Just the job
I bought this as a present for my husband and so far he is really pleased with it, nice and compact but does the jobs he wanted it for eg. Washing the conservatory, cleaning the car and patio with very satisfactory results. I would recommend this item.

Value for money and a must have for cleaning pavement.
Our old one has broken so had to get a replacement. Same model but a lot more powerful than our old K2 and works wonder for cleaning pavement. We have a large area and covers with weeds, it gets rid of the weeds as well, save us loads of money for weed killers. Excellent little machine makes block paving a lot efficient.

I had read many reviews about Karcher pressure washers before going ahead and buying this. I did not want anything too large, or heavy that would not fit in the shed in between uses. When it arrived, I will be honest and say it did look a bit fragile and plastic. I hoped I had not wasted money. The instructions (as with most things these days) are so brief it’s unbelievable. So I took to the Internet for help. Fortunately there are some good video tutorials on YouTube. So eventually this technophobe managed to put the jigsaw together and went off to try out her new toy.
In spite of its fragile appearance, this is a pretty powerful machine. It has cleaned my patio better than j have ever seen it. I tried to clean my car next, as I had also bought the brush attachment for washing cars. Again, it did a decent job.
Of course, there could be improvements made to this (better instructions?) And it does seem to be designed that you will not have everything you may need to do all that you would like with it. That is Karcher out to make more profit. But I am pleasantly pleased with this small pressure washer that you don’t need to be super string to lift, or operate.

Arrived on time and as described. Only used the once so far and all is well. Worked brilliantly. Easy to set up with all manuals.

Easy to use although the instructions for construction were poor . The electrical flex is entirely to short and I needed to use an extension. I ran it off the garden hose in order to achieve enough length to clean the whole of the patios an area 30 foot by 30 foot.
It is incredibly noisy to use.

Bought this for my 84yr old father, who usually washes two cars by hand no hose just buckets of waters most weeks, old style! So he wasn’t too sure when I bought, but once he got his head around the small light weight machine he came around, he loves it! No more filling watering can and bucket up, we did also get an outside tap fitted, also a cheap garden hose, all fitted great onto the machine, it’s so light to move around the car etc, extendable detachable handle, and the wheels are a little bonus, pressure adjustable easy to use, there is a hose at the back you can sit inside a wash/detergent bottle, but I Bought extras that attach to the machine, wash brush and foam gun,(karcher) both easy to attach and worked great and made my fathers weekly car wash a little easier for him. Great buy thank you

I am really happy with this product. The manufacturer is renowned and reliable. The price is very appealing and the product itself functions exceptionally well. It is easy to operate and has all the attachments you would need.
Everything I hoped for.
Used for both cleaning the patio and the cars and it worked very efficiently for both jobs. It would be better with a more flexible hose but other than that I have no complaints.

So pleased with this machine, it is small but powerful enough to do all the jobs I needed.

This is a fantastic little machine. I’ve used it to clean the patio and drive and they’ve come up a treat. Good value when you know how much you have to pay someone else to do it.

Easy to assemble, easy to use and has good pressure for all basic cleaning.
Brilliant. Ideal to remove stains moss weeds and discolouration from patio stones and drive.
It brought the patio back to original colour in seconds- using the attachment that spins the water jet into a circle.
It quickly made short work so the patio at the back and pathways around both sides of the house, path out the front and the drive was all restored easily.
One point us to make sure you insert the hose pipe attachment into the unit and handle firmly before clicking into a lock position. I hadn’t on the base unit without realising so when I turned it on it was leaking. It was fiddly and hard to unclick (much easier on the handle attachment). Once pushed far enough and reclining it to a lock it worked perfectly.
Definitely recommend it.

Really glad I purchased this item especially with the attachment for cleaning the stone slabs. It made the job much easier and kept the spray from going all over. Wish I had purchased one before instead of scrubbing with a yard brush. The only downside is that there is no where to attach the bottle of cleaning fluid but got around that problem by using an old boot lace on hanging the bottle on the back of the washer.

..but me being fastidious about feed back I decided to notified karcher of the fault .. to my surprise they didn’t even ask if I had cover they could see I o my just bought the product ..So they sent me a new power nosel ..

