I’ve never owned a milk frother before, but this one works really well. Even with semi skimmed milk you get a great amount of froth. Not much more to say, but I’d buy again. Easy to clean and looks good.

We love our new milk frother. It makes a normal filtered coffee into a cappuccino at the push of a button – we love it. It’s so easy to use, and to clean. Although you can only do one coffee at a time, it only takes a minute or so to make one coffee’s worth of frothed milk. Nice with a sprinkle of cinnamon on the top.
I bought it as a present for my wife who loves a good latte. She was a bit sceptical at first saying too good to be true. Now she use it everyday, her friends are complimenting her coffee all the time. Good kit, easy to use and clean and most importantly made a great latte
I wanted to be able to have caf style cappuccinos at home and avoid using expensive pod based drinks. It certainly delivers on that and more.
It is perfect for making cappuccinos, hot chocolates and even mixing coffee from sachets.
I find the best foam comes from immediately dispensing when ready, otherwise sometimes the foam can get stuck and not flow out as well. Not really a big issue when it does as you can use a spoon to extract.
Cleaning is easy and I recommend doing so as soon as you have poured the drink/added the foam.
I’ve not had any problems with the magnetic whisk attachment (and I have used it quite a bit since receiving the device, albeit for less than a month), however I notice you can purchase replacements direct from Lavazza for 5. I believe you can also purchase a replacement lid too.

I bought it to make milk foam. I fill it with milk (3.5% fat), press the button and in 1 min I have my milk foam. Simple and easy. I’m very happy with the product so far.

I love this milk frother. After a bit of research I came across this one, and although cheaper than perhaps the leading frother, and having tried the leading one, I found that this was better. Better and cheaper is a big win! I have one myself and having enjoyed it for a few months, I bought a second one as a gift, and it is equally loved in that household.

Because he’s dairy & lactose intolerant I use Oatly Barista milk & it foams up incredibly. Really highly recommend this gadget.
Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter who especially asked for this make and model. She is delighted with it and says it makes perfect frothy milk for coffees, as good if not better than you would get in Starbucks! She is going to save a fortune taking her own coffee on the train to work in the morning rather than buying a coffee!

Only had this for a month but used it almost every day.
Really pleased with this which I bought to replace my Nespresso. This was 39 compared to at least 100 for a Nespresso machine. Not only does it out perform, it has more features and is easier to clean. Very pleased with purchase.
I have been using a percolator for some time but found the results a little bitter not, I think, due to the coffee, which was good, but to the lack of milk. Now, using this together with the percolator, I can make an excellent latte for myself and the better half. At first I thought it wasn’t working, but it was – in operation it’s amingly quiet. So, no need for an expensive espresso machine, pods, bags and the like. It’s great.
A great little machine. it is small and you can only heat 120 or 180 ml of milk at one time but its suprising how foamy that is. Quiet, and easy to clean a great machine with great results.
Despite the fact that you get a nice froth for your coffee, it’s easy to use and very easy to clean. The interior has a non stick interior and the stirrer is magnetically retained and driven so there’s no spindle in the bottom which makes this machine easy to clean. The Lavazza coffee frother is not the cheapest, it appears to be well made, has a pleasing appearance and does what you might expect from a coffee frother. It has various menu options which I’ve not yet tried. So far so good. In my van opinion a good purchase.
We have a number of similar items in our office, but this one stands out for ease of use, functionality, quality of output, hands down better that all the others we use.

I’m not a coffee drinker but on a Sunday I do enjoy a weak milky coffee as a treat so I got this foor myself as a Christmas present after reading the reviews even though I was a bit sceptical. It was in the Black Friday sale so I picked up a bargain & have to say it really dies the job. I didn’t know if it would work with skimmed milk but it does. It’s brilliant.

Heat’s milk to just the right temperature for drinking, grandchildren can drink straight away.
So easy to clean, I just run the whisk under a hot tap and dry. The jug I run hot soapy water into it and wipe with a micro cloth. Do not put the jug into a bowl of water!

We had the Nespresso milk frother which was temperamental and a bit of a faff to clean. It was also fiddly to use for the desired milk requirement (and expensive). I have recommended this product to friends who have also bought one. It is easy to clean; produces great hot milk and is much cheaper than the Nespresso version.

This was purchased as a replacement for the knackered Nespresso one that came with our machine. The Nespresso frother was always hard to clean because it wasn’t flat at the bottom. The Lavazza version is flat and very easy to clean because of that…it froths really well for a short or long drink and can froth cold milk as well . It also fits on our original Nespresso machine base, ours is an older model where its built onto the side, this was a bonus and not necessary but if you are replacing a Nespresso one you may be lucky.
This milk frothing machine is excellent. I was going to buy a coffee machine, but my husband suggested buying a milk frothing machine instead, as I love a good cappuccino. This machine is so easy to use and clean. It gives you a lot of froth. it also works with semi skimmed milk too.
Nice warm frothed up milk comes out of this machine, it does alternative milk (in pic you see vanilla almond from califia farms) as well, although the foam isn’t as fluffy as is at on normal milk it still is very satisfying.

