Hot milk
Bought this to make creamy hot chocolate . It’s brilliant , pop the powder in the bottom , add milk , press the button , 21/2 minutes perfect delicious hot chocolate . Easy to use , highly recommend
It froths oat milk but not all brands!
Bought this for my partner who loves a frothy coffee – we use oat milk and a big thing for me was finding one that frothed oat. The reviews on oat frothing were mixed but pleased to say we haven’t had a problem getting frothy coffee from oatly barista and oatly organic milk. We did however try frothing minor figures barista oat and didn’t that froth. So takeaway it does froth oat milk but not all brands.
For cleaning it’s slightly hard as has the electric outlet on the bottom so you can’t submerge it – we generally rinse and wipe. But not a big problem.
Overall very pleased with this product.
It’s perfect (and I only use dairy free)
I was pleasantly surprised with this machine having read some of the reviews regarding issues when using dairy free . I have now used it several times using unsweetened soya and almond milk. mostly Alpro but used other brands too. The quality of the froth is even better than some barista coffees I found . It’s really good and thick ( perfect cappuccino) . I think you need to put milk slightly above the foam level indicator when making thick frothy milk I found ( out of 7 or 8 times I used it, only once it was only light bubble rather than the nice thick texture otherwise, the only thing I had done differently was on that occasion I had slightly less almond milk rather then filling it to nearly the milk level !)
I tried it to make both cold and hot drink and both did not disappoint.
Cleaning is easy but you have to be careful not to get water on the attachment output at the base.
Great machine, little difficult to clean.
Fantastic milk frother, got one for mum as a Christmas present and she loves it, the only downside is cleaning. If you were to leave any residual milk/froth in the machine it tends to stick to the side making cleaning a little difficult but nothing majorly to worry about.
Works great with Oat Milk
I was looking for a milk frother that works well with barista oat milk. I can say I am very impressed by this little frother. It makes top quality oat cappuccino/ latte and I even tried it with hot chocolate in it and comes out amazing. I recommend this all day long, it is great value for money.

This is a wee gem. I haven’t bought a takeaway coffee since owning this fabulous frother. It was an impulse lockdown purchase (you all know how that happens!), and to be honest it’s the best thing I’ve bought in ages. Warms and froths the milk, has a cold setting too but I haven’t used that. Very quick and easy to use. Would highly recommend.

Really fit for purpose
I ordered this in hope of using skimmed milk to make a low calorie version of a latte. It is fantastic. Really does the job, and is easy to clean too. I use it every day and have thought often how fit for purpose this little appliance is. Would highly recommend.
A brilliant piece of equipme
This is an amazing piece of equipment. I had previously had a much bigger frother and was worried about down sizing but I should not have done so.
It cleans very easily, it makes the milk hot, it produces smooth thick milk, excellent frother. Who needs a coffee shop?!

This is a great product. Easy to use, produces great froth, easy to clean. If you use cows milk I recommend you pour the froth out as soon as it stops as otherwise you get really thick blobs! I use oat milk in it too which works grea
Best milk frother I've used
Had this milk frother for over a year now and I’m always impressed with it. I use it multiple times a day and it works perfectly every time. It’s much easier to clean than other frothers I’ve used (a Nespresso being one) and doesn’t build up and burn the milk on the bottom like other brands do.
I use this for milk and for Oatly barista oat milk (the grey one) and it froths up the milk to a cafe standard. Never had an issue with overflow that I’ve had with other brands too.

Good froth but hard to clea
Very easy to use but hard to clean. I had to stick some pieces of paper towel in the bottom of the frother (where it gets connected to the power) to avoid getting water in it.
All in all a really good frother. Interesting technology and does what it says on the tin. I would recommend it if you don’t mind going the extra step to clean it carefully.

Some of the vegetal based milk does not make a real froth for a cappuccino (because of the milk not because of this frother – I believe so). However, with dairy milk, the product does a flawless latte/cappuccino milk.
All three offered functions work very well.
For cappuccino milk, you click the button once and for latte milk you click it twice.
There is no indication at all if you click it correctly. So, sometimes you get a cappuccino when you wanted a latte.
Very easy to clean; however, you should be careful as the bottom of the milk frother itself contains electrical parts which connect to the base (like an ordinary kettle) and it can not be wet.
I would buy it again.
Brilliant!
This machine is a beauty! Very quiet, actually makes really good thick foam (even with semi-skimmed milk) and looks good. If you’ve been let down by the steam wands on the cheaper coffee machines this is the one for you. It will froth milk, or just heat it up. Also a cold setting so you can froth cold milk for your iced coffee.

