Bought one and it worked great for 12 months. Certainly a lot easier than a squeegee and towel.
But broke after a year, took it apart to find the motor had water damage and rust from a leak.
So bought another identical item thinking it was a one off issue, and the same thing happened in 8 months.

So, I’ve been looking at a Window Vac for a while now, and since we recently moved and have more windows I figured now was the time to buy. I went for this one as it was on offer at the time and K’archer seems a good make, I have a pressure washer from them and had no issues with it. So the window vac.. easy to setup, although I had to leave on charge for a few hours to get to full. The spray and solution does make a good job of cleaning the glass, however, maybe I’m doing it wrong, but when I vac it off it always seems to leave marks on the glass. The vac head has like a serrated plastic blade under the rubber blade and for whatever reason I seem to get marks left in the shape of the serrations. I don’t know if I’m pressing the vac against the glass too hard, I need to try it again and just let the weight of the vac rest on the glass maybe. It does suck the water/solution off the window fine, you can see the dirty water container filling up, but I am a little dismayed at the moment with the finished result. As I say this could be down to technique, and to be honest while the instructions are great at telling you how to assemble, how to look after it, they could be perhaps a little more detailed in ‘how to use correctly’ Other than that it’s what you’d expect from K’archer, a solid bit of kit that does the job..

I LOVE this. It’s amazing and leaves windows truly streak-free. I’ve never cleaned so many windows in my life! I would say it’s worth buying some extra pads if you are cleaning lots of windows to save rinsing out when dirty. Also with very dirt windows it takes a couple of goes, just the same as if you were washing normally. My windows are gleaming. I’ve also used it on my shower screen and it works well there too. I have also purchased the Karcher window liquid; not sure if that is why I’m having such success.

So easy to use and less mess involved. Does a fab job on the house windows and glass coffee table. Found it a little awkward doing inside of windscreen of car, did leave a streak or two but just may need a bit of practice. Battery life is good, managed to do whole house with a bit to spare. It really does make life easier. I actually find myself enjoying it.

Only just received the unit and its the first time of using a window vac.
So far so good, windows are streak free as promised, my only concern is the bottom of the window where the ledge is, I can’t vac vertically so I assume I vac horizontally, this has so far left marks ! Maybe I will get better at it.

Spray head leaks but otherwise works well
I found it impossible to get the sprayer head to fit on without leaking so after several attempts used a separate spray bottle of my own. Apart from this the vacuum worked well and I achieved a streak free finish by making only one sweep the length of the window. It certainly reduces the cleaning time considerably.
I assume my sprayer was faulty.
Love this window vac!
This window vac is a game changer! I was initially sceptical about whether this would do a good job or not, but now I’m a believer! I washed a ton of windows today (inside and out) and the vacuum was still going! The windows are streak-free and sparkling, and they were really dirty to begin with! The only downside is that the box only comes with one dose of the cleaning solution, so I’ve now bought refills of that as well as a replacement microfibre cloth while one is in the wash. Am currently recharging the vacuum so I can do round two tomorrow
Quick way to clean windows
Love this window vac. I put off buying one for a number of years but after losing my window cleaner decided to invest in one. Really impressed. It is so easy to use and I can clean the windows in half the time it used to take. Easy, quick and would recommend.
Brilliant purchase
Condensation has become a bit of an issue in our house during the colder months. I honestly don’t know how I’ve gone so long without one of these. I love it! It’s easy to use and I’m in my element going through the house each morning vacuuming my windows. It has also been a god send for when my toddler spills her water on the floor!

So this was delivered earlier today and i was so keen to see if it worked. Id seen very mixed reviews but let me tell you its brilliant. I HATE cleaning windows so much mess and faff and they are always left streaky even with vinegar microfibre cloths everything. So I just cleaned all the windows in my house in super quick time and as far as i can see squeaky clean with no smears. Also the Karcher cleaning fluid is AMAZING! I had a bit left over so used it to clean the upvc around the windows and its great, then i went on to clean a few doory and handles and it removed mucky finger prints etc so all round im super happy with my purchase. Easy to fit together and ready to us one the light is solid green (about an hour of charge) I cleaned the whole house on one charge so pretty good. Was a but wary this would be a waste of money but honestly along with my Shark vacuum is the best cleaning item ever!!
Brilliant for bathrooms
Having thought about buying this for a while for windows, it was the bathroom reviews that swayed me. Having just put a full wet room in and an 18 year old boy using it there is obviously a lot of water left over this vacuums it up in minutes with great suction and the glass shower screen in our en-suite is cleared in seconds. Really light weight, works at all angles, this will save loads of mess and cleaning up time. Fantastic product.

All I can say is GREAT!
I was very sceptical about this window vac, so much so that I never even considered buying one. Then, out of the blue, our daughter brought one and sang its praises so much that I borrowed it and… I’m sold!
It makes life so much easier but the biggest boon is when you get condensation on the patio doors on a cold morning, it just wipes it away with ease and leaves it totally dry.
We live on the south coast and the windows get really messy with salt and it even tackles that with ease. All in all a great little item.