The item was delivered within the time promised, and was well packed.
Assembly is easy and the various attachments all connect well.
It’s a pity the patio cleaner doesn’t have a “brush crown”, as I believe they work well. However, I happened to have one spare from Mum’s old Karcher, and it fitted and worked perfectly, which was nice.
The vario wand settings allow for the right pressure/ pattern to be used for different jobs.
I mainly bought this to clean my patio and driveway flagstones; I first watered the areas with diluted Jeyes Fluid (other outdoor disinfectants are available) and let it work to kill/ loosen moss etc and disinfect. I then used the patio cleaner, passing over each flagstone slowly. I then attached the blaster to remove a few stubborn areas of lichen, did the concrete gravel boards at the bottom of the fence panels, and then angled the wand to wash away all the debis.
(I haven’t tried the cleaning agent yet)
The flags have come up really clean and they look like new. The Karcher performed really well and it seemed like the job was done in no time.
Some of my gravel boards had panel paint run down, and you will know how difficult it is to remove paint from concrete/ brickwork; well, the blaster wand, concentrated close for 10 or so seconds brought it off no problem!
I can’t comment on the long term efficacy of this particular model, but my family have used Karchers for many years without issue, and so I have confidence in the brand.
Just 1 star deducted for build quality of the wheels and handles that could be a little more robust, and the lack of a “brush crown” on the patio cleaner attachment; I think that regular users will miss this feature, although I appreciate that it can be purchased as an “optional extra”.
So yes, I can definitely recommend this pressure washer, as it does what it says on the tin (box).

Really nice product, ideal for jetwashing patios and washing cars. Some of the parts are a bit cheap and plasticy but the core functionality is great. One of my best and most useful buys on Amazon.

I purchased the K2 model, I didn’t buy it with the sole intention of doing my block paving & patio as these were quite large areas, I started on my storage bins & dustbins realy pleased with result. I then thought try the patio I was so impressed. I used the wand with no cleaner they turned from black to original sand colour. It is quiet & light and all the tools fit onto the main body. Still haven’t tried it on the car yet but going by previous performance I’m sure I’m going to be more than pleased.

i invested in this product ,because i recently purchased a prestige black car and i was advised not to use my usual local carwash due to swirls etc also iv had some very extreme quotes for a proper valet.. so i invested in this and several other car cleaning products ..and i must say its perfect for the job ..so easy to use and set up .. so i know this will pay for itself in a few months

I had a K2compact and having just finished cleaning my driveway bricks I must say this model did a very good job compared to the compact version.
As long as the motor lasts I would recommend this Karcher model.

I could have received this for my birthday and I would have been so happy.
Firstly it arrived 2 weeks earlier than the estimated date said so…win.
Secondly, it is a fantastic product. I have now cleaned my entire patio and the difference is amazing.
It comes with 3 different adaptor heads, a large circle for patios and large spaces, a high powered nozzle and a nozzle with 4 different modes, car, soft, medium etc.
It also comes with some cleaning solution which just links up to the washer.
The item is lightweight and portable and really easy to put together and use.

Perfect for cleaning the patio/garden furniture/car. Comes with a small bottle of patio washer detergent and a round patio washer attachment which speeds up the process considerably.
This pressure washer is powerful enough to clean my car and that is why I bought it. Watch YouTube videos to see how others have bought a snowfoam gun to fit on the lance base. Buy Snowfoam and a Shampoo product to go in the gun plus wash mitts. The results are really good.
The washer is constructed of very cheap feeling plastic.

A friend cleaned my patio a few weeks ago with her old karcher, and I was really unimpressed with the results, as I had been toying with the idea of buying a pressure washer, I thought now would be a good time. After reading the reviews for the K2, I ordered from Amazon.
Arrived next day, and I put it straight to work. It is really easy and quick to assemble, compact, so doesn’t need much space for storage, and as for how it works…. It is great.
It ate through years worth of lichen and algae like butter and has transformed my garden and front pathway back to almost new condition.
If you are considering a pressure washer, then I absolutely recommend the Karcher K2. I have only used one of the attachments, so can’t speak for the others, but having the option to switch between different intensities makes it really easy to clean off other areas and surface.

