Good quality with fair packing
Pros:

1) The product was delivered in good condition
2) the product was with good quality
3) Kids loved it.
4) All the pussel pieces are in place/ none missing.

Cons:

Product packing was not so cosy as we buy from toy stores.

My 10yr old wants this forever so I waited for the price to come down as low as it did & finally got it. It’s a great set, he put together with ease and there’s lots of bits to it which he enjoys, it’s a substantial set with lots of play in it. I wouldn’t pay full price for it but that’s only because I think lego is too expensive at time. It turned up on time & packaged well.

Ninja go is value for money.
I got this set on offer for about 75 and it is worth every penny. You get a lot of characters and the bad guys have some great unique pieces. The all in one breathing apparatus is good but they don’t fit well in to the machine while wearing them; the extra hair pieces mean you take the helmets of for play but it would have been nice to have one for every character. So in all the characters are great as is the mantra ray.
The actual build of the submarine is wonderful. I love the design of it; it looks so stylish and has a lot of play features. The mech at the front of the sub is such a great little feature as are the mini subs inside the main compartment. All of this makes it great to play with the family: two of the kids can be characters in the mini subs, one can be in the mech and me and the youngest can control the big one – there aren’t many sets like this and it has already provided hours of family fun.
Most of it is quite robust but the main ships have a couple of cosmetic fiddly bits that fall off regular (nothing that isn’t easy to fix). The two motors at the back are also quite breakable and I spend quite a while fixing them (but again it isn’t difficult and doesn’t require instructions).
When it isn’t being played with it looks good on the shelf as well.
Overall:
Playability is very high: we all had a wonderful time playing with this, in fact it has encouraged us to buy more Ninjago sets. Some of the play features are gimmicks (like the opening motors) but the options for mini figures and the smaller subs and mech make this a wonderful set for playing.
Buildability is high: it isn’t too difficult but it is a large set which means you get plenty of building. The engines are a bit fiddly and there are some stickers but not too many and they are generally quite large.
Durability is high: while bits did keep falling off (the cosmetic blade pieces were particularly bad for this) the bulk of the ship withstood some rough play without serious damage and any small breaks were easily fixed. The mini subs are very durable and even the mech stood up well under play.
Displayability is very high: I love this set! It looks so good and is a very nice design. This looks very good on the shelf and will be one of our main display pieces for a while. I cannot say ‘I love this set’ enough. It is really great to look at.
Affordability is very high: I got it for an offer price which was a steal but even at its rrp I think this is a good deal (relative to the price of Lego) especially when compared to some of the Lego Star Wars set at a similar price range. I rarely buy the more expensive sets but this was worth the price.
Final verdict: a great set that is a must for Lego Ninjago fans but also appealing to non Ninjago fans as well.

Great product and great price....worst delivery experience to date!
The product is awesome. Huge kit with lots of detail. Lots of minifigures which is always something I look for.
Delivery was a huge let down. Delivery was delayed which was not an issue, however, when it was delivered, it was simply left on the doorstep as we were not in. This is despite adding a delivery option to say leave with neighbour. This normally would have been fine but we were away meaning that this was on the doorstep all night. Luckily it did not rain and luckily I have nice neighbours who noticed it the following morning and took it in. Most annoying element was that the driver marked it as handed to customer. A blatant lie. Very disappointing. Would expect from other courier services but really disappointed in Amazon in this instance.

Great set with hidden mech
My son has wanted this set from the first moment he saw it. He has watched the earlier Ninjago series but nothing recently. However this set looked amazing and does not disappoint.
The main cargo section which stores the pods has along transparent blue lid. There is space to store two boxes, a mantle for the Ninja hair pieces (only 3) and two pod like submarines, as well have having some clips for accessories. Each sub is similar but has different stickers and weapons. They have yellow fins that fold in and out and a gold ring at the back that spins around- the propellor. Each pod fits one minifig lying down.
Behind the cargo section is the crew compartment at the top. It can be accessed by lifting off the whole lid or opening a smaller flat. At the front is the steering section, with large wheel, then two side-by-side control stations and a fourth console space that looks backwards out of a domed blue window. There is a periscope behind the crew compartment, and a fin- made of technic and a plastic printer sheet.
The back has a pull back a central brick to allow the white long fins on either side to splay out and the grey rocket boosters to move into the bounty. You push back the brick and then pull both grey rocket boosters to close it up. This is a rally nice feature to give even more playability to this set.
The front of the hydro detaches to reveal it is actually a small mech- which has space for one of the Ninjas to drive. Removing this mech reveals a small gold circle with trans blue poles- not functional but nice detail. The mech is articulated but doesn’t have knee joints. Either side of the front are a single spring loaded shooter.
A second much smaller chariot type vehicle is pulled by a lovely ray. This chariot fits the Prince Kalmaar minifigure which has a moulded head, and octopus type base and carries a long gold weapon. To help him is also a single Maaray guard with flippers and eel/snake like head.
There are two Wu-bots- which have legs, cuboid block for body and a Mr Wu style hat
All 6 ninja are included, in scuba gear, with great new moulded helmets, air tanks/hoses with a connector at their waist for stability. Plenty of spare weapons are included.
There is also a circular moulded piece which I understand is a wave amulet- in the new trans blue iridescent colour Lego have recently introduced.
A great set- a little pricey at the original 129 but much better price currently.