Super-easy to use milk frother that replaces the complex Nespresso unit.
The Nespresso came with a built-in frother, but it always seemed to block. This was even if it was steamed and purged straight after a coffee. It was fiddly and time consuming and if it wasn’t for the warranty it would have stopped being functional a long time ago.
Hence the need for a better solution. The Lavazza is simple to use, whisper quiet, delivers a great hot froth of milk for coffee. It can even be used for hot chocolate or cold milky drinks.
Easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space.

Great for homemade hot drinks and quarantine boredom
I love this thing! I use it to make hot chocolate, cold nesquik, frothy milk for cappuccinos… No person really needs this thing but it’s been so welcome during quarantine. It adds a little bit of cafe fanciness to the drinks we make at home. I would recommend it a lot of the price doesn’t put you off. I used to have a hand whisk and this is much cleaner, takes less effort and makes better froth than those do.

I am a Nespresso person. My areoccino broke months ago but I did not want to spend the money to replace it for my nespresso machine. I then went for this Lavazza alternative. I have been using only for a few days and I am very pleased so far. It looks very similar to the nespresso version, works beautifully and costs far less. No brainier.
Superb gift / buy
Used for adding hot milk to my coffee, I love Costa, it’s nearly as good, actually brought 2 my daughter in law loved it, so just brought her one for her birthday.

Love this machine..use for my coffee to froth up the milk to a brilliant consistency. It has a pull out magnet spiral mixer which leaves a flat base Inside to clean unlike other cheaper models which have not got this. Brilliant worth the money

I use organic soy milk for an added nuttier and thicker texture and my coffee has never tasted better – in fact I’d be bold enough to say it’s as good if not better than some of the more upmarket cafes who use far more expensive machines!
Someone indicated the Teflon in their machine started flaking off after a while which surprises me as the whisk doesn’t really make contact with any surface and there are are no other moving parts within the cylinder so perhaps theirs was a faulty batch and should probably be returned under warranty.
Would recommend rinsing and wiping down with a non abrasive cloth regardless as it’s effortless if you do so immediately after using the machine.

This is pretty good, although it would be nice if you could take out the jug bit in order to clean it (ideally it would go straight in the dishwasher). It’s not too hard to clean despite that though.

Froths very well and i was surprised how quick the whole process was. The latte setting is also a nice feature.
The only bad point is it isn’t very clear to see the level marks inside the device.

Love this – the whirly thing is magnetic and therefore ‘clings’ to the base. Very easy to clean. A 4 for ease to use as it’s sometimes difficult to pour – probably more about me than it though! Would definitely buy again.
Doesn't Froth Milk with all dairy free milks
This is the second one I have bought and yet again I thought it wasn’t working as it didn’t consistently froth the milk. Fortunately a friend said to use Oatly semi Oat milk instead of Alpro because Oatly is the best one to use in milk frothers. Since then I have so far been successful. Good advice as it seems not all dairy free milks froth.
Simple to use and does the job
Great design, super easy to use and clean and provides good, thick foam every time. Real connoisseurs would look down on such a labour saving device, but unless you can afford a decent hot water foamer this is by far the easiest way for amateurs to get the milky foam they want. I love it, highly recommended.
Quick and easy to use - highly recommended
Love how easy this product is to use – add the milk – press the button and you have hot frothy milk within minutes – makes a great cappuccino in no time. This was a gift for a family member and we all frequently use it. Only have it one month so no issues todate. Easy to clean as the little whisk pops out for quick wash. definitely would recommend. I read a lot of positive reviews before I purchased this – cost around 40 – which is not cheap but it does serve it’s purpose.
Better than the Nespresso Aerocino!
Very happy with this purchase. Bought to replace a broken Nepresso Aerocino which was used daily. Milk frothing is considerably better on this Lavazza version, and easier to clean due to the whole frother being removable unlike the nespresso which had a raised section inside that the frother dropped onto.
Overall very happy.
Quick, easy, versatile.
Really love my Mio. Bought it to go with an Nespresso Vertuo machine as cheaper than Nespresso own milk trigger. Combination makes coffee shop quality cappuccino, latte etc. Can also use this to make hit chocolate, ovaltine and milk shakes.
Good frother/heate
This has been used A LOT during lockdown, and is brilliant. If you want froth you need to remember to use less milk and only fill to the ‘froth’ mark (you may need to do two lots if you have a big mug). It doesn’t give you scalding milk, it’s the perfect hot-side of warm drinking temperature. It’s quick and extremely quiet. You can’t submerge it in water to clean, but it takes 2 seconds to add a drop of washing up liquid and warm water to the ‘cup’, swoosh it around the whisk (remove and rinse) then run a sponge around the inside, rinse and dry…without water getting onto the control button or the bottom connection port.
Not bad for one perso
It makes for a great coffee if I’m just making for myself. It froths my sofa milk great. The only problem is when I then have friends round and make several cups of coffee. I’ll re-add the milk in but it doesn’t froth the second round as well for some reason until its properly cooled down.