Just had house re rendered and have fair size patio space at the rear. Had been steeling myself not only to clean the concrete dust but it was long over due. I’d bought the patio cleaner solution and had an old Halfords pressure washer which needed a new hose. Long story short I saw and bought this. Honestly took me no time, didn’t even need the solution. I enjoyed it so much I can’t wait to do it again. In a nutshell, I would have paid someone the price of this to do it. Easy to use, ridiculously light and amazing results … So in summary how good? I’m now off to play golf this afternoon … yeah, that good, so just buy one!
I purchased this after much research and review reading. I did not have a pressure washer but wanted one to clean my patios having had my garden landscaped last May.
I didn’t want “a heavy beast” just something light, easy to use and store. This ticks all the boxes.
It is easy to set up and simple to use. After the initial set up, which is easy, plug on the water hose, plug in the power and press.
It comes with 2 lances and has adjustable flow settings depending on what you are cleaning.
I use a hozelock fitting on my hose pipe and there is no leakage whatsoever.
You can also use detergents and cleaners through a nifty little intake and mixer pipe . I haven’t used that yet, but it appears easy.
I have gone “Karcher happy” cleaning my patios, garden furniture, car, conservatory windows and roof and my soffets. Even my husband likes using it!

Great little unit that came recommended and was perfect for what we wanted. Sadly ours broke on the first use and had to be returned.
It’s quieter than the old one I had and it does a better job. I’m very pleased with it. But just one small criticism. You have to continually squeeze the trigger to operate it. It doesn’t take too much effort, but it’s a bit of a nuisance. For continued operation, eg. cleaning my driveway, it would be nice if the trigger could be locked down.

A seriously brilliant machine
Absolutely love this product. I have had a Karcher for years and decided to upgrade to thus model. Wow! So pleased, I cleaned every path and 3 patios in 2 days. Lightweight and so very easy to use. Highly recommended.

Have washed 5 cars already, that’s 25 saved from using garage and a quarter of purchase price covered already. Great for alloy wheel and wheel arch cleansing. Only regret is not having bought one about 5 yrs ago

Every power washer has good and bad reviews, even the more popular ones like Karcher. I chose this one not knowing what to expect in terms of performance but I’m really impressed. It was easy to assemble and It cleaned my very dirty and green patio and pathways really quickly. I’m not so sure about the build quality tho. The handle kept falling off and the spare wands kept falling off the unit also. It looks and feels very entry level. If it lasts a few years then I’ll be pleased. Great for cleaning patios, furniture, paving and cars.