For many years I have been hand cleaning my inside windows , saving pieces of cloth to use on the windows and mirrors. I have an outside window cleaner once a month and think I must clean the inside windows each time he goes.
Unfortunately I am older now and keep putting the window cleaning off. So I thought I would see what this device was like.
It is great . No messy buckets of water or drips . No bags of suitable cloth ready to be used.
Indoor window cleaning was a chore for the morning if the sun was out a nightmare!
I thought I would be sending this item back as it was light and not really substantial.
But was I wrong! My windows are sparkling after one hour wonderful. One tip though is if you are right handed use your left hand to control the vacuum and then you do not press on the rubber blade (and vice versa).
The battery was fine more than enough for a three bedroom house with conservatory.

Does a good job
I was a bit surprised at the price compared to other models but decided to go with it as Karcher seemed the brand leader. When it arrived I was a bit disappointed in that it didn’t look or feel worth the price, and I still feel that. But its performance was good – easy to use leaving spotless results. I do still wonder though if some of the cheaper brands would give just as good results as I can’t see anything special about this model.

I bought this window vac to replace my previous wv2 that I have had for several years, when it stopped working, I ordered a replacement immediately, because they are a godsend, it makes window cleaning a joy, the wv2 is so efficient!, cleaning my many windows are clean and shining within minutes.

I have pondered for some time about whether to purchase the window vac. When the window cleaner increased his rates yet again, I decided that as I live in a bungalow, I would clean them myself. The cost of the window vac will pay for itself within a few months and I wish I had bought one a long time ago! It makes the job so easy and there are no annoying streaks when the sun shines!
Every MoHo owner needs one
Bought primarily to remove the condensation that builds up on the Motorhome windscreen overnight, but so effective I can see it migrating into the house…
Performs well above expectations with regards the moisture removal. Tank gets 1/4 full after the front windows so not sure how large a domestic widow would be before it’s full.
Not had it long so can’t comment on the battery life.

Takes a while to get used to using this, you have to do everything in one smooth movement otherwise it leaves streaks and marks which is tricky to get the hang of but it is great when you get it right.

Now that I’ve tried it few time I clearly say is lovely to wash windows, I would say it works perfect with yellow car wash cloths and M&S window cleaner solution. These 3 will bring joy into your life!

I do like it but I only used it twice on the shower doors and it started flashing, so I had to charge it, the on/ off button a bit stiff, when emptying the water the rubber bit you lift is quite hard to lift!! but glad I bought it!!

Brilliant on tiny windows that sometimes suffer with condensation. And I use it on my shower screen door. Works as expected. Holds its charge well. Easy to empty.

Great to use. Easy to use. But I’m still learning maybe…getting a few streaks down windows. But worth buying. Takes care or drying multiple daily showers following teenagers who just don’t won’t can’t dry up after them and great for those cold morning wet windows upstairs.

My husband uses the Karcher, this was to replace an older model. He’s very happy with it, just one thing he would change. The older model had 3 bars of light letting you know how much charge it was holding, this model has one light so it’s guess work seeing how low the charge is.

I bought this for my sister as I was so pleased with mine, I have a conservatory with large doors and I was very pleased with the way it performed my other windows have smaller panes so the small attachment was great for these. I just use water and white vinegar so no smears and no expensive window cleaner either, great for the environment!

I was a bit hesitant to spend this much money on a window vacuum but I’ve had a few cheap models over the years and they keep breaking down or leaking. This is a Karcher so I had high expectations. And it did not disappoint! I use it daily to vacuum the condensation off the windows, for my bathroom tiles, shower door, general liquid spills around the house, and I’m very happy with it! It charges fast and battery lasts for ages, it’s easy to use (just one on/off button), takes seconds to empty out as there’s no need to remove the whole liquid compartment. I highly recommend getting this vacuum!

I can now clean my windows in minutes with no streaks. I have a slobbering dog so windows get really grafted – used to take me an hour to clean bay windows now they’re done in 4 minutes – deliriously happy

I have wanted to try a Karcher window vacuum for a while and decided to go for it. The suction is excellent for the condensation on the conservatory windows and the glass walls of the shower. The mirrored wardrobe doors came up lovely with the solution provided and the Karcher suction machine. Very pleased with it so far.

Really handy tool, after while (10 usage) it left tiny streaks, still have to use the cloth to dry the windown just underneath the frame. I have managed to clean 26 windows in 30 min, so really impressive. Using it as well to dry my car after wash- massive time saver. Battery life is really good. It’s important to close spray bottle really tight otherwise it will leak. Recommend it.

It has a more sturdy base than the old one, the on/off switch is easy to operate, it has the same suction power and a tank which is, I think, slightly bigger. I received it yesterday, charged it for a few hours and couldn’t wait to put it into use this morning. It was brilliant! Love it. My bay windows are now clean and streak free! I can’t vouch for the battery life as this is only its first outing but I filled in the warranty form just in case! (Just a tip – some people have reported difficulty in emptying the tank. I get the impression they are trying to dissemble the whole thing to remove the tank, whereas all you need to do is pull out the little black tab at the top of the tank and tip the dirty water out).