Lego Ninjago 71756: Hydro Bounty
If I had to use one word to describe this set the first word that pops into my head is huge. This is a whopping set with over 1150 parts and 10 minifigures if you include the 2 Wu Bots as a minifigure which as they have legs I suppose they are. The minifigures included are; Scuba Kai, Scuba Zane, Scuba Nya, Scuba Jay, Scuba Cole, Scuba Lloyd, Prince Kalmaar and a Maaray Guard.

The build is huge and yes I’m sorry to use that word again but it really is and any Ninjago fan would adore this set. Along with the Hydro Bounty there are two mini submarines to build, a detachable mech and a Manta Ray chariot for Prince Kalmaar.

The Hydro Bounty has shooters and an opening cockpit and submarine storage area. The Wu Bots can pilot the Bounty or the detachable Mech to fight against Prince Kalmaar.

A wonderful set with tons of play value.

Epic - well worth i
This is a fantastic lego set with so much to it; the build takes a few hours, with the beautifully detailed submarine coming out about two feet long. It also includes eight mini figures (plus two simpler ‘wu bot’ figures) and two smaller submersibles which can fit inside the large Hydro Bounty ship. While there are over a thousand individual pieces (woah!), the instructions are very clear.

Fun, great looking, recommended.

Almost Bountiful
On the whole this is actually a really great set. I only have a couple of niggles with the completed set but they were enough for me to mark it down by a whole star.

You get a full complement of the Ninjago team in this set which is great and I am certainly not going to moan at that. You actually get:

Scuba Nya
Scuba Jay and the land option
Scuba Zane
Scuba Kai and the land option
Scuba Cole
Scuba Lloyd and the land option

There are also two Wu Bots which are quirky little characters but I’m not entirely sure where they fit in to the whole Ninjago-verse. I’m guessing they are the Ninjago droid equivalents of R2D2 and BB8.

Unfortunately you only get two of the bad guy team:

Prince Kalmaar (still my favourite mould)
Maaray Guard

Really feels lacking on the bad guy front for this set.

The Hydro Bounty itself is a pretty neat ship and there is room to pop both of the include sub builds in to the belly of the beast. Personally I think they are too cool looking to tuck away so I popped the 2 chests and the scuba stand in to the hull. The propulsion system is pretty neat and engineered in such a way that you can adjust it and the fins explode outwards (forgot to get photos of that I’m afraid).

However, the nose cone pulls out to make the weakest mech in the world. It really isn’t the easiest to pull off and reattach and the mech itself is fiddly to assemble in such a way as it will stand up. Accordingly I am ignoring the possibility of doing that as it really does not work for me in any way shape or form.

Overall pretty pleased with the build quality and the techniques used to create it.

Huge, highly detailed, incredible quality
This is a dream for anyone into Ninjago – or just Lego fantasy.

It’s a lot of money, but the end result is something to treasure and could easily be a display piece.

Lots of figures included plus two Wu Bots and a chariot – so this is a complete set, no need for additional boxes. That makes it pretty good value really.

With 1,159 pieces this isn’t for younger kids – 9 is about right, but varies with child, you’ll know. Requires a fair degree of concentration over several hours to put together.

Excellent Lego building set, highly recommended.

Lovely way to pass the time
I’ve had a lovely couple of hours building this. Follow the instructions (well diagrammed in the instructions bit an immense sense of satisfaction in completing).
Admire the engineering and design from Lego – incredible set up. I shall dismantle carefully and ensure all the pieces go into a craft container with a secure lid to wait to give to my grandson when he is old enough to appreciate it and we can build together. I have taken the precaution of downloading an e-manual from the Lego website just in case,
Lego quality and durability is a benchmark for the toy industry. I think any young child would love this.