The Lavazza milk frother is super easy to use! We make cappuccinos daily … and now don’t like buying them at Costa or Starbucks! It is so easy to clean … just rinse and lightly dry. Treat the whisk with care as it is quite delicate but this is just being ultra careful. It looks great in the kitchen and we are minimalists … it just looks so cool. Buy one!
I bought this to make hot chocolate and it’s been good so far. A few reviews have mentioned that it’s not hot enough. I find it to be fine, not pipping hot, but a good heat for drinking straight away.
This was a present but bought one elsewhere a year ago. Great for those frothy coffees, press the button one beep and hey presto. 2 beeps and you still get froth but not quite so much as one beep. So simple. Great buy.
The middle bit (frother ) is held in place by a magnet and can easily be removed to clean the non stick surface.

I bought this to replace an aeroccino as they were out of stock and found I prefer it. Much easier to clean and the milk doesn’t get stuck on the bottom of the machine. It takes a little longer to heat the milk but the foam is much better.
Good product. Impossible to get any lasting microfoam from most electronic frothers. This one easily gives the closest.
Cleaning easy. Not to bulky, pleasant appearance. Frothers tend to not last long, had this one 6 months or so, & seems robust, using magnetic to ‘spin’/ froth the milk, so less parts to visibly brake down. Deffo recommend this!

Having used Nespresso frothers only in the past, I can confidentially say this is so much better! It’s quieter, faster and the milk comes out much nicer and silkier. I mostly use the batista blend oat milk and get fab results! Temperature is also perfect for drinking right away. It’s super easy to clean as well as it has non stick coating. Love it!

Really easy to use and clean. There are three types of milk you can make: hot froth, cold froth and just hot milk. Doesnt matter that there isn’t a pouring spout as it pours easily without spilling around the sides. Excellent value for money, highly recommended if you love a frothy coffee!

Easy to use but not so easy to clean. If you are like me that you want to make sure everything is clean. This one you would always wonder if the spring-like spinning frother is clean.
They have another model that is better, the cup can be detached from the base, and the spinning frother can easily be cleaned by a brush. I should’ve bought that instead.

It is quick, quiet and produces perfect frothy milk every time. The only criticism I would make is the levels marked inside the appliance are difficult to see, but shouldn’t put anyone off buying it.
Brilliant little machine! Does a great job with the three functions. Great with regular and skimmed milk (not with almond milk, at least for me). It’s a game-changer for my coffees and teas (and for my children’s hot chocolate!). Coffees are tastier and have nothing to envy to those sold in the shops!! The foam is a-ma-zing!!! My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner!!

This product is perfect for the upcoming autumn and winter. One press: warm, frothy milk. Two presses: warm milk. Press for 3 or more seconds: cold frothy milk.
When heated, the milk is just at the right temperature for a hot drink, whether it’s a hot chocolate, Horlicks or whatever you fancy. There are no issues with a layer of skin on top, boiled or scorched milk that you can find if heating up in the microwave or on the hob.
It’s practically silent, very fast (typically less than a minute) and super easy to clean. We usually use Oatly barista and it froths that well. When it comes to cleaning, we simply rinse it out, put a bit of washing up liquid and fill to the foam line with water, then put it back on and rinse out the soapy froth thoroughly.
It takes up hardly any counter space and we use it most days. Really happy with it. If I had to nitpick, it would be that the foam does lose a little volume after a few minutes and it can also be a bit tricky to see the markers along the side for the max amount of liquid. I know that the ‘milk’ line is 200ml (around the volume of a normal mug) and suspect the ‘foam’ line might constitute around 150ml.

Bought it to make heated frothed milk for expresso coffee. Does it lovely. Heats it to 88 degrees quickly, stirs into a froth with lovely thick foam. I haven’t used it for ice milk yet but I’m confident it will do that excellently as well. Glad I bought this. Very easy to use, very easy to wash out, good to look at as well
This machine works almost silently and gives excellent froth. It could be improved by a handle that would make it easier to hold when pouring and cleaning. Previously, I had an alternative frother, which was replaced twice under guarantee, due to failure to froth, although apparently still operating. I have only had this for two months, so its reliability is not yet assured. However, if it continues to operate as it has so far, it will be an exceptionally good buy.
A great frother! Good design and works well. I definitely recommend it and would buy the same again. Only negative is that the fill level lines for milk and foam are difficult to read so you have to get them ‘just so’ in the light so you don’t overfill.
Why haven’t I had this in my life before now. Amazing. Coffee shop style milk, saves faffing with my over complicated milk frother on my coffee machine. Does need to be cleaned straight after use or the milk sticks and it becomes harder to clean. Worth every penny