Excellent product. I had my reservations before ordering because of the malfunction after circa one week use that several reviewers reported. I decided to try my luck and I have now had the milk frother for a couple of months and it works perfectly. It makes really good quality fine froth at a perfect temperature and unlike my previous one it works well with milk of any fat level (I haven’t tried non-dairy ones). Some reviewers criticised packaging as it arrived in its original factory packaging but I actually think it reasonable from an environmental point of view. The original packaging is a good quality cardboard box providing perfect protection so why waste any further paper / cardboard / plastic? It drives me crazy when something is delivered in a small box put in a bigger box and then even a bigger one or items packaged in a box three-four times the size that would be necessary.

I really love this product arrived quickly (without prime) got it working straight away and it hasn’t failed me yet.
There are two settings; less milk for foam/froth, more milk for things like lattes. You have to be a little careful when cleaning as can’t submerge the whole thing (it has a bottom on it like an electric kettle) but I haven’t found it annoying to clean.

I wasn’t sure whether to get this or the main competitor, and I am so glad I got this. It’s easier to clean, and will repeat the heating process more times than the N one, so you can get warm or hot milk if needed. There’s a warming setting with little froth which makes a nice creamy mix, or a frothy setting. I tried putting matcha or hot chocolate in there and it gets quite stuck, so it doesn’t really help with that, but it certainly makes an already mixed hot chocolate nice and creamy!! Easy to clean and quick. Also VERY QUITE.

I bought this as an accessory to my Nespresso machine and oh my god! I didn’t know something like this existed and I will never ever go back! The second option with 180ml of milk is the perfect amount with a Lungo pod on a nespresso machine and the milk tastes like it’s been steamed at a cafe without the watering down. It foams so well and creates a beautiful velvety texture to all your drinks. Cleaning is very easy as the inside is non stick – I rinse it immediately after use and a quick run through with soap. Just be careful in not getting any water in the bottom part – just like a kettle. Really happy there’s a cold froth function too – with some warmer weather coming up, iced lattes will become much easier to drink!

We use this for making (mostly) hot frothy milk for coffee, my 7 year old daughter can also use it safely, under supervision, to make warm milk as well, I know she’s not likely to scald herself with a pan, & there’s no risk of hot spots in the drink, as you can get with a microwave.
Easy to use (instructions are on the lid) & clean. Only slight downside is that you’ve to be careful while cleaning, not to allow water to dribble down the side where the on/off button is. Might have been easier if the button was on the power base, but otherwise, no issues.

I wanted a good coffee without using a pod machine and this combination is fantastic. Previously using just the moka and adding cold milk didn’t really work, it meant the coffee was barely luke warm and there was no froth. I want a milk frother that looked sleek and that can sit on my kitchen worktop without taking up too much space. I prefer the look without handles and it really isn’t an issue when pouring. This device heats the milk up nicely, although a tad hotter would be even better however it is certainly warm enough if you drink it straight away. I find the froth setting too frothy and not milky enough. The milk setting works perfectly for me. It heats up the milk and generates a nice layer of foam too. See photo. It is very quiet and takes a few minutes to work and once finished it beeps to let you know. It is really easy to clean too. The only negative is that my partner used it to make a hot chocolate and found it fantastic and now has about 5 a day, so we are using rather a lot of milk! Also worth noting that if you want 2 full mugs then you will need to use it twice as capacity will not hold that amount. I highly recommend this Lavazza milk frother, great product at a good price.