Wasn’t entirely sure that this was going to be as good as the height but I am very impressed with the way it turned out works very well around the house.
Condension free windows
Well made piece of equipment. Easy to follow instructions. Makes window cleaning an easier job. However I find the operation of cleaning the bottom of a pane of glass when there is a window ledge preventing the tool to reach the bottom. A polishing cloth is still required to remove marks on the window where the swipe of the blade terminates.

Well made piece of equipment. Easy to follow instructions. Makes window cleaning an easier job. However I find the operation of cleaning the bottom of a pane of glass when there is a window ledge preventing the tool to reach the bottom. A polishing cloth is still required to remove marks on the window where the swipe of the blade terminates.

Ideal for shower scree
I use this to clean my shower screen and bathroom mirrors after use aswell as the condensation on the windows in the cold weather. It does a perfect job and is pretty much streak free.
Easy to use
Very easy to use and does a great job, definitely worth the money when you consider how much time it saves on what is normally a laborious job!
Why didn't I get one before?
Absolutely brilliant. I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. The Karcher concentrate works best and is very economical. We have lots of windows here and glazed door panels and they’ve never been so clean. Great for removing condensation too.

Thought my shower was clean – it looked clean but it wasn’t. Then I cleaned all the windows in my bungalow (inside only) all completed on one charge.

This is honestly a life changer. I save so much more time using this. I have actually saved money with buying this product as I used to go through so much glass cleaner and kitchen roll but now this is so much more cost effective.

I love my karcher and use all round the house on mirrors and windows. The only fault is not always being able to go right to the bottom and you shouldn’t use it upside dow

I’m so hot I bought this. It’s so easy to use and it’s lightweight. My windows are streak free I have also used it to clean my shower screen and the respertex and it is truly awesome. The 2 different sized heads make it very versatile. I now enjoy cleaning my windows and anything else ie my car windows I have done those too. I recently told my friend about who has had a shower enclosure put in so she bought one and she loves it too. So I would definitely recommend this.

I had misgivings about this but was agreeably surprised at how well it cleaned and how quickly it did so. Managed my conservatory in half the time. As others have noted it tends to drip rather more than I would like but you find a way to manage this. Having two sizes of head is an advantage when it comes to smaller irregular shaped windows.

My husband took the mick out of me for buying this – basically told me it was an impulse purchase…. How the mighty have fallen. I think the BEST part about this purchase is that I now never need to clean the windows. After the first time I used it he wanted to ‘have a go’.
I haven’t cleaned a window since – I’m now looking for the next ‘impulse purchase’ (also known as stealth tactic to fob off jobs).
Product wise, it does a great job, we have used inside and out, on the glass in the garden and on the glass tabletops, and even on the shower, and the result is always shiny and clean. No need to buy additional cleaning products, water and a drop of fairy liquid, or even an own brand glass cleaner will do. Do need to hold it at the right angle to avoid streaks.

We have just used it inside the conservatory, my wife did the washing and I did the hoovering we did it much faster than normally with less mess.
It also managed to function running sideways on the bottom of the window to clear the bottom edge.

Purchased to replace original version bought many years ago when the product was first released. Makes cleaning windows and mirrors a dream, easy and quick. Great that this option also included the smaller head which is great for mirrors. Lighter than original version and on/off button moved to outer part of handle which is good as don’t accidentally switch it on when lifting it. anymore.

It works perfectly!!…..as long as!
This is the second Karcher I’ve purchased ( the other one my son now has), so I know how effective they are and hopefully this one will be as reliable as it’s predecessor. As long as the glass has been well wetted the Karcher will do it’s job, but if the rubber starts to emit a squeaking noise the the glass is dry and it will leave stripes on the glass, other than that just keep an eye on the waste water container and empty it regularly and you will have a professional finish. Lastly make sure you purchase the the fluid to add to the spray bottle water,it’s well worth the cost.

I have my own little cleaning business so often clean shower screens / windows / kitchen cupboards and this is going to make a HUGE difference to my cleaning time! Anyway this is so easy to use. I did all the downstairs windows, charge still good. We have irritating little square panes in the top of the exterior windows and the smaller attachment fitted them perfectly. It also cleaned glass unit doors which I had never been able to get that perfect finish with no residue before. It may be the cleaning fluid that I bought with it at the time. It is supplied with a sachet of it and I’m still using that so far. You do need a cloth to wipe up the excess at the bottom of the windows, and there is the odd streak to wipe away but overall, so quick and easy to use, I was looking round for mirrors and the shower door, they all came out great.

This has changed my life where cleaning windows are concerned! It is SO easy and so effortless. The interchangeable heads are a must so that you can get in smaller spaces. I bought it originally to clean the shower tiles and shower screen and it does a fantastic job there. The tiles and glass are completely dry and it’s so quick. Finally my house windows are clean, clear and streak free, something I’ve never managed before. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying one, you won’t regret it!