Bought this at the start of lockdown, hands down THE BEST purchase I’ve made for a long-time. We have a nespresso one at work, which I believe costs in excess of 100, this walks all over it! Fab-u-lous!
We bought this cause our old Nespresso broke down. This is so much better. Brilliant froth.
We’ve had a few different types/brands of milk frother/warmer and this stands out as being far better than them all.
This has no annoying lump sticking up for the mixing piece to fit onto, and is all smooth inside and makes it really really easy to clean.
Nespresso and a couple of other brands we’ve found have always ended up burning the milk to the bottom in a certain place, even with all the tips and tricks and what eventually became excessive cleaning, it made no difference, they still burnt the milk to the bottom. With this Lavazza one we’ve had no sign of any burning milk residue and it’s easily cleaned with a rinse and wipe of a cloth; it’s used at least six times a day between two of us.
The frothing aspect, there’s no requirement to remove any part of it depending on if you want froth or not, this is simply controlled by different button presses which are even detailed on the frother/warmer lid for ease.
I genuinely can’t recommend this enough, it’s a great product and is well made.
Having used a milk frothing whisk for years with decent results I was sceptical about whether a relatively cheap milk frother would produce better results. But I need not have worried. It is a serious improvement on my mini whisk. Excellent for a cappuccino. I really like a hot drink and this does deliver. I use a pre-warmed Judge double walled coffee glass, start the frother and time an espresso shot or two to be delivered when the milk is ready. This really produces a hot cappuccino. The only downside is 120ml max capacity for foam, so only enough for 1 drink at a time.
Bought this along with a cheap supermarket filter machine as my pod machine has given up the ability to froth milk. What an amazing little machine! Wow! So pleased, it looks great, very simple to use. I tried with skimmed milk and it was amazingly thick and creamy after using the foam function. Easily as good as coffee shop coffee at a fraction of the cost. Would very highly recommend this, it is virtually silent, doesn’t take up much space and froths/foams like a dream! One of the best things I ever bought – worth every penny.
I love this frother, it is stylish, discreet, fast and efficient. I love that it makes perfect milk in a minute. What is there to dislike about it, except perhaps the cost. However, I believe its an investment in a great product that will hopefully last a long time. I have used it every day since purchase, because it’s so quick and easy to work and to clean.
Really liked this frother, but along with some other comments, wish the heated milk was hotter, as my coffee isn’t quite hot enough and goes cold quickly. It needs to be drunk very quickly too. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. It’s very easy to clean and the frothed milk is nice.

This milk frother works really well. It’s very quiet and uses a lot less milk than I had expected. Filling it up to the minimum level is more than enough for one mug of coffee. I would only fill to the second level if I wanted a latte. My only complaint is that it’s not in red, but that’s not a major problem.
One of the most expensive milk frothers, but having now used it for a couple of weeks, I think it is worth the price. Easy to use and quick to clean. The milk is hot, and froths up nicely. I use it mostly with oat milk. Delicious.

Love this milk frother. My friend recommended as she had one and couldn’t resist. I made the mistake of not using barista milk when using alternative to milk but will make sure I will use next time. The result is good.
Transformed my morning coffees. Now I can get a lovely frothy milky coffee for a fraction of the cost from a coffee shop. Really great value and great for making hot chocolates too eg with real drinking chocolate (as opposed to powdered) like from Hotel Chocolat as it whips the chocolate up so no lumps. Can’t believe I didn’t get one sooner!
Easy to use, easy to clean. Heats & froths oat milk in just over a minute for my latte every morning. Holds enough for one cup at a time but that’s not a problem since it’s so quick.

Successfully used one of these for several months, it was excellent, but it ceased frothing the milk. Bought this replacement but it does not froth milk. The only thing I can think of is that there is a drop in voltage to the house although there is no other indicator of this. Perhaps something to give thought to.
UPDATE: It appears that a litre carton of milk labelled full fat milk (double checked) was not full fat milk since a final attempt with a newly purchased carton resulted in frothing of milk as before, excellent as before.