Perfect for cappuccino and latte
I just wanted a machine that would easily warm and froth milk for a cappuccino – this does that!! It makes cappuccino froth, warm milk and froth for latte and then also cold froth milk. It’s so easy, quick and extremely quiet. I 100% recommend

A really good milk frother...
Gives a good froth with coffee shop consistency (using semi skimmed homogenised milk) and is nice and quick. Easy to use and slightly greater capacity than the nespresso aeroccino – as well as a lot cheaper. Easy to clean but need to take care not to get base of jug wet so definitely can’t go in dishwasher..
Barista plant milk only
***EDITING FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW***DO NOT buy to use on plant milk/vegan milk a review said “works well with plant milk” it does not! You only get a tiny bit of bubbles if you use plant milk. Unfortunately works really really well with cows milk.
UPDATE; I got the barista version of Oatly, alpro professional should work too. It works so well!!! Definitely recommend for barista plant milk only!

Arrived quickly, set up is a doddle and very easy to use. Makes lovely frothy milk in about a minute, quicker then boiling the kettle. Once done just rinse out..

Enjoying my homemade lattes
Bought this in light of the lockdown and inability to have a latte….so make my own. Enjoying it, even my son has used it for hot chocolate. Wouldn’t say it produces the hottest of drinks but its certainly fun to use.

Excellent frother. I would have given 5 stars had it not been so difficult to see the min/max level marks within the blender. Have to keep a separate container to ensure the safe amount of milk is used.

Great warmer/frothe
I was really pleased with this lavazza milk frother/warmer. So easy to use, foams and warms in seconds, and it is so quiet. You can’t put the main body in the dishwasher or washing up bowl, but it is extremely easy to wipe with a mild washing up liquid solution and then rinse due to its non-stick lining. Really enjoying coffee again.
Happy overall
We use it to foam non dairy milk (barista edition) and it works feet well. It’s very easy to clean and it produces a subtle foam. Very nice. Results vary from time to time and we think might be because of the milk rather than the machine itself. Doesn’t heat up the milk too much

This milk frother is one of the best I have used. It’s aesthetically pleasing, quiet, and super easy to clean. It does take longer than some others to froth enough for a latte, making it timely if you are making a few coffees. Other than that its fantastic. I would highly recommend.

At last, a real top quality cappuccino
What a fantastic frother. Had my doubts but decided to take a chance, this frother is easily equal to that of a professional coffee shop. Been using a steam frother on the coffee machine but total rubbish. The froth on the lavazza not only stays frothed and firm with nice fine small silky bubbles but it uses any type of milk including full fat, woohoo. You will not be disappointed. this is my first ever review on anything but felt such was the quality of this machine something had to be written.
I’ve tried a few different frothers and this one is the best. Don’t bother with anything else. 3 settings.. Find it best to do the heated froth then cool froth to get a good foam. Don’t need a lot of milk.

Very easy to clean as it’s coated and doesn’t over heat the milk and burn it.
Trust this is great quality.. But cheap buy twice.. Get this one and be done, enjoy good coffee with milky froth.
Great buy
It is very easy to use & a lot cheaper than the one that went with the Nespresso Coffee machine.
Froths milk really well, it does a cup at a time. Takes a few minutes. Once it beeps, pour immediately before it starts setting in the frother. It really does set, and gives you a solid head of warm milk. To clean, just rinse and leave it out to dry. You do get a bit of milk stuck to the bottom (sometimes it goes brown where it gets hot) but after 12 to 24 hours this usually dries up and falls off easily.
Great foam!
Works brilliantly: it heats the milk, and foams it. Relatively easy to clean – take the foamer out, rinse everything, done. Feels relatively solid, but time will tell…
Makes a shop-bought quality coffee
I use the milk brother to make an almond or oat milk latte coffee. Occasionally the milk doesn’t froth, but usually it does and it works really well. It tastes every bit as good as a shop bought creamy latte but is extra healthy and costs less to make. A really nice product that is simple and easy to use, doesn’t take up too much space and is easy to keep clea
Frothy for Two
Perhaps a little limited in capacity, and will only produce frothy milk topping for 2 large cups, but it is good at producing both warm milk, without the frothing gadget, and with the agitator, a good thick froth to adorn ones top lip! Without a handle makes pouring a little awkward for small hands. Otherwise a good buy for the price.

Love, love, love this milk frother. Purchased a small nespresso machine prior to xmas and then decided we needed a milk frother to complete the coffee experience. Not at all disappointed – now make a perfect skinny latte at home! The milk froth is perfect! Extremely easy to clean. Thought it might be too much trouble to use/keep clean but it’s not – so easy to make the perfect coffee – just drink too much coffee now!! Very highly recommended.

