaks.. a common complaint in reviews.
If you can avoid the streaks, it’s a great buy.
Great but not worth £80+
Great product once you get a grasp of technique like not using it on dry windows. Not really worth so much money though as it really is a glorified squidgee. Worth having it together with a spray bottle and wiper, spray and clean then vac up the moisture.

I always thought this kind of product was a bit of a gimmick but its revolutionized my cleaning. I use it for, obviously, windows, but work tops, kitchen cabinets, oven doors. Basically any smooth surface that I wash. The battery life is excellent and the two head sizes extremely useful
I considered buying one of these a couple of years ago but cancelled my order after reading the reviews. I’ve since moved into a larger house and now have lots more windows. I hate cleaning windows, as I was never ever able to achieve a smear-free finish and it used to drive me insane if I later caught some smearing showing up in sunlight. I pay for my windows to be cleaned externally, but have to admit I haven’t rushed to clean them internally. Hence why I thought I’d give the window vac another shot. Wow I am so impressed with it. So little effort required to clean the windows with smear-free results. I thought initially it wouldn’t be any good considering I could do the windows with a quick squirt wipe and vac. I was wrong. Ive managed to do the whole house in relatively short time. Once you get the knack the process speeds up, especially once I realised the vac works even at quite a quick pace, I was doing it rather slowly at first. The piece de resistance was trying it out on the inside of my car windscreen, which I havent done for ages, as I always seem to make it worse. Recently with the low sun it was very difficult to see through with the ‘film’ on the inside (is it breath marks?). The system made very short work of cleaning the windscreen inside and out, and ive never had such a clean screen, it sparkles. Absolutely recommed this product and I cant wait to try it out further on the hob, the splashback, mirrors and shower enclosures.

Great battery
Battery lasts as stated which is a big improvement from my previous WV2, which is the main reason I got this one.

A very good product which does exactly what it says – a no streak clean. Well designed, light and easy to use.
Every bit as good as the last one we had WV5 but the mechanism has been redesigned from the 5 to the 6 so you can’t used the blades from the 5 which isn’t environmentally friendly. So it Gorsel you to bin all the attachments of the old one. Would’ve got all five starts if they’d had kept the old fitting design to make it more eco friendly to save sending the old one totally to landfill

Don't Use Chemicals
Use hot soapy water for best results, then where you overlap use kitchen roll to and a bit of elbow grease to remove the rest.
Efficient tool
Speed at which able to clean large patio doors, walk in shower screen, mirrors and also small door panels. Managed a number of cleaning jobs on one filling of solution. Recommend purchase of diluteable 500ml solution for long term usage.

i ordered this originally and it wouldn’t charge at all, informed Amazon and they sent a new one within 24 hours and i returned the original. New one charges and is extremely good would also recommend the window cleaning solution.
does what it’s supposed to
I would give 5 stars, but when you try and use the squeezy bottle cleaner horizontally for cleaning glass table or tip it in any way it leaks everywhere. But the actual machine itself is frickin amazing.
Never had anything like this before. Works brilliantly and battery life excellent.
1 size of cloth 2 heads – it wraps round the smaller.
Dont be too light with the cleaning fluid, more works better.
Works sideways and upside down. – I found streaks less if vacumed at right angles to the cleaning direction.
A microfibre cloth is still useful to finish.
Have had a similar one before, but this one is much easier to take apart to clean. Great for cleaning water from glass and base of shower.
I needed to buy a new squeegee for cleaning the windows and thought I’d try one of these, although I was a bit sceptical. All scepticism has been swept aside as this is just awesome. It’s a lot lighter than I expected – and to be honest that made me think it was going to be a bit crap – but that just makes it easy to use. I also thought I’d be binning the little squirty bottle wiper, but that’s also brilliant as you don’t end up with water all over the place so no cleanup time. The vac sucks up every tiny drop of moisture leaving perfectly sparkly windows. And the smaller head comes in very handy – also unexpected. It ain’t cheap, but it’s a top quality piece of kit and well recommended.

So this review is based on the distinguishing features of the wv 6 in comparison to the earlier model. The ONLY difference is the extended battery life, and the fact that the percentage of remaining battery is clearly displayed. But even with the old style Karcher, I could easily clean all the window in my house for 30 minutes – if you bear in mind, the battery does not drain away when switched off. So why did I buy this for the extra amount – because it purport to suction water closer to window edges, which has always been the limit to these machines. If this was the case, I reasoned that it would be worth the additional almost double the cost of the older models. Does it get closer to the edge – NO, NO. NO. The suction rubbers are wider and feel more flimsy.

This is a well made pecie of kit and certainly worth upgrading from the lower specification.
Battery life is amazing,it has a count down to inform you on how many minutes you have left. The blades are amazing and love the fact you have a small blade to tackle the smaller windows. I use this ti clean all my windows inside and out, and I use it for my shower screen and tiles, really recomend