Excellent quality product, looks great and doesn’t take up too much space. Works very well with almond milk, producing a very stable foam. Doesn’t do so well with oat milk. I have found that if you swill it out carefully with water and then dry it immediately after use, it is easy to keep clean.
Perfect as my Nespresso machine only does black coffee and when I do want a latte I can make one now. It’s so quiet when it’s on and very easy to use. Also easy to clean too which is great. The milk is also the perfect temperature you can drink straight away.
I did a lot of research on the internet trying to find the ‘best’ option but eventually lost the will to live and wasn’t willing to pay 150 to froth milk so I went for this one.
It’s a very simple device. I didn’t realise when i bought that it was on a removeable base which is kinda obvious but still really useful feature. The stirrer is magnetic and the bowl has a really good non-stick coating so it is super easy to clean. One button to activate three modes so nice and simple.
I have used this on barista oat/soy milk and semi skimmed. It works really well on all. Some YT reviews point to a lack of control over the amount of froth, but it works fine for me and the single button acts as a cancel so you can stop the machine when you want. If you want more froth then just hold the button three seconds and it froths more without further heating.
Some YT coffee expert reviewers question the usefullness of the ‘heat only’ or ‘cold froth’ functions but if you have children then you will find these really useful. The device quickly heats a cup of milk to a pleasant but safe temperature which means making warm milk drink for kids can be done without the usual risk of producing a super critical liquid in a microwave oven. I’ve not actually tried making hot chocolate directly in the device, but the frothed milk is definitley a huge hit with my son for making hot chocolate.
Cold frothing still works pretty well for those iced coffee days.
It’s a great little discrete unit, the wire to the base isn’t over long and it doesn’t make the place look untidy if left out. Frothy drinks are now super quick and easy so tbh this thing hasn’t found its way near a cupboard yet and probably won’t.

The Lavazza Modo Mio is a bit pricey, but it produces warm milk or frothy milk in a flash; Much quicker & cheaper than using a microwave or a pan on the cooker. Yummy, creamy, frothy homemade Cappuccino’s & Latts.
There’s not much to grumble about, as it is super easy to clean, however, it would be a lot better if the milk vessel was removable for shoving in the dishwasher, as my sausage hands aren’t designed for easily washing this gadget But I love my Modo Mio & can’t live without it now.
Initially I was really happy with this product but then came to realise that there was a fault with this machine. It would not froth up milk when using the cold temperature setting. I thought I was doing something wrong and spent alot of time trying to figure out my error. However after watching demonstration videos online, it was then apparent that that this was not my mistake so had to send back for a replacement. The 2nd one works perfectly so fa
This sees near-everyday use in our house and works really well. It’s got two settings of frothiness, and is great at doing the milk while the coffee gets made, so it’s a staple of the morning coffee routine now.
A couple of tips. First, clean it immediately – which should go for anything you get hot milk on to be honest. Second, it seems to work best with fattier milks, e.g. cow’s milk or full-fat oat milk. Finally, don’t fill it past two-thirds (which is about 50% past the manufacturer recommendation), or you’ll get milk everywhere, even with the lid.
I actually bought this to replace a well know chocolate maker’s hot chocolate making machine which kept breaking down (and is twice the price of the Lavazza!). I read the reviews before buying and after doing much searching on Amazon. I think this machine is brilliant. So easy to clean, and the hot chocolate comes out at just the perfect temperature. I know it’s primarily designed for coffee making or frothing milk, but it’s just as good at making frothy hot chocolate. I initially worried I wouldn’t like it because it doesn’t have a handle, but it’s very easy to lift and pour. Five star rating very much deserved.
Was previously using a handheld frother and not getting much benefit from it so decided to treat myself to a proper machine. Best decision ever – definitely recommend upgrading if you want to make latte style coffees at home. It has different settings, I use one for frothing/warming milk for my coffee and the other to warm up a cup of milk for my Chai lattes. It’s super easy to clean and looks neat on my kitchen counter.

Wow ! At last a great way to make a professional coffee at home. The frothy milky is perfect and tops off a hot drink really well. Not only will I buy another one for work but also give them to my friends.
I was torn between getting this or the Nespresso Aerocinno. I was so glad i chose the Lavazza its compact but that is perfect for me as i am the only one who drinks coffee in my house. The milk froth is nice and thick and creamy. So simple to use and you have hot frothy milk in a couple of minutes. The one niggle i have it’s hard to see the milk levels inside the frother but that’s it. I would definately reccommend.

Cons: the line to fill it is pretty hard to see in low light, would be easier to clean if you could submerge the whole unit in water
All in all, we’re happy with it and use it daily. Been a great buy.
Love this frother! Use it every day for my morning flat white. I was skeptical as I use oat milk and wasn’t sure if it would froth well but I read other reviews and chose this specifically because of this functionality. So pleased.
Easy to clean, neat and compact. Recommended!
Produces excellent warm frothy milk. I have had other frothers that do not heat the milk enough. This does, even for drinking chocolate.
My only gripe is that I do not find it easy to clean. Obviously, due to the electrical components, it can not be submerged, so you are left hanging it over a sink, worried about getting the underneath wet.
Overall it’s excellent and I would recommend.