Great pressure washer for the money, powerful enough to clean my dirty block paving. Would have given this 5 stars if it wasn’t a couple of design flaws. The detergent port on the back and the fact that the pressures hoses once connected cannot be easily disconnected and that you cannot mount the detergent bottle on the washer. I assembled the machine ready for first use then pulled out the tube at back to put into the included bottle of floor cleaner only to discover the tube was not connected to anything inside the pressure washer washer and came all the way out. I now have to find buy a star headed screw driver as the whole back of the machine will need to be removed to connect this tube up. Also there is nowhere to mount the bottle of detergent on the machine it simply sits on the floor behind the washer and could be easily knocked over whilst using the machine. If you forget it’s for example and wheel away the washer.
For the price, I think this is excellent value. Although the construction is all plastic, it’s quite robust and as long as you don’t chuck it around it should be fine with normal use. The patio cleaner’s shroud is made of flimsier plastic, so it feels like I need to be a little bit more careful about storing that. You need to add the wheels and handles to the unit when you unbox it, but everything just clicks into place and I was ready to wash in just a few minutes.
The first thing I noticed is how much quieter the pump motor is on this machine compared to a little cheaper no-brand washer of similar spec I borrowed from a neighbour last year. I don’t feel the need to try and muffle this one by putting a bin over it to avoid annoying the neighbours!
Despite its thin plastic feel, the patio cleaner works really very well indeed. There’s far less overspray and it cleans away a winter’s worth of muck and algae far quicker than using a lance. Because it’s circular, you will need to get the lance out to “cut in” the edges, but even with that I can clean the whole patio and path in less than half the time it takes with just a lance.
Speaking of lances, the two that you get in this kit will cover pretty much all the situations you would come across for normal household use. The vario lance can adjust the pressure to 3 levels (softest suitable for fencing, middle for cars, and then a hard setting, as well as a “mix” setting to draw detergent into the stream – I haven’t used this yet so can’t comment). The jet comes out in a fan shape, so it’s good for rinsing down wide areas like patios and doing cars. The other lance is a fixed high-pressure “dirt blaster” that uses a ball bearing to give you a fast, circular jet that’s designed for shifting stuff off stone, brick, and concrete or similar surfaces. Hold the jets closer to the surface to get more impact, move them away for less force.
Although it doesn’t mention it in the manual, I used the extension piece meant for the patio cleaner with the lances and as someone who’s 6ft tall, this meant I didn’t have to lean over at all to use it. Bonus!
The unit is lightweight – you really don’t need wheels to move it – the accessories work very well (particularly the patio cleaner) and it’s not too noisy in use. As long as you don’t regularly need to clean huge quantities of mud off tractors or blast back surfaces to bare metal or something I think this unit is perfect for most households.
After testing the K2 Power Control Washer today I mentally planned to write a review comparing it to the Bosch AGT 37-12 power washer. As I purchased the Bosch some time ago I thought that I had better check the current price of both the Bosch and the Karcher. The Karcher provided to me for a review has an additional item over that of the standard model K2 Karcher. For some unknown reason what I call a rotary scrubbing brush Karcher call a T-Racer. There are two versions of the T-Racer — 1,2. The 2 version has a skirt of brush type material around its circumference. Type 1 was provided in the T-Racer that I received.
Much to my surprise when checking the current prices of the two makes as mentioned above I discovered that they are almost identical — with the Bosch having a slighter higher price than the Karcher.
They are different in respect of ease of assembly, weights, manoeuvrability, apparent quality of components; and last but not least — visual appeal. (Subjective, I know.)
The Karcher K2 is much lighter than the Bosch. Perhaps that is something that you would value. Assembly of the Karcher is much more straightforward than the Bosch. If you like canary yellow then you will value the visual appeal of the Karcher: for me the colour and build appearance makes it seem cheap. Wheels push on, as does the carrying handle and the handle for transporting the washer from one area to another of, say, a garden. The adapter for the T-Racer pushes in and then needs a twist to secure it to the T-Racer — but be advised that once in place it is not possible to remove said adapter.
The Bosch has its water inlet on the front of the machine and it protrudes, making it subject to being damaged. The Karcher’s water inlet is on the back and does not protrude past the rear of the push-on plastic wheels.
Noise level of the Karcher appears to be much less than the Bosch. Irrespective of the claimed power of the Karcher the Bosch is much more powerful in actual use. For example, the force of the water jet on the Bosch when using the ‘scrubbing brush’ (T- Racer on the Karcher) is so powerful it almost negates the very purpose of itself by means of lifting the brush to such a degree that conscious effort is needed to keep it in contact with the surface being cleaned. Not so with the karcher — its much less powerful — and whilst on the subject of scrubbing brushes I should add that if you are taller than 6ft (1.82 metres) then, I suspect, you will end up with an aching back if you use the brush feature continuously for more than a half an hour because the extension tube, which attaches to the adapter of the scrubbing brush, isn’t overly long.
The safety lock on the Karcher gun is very amateurish in build and use; and not at all ergonomic. The Bosch puts it to shame in that regard, for both build quality and usage.
Judged overall the Bosch appears to be light years ahead of the Karcher in respect of build quality. Yes, it is true that some of the release mechanisms on the Bosch can be fingernail breaking (removing the water outlet hose connections from the body of the unit for example). The Karcher release mechanisms flew of the device when I first tried to connect outlet water lines. The Karcher does have a 2 year guarantee if such is registered within 30 days of purchase. Its User Manual is visually very clear and also instructive
Given that the K2 is made in Germany I was expecting the standard of production to be much higher than it is.