Excellent milk frother. Bought in the Black Friday deal and do an excellent price. Bought for husband’s Xmas present for the campervan & he says it is better than the Nespresso one we have at home. Really quiet too.
Frothy drinks at the touch of a butto
Having had one of these for a year or two, have now bought one for the parents – who’ve long been envious of our frothy coffees, hot chocolates and milkshakes. Dead easy to use, quick and easy to clean.
Reason for 4 stars not 5, is Lavazza are beyond hopeless customer service wise – we snapped the handle of the frother bit way back and have repeatedly tried to get a replacement but no one responds despite promises to do so. Not a disaster as the frother can be flipped in and out without but a big customer support wouldn’t go amiss…
Great alternative to Nespresso.
Good Frother, came without any outside packaging. An issue if you want delivery contents a secret. But the actual box was fine. Product is as good as an nespresso Frother for alot less. What’s not to like.

Way better product than expected – so silent you can barely hear it and super fast, takes 30-60seconds only.
I’m using it for Almond Milk cappuccino and the foam is great, gives creamy consistency.
OK purchas
Can only just get one cup of liquid. Second cup not always as good when done straight after first cup. Doesn’t always heat milk to a decent level. Easy to clean and like the magnetic mixer. Could have bought cheaper elsewhere.
Amazing! If you are hesitating, just buy it, this lovely machine won’t let you down. I’ve tried only the hot milk function but I’m pretty sure others will work as great! For my hot milk, I added chocolate powder (Swissmiss is great but I’m think Milo will work too), honey, and just milk. All of them taste nice and the extras Ive added mixed like a dream. It is also very easy to clean which is more important than any functions it possessed to me, a super lazy person. The little spinning compartment is removable and effortlessly cleanable. Paid 19 quid for this and it worthed every penny. Definitely a MUST buy!

Deliciously frothy
The froth is fantastic , perfect . I have a few niggles though . Some of the other frothers I looked at had handles , I have athritic hands and find holding this one quite uncomfortable , a handle would have been useful . Also trying to find the measuring line is annoying .
Cleaning is easy , but I do worry incase I get the element wet . It’s also larger than I imagined .
But bottom line , it makes beautiful froth in no time at all and is very quiet .
Excellent piece of kit. Extremely quiet, good quality, easy to clean and the milk froth is silky smooth. Very impressed, I’ve just ordered another one for somebody else, who was also impressed with it.
Great frothe
Does exactly what I hoped it would. Using it to make great cappuccinos. Doesn’t foam thinner milks like almond and Soya light however.
Very easy to operate and clean. Setting 1 gives you loads of froth. Setting 2 gives a mixture of hot milk and froth. Very good purchase
I m using it with almond milk ,and helzenut and makes such a nice froth for my latte …oat milk not so suitable though as it doesn’t froth much ,great with Soy milk too!

Bought this to go with our Tasimo coffee machine. Works great together. Make great frothy milk and they go well together.
I’ve seen a few of these milk warmer/frother’s on the market and read all the reviews and this is by far one of the cheapest, easy to clean, the whisker sits magnetically on the bottom so its sooooo easy to remove and clean!

I actually use this at work – although have to hide it every evening so they don’t know I’m using it (you’re not supposed to) – but it fits perfectly in my drawer as its pretty small and a compact size and the fact that the cable is quite short is a bonus as the plugs are on top of my desk so not loads of cable getting in the way

Unlike other milk frothers, this one uses a magnetic whisk that you fully remove when cleaning. It’s like wiping out a non-stick pan. No spindle in the bottom to negotiate. It’s super quiet and produces a great result. I never normally bother to writes reviews as I can normally find something I’m not happy with, but not this time. Great product and great value.
Creamy foam
Love this. Easy to use. Perfect creamy foam for coffee or just to make a hot milk drink for the kids. Everyone wants a coffee once they see my now pro-looking latte!

Due to this, I decided to go for another brand. I came across the Lavazza whilst browsing on Amazon and thought I’d go with it as I love their coffee. Really impressed so far as it’s easy to use, easy to clean and I love that it beeps when you click to use and beeps when milk has finished frothing. Voila – perfect latte! Hoping it will last a lot longer than the Dualit did for me.
Bonus that it’s a lovely looking matt black appliance which works well with our interior in our kitchen! 🙂

Great milk geothermal and good value. Only quibble is the cleaning as just using water doesn’t get all the milk residue off.
Very pleased with this milk frother. I use semi skimmed milk and find it does the job fine.
